Can’t wait to go back again and have Chris be our server! The Mahi-mahi tacos were probably the best fish tacos I’ve experienced! The presentation was outstanding too. I enjoyed those tacos with table side guacamole and a prickly pear margarita on the rocks. Outside seating is an option too, but that night it was a little cool for my dad so we opted to sit inside. This place will definitely be in the rotation when in Las Vegas!

Delicious food and fabulous service! We started with the chips and salsa and added the guacamole. It was made fresh to order with our level of spice and was terrific. The margaritas were tasty whether on the rocks or frozen. For our entree, we both had the fajitas big three. Fresh, hot and yummy are the first words that come to mind. The portion size was great and had great flavor.

This place is beautiful! Great to stop in for a margarita after shopping. We were immediately seated and treated well by all members of the staff. We ordered the HOT salsa with our C&S and it was delicious! Our carne asada fajitas were steamy and the veggies were cooked perfectly. We sat and enjoyed ourselves for a few hours and will return again.

A pretty decent place for food, but I thought their special margaritas were wayyy too sweet. I'd stick with their classic margarita or keep it simple with beer. The Sangria was better, but nothing special. They have Happy Hour on the weekdays though so that may be the best time to come. May come back to try it then! We got the nachos and they were really good! Perfect for sharing and well-balanced. It had a good mixture of toppings and the ratios were on point. Overall, not a bad place, but there are a lot more competitive options in Las Vegas.

I just can say amazong things about this place. The restaurant is pretty. The patio is cool and you don't feel the hot weather at all (the sprinkles works good) and little birds on the tress.. The food amazing. One of the best nachos I tried and the margaritas really good. Steak 👌🏽👌🏽 and the best size of avocado with chips😍. Lovely. Great attention. I went twice and I will be going in my next trip to vegas

Stopped by with a group of 8 while passing by and we were seated immediately. Staff was friendly and attentive. Shrimp tacos were recommended and they were so good! They come 4 in a order, crunchy shells. We ordered as an appetizer tho you can order as entree as well. Really really good!! Taquitos were pretty good too but I’d definitely come back for the shrimp tacos.

One of the best mexican food we’ve ate. The place has a good vibe, the personal is very nice and prompt and the guacamole is amazing. Highly recommend it if you are in Vegas and you want to eat mexican food.

If you’re in Vegas on a Taco Tuesday or any other day of the week that ends in ‘y’ you need to hit up El Segundo Sol! Let’s be real when is there ever time when Mexican food isn’t the right choice for a meal?!? We started with a skinny margarita coupled with a tequila shot because is there a better way to start a meal - I think not. Handmade guac was our appetizer of choice. We selected the ‘medium’ and it was the perfect level of spicy without bringing tears to the eyes. You wanna talk chips - these guys were thin, crisp, salty with a hint of oil. I could have eaten the whole basket but Josh insisted that I share. Our entree was the chicken enchiladas with a side of street corn which was a solid selection but honestly the entire menu was filled with top notch options. The tortillas are handmade and you can taste that in every authentic bite. This restaurant is located outside of a mall but they’ve done an amazing job creating an environment that is fun and eclectic with patio, bar, standard and high top seating. So whichever table type suits your fancy - they have one for you. Highly recommend you get your ‘taco’ fix at El Segundo Sol.

Amazing gluten free tacos! We have food allergies and they did a great job, no reactions! Atmosphere is fun/romantic, Service was friendly and catered to food allergies. This is our favorite stop when in vegas. Bottomless chips and salsa, yes please! They have a separate fryer, so no cross contact. Our most recent work trip here, we brought a party of 10 and the staff was great. I forgot my purse and our waiter tried to run after me with it but couldn't catch up. When I came running back a few minutes later looking for it he was so sweet and got it right back to me. AMAZING!

[Above all, will I be back?] This is my go-to place during happy hour whenever I go shopping at Fashion Show mall. Food is good, nice ambience, happy with the happy hour prices! Can’t complain anything! As a Vegas local, of course I will come back next time I go shopping there! lol 1. Food - The quesadilla was surprisingly good! made fresh, perfectly cooked. Hands down! I will order this again. Nacho was nice as well, the portion was good for the happy hour price. 2. Ambience It is a pretty large place with about 150 capacity? The indoor is wooden and dark with Spanish music playing, like a rustic fancy Mexican restaurant. A bar for both inside and outside. I sat at the bar outside and it is good to people watch. 3. Service The staff was friendly but a bit slow when there was not many customers outside. 4. Hygiene Cups, utensils, the bar and the floor.. everything was clean. 5. Price Go there during Happy Hour (see the menu in the pictures)! Chips and Salsas is $4, Quesadillas $6.95. Taco is $4 each. Magarita on the rock is only $3.5! 6. Restroom: It was clean and well maintained. Gender separated. 7. Location It is conveniently located on the first floor at the fashion show mall on the Vegas Blvd & Fashion Show Dr. 8. Parking You can park at Fashion Show mall for free. 9. ETC - Happy Hour (Mon-Thurs): 3:30p - 6:30p ** If this review was helpful, please vote :) @juxycat **

We tried this place today. Food: 3.5 stars, atmosphere: 5 stars. This is definitely a fun place to people watch and the decor is nice. Great patio and service was great. The best part was probably the prickly pear frozen margarita, which wasn’t particularly strong but tasted great. We got the chips and salsa, fajitas, and chicken enchiladas. All were good, but not amazing. The presentation was very good and the flavors were not bad, but nothing really stood out as exceptional. Overall a solid place for those visiting the Strip to have a good time but not exactly a hidden culinary gem.

This place couldn’t get any slower if it tried. The manager in plaid couldn’t figure out how to staff a restaurant if the national nuclear codes were on the line. 40 min for a round of drinks. It’s. Not. Busy. At. All. How is this Vegas??? Go to Lukes instead of this embarrassment of a joint! Help! Please help. We’re starving!

Just stopped in for a margarita. The margaritas are on point! They are very smooth and have great flavor. I also picked up a Michelada (made with Clamato and Modelo)…in the words of Guy Fieri…flavor-town! Great atmosphere and very attentive and friendly staff.

Food was too artisan for me, i like grease and flavor, i don't need all the extra gimmicks. The staff was amazing, location was good.

Great place for good Mexican food in Las Vegas! Interior refresh is nice, and the food is great. Staff attentive and pleasant. A fun dining destination within easy walking distance for many hotels. Highly recommend.

Stopped by on a Sunday morning for a drink. I ordered chips and salsa and a few drinks. The service was good, and we sat on the high tops by the bar. The restaurant was busy, and the food did look delicious. Nice spot at Fashion Show Mall. I'll return again and try menu items.

We stayed at a hotel here by the mall on the strip and were referred to this Mexican restaurant - was not disappointed! Our server was Francisco and we sat outside under the misters in the 100°+ weather with no issues at all. It is shaded, cool, and such a relaxing atmosphere with fantastic food! We literally only got appetizers and dessert because the portions are SO large!!! It is just my husband and I, so we are just having a blast with some great food and atmosphere. Thank you guys for welcoming us so graciously!!! Will definitely be back!

My husband and I LOVE this restaurant and always visit multiple times during our yearly Vegas vacations. The food is fabulous, we always feel welcome, and the happy hour specials are the best! All time favorite place to eat and drink in Vegas!

Stopped in for some margaritas on a very hot Saturday afternoon and had a great experience. The misters on the patio are a game changer. You can enjoy people watching while staying cool. Our server was friendly and we enjoyed our experience. We had a few margaritas and the bottomless chips and salsa. All three margaritas were delicious, we had the azulito, the prickly pineapple, and the sol margarita. The sol margarita is a delicious classic, definitely my favorite. Chips were good, just needed some salt. The salsas could’ve been a lot better though. They’re just okay, not bad, but not super flavorful. Would certainly come back for some more of the tasty margaritas.

Between the two of us we had the birria taco platter, the chicken enchiladas, and the chips and dip appetizer. We absolutely loved our food!! The rice and birria were salty, other than that the flavor in everything was great. We tried to go a second time on our last day in Vegas but they closed before 5: 30 on Monday.

The best Mexican food I've had in decades !! Amazing. A great little place with lovely atmosphere. Right at the top of the Strip, outside section of the 'Fashion Show Mall' so you can do some people watching. Good prices - great food. We both just had a sangria drink, and I had the sizzling skirt steak fajitas. My wife had a taco platter. All was beautifully presented and so delicious. A great find, different from the usual Strip food. Highly recommended.

Sat down quickly. Very friendly and professional service. This is actually the 4th time we've come back. Food is great, we've favored the fajitas, but our daughter is a quesadilla conisuer and given it the "soooo goood" stamp. The Sol Margaritas are a must have choice.

We went with a group to celebrate a birthday. It was the perfect setting and the music wasn’t to loud. We ordered Mezcal old fashioned cocktails which were one of the best we have tried. For food we started with some fresh and tasty Guacamole with chips and salsas. Definitely try the steak burrito enchilada style. Carnitas tacos were descent but I wouldn’t get them again. Service was awesome and our server was full of knowledge and look after us very well.

The portions were are generous; in fact, I ordered the shrimp enchiladas and could have easily shared them with my colleague. The freshness of the chips and salsa was evident, and the guacamole was well-flavored.

We decided to try this place after reading the reviews. This may be some of the best Mexican food I have had. The sol margarita was fantastic and the loaded nachos were the best I’ve had. The GM Eli came over and talked to us for a while and gave us some info on the restaurant. I can’t give this place enough credit. I will suggest this to everyone who comes to Las Vegas.

So happy we stumbled upon this restaurant. Unlike so many other dark, cave-like eating places in Vegas, we were able to be seated outdoors in the sunshine. Thoroughly enjoyed our delicious, large plate of loaded nachos. The frozen margaritas were so refreshing (could've been bigger tho ;) Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend!

The wait wasnt bad at all, got seated immediately. It started with the menu, there is a humungous difference between a regular and grande margarita, the price is still high for the size and quality of what we got. The waitress kept coming back after we stated that we needed time to select what we wanted. After figuring it out she took our order and we got the endless salsa and chips, she asked if we wanted the guacamole that comes with. My wife said she did and it was brought out. Little did we know that was a big extra charge. The chips were not hot or even warm. The food came out and the grilled steak fajita was not seasoned, I'm guessing the flavor was supposed to come from the sauces and not the meat. My wife's chicken tacos were dry, same issue with the flavor. The waitress forgot about us after we got our food, I wanted a glass of water but had noone to ask for it. Waited for at least 15 minutes to ask for the check.

I love the ambiance which included a large outdoor bar. I ordered the chicken nachos and my sister ordered the tamales. Food was so tasty and the portions were generous. They even have to go cups for your margaritas. I spent 3 days in Vegas sight seeing and partying but the chicken nachos here were the highlight of my trip. Yep, they were that damn good!

Always such an amazing time. Great food even better staff. The bartenders and management really treat you like a million bucks. I don't remember names but the night staff and late afternoon ones make my day !

09/14/2021 They made us eat at the bar because they said they were fully booked and we didn’t have a reservation. 3/4 of the table were empty yet they insisted they were fully booked, we finished dinner at the bar and the same 3/4 (if not more) were still empty. Not sure why they forced us to eat at the bar, in any case very bad customer service.

No a la carte food items? People like to mix and match meat options and not be restricted to a certain amount for a certain price. I suppose since this model has been working out, who am I to say otherwise? Definitely not my forte. The shredded chicken added on to the nachos was far better than the chicken with the chicken tacos we got. Sitting in the outdoor bar area, we barely were serviced.

This place is located right off the strip and right outside the fashion show mall. After a few hours of shopping and craving Mexican food. They have an indoor and outdoor seating with a bar inside and outside. Sat indoors but our waiter was great and attentive . Had nachos and tried one of their strawberry margaritas everything was super tasty and fresh. They even have fresh guacamole that they make right at your table.will definitely be back for the view and food of course !

Was walking around here at 9 last night when I got a hankering for some Mexican food. There were a few places to choose from but after seeing the reviews, I came here. Sat at the bar inside and got service pretty quick. Ordered a beer and a glass of the CasaMigos mezcal. It was a nice pour. The menu doesn’t have a lot of choice, at least as far as different pages of menu that I’m used to. In fact the menu is 1 sheet, drinks on one side. Food on the other. Tacos and fajitas mainly. I go with the chicken fajita, the one with the Guajillo. The plate was served hot and bountiful. Corn on the cob, one weird looking pale green pepper (it’s hot homie) red peppers, rice and beans on the side. 4 small flour tortillas. The chicken tasted really good! I made myself 4 little ‘taco’ burritos and had a fabulous feast. I’ll be back and next time i just might want a churro with my taco

Stuck up reviewer: I do not drink, so… this is about the food. The menu is short- so you’d expect them to do few things well. I ordered the shrimp taco as it was recommended. A good shrimp taco will have a slight flavor of cumin, rock salt, chili powder, onion and if the recipe calls-garlic and perhaps something to spice it. Grilled shrimp will be supple and the sauce adding some zing if anything. The deep fried tortillas were greasy and wet… the cheese was fixed to the base. The shrimp were gooey but rubbery and also embedded in the tortilla… atop was watery, shredded lettuce. A side of tasteless beans and rice? Overall a complete mess. It was as if the food was a copy of a copy of a copy and the chef (I do not think this restaurant has a chef) - but as if the chef has only heard about Mexican food and then served it to the owners who also have never been to Mexico (or eaten the relatively decent Americanized version of the food). Skip this place. At $25 a plate- why not just go to 7-11 and grab a burrito. I give it 2 stars for the friendly wait staff. Oh and- they play two types of music so loudly that the cheap speakers are distorted. Even for Vegas- this place is a wreck.

  • 4/5 Melina V. 2 years ago on Google
The food was really good (tamales, mahi mahi tacos and slow braised pork). The server was great, she even suggested a margarita that wasn’t on the menu but that was delicious (Mango margarita). The hostess was a different story. I had to approach her, let her scan us and give us a look and then I had to ask her for a table, hear her say ok, get another look, be told there will be a wait (the restaurant wasn’t busy). We were told we would be outside, fine… another look, then we were seated inside.

Go during happy hour for $6.50 drinks and $5 nachos. The nachos were delicious and a good size...I couldn't finish. The service was friendly but very slow, and there weren't even many customers at the time.

  • 5/5 Jessica S. 1 year ago on Google
Staff was friendly but a tad slower than normal. The environment was relaxing and enjoyable, we sat outside under the trees. The food was large portions but it seemed like they used canned chicken in the quesadilla. The margaritas were pure perfection, especially the to go size 😁

El Segundo Sol in LV is always a favorite to-go restaurant for me. The tough question hits as you get seated, margaritas on the rocks or frozen??? One is to die for, serious brain freeze warning over here 😃, and the other one is to live and enjoy. Pick your choice, or maybe both. Chips and salsa are always good, complimented with fresh, hand-made guacamole adds to the taste. We ordered veggie fajitas, enough for two to share. Highly recommended place for good food, environment and service. Reservation recommended, especially for larger parties. Viva El Segundo!

This place is a must stop on the Vegas Strip if you like Mexican and Margaritas! Hands down the best quesadilla ice ever had. Plus a 32oz margarita on the rocks (with the salted rim, of course!) The spicy guacamole was fantastic as well. And when we got the road, we made sure to grab the remaining cocktail goodness in a 2 go cup👍👍

  • 5/5 Joseph C. 1 year ago on Google
Ultimate best Mexican food with amazing, warm chips and salsa. Ask for the spicier salsa, as the standard salsa are quite mellow. Try the rib eye with potatoes and Oaxacan black beans with corn tortillas! Bonus! They gave my wife flsn with a strawberry for her birthday.
