This
was
a
lot
more
fun
than
I
expected.
We
arrived
just
in
time
to
catch
the
last
train
ride
of
the
day.
I'm
from
Chicago
and
ride
the
train
every
day
to
work.
Yet
this
was
a
completely
different
experience....
got
to
see
old
non
updated
cars
and
sat
in
an
open
train
car
(which
Chicago
weather
could
never
handle).
Train
went
slowly
down
the
4
mile
track,
stopped,
and
went
back.
Interesting
to
see
the
mountains
from
this
perspective
and
learn
from
the
knowledgeable
conductor
(who
is
amazing
with
kids
by
the
way).
After,
we
wandered
through
the
train
exhibits.
It
said
museum
on
the
website,
but
really
it's
a
bunch
of
old
train
cars
parked
in
one
spot,
and
you
can
go
in
some
of
them.
It
was
fun
to
see
the
old
mail
car
and
a
real
luxury
travel
train,
reminiscent
of
Murder
on
the
Orient
Express.
Husband
loved
it
and
chatted
with
the
museum's
members
who
were
all
very
friendly.
Thanks
for
the
experience!
