Strip plaza restaurant. Not many tables and they were crowded on a Monday afternoon. Most if not all the customers looked like local Asians which speaks for it's authenticity. I ordered Hainanese Chicken , curry chicken, pork knuckles and the wonton noodle soup. The service was friendly and the food came out fast. The Hainanese chicken was on point. It had lots of meat, the rice was flavorful and came with 3 sauces. The only thing missing was the chicken broth soup. The curry check was good and so was the pork knuckles. The wonton noodle soup was excellent. The broth was superb and wonton were filled with porky goodness. Very delicate texture with a very moist texture. Prices were reasonable ranging from $7 to $15. I would definitely dine here again.

Ordered take outs. Delicious. Went back again for dine in. The ginger chicken, broccoli with oyster sauce, wanton noodle soup, and congee are delicious. Check it out...they use bowls from England!! The chef took the time to trim the stem of the Chinese broccoli...rendering it more tender.

At the new Shanghai Plaza in Las Vegas Chinatown. The wonton soup is one of the best that I've had. They are shrimp & pork wonton. The Hainan chicken is also one of their top sellers. Fyi though, they're served cold. So, if you're but into cold food in your plate, you've been warned! :) It's good though. Really flavorful.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 88 Noodle Papa, and I must say, I was blown away by the food. As someone who has lived in New York City and now resides in Tampa, Florida, I've had my fair share of Asian cuisine, but 88 Noodle Papa's Hong Kong-style dishes were on another level. My group and I ordered Fish Congee, preserved Egg and pork congee, Hainan Chicken rice with the dark meat addon, and braised pork knuckle. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The congee was a standout - it was so authentic and delicious that it brought back memories of the fantastic congee I used to have in NYC. The Hainan chicken was also delicious, and the braised pork knuckle was a real treat. Overall, I highly recommend 88 Noodle Papa to anyone who appreciates authentic and delicious Asian cuisine. Don't knock it until you try it~ this restaurant is a must visit when you come to Vegas!

Food is super authentic and tasty, I would definitely come back. The only complaint is the porttion is really small. If you eat a lot, probably need to order more, and its not cheap here.

Noodles soup are good, portions a little small for the price you pay. Quite good if you’re looking for something soothing.

I've been coming here for a long time and I was appalled about the charging practice they are employed now. This shows unethical practice in pricing and in deceptive billing. With group of 4, we ordered 2 wonton soup and one with substitute rice noodles. A shrimp fried rice, a special salted chicken and pork knuckles. Not only they started charging $3 for change noodle type ( not adding, but charging noodle type) now they charged $9 "convenience charge. I didn't see this until I left the restaurant. They used to be friendly restaurants and food was great. Now I think the new ownership only focus on money and they don't really care about their reputation! Do not go there, instead, go to Asian BBQ on Jones (Cash Only). Better food and passable services. Do no come to this overpriced place.

Delicious beef noddles but the flavor has nothing special. It is just a regular beef noodles lol. Besides, their service is not pretty good.

Update: came here last night with a friend. We ordered: 1.) Hunan Chicken & Rice. We both enjoyed especially because they de-bone the chicken great move by the kitchen 👍🏻 2.) Crab Rangoon nice fried 3.) Citrus Honey tea nice on cold days. Parking lot has spaces but is very busy. Took my Bosses here and they liked everything! We ordered Steamed Ginger Chicken, combination bowl #7, Wonton soup, Chinese Porridge, Salted Steam Chicken, Jelly fish appetizer and pickled Zucchini. Nicely seasoned and very tasty.

Came here specifically for the hainanese chicken rice but also ordered other items. The hainanese chicken is really good but the rice is lacking a bit of flavor. The garlic scallion oil sauce is also very good. The wonton noodles was good as well. The laksa was okay.

Hainanese chicken and curry laksa is so good. HK style milk tea is ok, Service was good, and the waiter spoke Cantonese. recommending this restaurant.

I ordered dumpling noodle soup and milk tea. Noodle is good. The dumpling is okay. And milk tea is good. I will give another try for other dishes like chicken rice.

Best Hainanese chicken in town. Boneless and tender. Coconut rice needs a little more olive oil to make it perfect. Otherwise, just enjoy.

Service was okay. We were served one main dish much earlier than the other, which was unexpected and not a good vibe overall. First dish was getting cold by the time the fried rice was being served. In my opinion, the Mongolian beef Chow mein I ordered was lacking in flavor. The other dishes we ordered were ok, but also somewhat lacking in flavor. The dining area was bright, and had a small cafeteria feel. Very casual.

Absolutely incredible food! I would drive 4 hours from my house just to come here. By far the most delicious soup I’ve ever had. If you get a hangover while in vegas you have to come here, their pork and shrimp won ton noodle soup will cure your soul. The broth was so flavorful and not too salty, the noodles were cooked to perfection still nice and springy and the shrimp wontons were nice and bouncy. I can’t wait to come back here next trip!

Fast and absolutely delicious - small but authentic. I had the chicken with noodles and a super delicious broth. My family had shrimp wonton soup. also drinks here are good to order. Highly recommend.

Fast and absolutely delicious. I had the chicken with noodles and a super delicious broth. My girlfriend had shrimp wonton soup. I ordered a side of spicy cucumber which was delicious. She ordered a jellyfish it's not yet eaten but brought home for later. Highly recommend.

Decent food and service. The wonton noodle soup was good. Recommended. I was not a big fan of the sezhuang beef noodle soup.

Amazing food! Had the Haiwanese chicken rice dish. It is probably one of the best I’ve ever had! The other must get is the wonton soup. Large and flavorful wontons! And the fried garlic and salt squid was so good. We ordered three plates because it was fried so well.

Another highly recommended cafe. Very authentic HK wonton noodle, hainanese chicken rice and beef noodle soup. Very tasty and delicious.

I ordered the seafood with Udon noodles in spicy sauce and I was heavily disappointed that the seafood was from processed imitation meats. The broth wasn't spicy and I didn't enjoy it because the ingredients was getting stuck behind my throat, causing me to cough the entire time. I don't recommend this soup.

The best Hainanese Chicken and rice. Also the wonton noodles and clear beef brisket rice noodle soup. Clean spot and tasty!

Omggg I haven’t had Hainan chicken and rice in years and this definitely hit the spot. The ginger dipping was 🤌🏻👌🏻👏🏻. The curry fishball was also great. Authentic place for Cantonese/hk cuisine. Food came in just a few minutes great place for a quick lunch/dinner.

  • 5/5 Alexis L. 2 years ago on Google
I wanted to come here because of the jellyfish and curry fishballs. Found out they did the chicken rice. Everything was great. I really like the HK milk tea, its not sweet but they give you sugar cube on the side to add for your sweetness.
