We chose this place to deliver our baby and we were very pleased with our stay. To all expecting mothers, I highly recommend that you visit/tour this place and see for yourself. The rooms are bigger than most hospitals and are comfortable staying for both parents. They provide 2 meals for the parents, and the staff are attentive, friendly, and very pleasant to work with. My wife had a c section, and she was walking within 12 hours. The pull out sofa was not the best but better than the last hospital, but then again, this is not the Hiltons. This is to be expected. I want to give this place the huge thank you for giving us a great service and kept us all safe.

I came here with chest pain on the ambulance from the De Lima campus because they don’t have a cardiologist on call. I think that the San Martin campus is a great hospital with many resources that others don’t have. It’s fairly new, and very clean. This hospital includes very knowledgeable, helpful, caring staff, nurse’s and Doctor's. I didn’t have to wait and wait for my pain meds. They also have good food and rooms with views!! They make your experience as comfortable as they can. My nurse Naomi saved my lunch for me and warmed it up for me when I came back from my test! I saw a lot of poor reviews before I came and was a little nervous! I was so pleasantly surprised! I give this campus five stars and two thumbs up!

If I could give zero stars I would! I don't know how this place has any good reviews, unless it recently just changed. Was not taken seriously at all was left in an uncomfortable wait room for 7 hours to be told I was completely fine, only to find out from a different hospital that I had pneumonia. Was told by the staff "I needed to stop taking my problems out on them" last I checked your jobs are to deal with people's PROBLEMS! Was told no one is keeping me there as they pointed to the door, after 7 hours and not getting a single result or talking to a nurse about my condition one time. Being left in the dark for 7 hours is so unprofessional and I have NEVER experienced such a thing at a hospital in my life. Being pulled in and out of rooms for 5 minutes just to be pushed back to and unclean waiting room is ridiculous. One of the rooms they brought me into had blood all over the floor! That's cleaned and sanitized right? Was left in hallways multiple times as I hear nurses talking about other patients and also bad talking patients just because they are overwhelmed never have I experienced such rude unprofessional staff and never have I had to sit and listen to staff bad mouthing other patients. There was not one single positive experience about the place and I would not recommend this hospital to one single person.

Rani in pre-admissions was far and beyond the star of the show at San Martin! I was nervous going in but she immediately set me at ease. Her sweet demeanor and prompt accuracy makes this the perfect job for her. From Rani to Joe expertly drawing blood to Gerald, the amazing pre-admissions nurse, I had an overwhelmingly positive experience. Than you team San Martin! I am grateful for you!

Here with my mother while my dad get open heart surgery. Have been here since 9am. Very beautiful hospital and friendly staff. Dad was taken back at 4:00pm. Not upset they were working on another patient that needed extra help. Glad to know they take care of patients and not rush them through like cattle. They did keep us informed of the wait. Which is nice instead of getting upset and not knowing why we had to wait. Very grateful for all medical staff working on my dad.

Recently, a family member had to be admitted to this hospital (they are doing fine by the way), and I am pleased by the way they are being taken care of. The staff I talked to were friendly, and took the time to help answer questions. The rooms are modest in size, and comfortable enough. The hospital has a small gift shop where you can buy flowers, stuffed toys and jewelry. It also has a cafeteria where you can get breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have a grill where you can get burgers, sandwiches, or full entrees. My only bit of criticism is that the more public areas could use more housekeeping, like the vestibule for the public non-emergency entrance and the lobby.

I had a bad experience in the emergency room . I stayed there from 1:00 am up to 6:00 pm without food. They did not give me food. Also the fatest guy, who was extracting blood is mean. And a nurse, I forgot the name was mean. They say I will be admitted in the morning, but they gave room being prepared to another patient , so I waited up to 7:00pm for the room 36. That is discrimination!. I just found relief when the nurse Maria and her assistant gave the best service. I cannot believe people in the emergency room render that kind of unsatisfactory service at the time we needed it most.

San Martin De Porres Hospital looks fairly new, Staff, Doctors and Emergency Team are excellent health providers in patient care and health assistance. Although I haven't been a patient at this facility, they were very good in excellence in providing care in taking care of my grandson while he was here as a patient. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that although my grandson was here that we couldn't stay with him overnight while he was here because our distance to get back home was far and that we had no other option but to sleep in our car during the night in temps of 40 to 30 degrees here. I'd recommend this hospital for patient care and treatment but if you live far from this facility I'd recommend getting a room or motel if you had to be at the hospital for frequent visits and hospital conferences, treatments or family care.

Top notch experience with St. Rose Dominican Hospital-San Martin Campus. The cleanliness, spot on and also especially the medical professionals who helped me and my son during his surgery. First of Doctor Urologist Dr. Clare Close she is the nicest, best at what she does. Anthesiologist was great she was outstanding. Nurses Jen C in Pre-Op, Post Op (Traci) who was my son’s nurse in recovery, (John) was also a nurse the one who assisted us to our car he was very sincere, caring and informative. Let’s not forget the team from OR nurse (Yvette, Jason and tech who kept my son comfortable on the day of his surgery 8/24/2023). Thank you San Martin Campus.

Best Hospital I've been to in Vegas. Immediately put me in a nice clean room and got my husband comfortable as well with a blanket and pillows. Offered us food and water. All Dr's and nurses were nice and friendly. Never rude. They all seemed so caring and provided us with so much information and made sure we understood everything that was wrong with me. Dr Richardson, Dr Saenz, and Dr Tariq are the best. And their nurses. Thank you Dignity Health St Rose staff.

It didn’t take very long for them to call me back into the Emergency Department although there was quite a few people there already and the staff was right on my illness. I drive all the way from North Las Vegas to the his particular hospital because they are so very good at what they do. The nurses are very helpful and caring and they know how to treat patients and I always feel safe and cared about by them and they make me feel comfortable and someone always looks in to check on the patients when they’re really busy so that you don’t feel like they forgot about you being there. I highly recommend Saint Rose Dominican Hospital Highly recommend

Absolutely glad we were recommended to deliver our daughter at this hospital. They offer a tour to see the labor & delivery. We went to the tour and Ray who was our tour guide was amazing. The room is pretty big and spacious. Labor, delivery, and recovery is all on the same floor. We didn’t have to move, which we loved. The entire staff was great. They took really good care of us. We highly recommend this hospital. Thank you staff for everything .

I have taken my hubby to many different hospitals in Las Vegas! San Martin has been the absolute best in quality of care! Very clean, professional and compassionate staff all around! For the first time ever after being hospitalized my hubby did not come home with bed sores! I can’t thank the staff enough for how wonderful they are!

I caught a cold from my wife. After several days I was having more trouble breathing than usual. I had a quint bypass surgery in March and was certain that I had water in or around my lungs. The doctor said he couldn’t hear anything. After some coercion, he agreed to do a sonogram on my lungs. At that point they saw a large amount of fluid around my right lung. They did a thoracentisis and removed 1.5 liters of fluid. They also saw fluid in the lung but discharged me with no antibiotics or anything for the terrible cough that I had. Good medical care is hard to come by these days.

I have never had a problem at this emergency room. I have been you're a multiple times this past time. I literally sat in the room for about 5 1/2 hours. Saw the doctor for 1 minute and he never came back to even tell me everything was okay or anything. The nurse discharged me. They did absolutely nothing except take my money. And like I said, I have been here many times and I have never had this experience. If anybody says something about saint rose and I'm like I never have a problem with them, They're the best until now.

I went into the ER with a severe allergic reaction, classified as anaphylaxis,, but my throat was not being affected. I was in the waiting room for over an hour, and was in the ER for approximately 6 hours before being transferred due to my insurance not being contracted with them. To make a long story short, my complaints were not taken seriously by the nursing staff, and they took an "I don't see it so it's not happening " approach. The Dr listened to me when talking to me directly, but based on our conversations, the nurses did not relay my concerns to her correctly, nor completely. Once it was decided that I was being transferred, it seemed like they just wanted to wash their hands from taking care of me. I even had one nurse tell me "there is nothing more we can do for you". Because they didn't take my symptoms seriously and did not do everything they could, and should have done, while in transit my stability declined dramatically. This ER department failed to take care of me to the point that my life was in danger.

I usually don’t leave reviews for hospitals but the doctor who treated my daughter made me very emotional. I brought my 3 year old in because she had a high fever and a wet cough. We waited for quite some time that was the only bad part about this experience. My daughter was treated by this wonderful doctor (I can’t remember her name, I had been up for 24 hours at this point) she was kind and made my daughter laugh. They did a covid test when the results came back the doctor literally ran to where we were and excitingly said that my daughters test came back negative. The joy in this doctors face was a pleasant surprise along with the results of course.

Wow! All I have to say is great things about this hospital. I’ve been to many and my father recently got sick and we needed up at this hospital for the first time and all the staff was amazing! Super attentive and caring. Grateful for all the nurses and doctors that took care of him! Dr Zeizal, Nurse Nick, Ginny , Erin , Mare , Virginia and many other nurses that I can recall the names. The house keeper was also very nice and attentive! Highly recommend

It's ER...zero wait, no games, I was taken seriously, straight talk, nothing unnecessary or over the top, but felt like all my concerns were more than adequately addressed. All of the staff, Dr. Lo included, were approachable and attentive to my needs. Was really impressed with my respiratory therapist, I wish I could remember his name. Most doctors don't even listen to your lungs as well as he did, let alone explain what he heard, he was awesome. I don't even think I have had an RT listen to my lungs before...If anything, the facility felt a little dated, especially the room where the CT scanner was. It was like some weird hybrid storage area...like Dignity Health forgot they needed a place to put their CT and were like," just throw it in here for now", or something. People were great, super efficient, in/out in 2-2.5 hours with the works, DH please invest in your facility.

PROS: Everything went well and the staff was kind. Facility clean and organized. Robotic surgery made thing easier. We felt confident we wouldn't die when Dr Washington explained how he was knocking us out. CONS: Do paperwork early. They make you sign ridiculos things to waste time like you won't smoke. Signing something isn't going to stop people from smoking its stupid and probably created by someone with a worthless degree trying to make busy work for themselves. Also watching the virtue signaling employees wearing masks is hillariois people watching. Only heavy white women doing paperwork in the offices are wearing masks and you can tell they are Karen's by the way the act on the phone and with others. They must not know those masks don't stop viruses and just want us to know how they are voting. Hospital participation with that nonsense without providing proper air filtration show there are illogical people fearmongering.

Nurses and doctors were wonderful. The only negative was the food. I could literally go without eating and no one would know. The food is so bad. Vi mean awful! I actually was there for two days and lost 5 lbs. Not good.

It is almost 2024 and Doctors should know how to recognize and treat common Covid. However, my Mother was misdiagnosed with Aspirational pneumonia and ventilated without regard to her medical history and age…81, or authorization. Covid! Just Covid! My mother is non verbal and I was in the emergency waiting room, so no authorization to do this dangerous procedure was discussed or given. While inserting the unauthorized ventilator, they pierced my Mothers lungs…and then she had to be intubated and had two chest drain tubes. Then…the punctured lung caused blood pressure and heart related issues. In this hospital for over 30 days, fighting for her life. All they had to do was a simple 10 minute Covid test, which I have learned is the normal procedure, for breathing related issues in the ER!! Her daily assigned doctor - Walsh, only met with me 1 time in the 30 days my mother was in the hospital, even though I requested to meet with him on numerous occasion's. He avoided and disregarded me and I was in the hospital everyday and night, sleeping on the couch. Why…they failed my Mother, I do not know…but will find out. I was screamed at by a doctor(s) and bullied into signing a DNR! I took daily notes and pictures and even contacted Patient Advocacy, spoke to the Priest and made complaints. This daughter is livid and will get answers!

I've been to ER a couple of times on two unrelated issues. Each time I received quick professional care from admission to treatment, unlike many Urgent Care centers. From now on Dignity is my go to hospital/ER for all medical needs.

Had outpatient surgery on Dec 15th for an umbilical hernia. The day before surgery I checked in with admitting and did pre surgery labs and test. When I was done I was advised that all I had to do was pick up my hospital wrist band in the morning as this completed my check in. All through the process everyone I dealt with for labs and admitting were very kind and professional. The next morning I picked up my wristband and within minutes I was called back to outpatient surgery and was prepped for surgery. All the nurses, and the entire staff was awesome. On this day I was blessed twice. The first time I had. Gentleman named Gabriel for my anestigeologist. Total pro very professional and very good. The second blessing was my surgeon Dr. Barry Rives. Not just a great and gifted surgeon, but also a great all around person. Despite the fact he is a Raiders fan, lol. In closing a truly humble thank you to everyone involved With my care. As far as a rating for St Rose St Martin thank you for maintaining a welcoming and professional experience.

I don’t often write reviews but this St. Rose and dignity health has been the worst experience ever in terms of care and billing. My 2 year old son had an accident that required staples. It was bleeding profusely and I could tell it was a large gash. I went to the closest hospital to our home which was St. Rose. We were discharged the first time after only three staples were placed. The wound was no longer bleeding and I went against my better judgement and trusted that the PA had gotten the entire wound. I had to return to the hospital and hour and a half later because his head began to bleed again. He had to have 8 more staples placed in his head because the wound was not completely closed. I had to subject my two year old to being held screaming because no one looked to see how large the wound actually was the first time. We paid our copay for the hospital at time of service and have proof. There was no attempt to shave his hair before the PA placed the staples. Large pieces of hair were trapped under the staples and made it difficult to remove a later. I had to hold my screaming toddler while they were removed because the doctor could not locate most of the staples. Color me surprised when a few weeks later I receive a bill for my ER copay. I called they say they show we did not pay. They gave my an email address to send proof of payment. I send a copy of the card I used billing statement, which I was told would work. I never received any proof that they received the email. I called back three weeks later they had just acknowledged they received the email. I was told to call back in the 20th. I call today and was told that I did not attach proof of payment. I go to the email and I did attach a pdf of the statement. I mistakenly had replied asking for the acknowledgment they received my email. The most I can assume is they looked at the last sent email and said oh nothing there. I know have to take time to go to the hospital to provide proof in person as it’s clear the people in this billing department are incompetent. I will never do business with St. Rose to dignity health again. I will arm every person to never utilize their services.

I am doing this review to give a shout out to a wonderful, compassionate nurse that works in the ICU name Carly Anne C. She took care of my mom in law while she was in the hospital. During this time in the hospital my mom in law lost her husband, and Carly Anne had tremendous patience and comfort her during this difficult time. Unfortunately after being discharge she came back a few times to this hospital and died a month later from her initial stay. 6 months later I am great full that she had a compassionate, nurse, taking care of her during those few days in the hospital.

This hospital has the worst customer service that I experienced yesterday I called the operator and he told me to spell the last name and I made a mistake with a letter and he told me that there was no person like that and he hung up the phone and called again and told him the last name and told me to learn to spell the ABC is. Incredible how they treat people. The name of the operator will never be forgotten. CHRIS what a Horror 😡😡

I had a right knee replacement done there and wound care after the surgery was done wrong. Starting with icing the wound, simple task as changing ice out and putting fresh ice was done so lazy that I received 1 ice treatment after the surgery. I don’t know if they are under staffed or they are just lazy. I know for sure, the helper did their best but, they can’t do lot of staff without nurses direction. Don’t go there unless you really have to. I mean really have to. Nice facility but it needs to be run better…. So sad, millions of dollars spent for what????

I have gone to the ER as a patient and also as a spouse of a patient and I must say I always have a great experience. The staff seems like they know what they are doing and wait times seem minimal. Staff is kind and the RN’s are funny and make people who don’t like going to a doctor at ease. Very amazing ER staff from the front desk to the doctors.

I wanted to thank the ICU nurse Lorna from the bottom of my heart. She took care of my dad phenomenally. The way she spoke to him to tell him what she was doing, the way she was gentle with is, how quick and efficient she was, the Grace she had while all the pressure she had from her job was amazing. Well if you’d like me to be honest when I went Friday morning to check in I was told to be there Monday morning the day of my surgery at 8 AM then so that Friday that I’m checking in the lady said oh we changed your time to 6 AM I said OK so I showed up at 6 AM Monday morning checked in at that one area they sent me across to the other waiting room to check in and I waited like an hour and a half when no one came out to talk to me so I finally asked and they didn’t know the times are all messed up I was supposed to be later on that morning not there so early so that was one thing, and then the food they gave me was not diabetic friendly I was given an attitude about that by one nurse however the nutritional staff excellent. I had some good nurses physical therapy people were nice but this one nurse Jen she just was so challenging as me not very nice. My orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kastrup and his staff 👍👍👍

One of the best places you can go to when I go anywhere else best care and best people doctors and nurses are excellent none that you will ever find in Las Vegas are better than them. The can you receive at this hospital is one of the best all rooms are private. Care is private they stay on your case as long as they need to and they care for you and the compassion that one would need in any type of situation you would never expect a hospital to be this loving and caring and respectful to every patient in all organs so I would say I would go to this hospital before I would go to anyone else dignity help St Rose is one of the best in town even if you're out of town this is a place I would recommend even the urgent Care

Currently on day 3 here after having my appendix as well as 6-7 inches of my intestines removed and have to say the quality of care I have received at this facility has been phenomenal. The doctors, nurses, and all other staff have been the textbook definition of professionalism while also displaying a true sense of care. I feel like far too often at least one or two of us have been to a hospital where maybe we have been made to feel like just another number. That couldn’t be further from my experience here. You can tell the staff here definitely takes pride in what they do and loves to see their patients on the path to recovery. This review alone doesn’t even begin to cover the top notch care I have received here. Obviously hope you never have to be admitted for something serious, but if you do, you’re in great hands here at this hospital!

My loved ones scare was great. The staff was professional and caring. The doctor was very informative and took great care of us. This is hard to find these days. The hospital itself is run well. I had another loved one get chemo therapy at this location, and that too was run very well. The only issue I have is that they contract some some of their patients out to Sandstone Spring Valley, which is a post hospital rehab facility on the corner of Rainbow and Russell Road. Sandstone is a house of horrors. DO NOT allow your loved one to be sent to Sandstone for rehabilitation or physical therapy after a stay in any hospital in the valley. You will worry for your loved one when they’re alone.

We are from Canada and my son got admitted here for a night, and I have nothing else to say about this hospital but only good things. All the doctor, specialist and nurses have been very accommodating and helpful to me and my son from the time that we got there. We had to fly home the next day so they really tried their best to get my son well so they can discharge us. They also made sure that my husband and I are comfortable and are able to rest as well.

The customer service in this location is astounding! The emergency room was not packed so they were able to help my husband and I immediately. They made it easy for me to visit him, the security guard even walked me to his room. Nursing staff all showed genuine interest and concern. When they brought us up to the third floor we were greeted warmly and provided refreshments as well as a small bed for myself. Communication was seamless and the best part was that there are zero time limits for when I can come see my husband!!

I went in with concerns of Covid infection. Entire staff was very courteous and professional. I was badly dehydrated and had bronchitis. Need to see someone about a skin infection and had several test done. Was told some if the test results I would be later contacted. To date nothing and my condition has worsened. Overall I'm profoundly disappointed with Dignity Health. FEEL LIKE I'M JUST A NUMBER!!

Hands down would highly recommend to deliver your baby here. I just had my 4th child here on June 13. My nurse Chasity was amazing through my whole labor. I had some complications during labor and Chasity was on top of it every single time. Also thank you to the other nurses that rushed in as well. I don’t remember much towards the end but I remember there being about 5 other nurses in the room. You were all so amazingly well to me, and I appreciate it very much. The next day one of the head nurses came in to check on me and gave me her card, letting us know if we ever needed anything then they were here for us. Truly blessed with the nurses I had. I really hope Chasity is able to see this. Thank you so much.

I'm posting this on behalf of my brother Joseph Angelico he could not say enough after he was released to come home about the great care he got he had an excellent experience at this hospital. He truly felt that the staff actually cared about his condition and found out things he didn't even know about. He was about to go into a diabetic coma and had no idea. They made him feel extremely comfortable and safe.

My mother is currently on ventilation and unable to make decisions for herself. Despite this, she has been mistreated by both other doctors and the hospital staff. It is disheartening to see that the hospital is open 24 hours for visitors, yet my mother is denied the presence of even one family member after 9 pm. This blatant disregard for patient rights is unacceptable. It is evident that the hospital staff prioritizes profit over patient care. I urge , do not to trust the well-being of your loved ones to this hospital. We are determined to fight for my mother's rights and bring her home where she can receive the loving care she deserves. I will be gathering more evidence to support my claims, and I intend to share it in the future. I am committed to advocating for my mother and ensuring that her rights are upheld.

I don’t get the “I cant visit my loved ones after 9pm” reviews. You literally can visit them any time day or night…. I spent every night for a week with my father in ICU. You can come and go at all hours through the Emergency entrance. Every nurse, respiratory specialist, and doctor has been extremely kind and caring. The food is fantastic for a hospital. I’d recommend this hospital to anyone. I’ve never seen staff so eager to make you well and comfortable.

I can’t begin to tell how wonderful my pre-op nurses and recovery nurses were! This was by far the best surgical experience that I’ve had, and I have had Well over a dozen surgeries in the last 10 or 12 years.. They were so nice, compassionate they were all also bubbly and full of life. Having surgery is never a good thing, but the girls on staff that were my nurses were by far the greatest! Thank you so much for a comfortable stay!

Patient in ICU for about 8 days now after a heart procedure. The ICU staff is exemplary. Danelle, Michelle, Jordam, are daytime duty RNs so far whom I have met. Highly attentive, caring, and are true assets to their profession. Graveyard shift RNs, Venus and Nancy. Wonderful professionals. I have personally experienced the ease in how the nurses and other members of the ICU staff demonstrate seamless teamwork when one needs the other to get things done. Opposite to Spring Valley Hospital, a very poor performer, the doctors and surgeons here at Saint Martin campus are proactively using their medical skills towards providing their curative specialties to make the patient better. Thanks to Dr. Wood and his surgical team for undertaking the heart procedure that the patient needed which Spring Valley Hospital could not provide. Thanks to Dr. Cordero for his daily assessment, immediate timely medical recommendations, and jovial demeanor. Thanks for the other doctor specialists that took their time to provide their own input for the overall wellbeing of the patient. Thank you ICU staff. Thank you, highly dedicated RNs. Thank you, highly skilled doctors and surgeons. Thank you, Saint Martin. Please continue to keep doing what you do best.

Everyone left, I’m the only one in the lobby, I started knocking looking for someone finally someone comes out from the back and tells me they’re now closed.
