This place was awesome! I had the "ants climbing a tree" which was a spicy glass noodle dish, it was delicious and well plated. The tres leches cake was also very good. Wifey had the fish tacos, which were bomb! They also offer take out and they have two bars were you can see the dishes being prepared as well as the cocktails. This place is a Asian/Latin fusion Concept, and it was well planned because it works nicely. 10/10 I would recommend! 👏💯

Stopped here with a group of friends and shared lots of different dishes. So much to choose from, and each item came out hot and delicious. Fast, friendly service. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Vegas! I'll let the photos do the talking!

Amazing food and great service! We loved everything that we kept ordering after finishing dish after dish. Host and waiter were pleasant. I dream of the ants on a dish noodles with the glass noodles lol. That was my favorite. We also ordered dumplings but I didn’t take a photo because it was gone by the time we finished. Perfectly seasoned not too salty or bland. Just like home. Thanks y’all for the amazing time!

Don't let the price or anything fool you, this place is amazing! It's the first time I felt like a fushion menu was truly staying authentic and celebrating the best of two cultures. We stayed at the Cosmopolitan for ~ 1wk and ate here 3 times. We did the tasting menu and loved the Salt Foam Margarita and Coconut Ceviche 😍 On our last visit the staff noticed it was our third time back and even offered us some extra bites on the house. Thank you!! Please open an SF location!

We had a great time here. The salt air margarita is amazing. We tried a wide variety of food and everything was yummy. By far the best thing we ate was the carnitas. We also had delicious pork buns, dumplings, oat noodles, and fish tacos. We sat at the taco bar which was fun to experience.

Nice casual setting. Service is excellent. Drinks - we tried the air salt signature drink. Nice concept but got the drink after the food came. I understand the concept of food will come at different times. But, would have appreciated the time to enjoy the drink with the app. Food - chicken dumplings were good, the lamb noodle dish had the right amount of spicyness. You cannot go wrong with the vege rice and fish tacos Overall good but could be better for a branded Chef restaurant.

I decided to take my sister to Vegas for her first time. We stayed at the Cosmopolitan (my favorite place to stay). I hadn't tried China Poblano and am glad I did! They are more of a 2 type of restaurant, not a fusion thing. We went for La Hora Feliz (happy hour, 4pm to 630pm at the bar only) What we ordered: Salt Air Margarita - the marg was delicious. Salt Air is awesome. Quesabirria tacos - 1 taco per order. They were hot and tasty. Chicken Siu Mai - yummy with goji berries on top Ji Song - lettuce wraps. If you can't do spicy, be aware they got a good spice! Fried Wontons - Airy crispy goodness! Churros - made to order, with a Mexican hot cocoa mousse. Delicious. Staff was on the ball, quick, and explained everything as it came out. I'll definitely keep this place on my list on go-to's. I'd like to try a lot of other things here.

I went here a couple times over the duration of my stay at the Cosmopolitan hotel. Delicious food-my favorite being the Dim Sum garnished with gold flakes. “Ants climbing a tree” is a fun noodle dish, too. The atmosphere is inviting and chill. The staff is friendly, kind and tentative. Our server, Matt, made us feel so welcome. :) I can’t wait to go back this Spring! 10/10 I would recommend this place to anyone looking for variety and top notch food.

At first we thought the concept of Chinese and Mexican food was a odd mix, but once we arrived to the restaurant we wanted to try the various mix they provided and we got delicious and fresh salsa with some chips as well as “ants climbing a tree and and 18 monk”. Which was beautifully presented and let’s just say we ate it like kings. I also love, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to any allergies, they asked if we had an allergies for every dish we ordered. Next time we come to Vegas, we will definitely try more dishes.

We really enjoyed our meal here. It’s fun to get a few small plates to share. No matter what you do you have to try the mango sticky rice for dessert. Save room for it and share it with someone. It is like nothing I have ever tried before. Leave me a thumbs up if you try it and like it. If you want to try something different this is a great place to take a chance!

Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good food! I would definitely suggest reservations and everyone should order a separate meal for sampling. Price is cheaper so it's nice to visit and try more!

It was an enjoyable experience. We enjoyed the various different types of vegetarian tacos as well as the carnitas taco. The menu has different options as in unique flavors and ingredients. We were able to try what cactus tasted like. It was good. The service was great and the inside was pretty cool. If you are looking for something different, try this place out.

Cool decor and atmosphere. It was pretty busy and the staff was slow and inattentive. The drinks were tasty and the birria tacos were the best. The squid ink ceviche was nothing special, but the shrimp dumplings were superb despite them leaving one out. The oxtail soup was the as the black ink ceviche. Wasn’t impressed- feel free to Go somewhere else.

Innovative ingredient combinations that you won't find elsewhere. Loved their tacos and birria. I think in general their Mexican dishes are better than the Chinese ones in terms of seasoning. We did not like the ox tail noodles at all. The mango dessert was amazingly good and I wholeheartedly recommend you try it! 😋

This restaurant at the Cosmo Boulevard Tower serves two of my favorite cuisines; Chinese and Mexican dishes. The wings were my favorite dish, it had a spicy kick of a sauce drenching the tender chicken meat. The noodles had a tasteful spice as well and it was well complemented with the bok choy adding a flavorful after taste. Service was excellent and we enjoyed the recommendations from our host.

Wow, wow, wow! The chips and salsa alone was amazing. Get that and the Har Gow and you'll already have an amazing meal. Not exactly an Asian-Mex fusion place, but rather Asian and Mexican cuisine under one roof. I would definitely come back.

This place was so good we ate here twice!! First time was in person and the atmosphere and service was really wonderful. The second time was for take out and the gal that helped me on the phone was very kind, patient and honest about the sizes of the tacos (street taco size is their description) and even made recommendations based on items I thought I wanted and let me take my time as I reviewed the menu to make another selection. We had the table size guacamole, and I mean, what else could I really say? It was delicious and they let you pick your spice preference as well as remove any ingredients as you’d like. The carnitas tacos were fireeee - the photo isn’t the best of these in the takeout box, but I’d eat these over and over again. The chicken taco pictured in the restaurant was delicious. The chicken was well seasoned and very flavorful! We got the La Mian Lo Mein and it was also delicious! 20/10 recommend!

We tried this place in Vegas, on the 2nd floor of the cosmopolitan where there are lots of food choices. On a positive note the service is fast and friendly and it was easy to make a reservation. All the dishes are small so u need to buy several, we purchased 4 for 2 people. The poblano en nogal we received was cold and didn’t come with a knife. Lo mein was our favorite dish and very filling. While it wasn’t terrible, if it’s up to me I wouldn’t choose to eat here again.

From start to finish, dinner was fun and delicious! We sat at one of the bar areas. All the employees were friendly and attentive - Kenny helped us and he was the absolute best! We decided on the Chef’s Experience for the variety. Starting with chips and salsa and ending with a churro in Mexican hot chocolate sauce, every dish was perfectly prepared and fresh tasting. All the dishes until the 20 Vegetable Fried Rice, are light and small enough portions that you do not feel too full. It would be difficult to choose a stand out because all courses were different and delicious! A fun dinner; would definitely recommend!

We always make time to come to China Poblano whenever we're in the area and we haven't been disappointed yet! Easily one of my favorite fusion restaurants, the menu is thoughtfully curated and the drink pairings are spectacular. We were at the restaurant during their Agave Tiki Takeover event, and sampled several drinks from that menu. Lime in the Coconut and Hummingbird were particularly tasty drinks. For food, we ordered several a la carte items, plus the tasting menu. For it's price, the tasting menu is a great value, plus the items you get are incredibly delicious. Of particular note were the young coconut ceviche, and the chicken sui mai, both of which I wish I could eat right now. It's also fantastic that you can get dishes that feature queso menonita, as it's impossible to find further north, and is super tasty. Definitely recommend the queso fundito to enjoy this cheese. Road to Xi'an was also very delicious, and well portioned. For dessert, the tasting menu comes with churros, which come paired with hot chocolate espuma, and we also grabbed a Giggling Buddha, which was delicious and very unique looking. We also had a selection of mezcal, so be sure to peruse the menu (or ask for recommendations) while you're here--especially enjoyable at the end of your meal. Great food, combined with great service add up for a meal that we'll be dreaming about for many days to come. Thanks so much! Can't wait to come back again!

We stumbled upon this place while staying close by. Always nice to try a José Andres restaurant. We got the chefs tasting menu and most of the food was very good. The service started out fantastic but things hit a snag about midway through the meal. We had to wait quite a bit for the last 4 items and the bill. Not sure what happened, but it impacted the overall experience

It is a nice place to have dinner in Vegas. I recommend the guacamole, it is freshly made in front of you. The noodles should be served with some extra soy or oyster sauce for those who want to eat more spicy or salty.

China Poblano, a culinary gem that masterfully fuses Chinese and Mexican flavors, left an indelible mark on my taste buds. The restaurant's commitment to innovation shines through in every dish, creating a dining experience that transcends traditional boundaries. The menu is a vibrant tapestry of flavors, blending the bold spices of Chinese cuisine with the rich and diverse tastes of Mexico. From the moment I sampled the dim sum with a Mexican twist to the unforgettable tacos, each dish was a testament to the chef's culinary prowess. A standout was the Peking duck tacos, where the succulent duck perfectly harmonized with the handmade tortillas and vibrant toppings. The marriage of these two distinct culinary traditions was nothing short of brilliant, offering a delightful journey for the palate. The ambiance at China Poblano is equally captivating. The restaurant's design seamlessly blends elements from both cultures, creating a visually stunning and inviting space. The attentive staff further enhanced the dining experience, providing insights into the menu and ensuring every detail was attended to. In summary, China Poblano is a culinary adventure that surpasses expectations. Whether you're a connoisseur of Chinese or Mexican cuisine, or simply seeking a gastronomic exploration, this establishment is a must-visit. The fusion of flavors, coupled with impeccable service and a captivating atmosphere, makes China Poblano a true standout in the world of culinary fusion.

Did the meal tasting, and the food just kept coming! My favorite was the shrimp - it had an amazing glaze, rich with flavour. I have had Jose Bazaar at other of his restaurants, and he never disappoints. He has unique pairings and flavors for his creations. Would definitely recommend! The pace of the service was great as well.

From entering to leaving we were happy . The service was great The food is amazing and the vibe is chill. Fresh ingredients! Drinks were good. We ordered the watermelon salad which was bomb! The tuna ceviche with chips Chicken tacos Noodles. We are happy with each item as they all had an amazing twist to it.

The restaurant isn't really fusion in terms of the dishes, but they offer both cuisines side-by-side to great effect. The mix of Asian and Mexican dishes is strangely seamless and works really nicely. Had the tasting menu and my only complaint is that there was too much food. Great flavours, great visuals and really strong service.

Interesting mix of Asian and Mexican food! Considering being in Cosmo. Prices are reasonable. Food are excellent! I wish I have take more photos of my friends’ food but they are absolutely amazing- interesting flavor of Asian and Mexican!

I had a great vegetarian tasting menu, but the server was a little over the top and my boyfriend's items were less than desired. For the price point I was very happy with my multiple course tasting menu, I only could give four stars because my boyfriend's items were less than expectations. I love chef Andre and would give him a shot in the future!

We had to wait, but the system was great in that we left our name and wandered the hotel and the staff texted us when the table was ready. The food had a fantastic fusion of flavours and they were super creative with the flavours. The Yogurt Coconut Ceviche was surprising in texture and taste in the best possible way. The Terracotta Warrior dessert was also a novel treat! Service was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was boisterous and fun.

Me and my daughter come to Vegas every year, and if there is one place we always go is CHINA POBLANO! We live eating here, the food is always amazing and delicious! One of our favorite dishes are the noodles with the far brown sauce (which we didn’t order this time because we ordered the fried rice) and some other items that OMG! Thinking about it makes my mouth water! China Poblano never disappoints us! Drinks are delicious and stuff hahaha! And the food just outstanding!!! Order all these!! You will be very satisfied!

I’m disappointed. I was excited to try this “fusion”. The ambience was really cool. I ordered the dumplings first and they were very doughy with little of the Korean bbq inside. I ordered 2 tacos and they both came out at different times, which was odd. They weren’t much to rave about and the Viva China was very odd (but someone who may like cold oyster better might prefer it).

  • 5/5 Dani S. 1 year ago on Google
Place is super cool inside. Long menu with delicious food. The unique thing I didn’t like was the food had so much oil. I still give 5 stars but I wouldn’t comeback because so many oil and I like healthy food. Attention was great and kindly.

Great atmosphere, delicious food! We tried the dim sum, noodles and quesabirria tacos all were full of flavor and texture! Def one of the best foods we’ve had this trip!

  • 5/5 Jeffery O. 10 months ago on Google
Seating is a bit cramped but all the food we ordered was very well cooked. The fusion of ingredients was odd to order but unexpectedly very good! Dimsum Pork belly with shrimp and the octopus taco sound not appetizing but we're extremely good!

Busy place and had to wait quite a bit for everything. The green beans with almonds were great. They ran out of several dishes hours before closing. The Dan Dan was ok but could have had more protein in it. The monk was average. Smaller portions as well. Overall, just average. The appetizer sandwich was very good but not for 12 bucks.

  • 3/5 Keng L. 1 year ago on Google
Had the tasting menu. Selections were decent but not my taste. Everything was overly seasoned and very salty or too much lime. The vegetable fried rice though was the star of the show. Next time i will just get the veg fried rice. It was delicious. The air salt margarita was so-so, nice touch with the salty foam that they place on top instead of the side/rim.

I've only eaten here twice, but I love this place. Where else could you get tuna ceviche and shu mai with poached quail eggs in the same meal? It's all so delicious that I can't even recommend a specific dish. Just go order whatever sounds good, and order a lot of it. It's all amazing.

  • 5/5 Sonal P. 2 years ago on Google
Honestly really good food! Ordered the tuna ceviche and fish taco. Would have loved to have tried the fried rice as all other items recommended by Edwin at the bar were on spot! But to full! Best fish taco I've had to date!
