Man o man, I am vegan so my review may not hold too much weight but the side that I had, which was cucumber and onions and then the coleslaw was absolutely amazing. I loved it a lot. The atmosphere was great and and a place i wil go back too

Awesome location! Great atmosphere with great food. Very helpful staff & very tasteful food. Only issue I had was that one or two dishes had a little to much sauce for my liking. Other than that the family loved it ! I like to taste the flavors in the food without to much sauce! But I would definitely recommend this place! Great location for the live band and etc.

All I can say is. NAILED IT!! We got into town late and we're looking for a place still open without having to leave the strip. I came across a review of this place and we stopped in to check it out. Not only is it right on Freemont, it has absolutely amazing BBQ. We put our order in and watched the live concert right on the strip. We ordered the Project Platter and Mac N Cheese. For $20 the platter is enough for two people, the Truffle Bacon Mac N Cheese was just icing on the cake so to speak. If you go make sure you get it! My buddy got the Garbage bowl and it was incredible as well. I highly recommend this place when you are in Vegas and looking for not only a place to eat, but an experience. You will not be disappointed and I will definitely be back!

I really wanted to enjoy food. But the chicken was dry and my order was incorrect. The pulled pork was pretty decent though. This place has potential, so it's still worth trying at least once. Also, there are no chairs only standing tables.

Project BBQ was the perfect end to our first day in Vegas! My husband and I shared a Bratwurst Sandwich and a Pulled Pork Street Tacos - and both were very flavorful and filling. The truck and the tables are located right by one of the open concert stages in the Fremont Street Experience, giving us front row seats to whoever happens to be playing. Another advantage is the super close proximity to the Circa bar, which had a variety of drink options. This is a must-try if you're in the Fremont Street Experience!

There’s a lot to do along Fremont street, so chances are you’re looking for a place to eat! The project BBQ has a lot to choose from, ranging from sandwiches, tacos, and some signature dishes. I went for the smoked pulled pork sandwich, which at $16 is a great value. Bonus: you’re close to the stage at the end of the Fremont street experience, which means you can vibe to live DJ and join if that’s your thing!

Tasty BBQ! A good spot for a quick bite on Fremont Street. Pro tip; if you order the meat as a side it’s only $5 and is a decent portion (the sandwich is $14).

The project platter was so delicious, perfect amount for 2 people to split which brings it to only 10 a person, for a great portion. And it's a way to try everything on the menu! The meats were so good, not dry, perfectly juicy, and still had that yummy char smokiness taste. Best of both worlds tasting smoke and fire grilled! The sausage was also delicious. Love love love the potato chip nachos thing that is also on the platter. I do thing it would benefit from some sour cream on the nachos. Slaw was ok, nothing compared to the rest of the dishes. I also ordered the elote cup, super flavorful!! Perfect with the squeeze of lime.

fresh bbq every thing in between. The Truck slaw was fresh like it came straight out of the garden ! Bonus is live music and pulsating beats ! Keep in mind it is standing style eating which is fine with me 👌

Las Vegas, NV Project BBQ is a stationery food truck on Fremont. Drawback- You have to stand at tables to eat or take it to go. Plus- the food is good. Others in my party had ribs and chicken sandwiches which they enjoyed. I had the brisket street tacos with onions and cilantro and an order of loaded potato chips with cheese sauce, bacon and green onions. The order is three filled tacos; I ate one taco and a third of the chips and was satisfied…it was 100 degrees. But… Delicious. Friendly staff provided good customer service.

I had the kabobs and my husband a sandwich. The kabob & fries were awesome! Meat was tender. Fries were super flavorful. Staff was friendly. Location was great for eating and watching entertainment on stage. I took my food pic after eating one of the kabobs.

Rolled in around midnight for some food to go. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was pretty delicious. I ordered the garbage bag or whatever. The chips were nice with a hint of garlic, the barbecue chicken was awesome, the brisket was awesome, and the pork was pretty good too. All in all I enjoyed my experience here.

We had a wonderful experience here. Definitely recommend! There are no chairs which I thought would be upsetting but the food and service made it worth it. We couldn't find better food for that price anywhere else on the strip. If you are heading to the Fremont experience this is a must try.

Friendly service but they messed up a few minor details. Order "to go" but it was served on a tray. Requested for the slaw on the side not on the sandwich but they put it on the sandwich. It was busy and super loud so I can understand the mistakes. The food was okay. The ribs was tender. Loved the tacos but the brisket was dry and I had better Mac and Cheese. The line was long but the serves was quick. I will try again when its not so busy.

Came down on Halloween night to grab a bite and people watch. I was there early so there wasn't a whole lot of people watching, but it was still busy none the less. I waited about 10 min for my food which wasn't a bad wait. The place is standing only and is right by one of the stages, so there is plenty to keep ypu entertained while you wait. I got the garbage bowl and corn bowl. The garbage bowl is just their chips covered in pork, brisket and chicken as well as slaw and cheese. It was very tasty and the BBQ had a nice tang to it, however, it could have used some more sauce. The corn was delicious. It was creamy and full of flavor. These 2 together with a water were about 30 bucks but could have easily been split with another person. Overall great food and atmosphere!

Delicious and inexpensive. We tried the Garbage Bowl (this is a lot of food you might want to share), ribs, brisket tacos and the grilled corn in a cup. It was all amazing. We will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu. Would definitely recommending.

We stop here everytime we visit fremont Street. The customer service is awesome, the staff is friendly and the food is very good. I didn't do 5 stars only because the food is sometimes not so warm but we still enjoyed it

It was so nice to stop by recently and try their amazing BBQ that I’ve heard so much about! We went with the Ribs with Baked Beans and Pork that come with the Famous Chef Rex’s “Project Chips” ,Truffle and Crispy Bacon Mac N’ Cheese, Bacon wrapped Pork Loin Kebobs, Mini Project Tacos with Queso & their Brisket Empanadas! Everything we tried was so good and definitely worth coming back for especially if you have a party of 15-30 people for “The Hogstravaganza” which includes an entire roasted pig served with sparklers and other delicious items!

One of our favorite places to eat in downtown. Highly reccomend the garbage bowls good portion for the money. Also we have been coming here at least 4 years. We live in Cali so we come to Vegas often. We always bring our friends and family here to experience this. This time we saw there was new sides added. We LOVED the truffle Mac n cheese was probably the best Mac n cheese I ever had. Glad to see this once small good truck expand the way it has.

While walking around Fremont on Halloween last year, we were hungry and looking for a place to eat. Most other places had long lines and you had to go inside, but we wanted to watch the concert and eat at the same time, so we found this place near the stage. There was a line, but comparatively less than other places. We made an order, we were given a number and we were near our table, the food was carried long and missed our number, but they can also be understood. However, we liked it, so if you want to have a quick bite without taking a break from watching the show, I recommend this place, maybe we'll look here and this Хеллоуин🧛🏻‍♀️🎃👻.

Came from out of town and the bbq was garbage and dry. Way too much bbq sauce and onions. I asked the employee for half a refund and she told me no way. It comes that way. Place is terrible. Do not eat here! Waste of cash. We spent $40 + for tacos we didn’t even eat and the staff was rude when we expressed that. Do not eat here!

Cool atmosphere right on Fremont Street (attached to Circa). Overall, food was good. The employee, Samantha, helping us was fabulous! Helpful with the menu, friendly, and checked back with us after we tried our food too. She did a great job assisting everyone and was genuine.

The smoked ribs TORE RIGHT OFF THE BONE!!! The fact that I tried to pick it up with my fork and it just FELL APART!!!! OMG!! And the Hot Link bites are crispy and great!! There’s great music and fun vibes. The service was phenomenal!! When I bit into my food, I immediately started dancing! If you haven’t tried it before, I recommend Project BBQ! It’s top tier!

My 1st time here and won't be my last. A friend of mine highly recommend Project BBQ and I have to say I was not disappointed. Very good. I had the Brisket Empanadas which I highly recommend. Great flavors. I also tried the Tacos. My husband had the Brisket sandwich and chips. Amazing.

  • 4/5 JOE 2 years ago on Google
Employees are awesome. Brisket was dry and they put it on a bone dry roll which makes it not so great. Coleslaw decent. Tacos were actually really good. Had 1 of each. They should slightly cook the tortilla also. Location top notch.

I made the mistake an not checking my take out order an was missing my 3 tacos they charged for. Also the full slab was more like 5 bones they were quite tasty but far from what I was charged for. all In all the staff was friendly an the BBQ was very good especially sauce. The fried pork skins I would skip though Luke warm at best an hard with way too much seasoning

11/12/21. Tired of burgers, Project BBQ was a different for late lunch vinager BBQ! I bought the $ 20 SAMPLIER. Pulled pork, bbq chicken, links, potatoes chips and Cole slaw.it was pretty good, the only bbq downtown.

Ordered baked potato and chicken sandwich and they gave me the wrong chicken sandwich 🙄. I asked the person that delivered the order to the table and they offered no help. I gave the chicken sandwich that was delivered to the homeless. I ate the chips and tried to eat the sandwich but I prefer boneless skinless chicken, which is why I asked about it for my potato and whet with pork instead. The clueless order taker didn’t understand this I guess. I’ll go elsewhere in the future: edit… ordered the FREMONT FIRE chicken sandwich and it was very good. Spicy 3.5/5 so very bearable for anyone that likes spice but not a good fit for someone that isn’t a spicy lover.

  • 5/5 Alexandria M. 10 months ago on Google
My daughter and I both love hot foods. So, we had to try their spicy chicken sandwich! Nashville spicy chicken better watch out, Vegas got SPICE! Great heat, and the pickles & slaw were a good touch🔥🤙🏽🔥🤙🏽🔥🤙🏽

Love this food truck! It now has a permanent spot in front of the Circa Hotel in the Fremont Street Experience. Been going since Chef Rex started and only had 5 items on the menu. The menu has grown and everything is fantastic. Definitely recommend for a tasty meal while watching sports, jamming out to the free music, or just looking for awesome bbq.
