Beautiful park with lots of birds and a huge pond. I sat on a bench in the morning and wrote in my journal while chilling to some music. I honestly enjoyed it very much. Playground was updated, and it seem people enjoy fishing there too. Unfortunately there was one bird who had fishing line and two small weights around his or her feet. 😕 I hope someone can get it off, I tried my best to do so.

There are SO MANY kinds of ducks and geese! I buy cheap dry cat food for the ducks and geese. It's better for them than bread. Catfood has protein which is beneficial, but bread is an empty "filler", with no nutrients. It's a great place to feed them and for kids to learn about them. There is a little kids play area and an older kids play area. There's also fishing, a splashpad, basketball court and more. It also has a GREAT walking path and lots of tables and benches. We LOVE it here. If you take your dog, please don't forget to pick up their "messes" with the green bags provided by the park!!

I love the variety of this park! It has everything one could want in a park, including a lake, expansive picnic areas, a rose garden, baseball fields, giant play area, history of Lorenzi and the land, and walking paths. The last time I came here they even had a Japanese Festival in the Cultural Pavilion area; fun! The surrounding area makes this park not located in the nicest of areas, but the park itself is great and expansive. The lake and the rose garden are my favorite draws of this park as they are both peaceful and provide a nice ambience for relaxing while getting your walk on. Plus, my dog likes the variety of scents and enjoys this walking path.

Cool park. It's got a small lake in it. No swimming allowed. Fishing is allowed with a fishing license. There's a lot of ducks and geese. Plenty of grass areas to play and plenty of trees as well. Bbq areas are standard. There is a water pad playground area to play in but it is currently closed for fixing.

Nice spacious park with a large lake. Fishing is allowed with a permit. Lots of big friendly ducks. So watch your step for blobs of scattered bird poo. Shaded picnic areas. Decent size parking lot.

Descent for a city park. Far too many homeless people call it home. But the pond ( known as Twin Lakes) when I was a child is nice and provides an urban fishing experience. Channel Catfish and Stocked Rainbow Trout are the primary targets. Waterfowl are abundant. There are many shaded pinic areas with barbecue grills at most. Public restrooms and some drinking fountains. There is large soccer field area ,as well as basketball and baseball. So things to do for the entire family.

Kids and I love this park!!!! For the past year and a half I've started my own family tradition bbq with them and inviting a few associates and loved ones. It's always a beautiful vibe. And the best part is knowing someone will be blessed with these leftovers 🤗♥️

This is a very huge park. Love that they have 2 ponds you can walk around, they're pretty big sized ponds. They also have a basketball court and I believe 2 sets of playgrounds. (We didn't go towards that area due to the cautious tape from COVID 19) They also have this humongous field you can literally do anything.. (picnics, lay under a tree, kickball, soccer, anything you name.) You are able to fish, but you must have a fishing license if you're over the age of 12. If you love bird watching this is a perfect place for that. The ONLY downside is that there is literally duck s**t EVERYWHERE by the ponds. YOU HAVE TO BE AWARE OF WHETE YOU ARE WALKING....or else you WILL step in it..

The park was nice relatively clean. My favorite part is the pawn with all the ducks and geese. My kids love it! My biggest issue about the park was the amount of homeless people sleeping there. They didn't cause us any problems but at the same time. I didn't feel comfortable letting my kids stray more than 10 to 20 ft away from me

A very cute park with multiple pavilions and shaded seating areas. Bathrooms could use better lighting. Artificial spring and creek is calm and soothing (also has a rabbit?!?)

I was looking for a place where I can do a picnic nearby in this was my first choice. I really like it because it feels so peaceful and quiet. Also there are geese and ducks, well I think there were these animals. Anyway it's free, take your bike, take a walk or do what I did. Do a picnic in Lorenzi park. Just next time I would like to know where the restrooms are.

Kids love coming here to the lake and seeing the duck and geese. Wish the area was a bit cleaner and less homeless just all around.

The park is a great place to hang out with family and friends. They have slide, swings, playgrounds and a water park great for little ones. Tons of grass to have a picnic at or if you have dogs or other pets to play in

I went for a picnic but i have been going to Lorenzi Park for a number of years. I used to take my dogs there. The lakes have a true water source. The grass will always be there since its watered by the lake water. A nice place to walk around to be near nature. The ducks and geese fun to watch.

I love this park, it is in North Las Vegas and has a wonderful atmosphere. If you get there and managed to get one of the gazebo’s that are close to the lake, you got lucky. You might have to reserve them I don’t know. I recently did an event there for a birthday party. It was phenomenal. I am a professional clown. Google Charlie The Clown.

Time for Las Vegas to step up to the plate. This park is a hundred years rich in the history of Las Vegas. The pond was built in the 1920s. It at one point had an ice house on premises to manufacture ice forndelivery back when actual iceboxes were.a thing. The ice house closed during Prohibition because illegal beer was found on premises. How is that for a cool story? The park is in need of a lot of love. It has a fabulous Rose Garden, which is maintained through the various Roae and Garden Clubs of the City. It also has great facilities for those types of public meetings. Unfortunately, the exterior family areas need a bit of love. They are somewhat drab in color and covered in graffiti. The rubberized flooring is also in need of repair. I do not know how safe the park is for families in the later part of the day as the sun goes down There are some sketchy looking folks who like to hang out, but I guess that is just like any park. Perhaps it would be better if the park was better maintained. But hey, the ducks don't care!

This park has changed quite a bit in the few years since I've been there. They added a play ground over by the lake. The lake is beautiful but there are so many geese. There were a lot of homeless people throughout the park. We still enjoyed our walk.

Dirty park, police harassing the many homeless who are camped on the park to avoid the heat. But the kids did like the animals

This park has become one of our favorite parks to visit. Three playgrounds that are able to be used, one playground that is closed and a splash pad that is closed for repairs. The lake is nice and you can fish. Baseball fields are huge, tennis courts are huge, and lots of open fields to play other sports games. The basketball courts are always in use when we visit. Plenty of picnic areas and love there are a good bit of pavilions at the park too. Plenty of parking and even shaded parking.

We play baseball here and practice. Restrooms usually have toilet paper but that’s about it. I always bring hand soap and sanitizer because there is running water but not always soap. There are baseball fields and a soccer field.

I had a wonderful day at the park with my family. It is a family park it is a dog park. It's everybody's park to enjoy and have a good time. There was no problems at all thank God.

From the first time I went I loved it. Love the lake and the people are friendly. I love the basketball courts can be seen from one of the playground areas. I haven't walked around the entire park however I know that everyone that goes there always says it's a nice family oriented park. Only downside this time around is that it was dirty which caught me off guard however I'm thinking maybe short staffed.

PLEASE ticket people for letting their dogs run off-leash, they're killing baby animals and it's absolutely devastating. The animals need more bushes to hide in and that dome pavilion and the tall grass around the bridge makes visibility a problem for them. The animals hurt themselves on the rocks and fall on the poorly constructed edges of the pond. They slip and slide on the sidewalk. This place was not built with the animals that live there in mind at all, just the entertainment of awful people with terrible dogs and children.

Please don’t go there to feed the ducks and geese. The water is now contaminated. Don’t eat any fish you catch there as it is posted all over the park. Still great functionality but the water does smell. Enjoy the trees and the walk all around the pond and lay on a blanket under the trees. It’s not under repair as of yet as the waters Algae is so thick the water gets no oxygen from the thick underwater coverage.

I love twin lakes and the festival plaza visit the park soon. Today I visited the Sammy Davis Jr. Festival area of the park for the 31st annual Disability Awareness fair with the wife and kids it was a great day. I was able to spread awareness about the Professional Institute of Technology and how free traing is availible to many and for those with a disability can go to school with no out of pocket expense.

Nice big lake with ducks, lots of room for activities. Not the best part of town, but I always see families around and I feel comfy going here. Lots of community activities happen at this park too, like Japanese festivals and I think the bonzai society meets here.

I grew up in Las Vegas, previously this park was nothing to scream about, however, this was my first time visiting since the remake. It's been nicely overhauled now. Basketball courts, covers over the grills, slides, it actually looks and feels like a park

  • 4/5 Anna D. 2 years ago on Google
The park is beautiful and interesting for those who wants to see and know the true Las Vegas history. Nevertheless, there are a lot of homeless people, which makes the park to lose its safety. Also the trails around the lake are very dirty with ducks' excrements.

Beautiful Park, well maintained. My wife and I love to come to Lorenzi Park and sit in the shade next to the pond and watch the Ducks!!

  • 5/5 Belen H. 5 months ago on Google
Beautiful scenery well planned out park different breeds of birds, ducks and geese or as my guy likes to call them "dinosaur chickens" lol 😆 so relaxing spacious clean great place for BBQ parties picnics dates great place to bird watch walk around look at the huge pond with the island in the middle. The only bad thing is the upstairs log playground is so old and the floor is coming apart. You can tell homeless sleep there. Looks and smells dirty. Good thing that area is secluded and away from the main park.

  • 5/5 Patricia N. 2 years ago on Google
Lots of homeless people no place to go plus all of the Covid19 changes in Nevada its making even tougher no rental assistance if you trying to move into a place no one shot deals you are now required to have a signed lease with a term of six months. Plus you have to apply online! Every Saturday the volunteers serves food and give out basic items to any one at 9:00-10:30 Am hot food, coffee, lemonade and water. Christmas time will be amazing!

One of the best parks in Las Vegas. It has a lake within the park last space to have a picnic and a birthday party. Occasionally they do concerts here. Spiritual benefits. There’s also a big water park for the children to play and a huge basketball court. The ice cream truck to come into the park and sell ice cream for the kids
