What a cute, little restaurant this is! Our server was super nice and it felt like home as she kept asking how everything was, and she would even make friendly conversations in Thai. Food was amazing, too! I got Khao Soi (of course I did! I'm from Chiang Mai! Hahaha) and they did NOT disappoint. I also got Nam Tok Nua because we're already eating that type of Thai food, so might as well go all in! This place is one of the few Thai restaurants I recommend for the food (and I'm very picky with my Thai food).

Some yummy Thai food. Try the Tom Yum soup w/ Crispy Pork which has a really great spicy/sour taste. Fried Thai Style Combination rice also a great choice. The Shrimp Spring Rolls were ok, missing a bit of flavor but the Beef Jerky was 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻😀

This restaurant was new to us. What a great discovery! The food was amazing!! We had the fresh spring rolls. Delicious!! We also ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp, and the yellow curry with pork. Both at a level 3 spice. That was just right. Not too hot, but very flavorful. The waitress was delightful and very attentive. If you like Thai food and you’re in Vegas, this is a must!! You’re welcome. 😊

a small place but 10/10 food! i came here again 2 days after my first trip. the first time i got the drunken noodle w a protein choice of chicken. asked for spice level of 5 outta 10, but still struggled real hard and cannot imagine a 10. i love how this noodle dish is very spice driven rather than sauce driven; i felt like every cell of mine was on fire - in the best way possible. i also really enjoyed the load of toppings / veggies in the dish. this might have been my first time seeing a thai noodle dish with the noodle-toppings ratio of 1:1.5. the second time, i got the curry noodle with chicken (a big drumstick) with a spice level of 4. i had to finish it in 3 sittings bc the dish is so rich and spiced but every time i had it, it’s 10/10. i added veggies (tomatoes and cucumbers) into it and made it very refreshing. overall, not-so-chatty but great service and cute vibes :)

Wow! I’ll go out on a limb and say this is the top Thai food in Vegas. Super small place you might not ever notice or look twice at, but incredible taste. Fast and friendly service and fair affordable pricing. Glad google pointed me here and it should do the same for you!

Waitress Oil, chefs Koe and Moo provide very good authentic Thai food with excellent service! Small family style diner with tables and benches and some little tables outside on the street front. Highly recommend the spicy catfish, basil fried rice and the soup! Portions were generous and had food left to take home. This was our first time here, but will be back! Thanks Oil, Koe, and Moo! Great to have you in the community!!

Extremely busy, which is a good sign! Delicious food, clean, friendly, good size portions at a good price! I ordered green curry, husband ginger garlic, with egg roll appetizers 😋

I had lunch here. The food is delicious and the customer service is also phenomenal!!! My friend and I had chicken wings and coconut shrimp for appetizers. For our entrees we had spicy coconut curry level 6 and chicken pad Thai no spice. The presentation was great and the taste matched it. The inside of the restaurant is not very big. Also the parking is in the back of the restaurant. It can be a little confusing when it’s your first time going. The curry only had a few pieces of chicken in it. The server notice that my friend didn’t eat that much of her curry, not because it wasn’t good but she wanted more chicken. The server offered to give her more chicken or a different protein free of charge. She went above and beyond. They also have a hidden menu here, phenomenal!!! I had a piece of cheesecake topped with raspberry topping for dessert. It was a descent size slice and and it tasted good.

I got the drunken noodles and spice level 10 and it was absolutely amazing. I’m someone that can handle my spice and this really satisfied me. Also the drunken noodles and Tom yum was absolutely amazing and mind blowing. Best Thai place I ever had in America so far, considering I come from Asia it’s really good even by Asian standards.

Love the drunken noodles and the kao soy. It's not 5 stars because the dine in place is tiny and it's hard to find parking. And they don't offer free water now you have to pay for bottled water.

This. Place. Is. Delicious. I have a close family member that spent 4 years in Asia and a year in Thailand. He said this was the best Khaosoy he has ever had in Vegas, and he has been living here for over 30 years. I personally got the chicken salad and it was amazing. I feel like my eyes have been opened and I can see into the future like Doctor Strange. I will enjoy my powers and I hope you can too. Also, this is the definition of authentic Thai food, and overall, I 100% recommend this to anyone. PLEASE HERE IF NOT YOUR MISSING OUT.

Amazing service, super quality food! Fully recommended! The lady was the best asking us: how spicy u want red curry? In a scale from 1 to 10. Simply ❤️❤️❤️ 😄😄🤩🤩

Great little gem of a small Thai joint. They've got a few tables, with air conditioning. It's quant, cute and clean. The dishes are traditional but have a few wild card specials. I had a medium spicy Thai green curry that was pretty hot and a bit salty but still very delicious. Thai tea was great too. It's also nice that they have their own parking lot. The waitress was attentive and friendly. All in all, two thumbs up!

We spent a couple nights in Vegas and were looking for good Thai food off the strip or Fremont street. So happy we found D E Thai! Larb Salad was so good! The food was fantastic and service was awesome. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

We were looking at all sorts of different options for dinner and we stumbled on DE Thai and we sure are glad we did. One of the best Thai we have ever had, the spring rolls were fresh with fragrant basil and mint with shrimp and a delicious peanut sauce. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken and a 7 spice, if you are wary of spices err on the side of fewer stars, as this was fairly spicy. My wife got the drunken noodles and the noodles were prepared perfectly with fresh vegetables and basil, the flavors were umami and a perfect blend of different Thai spices. We did takeout of the mango rice which was stellar, we fought over it 😂 The service was amazing, our server took excellent care of us, with some suggestions. The restaurant is small with about 6 tables, we had no wait but be advised there isn’t much room there. Very clean and cozy. We loved it, no loud music blaring, we were able to talk. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Vegas.

My new go-to downtown Thai spot! The food is sooooo good! It’s a small place, but the service and food were splendid!

This restaurant was incredible and we’ll be back again! We ordered the Thai basil stir fry with chicken - spice level 4 and Pad Kee Mao/Drunken noodles with beef - spice level 3. Wish there was more seating, but this place is a perfect for a quick casual meal. The prices are great for the amount of food and quality. Everything tasted authentic and very flavorful. The meat was so tender and juicy. The spice levels are probably spicier than most other restaurants, so I would be cautious. Our server estimated medium was around 3-4 and it was on point with my preference of spice (I like medium to medium hot). They also offer more authentic dishes so I can’t wait to come back and try more.

Loved this place! Just spent several days living on conference/resort food while working at an event. I almost cried when I finally got to eat real food.

D.E Thai never disappoints! The Tom Yum fried rice has become my favorite. It has a little kick to it but not too much to where it's not enjoyable. The shrimps are pretty big, but you will have to pull the tails off. We also got the drunken noodles with chicken, lots of flavor. This is one of the best thai place I've eaten at.

I want to Give A million 🌟This Place is Amazing! The Food was so good my mom and I ate there 3days in a row during our Vegas Trip, The Spicy Catfish is delicious, the Basil Fried Rice is original! Our Server was so kind and awesome. My new favorite place for whenever I'm back to Vegas!

5 brothers ordered 6 dishes. We all got 3 out of 10 spicy. I got Tom yum. We shared fried bananas, which are bananas in fried spring rolls with ice cream. The food was the best Thai food I have ever had. It is a tiny restaurant that seats probably 18 people which is great ambiance as far as I'm concerned. The waitress was super sweet. Excellent.

I’ve been ordering from here weekly because the food is just that good. As a pescatarian, there are tons of options and they will modify dishes for you. I really like how they prepare their fried tofu. Can’t get enough of their drunken noodles! The atmosphere is cozy, I like it. Service is always friendly!

Small “hole in the wall”. It’s a clean restaurant with great food. They have great curry and chicken plates with tons of flavor. Level 3 is the perfect spice level.

A fun little hideaway out in plain sight right there on 3rd Street. Unique preparation of Thai food but somebody who knows what they're doing. Cozy atmosphere makes for fun dining. Hope you're lucky to catch our server Jesse

The authentic Thai food restaurant i have eaten in the U.S. Pad Thai is so delicious but tea and sticky rice are sweet (for me). Nice staff.

I’ve past this place a few times and finally stopped at ate here. I’m so glad I did. This place is delicious and the service was excellent! I got the yellow curry with shrimp, chicken wings, roti and Thai iced tea. Usually when I get Thai iced tea it’s so sweet but here it was perfect.

It has been my husband and I’s third time within a week! Our first time here together, he was looking for papaya salad and beef larb that he can measure up to what we were used to back home. We can attest, they did not disappoint. Now, here we are, trying everything else on the menu!

I took a young family member for her first Thai food experience. I wish I could say it was an exemplary experience, but I can not. Luckily, as it was her first time, she did not have another experience to compare it to. The food was okay , but not out of this world. I have definitely had better. On a positive note, the service was fast. Not overly friendly, but fast, which was important to us as we were on our way to the theatre. On the downside....and technically NOT their fault... we did see a big rat just outside the door as we exited. Rats are all over; however, it was a bit worrisome since it was so close to the restaurant and where you see one.....

Thank you Jennie,I had a good lunch at this Restaurant at Art district. She has been very kind to offer me Thai coffee and tea to try. Thanks for her excellent service on my visit. No hesitation to come again to try other dishes. The jasmine rice is great.

Super cute little spot with fantastic food and great service! I had garlic ginger seafood, and it was excellent! I asked for spice level 8/10 and it was exactly what I wanted. My companion had Pad Thai spice level 3/10, and he was very happy with his dish. Great taste and inexpensive for Las Vegas!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! The food is SO DELICIOUS especially their Pad See Ew and chicken satay and their Thai iced tea was PERFECT. So happy I came here on my last day working in Vegas. You seriously won’t regret trying this place out!

Tucked away in a quiet part of Las Vegas, D E Thai Kitchen takes care of your craving for savory, spicy Thai food. Pictured is their Tom Yum fried rice at spice level 5 out of 10. Also, their sweet and milk-rich Thai ice tea is a must!

Perhaps one of the best places I've been for Thai food. Add in the price point and service and it's more than a five star review. Small venue, casual, perfect for a quick dinner for two. Or takeout for more. The detail they put to each of the dishes is on par with much more expensive venues.

Short: amazing taste, pretty picturesque. Long: Among the many times I've been to Vegas, this was the best find (so far). Crab Rangoons and Kao Soi we're amazing. Want to try Chicken Satay next. A bonus for Instagrammers, all dishes look pretty good behind a camera.

Very pleasant surprise. Amazing quality & variety of food coming out of such a small layout. Had the Isan Sausage plate & Thai Fried Rice with crispy pork (yummy) & found everything to be very tasty & made with fresh ingredients. As a first-time visitor, only went mild on the heat but will likely bump it up a notch on next visit. Only nit - parking is pretty much non-existent in this area (not DE's fault).

Must try this Thai restaurant. I am Thai and I confirm their authentic Thai foods. Pad See Ew and Koa Soi and the Chicken and Drunken noodles all are great!

  • 5/5 Maurice S. 1 year ago on Google
Randomly came across this restaurant while walking around the arts district and since I hadn't had any Thai food or been to Thailand in years, I figured I'd give them a try, I had the chicken satay (for protein) and some ny cheese cake (for my gluttony). Service was friendly and fantastic, great vibe and atmosphere and just a really good spot to chow down. 2 thumbs up.
