Awesome thrill! It is not a free-fall but there is a ton of adrenaline that goes through you just jumping off the ledge. Our kids (17 & 18) and wife & I did this and all thoroughly loved it. We saw one person ahead of us chicken out. They have two people check your harness down below and two other people up top - super safe.

It was a slow day so my dad and I were able to pretty much walk right up and jump immediately. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind, and did so many safety checks to make sure we were all good. The jump itself was exhilarating, and was only scary for the first three seconds. After the fear, you were able to really soak in the beauty! We jumped at night so the lights were incredible. Definitely worth the trip!

Absolutely fantastic experience - a must for any thrill seekers visiting Vegas! Was definitely a great way to celebrate a birthday. The pricing is very reasonable given the activity; locals get amazing discounts (alongside the thrill rides at the top as well). The staff from the ticket counter to the top platform were all very nice and helpful. Once you are at the SkyJump 'HQ' expect to wait half an hour or so depending on how many people are doing the jump and they will get you into the gear, etc. You will take the elevators up to the restaurant/inside seating area.

This attraction with Insanity are the most scariest ride in Las Vegas by far! This is just off the most extreme and bravest riders. Just to give you an idea: the jumping platform is at the 109 floor of the Strat (old Stratosphere) and it consist of a free jump (bungee jumping style) from the deck, but instead of jump and bouncing back like in the bungee, you will fall to the ground attached to a line that will control the falling speed. It’s basically like “jumping out of the window” l🤯 The views from the deck are impressive and jumping at the day or night is the same scary and intimidating feeling. If you like extreme experiences, this is for you ;0) 100% recommended if you dare…

Heck yeah jump 850 feet off a building pretty cool very safe for and adrenaline junkie great view and a scary ride or two right over the edge of the top of the building great experience but the jump was 130 dollars or so basically 10 dollars a second took about 14 seconds to get to the ground at about 45 pm I'm guessing

If you have sky dived before, this would be nothing to you. Just the first few seconds where you stand on the yellow line and actually take the leap are scary. But once you jump off, it's all fun and enjoying the view. I had Erin at the top, who was really nice and kept talking to me so I wouldn't get scared! Once you are at the yellow line, and at the end of the countdown, all you have to do is let go of your hands and it will pull back and release you. You can jump off if you like to. But no one would push you. Like they say, it's 'sky jump' not 'sky push'. Make sure you get the video and also not forget to record the city around you. They also have a viewing deck outside so you can record the jumpers.

If you’re an adrenaline junky, a thrill seeker, or just someone wanting to prove to your friends that you can be adventurous... look no further than the SkyJump at the Strat. This experience was incredible. It’s a load of fun and definitely gets the blood pumping and the heart racing, but comes with an amazing view of the Vegas strip. Safety standards were top notch. I was checked 4 times before the jump itself to make sure my harness was properly fitted. At the top when you’re hooked into the cables, two people are double checking to make sure everything is properly hooked up. They don’t give you much of a chance to chicken out because once you’re in position, they count down and you go. This is good for some because you don’t have to make an active jump yourself, it’s basically done for you. The people were friendly, the experience amazing, and I never felt unsafe. The price is on the high side, but some things you really don’t want to be cheap. This isn’t your county fair tilt-a-whirl so you’re not going to be paying carnival prices. The high quality experience is accompanied by a price that demands quality. To me though, the value is definitely there. Highly recommended for a Vegas trip!

Really nice jump. Don’t go with expectation to be a free fall and then you will love it. Do take video package else ask your friends or family to stand at bottom and take your video but its worth still to take video as it will cover initial seconds of your jump. Dont look down too much if you are scared of height. Jump when they say 123 go. Dont overthink at all. You will feel safe moment you jump as cables will control your fall.

Be careful and plan your trip carefully. They canceled our reservation due to weather conditions but no one was available to get a refund, as the next day we had to leave by noon and they opened by 2pm. Workers there said nothing can be done ad skyjump is a separate thing in the hotel. So we are scammed out of $170 that we won't be able to get a refund. Extremely disappointing. Won't be returning to this hotel.

We came to Vegas JUST FOR THIS.... my daughter and her friend wanted to do this before he left for 3 years.. she had turned 18 the day before and we were from out of town-very long distance. I had a picture of her license on my phone but they wouldn't let her go...quoting "legal issues"!! Hilarious!! It was disgusting that they ripped this opportunity from her without considering what she went through to get here. The manager just wanted a power struggle. Zero resolution straight attack. Absolutely horrible customer service which if you read through the comments... it's a regular occurrence. I could have lied and said oh she's 17 and been just fine!! I even have power of attorney over my daughter and they wouldn't let her go!! Absolutely insane!

I flew from NC to California. Drove here, parked at the mgm. Walked dang near 3 miles to do the sky jump that I paid for ahead of time only for them to tell me that there doing something with the lights and to come back tomorrow. I can't come back tomorrow!!! All the workers were staring and laughing at me amongst themselves because I was crying because I really wanted to knock this off my bucket list. I felt belittled and embarrassed. Literally fly back home tomorrow morning. Then my refund won't hit back on my card until 5 business days. These people are not professional at all and they never have to worry about me or my money and I will be telling friends to tell friends. This ride is the only reason why I'm in Vegas.

This is a must try attraction if you are visiting Sin city. I was pretty scary from top I would admit that I was chickening as you can see in my non edit video lol I have posted me crying and backing out although I had jumped 12,000ft from the sky a day before this skyjump but I was crying like 855ft was way too much anyway it was amazing not scary at all once she did the countdown and the jumping cable started pulling upwards, it was like the cable basically helped with the jump and rest was just super fun and easy fall great experience. Cost about $133 plus handcam was like $37. Booking in advance is always recommended because of full packed schedule and yeah they can close it at anytime due to weather but as soon as the sky clears up or wind stops they open it call and let you know if you have an appointment that it's open. If they don't open and end up leaving Vegas, they will refund the whole thing. I have posted the skypod experience too just to show how tall and up high it was and also skypod experience is also a ticket thing like $25 it was I can't remember. Also if you have a family member with you while you are there to jump, they will let them go on the landing deck. I have posted a vidoe of that as well.

Must do experience. This is the second time participating, and it was even better. Staff so professional and safety minded. Shout out to Jeanette, Jose and Yamik, for being so nice and accommodating. Please have a reservation ahead of time, and arrive on time. This is one of the best excursions to do in Vegas. Recommend.

Maybe I'm too much of an adrenaline junkie but this very expensive experience was NOT WORTH IT. It felt like I was moving in slow motion. Not nearly the fun experience I was hoping for. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Additionally one of the men up top in charge of some of the most important safety measures was complaining how he was overworked and wanted to leave very plainly in front of first time jumpers. Not very confidence inspiring. ADDITIONALLY if you're asked of any health information, deny everything. We had a party member very honestly reveal they have blood pressure "on the lower side of normal". Because of this statement she's now black listed from ever doing this very lame activity. I suppose it's for the best. At least we can say most of our party completed this "Guinness world record breaking experience". As a first time Las Vegas visitor I recommend you choose to spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. A $130 drink would have been more worthwhile.

This was fun. I don’t think you ever hit complete free fall but it’s still pretty fast. I was able to get next day tickets (which were sold out on the official website) through the website, tiqets, for the same price so I recommend that if you can’t find a time slot. I also recommend against the photo package: the photos are before you jump, not of you in flight.

Reservations were required by go city all inclusive pass. No courtesy email cancellation early on the day of the activity or at least a day before since they mentioned it was windy the day before as well. Too many employees in the area who seems like they are not doing anything. I don't understand why you can't shoot a simple email or even a call to your customers. Strat is way far from the strip so for us to be travelling all the way there is such a waste. Reservation system is useless. Lady at the desk promise a refund but no refund happened since we booked it from groupon. She also mentioned it should be easy getting all the arrangements since she did not scan the pass yet. Definitely not worth the inconvenience and stress.

What a blast! I have a severe fear of heights and as part of facing my fears have done parachute & bungee jumps before. Despite this I was still really afraid, and therefore very reassured by the whole crew for their very thorough approach. Timothy harnessed me up, very careful and methodical in his approach and a genuinely lovely guy, I'm hoping he is recognised for this. After being weighed, then taken up to the top we were handed over to another crew, again a great and professional bunch. More checks of weight and harness before clear instructions about the jump process. A safety harness is attached before the exterior door opens, then a main jump cable attached before the safety is removed, making it impossible to be outside and not connected to a safety line. A second main cable attached to the harness before assuming the position, 3, 2, 1 and jump! Pretty fast drop but controlled, with guide lines left and right, so impossible to move in the wind, all helping me feel super-safe. Timothy was waiting to greet me, high fives all around... I loved doing this and when we're back in the US from Wales again, I'll definitely be doing this again, despite my wife thinking I'm crazy... I pointed out that statistically this is the safest thing either of us did all holiday. :o)

Im going to start off by saying I felt ok going up. Once I was up there I was dead set on NOT jumping. Christian had me and walked me through the jump. There was not yelling, screaming, forcing me to jump, nothing. He was kind and patient, exactly what I need. It was totally opposite from what I saw on YouTube. I ended up going down backwards which made the jump easier. They literally hoisted me over the platform and let go. Your stomach doesn't go into your chest. Its a controlled jump so it was good. After the first 5 seconds it was totally enjoyable! Highly recommend.

If i could zero stars i would! The customer service was terrible! Me and my fiancé were suppose to jump together. She went before me. It’s been a hard year for us. Lost my grandmother and had a cancer scare. It’s my 30th birthday so why not do something to feel Something you know. But back to my fiancé. Everything seemed fine until she got to the top. Of course she was scared and took a little longer to jump. While watching her on the tv screen in the waiting area the workers started talking bad about her and how they treat customer who are scared to jump. Mind you they have no idea what we been through this year. Or why we are doing this. While my fiancé was up there she said the workers were so rude to her! I have video footage of the workers talking bad about customers. It was so sad. I actually ended up canceling my jump because i don’t want anyone talking about me. It’s already been a hard year. Fighting cancer and losing my grandmother to cancer. I really want to do this but because of how bad these workers talked about the customer made me want to change my Mind!!! I wish i could include the video footage of these works talking about the scared jumpers. So unprofessional! And rude. My fiancé was so scared and didn’t feel safe because the workers were rushing her and basically saying they will cancel her jump. She said the worst 171.00 ever spent!

Although a bit expensive for a 25-30 second jump, this was an awesome experience that I would recommend most people try at least once. I would also recommend getting the jump + video to see you whole reaction from going onto the platform outside, to the jump down. The staff were super friendly and although I'm scared of heights, they made me feel safe and secure. 4 different people checked my harness. 2 people downstairs and 2 people upstairs. The scariest part was when i was getting hooked up outside on the platform and made the mistake of looking down. After they connect you to the machine and you stand on the edge, they count down and i recommend you just jump, it's honestly not that bad! The first 2-3 seconds were terrifying, but the rest of the way down was very enjoyable and you get a great view! If you were unsure of whether or not it's worth it or safe, I'd personally say to give it a go!

This is the most fun and freeing experience. I felt safe and confident. The staff guided us on what to do and the entire process. I would do it again. But now it’s officially checked of my bucket list.

It’s a fun experience, but not exactly a freefall. There’s definitely some friction and it feels like a fast repel down. It’s easier to jump than I thought because there is tension in the cable holding you before you jump or step over the edge. The fall gets you going about 45 mph, and then stops you pretty abruptly towards the very bottom. I also noticed that you have to prepare to hit the concrete and actually absorb some of the movement with your legs. I saw one older gentleman kind of trip forward when he actually reached the landing point… so just prepare for that and keep your legs at the ready. I was a bit concerned about neck and back sensitivity, and I think there’s a little bit of jarring motion throughout, but overall it was fairly comfortable. The harness is very secure, the jumpsuit kept me at a comfortable temperature, and even with the wind rushing by I didn’t need glasses or anything and I could see and enjoy the descent.

Expensive attraction, especially considering the very short duration, but that was a very cool first skyjump experience for me. Team was nice and careful, crosschecking each others. End of the jump is slowed, which feels less harmful than actual binge jumping.

Seriously a lifetime experience. I am terrified of heights but was talked into doing this. Once you jump you will understand.

  • 5/5 Ahmad L. 7 months ago on Google
Do it. Best experience or at least one of the best in Vegas. They have 4 people that check your harness at different points before you jump, they measure your weight, and when you're up there just follow their instructions - don't think. And don't look down. Would definitely do again if I'm ever in town.

Most of the employees that we encountered for a Sky Jump experience were rude and need significant training in customer service. This type experience should be exciting and fun. For the most part, the employees here make the experience a negative one from the beginning. Great concept for an interesting and thrilling experience, but all the management and employees need customer service training.

DO IT!! The staff made me feel so safe, and it was the best experience I had here. Make sure you do the package with a video because it’s a go prop attached to your hand and the video comes out great!!! Best natural high I’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend.

  • 2/5 Leeds M. 2 years ago on Google
The jump was fine, very safe. The video I spent extra money to purchase was corrupted. Whatever merge between the "intro" and the "jump" broke the video, and it only plays the intro, and crashes for the jump. Very disappointed. - not like it can be rectified, this was in 2014.

Do not book here!! Employees are extremely rude. The managers do not hold employees accountable. Employees talk back and rolls eyes. Juliana has a horrible attitude and talks back. If you email the manager you do not get a response because they do not care. Reservations do not matter and they are disorganized.

I highly recommend if you have the opportunity to do this... THEN ABSOLUTELY DO IT!!! I spend a lot of time beforehand researching the reviews and checking for injuries involved with this. There were multiple reviews about the staff being unprofessional and rude. But that was definitely not my experience throughout my entire involvement. They were reassuring assisting and took the time to answer all my questions and to make sure I understood the directions clearly. It's a shock going over the edge, it's no different than going on a zipline at a higher rate of speed, they Max your descent speed at 45 mph, which gives you the opportunity to really enjoy the view as you descend quickly. I paid $172 total, (with tax), for the GoPro camera experience and it was well worth it. They gave me 2 photos that they took before my jump and the GoPro video of my descent on a USB drive afterwards and it's clear as day. Great quality too. It's a great memory to have and while the actual descent is only 11 (or so) seconds, it's one I'd gladly do again. The hardest part is forcing yourself to jump after the '3, 2, 1, Go' countdown, but I jumped immediately. If you're scared of heights I'd recommend not looking down from the ledge, just going for it. You won't be disappointed.

  • 1/5 Stephen G. 7 months ago on Google
SkyJump was closed due to the wind being 2 MPH over their limit. Instead of staying on top of the wind to see if they can start up jumps again, they wait in 30-minute increments. How about checking it more often? It would be great if they could text those who had made reservations about the weather conditions closing down the jump and for guests to not pay for a ride share to get there. I’m all about safety but their customer service sucks. Of course, although they charged my card immediately when I made reservations, they said a refund would take a few days. Also, the Strat is a dump: Keep a tight grip on your wallet and watch out for pick pockets, hobos, and beggars.

We purchased our ticket prior to arriving. Upon arriving, we were turned away by Carla because my son’s ID was on his phone and not a hard copy. Carla was not kind or professional. I then spoke with the asst. manager, Selena, who was very kind and did a great job handling a disappointing situation. After talking the situation through with her, I spoke with the manager, Jeff. Jeff was extremely kind, polite, and genuinely understanding. He graciously worked out a plan with my son. When it was his turn to jump, the winds were “extremely high and they would be closing for the night”. At this point, I’m not sure if I would have felt safe with him jumping after this long drawn out situation. As a business owner, I would probably make sure that the employees working the front are professional. I would also like to ask the marketing team to possibly add hard copy ID and not just valid to their website Q&A section. (Other reviews mentioned an ID problem) With today’s world being tech savvy, the younger generation tends to have their license digitally. I might consider that being approved as well. While I truly appreciate Selena, Jeff, and the young man that helped my son put on his jumping suit, only to be told he wouldn’t get to jump, the other lady should probably get trained on customer service. I also truly hope that him not jumping was truly due to the weather, and the disgruntled employee being petty and vindictive. There are a handful of reviews mentioning customer service concerns.

This was my first time ever jumping off the stratosphere tower and it was NERVE RACKING! The staff was inside and up in the tower definitely made me feel at ease before my jump. 100% will go again!!!

There were great views from the top, and walking out onto that platform and stepping off really requires some nerve! The actual fall though, was fun, but not so exciting. It's a controlled fall, so you're going pretty fast, but not really falling. Definitely better than the local ziplines though. The staff was young, but friendly, and they offer a nice discount for locals.

  • 4/5 Deb A. 1 year ago on Google
I thoroughly enjoyed this and felt it was worth the money. I loved the package with photos and video, plus the certificate was an extra nice touch 😊. Two points to note, if you are a little shy, be aware that a lot of what happens is in public. I'd also like to say that though staff are extremely efficient and I put my total trust in them hence my 'leap of faith', they could be a little more patient and friendly with shy/nervous jumpers - bearing in mind what their customers are about to do!

  • 2/5 Joanne C. 1 year ago on Google
The jump itself was pretty fun and most of the staff were nice, however the two young elevator attendants who were both unprofessional and disrespectful made it less enjoyable. That is why I only gave it 2 stars, otherwise it would have been 4. They were loudly talking the whole way up about inappropriate things and making mocking remarks. Very rude and immature. Need better staff for dealing with customers. They are better suited for cleaning toilets with their attitude. Just felt very uncomfortable the whole ride up.

Despite poor reviews saying about staff this is the opposite of what I experienced, all the staff I interacted with were friendly, professional and genuinely wanting to help. I had a great jump and visit to this attraction. We had a reservation at 5 arrived early at 4 and they got us in early too, excellent. Thanks a lot would return again!

This was stupid!...And awesome!...and terrifying! I have done the same system four times off of a ten story building. This was different. I have also tandem skydived. This was different. I don't know if it is my age or what, but I was terrified. Then I did it, and it was awesome! Do it while you have the guts!
