I never thought I would have to give a casino cafe a bad review especially, this one. Stay away from the cafe no matter how hungry you are. The food had no seasoning, the meat and home potato fries were bland. My sister ordered pasta and we brought it home to our dog. I should have got the hint when there was almost nobody else in the restaurant other than the employees. On top of that, the waitress brought our food and never came back to ask if we needed anything else and she forgot my Coke. I had to track down a bunch of employees huddle in front of the register talking, right next to us and, have them, find my waitress. None of them offered to help me even tho they were doing nothing but standing around having private and personal conversations that I did not want to hear about. No seasoning on prime rib or home potatoes, um No! They did have a bunch of desserts and they did look yummy but after the aftertaste in my mouth from the nasty food I couldn't have anything else. Don't say my review did not warn y'all. Oh, I forgot the Calamari was delicious.

From the start we had to wait quite a while (no appointment) - gambled a bit to pass the time. After we were seated our waiter seemed to be extremely busy (to many tables). The food was served in an acceptable time. Everything tasted OK - our burgers were either well prepared or too dry (at least fries were good). While eating we noticed, that the room was very loud and it was difficult to understand each other - many people talking, echoing acoustics and the sounds of the casino. In the end I was baffled that our waiter just brought the bill without asking if we are finished. I initially wanted to order a dessert afterwards but was told that they donโ€™t have โ€œpieโ€ - the โ€œMud Pieโ€ is clearly featured on their dessert menu online. In a nutshell, a mixed experience.

Went to Lucky Penny to celebrate my birthday with 3 good friends. I made a reservation online and we sat on the patio. Great atmosphere outside. The food was great and reasonably priced. Our waitress Amanda was so nice and efficient. Overall, Lucky Penny at Red Rock is recommended and I will return again for sure.

Service for food delivery at the bar is incredibly slow regardless of time (I've hit all three traditional meal times). But when I sit at a table, food is delivered very quickly. Not sure why the difference.

5-4-2022 Ordered carryout. Service was great. -French Onion Salisbury Steak: This would've been tastier if it weren't so salty. The gravy, mashed potatoes, sourdough bread and Salisbury steak were all very salty. Steak was slightly chewy. People probably love this after a night of drinking. The broccoli offsets then saltiness. Would've been nice if the bread and potatoes were less salty to balance the meal.

We lucked out at the Lucky Penny. We went to the Red Rock Casino for lunch and entertainment. It was a little too late for lunch but too early for dinner. A few of the restaurants we tried to dine at werenโ€™t open yet so we had to choose here. It turned out to be wonderful because everyone was extremely happy with their meal. I ordered the seafood chowder in the bread bowl. It was delicious. They have a great assortment of elevated diner dishes. We ordered a few baked goods from the bakery on our way out. So yummy.

Came here for brunch and was pleasantly surprised by the yummy options. I went with the lucky three way which in my opinion is the best value. You get 3 eggs, sausage and hash-browns and on top of that 3 pancakes. Very filling and delicious. We also got the tickets grilled cheese with a tomato bisque.

Lucky Penny gives you the feeling that you're in a 5-star restaurant but wait it's a cafe?... ๐Ÿ˜„ good food, generous portions, my server was above and beyond fantastic. Treated like a high roller from entry to exit. Everyone is amazing ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

We had two turkey dinners including mashed potatoes, gravy, yams, green beans and pumpkin cheesecake. Most of it was proper temperature except stuffing not too warm. Our server was quick and pleasant. Upgraded cafe with bling, paintings, fabric drapery and fresh flowers.

The Fresh Freesias on the table were the icing on the cake. We had an early morning weekend shopping day in Downtown Summerlin and Best Buy electronics, topped off by brunch at Red Rock Hotel's Lucky Penny Restaurant. Delicious food, reasonably priced, and a gorgeous presentation on the table and in amenities. For coffee fans, they bring a cup and a small stainless coffee pot for the table. I decided to also try the Cappuccino. Simply perfect. We chose to sit outside on the patio seating this Saturday morning, which is a great Fall weather option. I must say, the location, food, and presentation were all wonderful, but I do believe the very best part of being there was the staff. They were so personable, good-natured, smiling, and obviously enjoyed being there. It was almost as if we had 3 wait staff! They frequented the table and chatted with us for a moment here and there to check on us. We tipped them double the norm for a brunch/lunch - 20%. They were that good.

Open 24/7 with amazingly tasty food and very reasonably priced. I was impressed especially because eating on the strip has become notoriously expensive. Everything was cooked perfectly and had lots of flavor popping. Make sure to ask your server for their recommendation.

It was really refreshing to eat a good, hearty breakfast in the $15 range at a resort restaurant. LV Strip hotels/casino dining options have become notorious for serving skimpy plates with mediocre quality, so this was a pleasant surprise. I'd definitely return to try something on the lunch or dinner menu.

Super comfy and the service was wonderful. The Food came out fast and was delicious and in HUGE portions! Definitely enough to bring back to the room for a late night meal.

Great cafe, food is good and service is always nice. Best part for me is that they give you a whole pot of coffee when you order it.

45+ minutes to get bowl of soup and salad, terrible service. Soup looked and tasted like Italian spagetti sauce, told them they forgot the meat balls and spagetti, they didn't like that. Salad was ok, wasn't worth the wait of 45+ minutes... on a weekend they need more servers and more cooks.

Avoid this restaurant I ordered the chicken strips with Buffalo sauce and my daughter ordered loaded Nachos. It took 40 min for the food to arrive. The chicken was undercooked which I didn't realize till after i had already eaten 1 of the strips and it was brought to the attention of the hostess she offered to remove it from the bill like if she was doing us a favor this prompted casino security to arrive to fill out paperwork which added another 30 min to an already exhausting dinner. The nachos were very bland and the fake cheese spread over the top was disgusting. To the owner don't apologize just fix this restaurant before someone gets really sick.

Very nice greeting and immediate seating; prompt, excellent service by waiter and both gentlemen helping him. My husband was delighted with his Turkey Club Sandwich! Our guests loved the salmon and roasted vegetables! My soup of the day was perfect for me. Thank you Lucky Penny!๐Ÿ˜Š

Located inside Red-rock Casino Met a client here for lunch. Carl our server was friendly and attentive giving us update on food status. What we ordered: 1.) Lucky Penny burger with fries. My client said it was cooked correctly and the fries were tasty. 2.) Chicken Tenders with Blue Cheese mild spice. The Tenders were not overly breaded and moist on inside of chicken they tasted great. Not bad at all for a Casino Cafe.

Came here this past Sunday. First time in along time since it was called the Grande Cafe. My husband and I checked it out online and wanted to see what the menu was like because a long time friend of mine was coming into town to visit. First off the servers were sweet. We ordered our food. 1st My husbands burger was amazing, 2nd the tomatoes soup with the pennini grill cheese was delicious my daughter ate that, my other daughter ordered the chicken Parmesan -unfortunately the chicken was hard to cut through, the sauce tasted like spaghetti-Os from the can of CHEF BOY-RD. Spaghettis were over cooked. She wasnโ€™t happy. She didnโ€™t eat it all only tasted it. I then ordered the Brick Chicken well it was hard like a brick couldnโ€™t cut through it same as my daughters chicken Parmesan. As for my friends and her husbands order were ok. Donโ€™t get me wrong the brick chicken had a good seasoning taste. But it was not tender. Chicken should be tender. I give it a 2star. It can be better. I hope. I really like this place. Itโ€™s comfortable but need some extra love on the food. Thank you.

It was pretty good. And, a nice clean environment. The server was great, and the manager checked in on us. The deserts were also solid.

Yogurt and granola, cast iron cinnamon roll, and dirty chai. All top notch.

The ladies there were so nice. Great service. The food is for senior citizens. It is all frozen and cheaply prepared. Nothing is prepared fresh here. The hostess actually laughed at me when I asked her what was good there.

I would have given them 4 stars the crust on the cinnamon roll was burnt. I told the server and the cashier but nothing. I don't expect every meal to be perfect but I do expect them to fix their mistakes if they want me to come back, recommend them, and give a better tip. I would have given 20% or more on the original total if it was fixed. While we may stay at Red Rock again, we won't be eating at Lucky Penny again.
