We
came
to
PublicUS
to
have
a
quick
late
breakfast
with
a
family
member.
The
place
was
crowded
for
brunch.
You
stand
in
line
to
order
at
a
counter,
then
hope
like
heck
that
you
can
find
a
seat
(there
were
4
of
us).
After
finally
getting
seats,
out
food
eventually
came...
Separately.
First
my
boyfriend's
sandwich,
then
several
minutes
later,
my
carrot
tea
(which
arrived
already
poured
into
a
glass
cup
with
no
offer
of
cream
or
sugar.
Puzzlingly,
the
waiter
brought
the
empty
tea
pot
with
the
loose
tea
in
it,
though
there
was
no
indication
of
a
refill
or
anything.),
then
my
biscuits
and
gravy,
then
the
steak
and
eggs
(the
other
2
people
shared
a
plate).
So
in
order
to
have
hot
food,
you
have
to
eat
while
other
people's
food
isn't
on
the
table.
The
carrot
tea
would
have
been
better
if
it
had
steeped
longer,
and
I
bet
it
would
have
been
phenomenal
with
a
little
drizzle
of
honey
or
cream.
There
are
a
lot
of
what
seems
like
store-baked
good
on
offer,
but
I
don't
think
the
biscuits
are
made
in-store,
so
I
was
a
little
disappointed
by
that.
Very
bland
gravy
would
have
been
helped
by
salt
and
pepper,
but
there
was
none
to
be
found.
The
scrambled
eggs
with
my
biscuits
&
gravy
were
nice
and
fluffy.
Oh,
and
better
grab
your
silverware
from
what
looks
like
a
small
server
station
near
the
cash
register,
because
the
wait
staff
looks
at
you
like
they
smell
a
fart
if
you
ask
them
for
a
fork
and
napkins.
Our
bill
total
was
just
under
$71.00
for
3
plates
of
food,
plus
1
hot
tea
and
1
coffee.
Combined
with
the
long
order
line,
the
lack
of
seating,
and
the
bland
food,
I
can't
imagine
I'd
come
back
to
PublicUS.
Obviously,
they
have
something
that
people
like,
because
it's
incredibly
crowded,
but
what
he
had
wasn't
worth
it.
