I usually go a little bit out of my way to take my mother to this hospital if need be, and every other visit has been flawless. This visit was completely different, it seems as tho they are extremely short staffed now, the lobby is dirty with used masks on the floor. They also proceeded to triage my mother who has been having severe sciatica on top of a pinched nerve, and she can barely walk without being in pain. I didn't know it was common practice to see your patients in the waiting room disgussing personal matters in front of everyone within ear shot, they also proceeded to lift her shirt up all the way, in the waiting room in front of the windows. My mother was in tears, not only from the pain and the added pain from the person I'm not sure if he was a nurse or a Dr, but the added pain from him lifting her legs too high, and pushing on her back, but she's also humiliated that he lifted her shirt, and when asked if that is how they triage patients now, they claimed all of the rooms were full. My mother was so upset, they also treated her like there was nothing they can do it's just common back problems, didn't ask her any medical information besides if she could have a bowel movement. Totally unacceptable!!!! What happened to HIPPA? I guess it doesn't exist anymore here. I walked outside 5 minutes later and this is the pic I took after Dr said they were Full.... Unbelievable!!!!! Then they finally took her to this empty room in the pic, and pull her pants down to her knees to give her 2 shots. Which further upset her, the admin will be hearing about this because this is not how you run an emergency room. Sloppy unprofessional work in my opinion.

Thank you Southern Hills Hospital for quick and friendly care. Went into the overnight ER with severe lower right abdominal pain, assuming I had appendicitis. The staff was very helpful; Youzmin - rad tech, Christopher - ER nurse, Dr. Michele - ER physician. I’m beyond grateful. I did not have appendicitis (which is life threatening); however, other findings presented themselves. Answers are imperative for a quality of health and care, thank you immensely. Attentive care and phenomenal ‘bed side manner.’ The only complaint - one of the ER nurses (not Chris) placed my IV into my muscle and not a vein. Another ER nurse switched it to a vein, with doctor’s orders. Thank you!

This was my first visit to Southern Hills Hospital by referral from a friend. I have to say she didn't steer me wrong. It was a 25 min drive from where I live but it was WELL Worth it!! I received wonderful care from the time we arrived in ER to the point when I was admitted and needed emergency surgery. The staff was pleasant and compassionate. Every nurse and doctor as well as the admin personnel was extremely kind and caring. The gentleman that took my blood was so great and considerate when I shared my extreme fear of needles. I won't go anywhere else if I have anything to say about it. You have a tremendous staff and you all should be very proud of the work you do and service that you give! Thank you from the bottom of my Heart!

My 92 year old mother was transported there in an ambulance and from the time they arrived to the time she was seen in the emergency room, she was treated with kindness and everyone was patient attentive to her needs and mine. The doctors explained in great detail what was happening and the nurses were the best I have ever seen. In the mist of a pandemic, they were on top of everything and I saw the same great care for all of the patients that were brought in. We are from California and this is by far the best I have ever experienced. Great job and God bless the whole staff from the receptionist to the physicians.

Attention EVERYONE! On December 30th, I visited Southern Hills Hospital ER after being sick for 5 days, and let’s just say it was not the best experience. I have had to be admitted to this hospital before, and it was phenomenal. With that being said, let’s get right to it. After check in and going to the back overflow room, that’s when it took a turn for the worst. Southern Hills had Dr. Lewis and PA Spencer working that evening. Every patient Dr. Lewis saw, she down played their concerns. On top of her condescending demeanor and minimizing how you felt, her bedside manner made others and myself quite upset from the lack of empathy and human compassion she refused to share. For example, another patient complained they were dizzy, and she proceeded to send them home like they didn’t matter. She didn’t seem to listen to the nursing staff or their concerns for certain patients, let alone my own. Many of the new patients waited two hours for her first encounter. I had to wait an additional two hours for some unknown reason, waiting altogether four hours for some kind of medical attention, and again, minimizing my own health concerns. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that if she is there to run the opposite direction, because nothing will be done, and you will be sitting around for no reason. I hope Southern Hills pays attention to these reviews, and takes action with the this medical provider as she should be doing better.

I just had my newborn son here, the care I received was so wonderful. I’m so grateful to the whole team for taking care of me. Everyone was so kind and empathetic. There are not enough words to say to show my gratitude for making the most important time in my life so much easier. You all are rockstars ⭐️

I came back in for a cyst that i had them take care of a month ago well it had came back so i was advised to come back so i did but this time i was feeling i had gone septic from this cyst. mind you im a CNA but i didnt tell them this. So i had went in the nurse practitioner tracy parker had looked at it and i pointed out where it was she didnt look in the right spot told me i was fine and i can go home despite my nausea throwing up chills and low b/p i had ask if they could do more tests she said no i was fine to go home prescribed me some antibiotics to take if it got worse. I had asked to speak with a doctor nick sadeghi and tracy ended up in the room underminimg me and cutting me off both of them said i was wrong and that i need to listen to them because they are doctors and know better that my "back story" was irrelevant. I only had my vitals taken so i will be checking my itemized bill to make sure i wasnt charged anything else. Also they gave me a open used scub to take home and clean the cyst with. This hospitals emergancy room staff is a joke.

Such a wonderful experience! From the moment I stepped into the waiting area, security and the check in nurses were so nice. They were quick and professional. Upon getting back for treatment, I was immediately met with the registrar which was a very smooth process. The doctor talked to me immediately and we together developed a plan for what I needed. It was so nice to be treated respectfully and given the treatment that I needed at that time. I was in and out in one hour. I highly recommend this ER.

All of the nurses in labor and delivery were so incredible. They really care about every patient and make you feel important while providing the best care. They helped me through a 34 hour painful labor and talked me through every process, even the beginning pushing phase. Southern Hills is a super nice hospital, they provided not only me, but my husband meals without asking, and were very accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable, and every staff we encountered was amazing. Highly recommend this hospital, especially to people giving birth soon!

I'm rating the hospital based off there customer service in the emergency room. Every nurse i heard speak, not only to just me but to every others human being in the Er today as well in the hospital we're all rude. The nurses and everybody in triage They act like people aren't already sick and at their lowest. All people want is for someone to care and help their health out just a little. every nurse in the emergency room is just straight rude. I'm not from this state and would say this is the worse healthcare system I've ever came across. Why did you guys go through all that time in school to hate your job like that? It's scary to say our new generation is this careless in the hospital. Everybody in the triage and check in are need to work on being kind and having patience. Not everybody is use to your hospital so getting mad that someone didn't know to use your "kiosk" to check into the Er isn't something that people are going to know and be use to. You choose your career path the patient didn't choose to be sick! With that being said if you don't like your job please don't take it out on others especially because most people coming in are already not feeling well.

Spent 24 hours here and did not feel safe as staffing seemed (and dangerously) understaffed and exceptionally inexperienced. Specialty care was impossible to obtain and we signed ourself out and left to another hospital. Very busy ER with patients waiting in hallways and several hours for a bed upstairs when admitted.

I was recently hospitalized for one week. I felt like a member of their family during my entire stay! Not only did staff support me through the physical difficulties I was having, but they went out of their way to support my mental health as well. They even brought a little dog named Thor to come and cuddle with me! As history has shown, hospital food is not always top rated. I was thoroughly amazed at the deliciousness of the food that was prepared for me. They even had the head chef come by and round to make sure that the food that was being served was living up to his standards! Upper management made their presence known by rounding and seeking feedback multiple times throughout my stay. This is the second time I have been hospitalized at this facility. The care is so amazing that I drive from the opposite side of town just so I can be admitted at this facility when necessary. I cannot overstate how amazing the care they provide is! I have recommended Southern Hills Hospital to everybody I know!

My husband had shoulder surgery at this facility last week, and I can honestly say we were bowled over with the whole experience. We were greeted warmly at the entrance, and the friendly greeter made sure that she showed me where I would be waiting during his surgery. Then she took us to get checked in and the staff there was just as warm and friendly. The experience was just as impressive when he was taken back to be prepped for surgery. Everyone from the nurses to the anesthesiologist to the surgeon was patient, knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. I felt confident that he was in good hands. The waiting room was comfortable, they offered drinks and snacks, and they had a volunteer in the room who was keeping me informed and escorted me to the recovery room after the surgery. It was a fantastic experience.

My experience delivering our baby at Southern Hills was great - my nurse in Labor and Delivery, Pamela was absolutely INCREDIBLE. I know my experience went so well because of her careful attention, great bedside manner and skills. I felt heard, important and educated on everything that was going on with my induction and delivery. The anesthesiologist was also top notch -- the epidural went smoothly and again, I felt like she took great care of me. The only thing that was stressful was that within an hour of delivery, they wanted to move me to my recovery room. I felt like I was being rushed, and not given the appropriate care after my delivery. I know that it was right during their shift change, and Pamela had stayed late to get me all set up with baby, which I really appreciated. Overall though, I had a great experience and would want to deliver any future children here. :)

UPDATE: As of 3/8/23 masks optional! ER visit was handled well by all hospital staff. I walked in, signed in on a screen, was checked in quickly, brought back to the ER right after being triaged and amazingly a doctor saw me within a few minutes! Then testing was done appropriately and the testing technicians and nurses were kind, considerate, and compassionate. The results did take a long time to come back, but that's normal and not the hospital's fault. Once the results were back appropriate treatment was prescribed and I was released immediately. Total time from entering to leaving only approximately four hours. (The doctor even apologized for the test results delay.) I am so relieved that my care was done professionally that I recommend this hospital over all others in Southern Nevada. FYI my wife was in this hospital five years ago and extremely sick. Within eight days she was well enough to come home. I was with her most of the stay and found the doctors, specialists, nurses and technicians very caring and competent. The hospital is kept very clean and Covid-19 patients isolated away from other ER patients which is a relief, too. THANK YOU to the hospital staff!

From the moment of check in , we were greeted by friendly and smiling faces. The care nurses were very engaging and made sure that my wife and I had full knowledge about my up coming procedures. The hospital exhibited a warm and friendly experience. We will definitely remember all of the hospital staff members, care nurses and medical teams that over saw my care during the four hour visit.

I had my daughter here in February 2023, and I have to say it was a great experience. I had to be induced and it took quite a while, so I had multiple different nurses in the maternity ward over about 2 days, and they were all incredible! Honestly I was so nervous as a first-time Mom, and they made me feel so comfortable right away. They were very attentive and patient as well. After giving birth we moved to the postpartum unit and they were very nice there as well. The rooms in both sections of the hospital were very comfortable. I am so happy I got to give birth here and would definitely want to come here again if I have another baby in the future.

It is august 8th 2023 and at 11:41pm and I’m writing this review for the doctors of southern hills hospital to let them know they are by far the worst doctors I’ve ever had to deal with, they write orders and demands for patients they never even see, I’ve been here for 4days and have not gotten any better and I can’t because I’m denied the proper care I need. I am a patient with sickle cell anemia and I have been in crisis since I been here and have been denied medication I need to help me get better, one nurse practitioner who came to see me in the er literally yelled at me and was arguing with me about how I was feeling and told me I was being unethical because I was simply trying to explain my pain and then she told me I had to go through a list of doctors myself and find one who would take me as a patient! Like I’m in an emergency room since when did I need to provide my own doctor?!?! I came to get help to get better and they rather yell at you and tell you to do their job instead of them doing what they went to school for, “if you don’t like helping people get better you need a new career”, than after being admitted upstairs and finally getting to see one doctor who promised to help and changed my medication and improve my care but has lied to me and not have done so, then every night when the pain is worse the nurse practitioner is to afraid of making their own decisions in giving me anything because of the day shift doctors. It make no sense that I have to be in the hospital and suffer as if I’m not even here, I could have been at home dealing with the pain just as bad as I am being in here, I want the doctors and whom ever else this may concern that you will hear from my lawyers.”not the nurses they do a fantastic job and deserve better as well!”. And i hope all other patients are being treated with respect and the care they deserve.

I delivered my baby at this hospital. It was an amazing experience! The nurses were wonderful: caring, attentive, knowledgeable and professional. I don’t know anyone’s names (I’m sorry!) but the super cute blonde nurse with flawless makeup in L&D (she was working the shift of 4/17 @2PM!) and also the Mormon nurse in L&D (working the shift of 4/18 @2PM!) you guys were so so so so amazing! It was my first child and it was such a tremendous experience. If I knew I’d have you guys again, I’d have another baby! 😂 The anesthesiologist (older white guy, who became an anesthesiologist after seeing his wife giving birth) working 4/18 @3PM was so kind and made me feel like a million bucks! Dr. Rojas is fantastic, of course, and she delivered my baby with such ease, as if she has been delivering babies for 1000 years! 5 star team at a 5 star hospital. Thank you so much!

Other than the day or surgery than when I got a call as I’m on my way to the hospital telling me that my surgery was scheduled of 1 pm . Which it was not I was supposed to be at the hospital at 1 pm to sign in and fill out all the paperwork most of which I had already filled out before. Surgery was scheduled for 3 pm. Everything else was great .

About a week ago, I had to call an ambulance for my mother who was burning up with a fever and incoherent. The ambulance asked me which hospital I prefer they take her to, and I immediately told them, "Southern Hills!" It turned out my mother had something pretty serious going on, and the doctors and nurses found it right away! They admitted her and went to work on her right away. The doctors, nurses, technicians, and staff -- every single one of them was patient, caring, and completely went out of their way to explain things, even if I asked silly or repetitive questions. I brought my mother home tonight (about a week after being admitted to the hospital), and she's already feeling 90% better! She still has some medication to take for the next week or so, but she's completely on the mend. While no one ever wants to find themselves in a hospital, I can tell you sincerely that this is the place you're going to want to come to if you find yourself in medical crisis. I just can't say enough good things about everyone who works at this hospital. I am forever grateful to them. I can never thank them enough. And I sincerely wish that they get to read this to know just how much my family and I appreciate every single one of them.

Had a wonderful experience delivering my baby at Southern Hills. Every single nurse was caring and patient. The two that stuck out the most were Maddie and Marissa! They are truly special. The celebration dinner and commemorative champagne glasses were a really nice touch as well! This was such a great experience… it almost makes me want to give birth again!

On my first visit to pre register for surgery procedures, I met with intake nurse Tony. Tony's patient relations was absolutely wonderful. He has a wonderful way of reassuring people that everything is going to be fine. He helped explain the entire operation so that I didn't have any doubts before leaving your facility. I hope Tony receives the kudos for his excellent customer service experience and compassion that he provides. The EKG technician and laboratory staff were great. On the actual day of surgery, I had a patient Nurse and transporter who were very professional and put me at ease. I was thrilled with the nurse that started my I.V., she only needed one attempt at placing the I.V. The entire staff were wonderful. This was my first experience at your hospital and I have no complaints. Please let your wonderful staff know that I appreciate my time at your hospital. Thank you

Excellent patient care. Since my cancer diagnosis in August 2022, I have been subject to outpatient and inpatient services at various hospitals in Clark County. By far, the efficiency, courtesy, and overall patient care at Southern Hills Hospital exceeded my expectations.

Honestly, my overnight stay in the hospital was very good. I felt well cared for. The nurses were attentive and helped me when I needed them. The ER was not very good. I was taken in around 1:30 a.m. Initially I was checked out to see what was wrong. I was having an A fib episode. I had a male nurse that was kind & occasionally checked on me. I realize they are very busy but…after 2 hours I told another nurse that came in my room for supplies that I had not seen the doctor yet. She sent her in immediately. We discussed my A fib episode (it lasted until 10:00 a.m.) I was in the ER for 12 hours because they did not have a bed available upstairs. During that time my husband had to ask for water, a meal and anything else I needed because they did not check on me. They brought me cold leftover breakfast (pancakes & bacon) for lunch after my husband asked for a meal at 2 pm. He ended up going to the cafeteria to get me food. I know if I had a very serious problem they would probably be more attentive because they would have no choice but my experience was not very good.

I delivered both of my children at Southern Hills Hospital and both times my experience was absolutely outstanding. The whole staff from the doctors to the nurses to the housekeeping show their genuine care for not only you & the baby, but your visitors. They are so attentive to your needs. I am more than happy I chose this hospital to have my children. Thank you Southern Hills for everything & having such an amazing group of people working in labor & delivery. ❤️

ER was extremely busy, but preliminary exam was timely as well as EKG. Long six hour wait for an ER Exam room where my vitals could be monitored while waiting for a hospital room to be available. I was transferred to a in-patient room the following morning. I first noted that House Keeping was doing excellent work keeping the facility safe and clean. *The entire staff was very helpful and courteous during my stay. * Food service was very good. Entrees were savory and always at the right temperature. * I did have concern about the security protocol. Compared to other hospitals I've visited in Omaha, Denver and Colorado Springs. ER patients and visitors there are screened before entering

This was the best experience I have ever had in a hospital. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Even those walking by would say hello and offer a warm blanket. I could also tell they were very connected with one another. Many told me they had worked in other hospitals but wanted to stay at Southern Hills. Good job to all and many thanks!

Promptly diagnosed in ER & immediately began treatment while waiting for bed to open for admission. Both doctors, ER & in-hospital clearly explained condition & treatment. Was treated with care & respect. during my 4 day stay. They made sure I'd have help at home while recovering. Was released fully prepared for continued treatment at home. Thank you to all the caring staff who saved my life, not because it is their job, but because they care.

So happy with my experience delivering my son here! They made my experience seamless from start to finish. The staff were comforting, accommodating, super helpful, and made the experience personal as opposed to making me feel like I’m just another patient. I had him on Labor Day weekend and know they were swamped! I can’t thank then all enough for their professionalism and comfort during this huge moment in my life. Thank you everyone from the cleaning staff up to the doctors! You guys are the best of the best!!

Amazing doctors and staff from admissions to discharge! Dr Shin was awesome! Ariana on the spine floor made sure my husband was comfortable and pain free after surgery. And Dr Poelstra is the absolute best! He takes a challenging situation and makes you feel like anything is possible! Spinal fusion complete!

This hospital lacks sanitation, my daughter had a c-section & the anesthesiologist stayed on her phone while the procedure was being done, half the staff didn’t have on surgical scrubs, poor quality of care. Students are left to care of patience. I don’t recommend anyone having a baby at this facility.

I was in Southern Hills for 5 days for my Anemia. I was emergency transported to the ER due to fainting twice in a 30 minute period & shortness of breath once I regained consciousness. My ER doctor lacked in bedside manner, and this is the only reason I cannot give 5 stars. The 2 times that I spoke with him, he was short with his responses & didn't really offer any information to me about my condition. I had to do my best (in my bad physical condition) to pull information from this doctor about my blood results. He never even told me his name. My admitting doctor, Dr. Shin, was AMAZING!!! He was knowledgeable, informative & possessed great bedside manner. Also, ALL of my attending nurses were GREAT!! Even the nurses that weren't assigned to me were helpful & courteous as well. Overall, my stay at SH was very good, but it could've been excellent if my ER doctor was a bit more easier to relate to.

I recently gave birth to my baby girl at Southern Hills. We were apprehensive at first…our experience here with the birth of our son in 2021 was less than stellar. However, this was a night and day difference! Amazing pre-op help before my c-section, wonderful nurses throughout our stay, great attention to detail for my recovery and our tiny girl—we could not have asked for a more redemptive experience. Special thanks to our nurses Allegra, Heather, Arcy, and Evelyn for their positive attitudes and loving care!

I have been coming to Los Angeles general ever since I was transferred from Huntington Hospital for the continuation of my colon cancer treatment. I’ve been going there a year and 4 months and recently had surgery and a 4 day stay there. I have been very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the thoroughness they use in your treatment, the large pharmacy they have on site, the high quality testing and X-rays, the doctor appointments. I had a long difficult surgery and the surgeons were top notch as well as every nurse that helped me there. This is a very good, underrated, hospital. I highly recommend it.

Where do I start, I really wish I can remember my nurses name. She was heaven sent. I want to say her name was Angela. She was by my side and was a huge support system for me when I got my epidural. It took 4 attempts and was scary but she really made me feel at ease. She also was able to get my Iv in on her first try . One nurse attempted twice with no luck another nurse attempted once with no luck however Angela was able to insert my Iv her first try. She was a very sweet, calm and professional nurse. My midwife was Mrs. Tina and she came in and communicated everything very well with me. She was so sweet and encouraging. She delivered my baby safely and quickly. My baby actually grabed her finger while he was still in the womb lol. Mrs. Tina did a wonderful job delivering my baby and accommodating my family.

Souther hills is the best hospital hands down in Vegas! They were so kind especially because I came from out of town. I’m he only thing I didn’t like was a nurse came in while I was asleep to draw blood and poked me in my hand while I was asleep. Other than that the staff was amazing they kept me up to date on all of my stuff. Overall excellent care.

Good Sam Hospital was always my preference location. I can say I got to experience what the medical industry has unfortunately turned to after the wrath of the pandemic. I went in for Hernia repair so while being prepped: I heard nurses talking rudely to each other and it was apparent they were having a little frustration between them, I over heard they are short handed, and to top it off I even heard the lead pre-op nurse have reprimanded conversation with a couple nurses! Then after surgery I was transferred to my room. My nurses were very nice but got just the bare minimum. Let’s just say what ever that was being tracked computer wise they did wonderfully. I was to be walked 2 hours after surgery, never happened. Was to start breathing exercise never got the tool. I was still out of it from anesthesia to ask or remind them. Finally the next morning when I was better I asked for the breathing tool and to be walked. The Nurse assistant came to walk me and at that time my pain was a bit bad but he said now or I don’t have time later! This was the first time I have had a horrible experience at Good Sam and I am very disappointed.

I had an emergency c section , and the care I received from before and after was beyond amazing. My postpartum night nurse and day nurse was just perfect , All though I can’t remember their names which I should have asked before leaving I hope this review does it. They also made sure my fiancé was comfortable asked him if he needed anything even offered him a blanket since we forgot one. I loved how the nurse I had after c section would help me little by little , this was my first c section I had given natural birth here as well one year ago but the nurses I had last year weren’t so good comparing to the ones I had this year with my c section. Thank you to all the L&D nurses for being so caring

My experience at Southern Hills Hospital was a good one. The nurse i had attending to me in the ER, Han, was exceptional. He was so attentive, it seemed like if i hit the buzzer her was waiting outside the door! He never once complained and was always positive and had good rapport with me so i am sure he was the same with all of his patients. It seemed like there were to many doctors assigned to me and possibly that is why they could not make up there mind on the diagnosis. Overall, it was a good experience

Amazing staff and experience. Extremely clean and comfortable. They explained every procedure and made me feel at ease. I have very difficult veins and the nurse was patient and was able to start my IV on the first attempt which is my biggest fear of surgery. I’d definitely recommend Southern Hills Hospital to anyone having a same day surgery.

Of course no one wants to be transported to the ER. I was lucky and was put into a room immediately upon arrival. All of my information was already in their system from the birth of my kids many years ago. Nurses and doctors were quick to assess and combat my symptoms. My husband arrived within a 1/2 an hour and was immediately allowed to come and be with me. All the staff and Doctors were very nice and made an awful moment pass easier with less stress.

I have been coming to this hospital for my mammogram for at least 10 years if not more. I always find the place clean (I see the updates), staff is extremely friendly. Check in process is efficient and my wait is minimal. It makes having this process done much nicer. Thank you!!!

Was my first time at this hospital and I was impressed I'll say. Loved that you it tells you approx waiting time on their site and was accurate was only like 5 min before I got in. Everyone from the doctor to all the nurses and everyone else I was in contact with was really nice and had good bedside manners which when you're definitely feeling horrible hence being at the hospital that's important to me. They were thorough and efficient and really paid attention very thankful for everyone's help they were able to find out things and actually give me results that were overlooked elsewhere days prior.

All the nurses were amazing. Josh, Erica, Cynthia, etc. They all went above beyond to make sure i was in as little pain as possible but also provide support as I was in the hospital alone. Though I was there alone I never felt alone thanks to them. I could not thank them enough for their help on starting my recovery path.

Please let me thank the staff at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center for their wonderful help during my stay there for the last two days. Everyone I came in contact with from the Admitting staff, Pre-op testers, All of the doctors and nurses in surgery and those on the 5th floor that helped me and cared for me were great! This includes the nursing assistants, the cafeteria employees, the housekeeping personnel, the PT specialists - all who took time to assist me so well! God bless you all! I thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤

I began at ER at the Lakes for suspected appendicitis. I was immediately seen, put in a room, given IV fluids for dehydration, meds for my nausea, labs drawn, and a CT scan ordered. Dr. James soon confirmed I needed an appendectomy and said the ambulance was on the way. Wow! Astonishing, it all happened so quickly.! Before I left, I was admitted, to Southern Hills, given a Covid test then taken to the hospital. Upon, arrival I was immediately taken to pre-op. Staff in both places were professional, skilled and compassionate. After an overnight stay I was released the next day. Absolutely the best medical experience I have had. Thank You so much!

All the doctors and nurses were great and very attentive especially considering the overwhelming number of patients. Spending nearly 48 hours on a bed in the emergency department hallway was quite a challenge. The providers did their best but quality of care was definitely affected. I made the decision to leave and return in order to get some rest and be able to take a shower, etc at home before surgery. When I did return, the follow through to get me into a room was done quickly and efficiently. Overall, I was happy with the hospital due to the staff.

The staff in the ER were all very kind and helpful. I was taken in quickly and it appeared my needs were being quickly addressed with diagnostics. I fear it was an expensive visit and have not yet received a bill that I will have to pay as my insurance does not cover amounts up to the first $8700. In the end, they found a mass that will require further study but missed the cause of all of my severe pain. Shingles was eliminated as the cause of all of my pain because there were no visible rash/sores yet they did begin to emerge the next day and continue to cause great discomfort. After a visit to my GP Dr., two days later, I have been prescribed an anti viral, the pain reliever prescribed during my ER visit has had limited effect.

Thank you to Southern Hills Hospital, Charge Ezrah and Gillian for helping my mom Kyong. They were so kind, and took care of my mom beyond our expectations. I highly recommend the hospital for anyone trying to get good care for their loved one.

Nothing but positive from admit to discharge. Response to concern was timely and all appropriate tests were done quickly and efficiently. The ER doctor (Dr. Michelson) was friendly, professional, and reassuring. Upon discharge he made a quick stop to make sure there were no questions and that I was satisfied with care etc. I am a nurse and felt very satisfied with care given. Would recommend.

From the moment we checked in staff was attentive and friendly. They paid attention to everything I had to say, and concern I had. Nurse and doctor explained every procedure and everything that was going to be done.they made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. I didn't have to wait so long which was amazing since prior experiences in other hospitals I've had to be there almost all day. Everyone was just on point with everything they had to do. Very impressed and very happy.

We enjoyed our stay at Southern Hills. Had a positive L&D (labor and delivery) experience here, and found our stay here to be more pleasant vs. other major hospitals throughout Vegas including Summerlin Hospital, St Rose (Dignity Health), & Sunrise (though they’re under the same company). The staff was wonderful and attentive (especially nurses CC & Robyn), we felt well cared for. My newborn was thoroughly checked, and I appreciated how nurse CC held my hands when I got my Epidural - the experience is always so creepy to me. Our final bill was good, we didn’t check out feeling like we were gouged. Grateful for Southern Hills, I think it’s my favorite hospital in Vegas, if that’s a thing. Thank you, Southern Hills staff 😇

My recovery Nurse Esther was a true sweetheart. She took excellent care of me. All of the birders after we’re nice too. But she was the one I will never forget!

The Emergency Room Doctors, Nurses and Triage were wonderful. I literally had no wait. As soon as I got into where they actually treat patients, I was given 5 star treatment. The staff was kind, and saw I was in distress. They had smiles and comforted me in a very situation. I was admitted for one night and the 4th floor Nurses were friendly and took care of me like they would their own families. I applaud the nurses on that floor. I was able to relax and they answered my questions with no hesitation. Thanks so much to everyone that helped me through my health crisis.

Best doctors and a truly wonderful, nice, and caring staff. I was treated so well compared to other hospitals I’ve been too, If anything were to happen to me, that’s where I’d go. I’d trust them with my life. Nice and clean facility. I had a laminectomy here.

Check in at Emergency was exceptional. Literally no wait time, quick attention by several staff members to address my condition. SH would have received 5 stars if it wasn’t for the holding area for ER patients. It became crowded and the exposure to other ER conditions in close proximity of others. The ER doctors and PA were very good and attentive to patients needs.

We had a fantastic experience in the 3rd fl ICU. Our Nightime nurse Sandra was great. All the rest of the nurses were great. We even took cupcakes up to them to thank them. Our only issue was that we were moved to a regular room about 1pm but nobody knew what was happening. We were told that they did not know that we were there. They thought we were already discharged! Overall, a fantastic experience.

I recently had outpatient surgery at this hospital. I am smart enough to know that it takes many people to make things go smoothly, and many of the staff members were lovely! The nurse assigned to me was awful and I felt totally dismissed during a 3-4 hour delay in my surgery. I will never go there again. I liked and trusted my dr., otherwise I would have walked out!

I had a great experience! From ER staff who took good care of me from the start special mention Nurse Ellise for being compassionate & patient with me. To Nurse Mommy for getting me ready for my surgery & the nurses who helped her. To Dr. Rayls, Dr. Wang & the nurses who assisted during my surgery. To Nurse Claire who was with me when I woke up after my surgery. To the Male nurse whose name I forgot at the Recovery Area. To Nurse Paul the first nurse I had when I got to my room and the nurses who took good care of me whose names I can’t remember. The whole team was amazing! I AM TRULY GRATEFUL TO ALL OF YOU GUYS FOR GIVING ME THE BEST CARE POSSIBLE. HAVE A BLESSED NEW YEAR❤️❤️❤️

I gave birth in this hospital and let me tell you what an AMAZING experience this was. The entire staff was amazing, very attentive and compassionate. They made sure that my baby was well taken care of always asking my husband and me if my baby needed more formula, diapers, wipes, etc. The also made sure my husband was comfortable since he stayed with me throughout my entire stay. The way they cared for me was heartwarming, they were so patient and caring. I had a c section so they were constantly checking up on my incision making sure I was healing properly. They were constantly asking if I needed anything, from iced water (after C-section of course) to if I was good with towels, food, or pillows. My husband was blown away with they’re wonderful service and so was I. If I hadn’t cut my tubes out and I were to have another baby, this hospital would be the hospital I’d go to again. There would be no questions about it.

I had an incredible experience during my delivery at Southern Hills Hospital, and I am so grateful for the exceptional care I received from the wonderful nursing staff. In the labor room, Nurse Hailey’s kindness and attentive care made a significant difference. She went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable and well-cared for. After the delivery, in the recovery room, Nurse Sabrina continued the trend of outstanding care. She did an amazing job not only taking care of me but also ensuring the well-being of my precious baby boy. Her dedication and compassion were truly remarkable. During a challenging moment when my son required care in the NICU, Nurse Lina stepped in with her expertise and unwavering support. She not only provided excellent care to our son but also patiently answered all of our questions, alleviating our concerns during a stressful time. I can't thank all the staff enough for their kindness and assistance, but Nurses Hailey, Sabrina, and Lina truly went above and beyond. Their dedication to their patients is truly commendable, and I am so grateful for their extraordinary care. I would wholeheartedly choose to deliver at Southern Hills Hospital again with my second child, as my experience there was exceptional. Thank you to the entire hospital staff for their hospitality and making the birth of my baby boy a positive and memorable experience.

Thank you to the wonderful overnight nurses of L&D. My son was born 10/25/23 just around 40 minutes after arriving. I arrived having contractions every 3-4 minutes. The nurses were moving so quick to get me settled in and prepared. I went from 4cm to 9cm in a span of 15 min. My husband went to drop our son off downstairs with my father in law. Thank you to nurse Kristen for allowing me to hug her and poor women while pushing I also grasped her shirt/hand very tight . Thank you for putting up with me in a vulnerable time. I can’t remember all the nurses names but it was at 5am & they were all amazing, they were so funny and so real. Postpartum Care was also very great. Constantly monitoring/checking in on our family ❤️
