😐 The food here is amazing! And if you are in the area and have never tried Soul Food this is the place. I had the Chicken & Waffles and it was the best I have ever had. The other food is also great! I gave them -2 stars for the bad service. The service can be hit or miss here. We received our food in... People often mention good, chicken, fried,

The other food is also great! I gave them -2 stars for the bad service. The service can be hit or miss here. We received our food in around 20 minutes, the table of 5 next to us that ordered after we did walked out after not receiving their food after waiting over an hour. If they can get some experienced servers in there, it is a 5 Star Restaurant.

Service extremely slow because they had my waitress doing 3 jobs. The sausage on Red Beans was good and so was the catfish, plus the lemonade was amazing! My waffle was thin like a sheet of paper and cold, the chicken wings weren't seasoned, the grits weren't seasoned but the shrimp and peppers were decent. Soul Food should be perfectly seasoned, this was more someone cooking for the first time. You guys can do better, the food/restaurant has potential to be great.

Food LOOKS good but taste the complete opposite. It has little to no flavor. All the sides were room temperature. Gravy tasted like a it had a nice portion of seasoning salt in it. I wouldn't return.

My first experience was not the best. It wasn't busy but yet it took 20 mins or more for us to be seated (party of 3). My first mistake was ordering non soul food item at a soul food restaurant. I ordered shrimp and grits $13 or 15 bucks and it was not worth it. I had to get up and go to the counter to ask for a refill. Customer service nor food was what I expected.

Food was good and wait staff could be more timely in their services. But over all it was a good visit. Just remember to read the sign "There's a 20-45 minute wait on any friedy food". Please be patient.

(9/21)..Ok why did we leave still hungry? Let me tell you the food was below average. I mean come on Chef how can you undercook Thin pieces of fried catfish.. it was so slimy underneath a nicely coated crunchy batter (i give them that much).. we were told by the waitress the oxtails were fall off the bone tender uhh yea one of the pieces were but the rest were tough..hard to chew tough... the mac & cheese , fried okra and fried chicken were the only things that hit average and trust me the hot sauce helped. The yams were likely from a can with extra sugar added to mask this I mean hello diabetes in a bowl some of that sugar should have been in the sweet tea... 4 of us thought it was not sweetened... the mashed potatoes & potato salad ughh what! Sorry i lost words.. for the benefit Maybe there was a sub chef that day or maybe he was under the weather but please get it together, Vegas needs a good soul food spot. Check the utensils we had to ask for plastic dishes were dirty ughhh.. I informed them that I should not be charged for the raw catfish (this is not a sushi spot)so they charged me for the 3 sides and my drink which basically knock the bill down maybe 5 bucks sorry but not sorry m&m.

Food is very good, and I would have given it a 5 stars but they have to fix that air conditioning. It's 107 degrees out here today. But I still was sitting in there eat... so that says something. My husband love the oxtails. I would love to go back and try the pork chops and rice and gravy.

I actually was in the mood for chicken and waffles. The M&M Soul Food Cafe on Valley View and Charleston is currently closed for renovations so I went to this location on the strip. I ordered the chicken and waffles with a side of cheese grits. The chicken came out juicy and hot. The hot sauce is the perfect complement for the chicken. The waffles were a little over done which is the reason why I didn't give this five stars. Overall the staff was nice and the food was good. I will be back to try out other items offered on their menu.

Food was tasty! Can get busy, so as they sign says fried food may take 25-45 minutes. Our food about 15. Their cornbread comes with your meal and yum! Catfish was done right, cornbread stuffing delish, fried chicken was crisp and flavored right. Red beans and rice was a little bland, nothing pepper and sauce won't take care of.

We enjoyed some smothered pork chops, greens, cabbage, yams, kool-aid lemonade, fried green tomatoes and peach cobbler. Reminds me of my Aunties house. Not as good as my Momma's but just as good as one of her younger sisters! Lol! Both me and my sister agreed. The music selection definitely enhanced the feeling of being back home in Nashville with a strong selection jazz and R & B.

Bring your eating game when coming here. We had liver & onions and meatloaf- both with gravy. The three sides that came with them were hearty portions. The waitresses were super friendly and the sweet tea is PERFECT! We will definitely be back here. Wowwwwwww! 💜💜💙💙

The wait was a little long but it was worth it. Fried chicken, greens, homemade mac n cheese, & red beans n rice cooked Mississippi Style. I will definitely return on my next trip to Vegas.
