VERY rude manager Brittany who supposed to be customer oriented and be helpful, not disrespectful. She immediately went on attacking like it’s my fault she didn’t get any messages. Day care center requested a medical record for my mom 3 times, with the fax confirmation, but no response. I left message twice - no call back for a week. Manager blamed a phone system but I had exactly same issues with this office before. You only get results if you go there personally every time and complain. And they still rude, instead of trying to listen calmly and understand my frustration. Not a pleasant person and doing a bad impression representing the business.

AVOID, honestly read the reviews before going because this place is literally one of the worst offices I’ve seen in my life. I took my chances here and have been seen 4 times and every single time they have always mess up something . Such as having to wait over 2 months for a prior authorization, to being charged incorrect copays and deductibles. As someone who also works in the medical field I know how hard it has been with Covid and everyone being short staffed but this isn’t the issue of being short staffed this is pure negligence on every aspect. My last straw was when they made me wait 2 hours to been seen by a provider to get a medication refill. The medication was never sent and I had to continuously keep calling to check on the status of why the prescription was not yet. Each day ended with “ don’t worry , we promise it will get sent “ without it ever being sent. At this point I called the other office only to have them tell me I would have to see another Dr and pay another copay because the provider I had seen was not allowed to prescribe those medications. I had asked several times to talk to a manager who is apparently always busy and will not pick up the phone. Long story short I ended up seeing Dr. Forte ( which I had to wait for 2 hours to be seen because she was so behind ) only for her to come talk to me in a very condescending manner for 10 minutes . This place is like the owner rude, unorganized, and Overall a waste of time . The only thing they are good at is taking your money. On the side note there are some really good staff which I really appreciated.

I just left there. Please believe all the horrible reviews. I have been coming here for over 13 years, but all of a sudden, they couldn't find my insurance. I showed them my App with the card, but they said they couldn't find it in their system. They wanted me to call the insurance and write down a reference number. I called and of course the insurance was closed at 7am. Don't even waste your time going. They will play the insurance game to try and get people to leave (because they have overbooked or overwhelmed). They are hoping you will offer to pay cash because you are sick and want relief. Scam. Don't fall for it. I could have easily paid cash, but I chose to walk out and not come back. The lady next to me paid the cash. Nope!

I scheduled with Forte Family Practice out of sheer desperation, as all other Primary Care Providers that I called were booked up until August. I'm having severe nerve issues, causing my entire left side to go numb, with weakness and pain. I was hoping somehow all of the other bad reviews weren't accurate, or were situational. I was surprised when I first arrived for my appointment, I only waited 10 minutes, and Nicki at the front desk was super sweet, cordial and helpful. The technician Ann took me back to get my vitals, and she was really the highlight of my day - amazingly sympathetic, understanding, personable and simply a fantastic technician. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop, I had read the reviews, what was all of the criticism stemming from? There was even a sign posted at the front desk, mentioning a drawing if you left a good review on Google. I met with Dr. Melissa Moore, who was prompt, compassionate, and immediately gave me a referral to a specialist, as well as a referral for an MRI and Physical Therapy, and a prescription for medication to deal with the pain. She took my condition more seriously than I did, and went above and beyond. Her bedside manner was impeccable! So why the one star review? It's now been over two weeks since my appointment, and the follow up from Forte Family is abysmal. Nonexistent. Five stars for ghosting patients. One star for being an unapproachable, unreliable medical Practice. The physical therapy referral they gave me is unfortunately useless, as the physical therapy doesn't accept my insurance, so I've been requesting a referral for a different place, with no response from Forte. My medication was apparently prescribed as tablet, when it's only available in capsule form, so I've been calling daily to have them change the prescription, as the pharmacy is unable to fill it as is. So I've been in excruciating pain, calling every day and unable to get through to anyone. I've left countless messages. Finally, after a week I went into the practice in person, because I was unable to reach anyone via phone. I was given a slip of paper to leave a note, and the two front desk ladies were chilly, downright rude and dismissive. How did I have such a great first time appointment?! Now, I'm done waiting. It's clear that the welfare of their patients is not top priority, as is obvious from the many similar reviews. While Dr Moore, Ann and Nicki were genuine and amazing, three people can't save the whole practice from obviously crumbling, unfortunately. Save yourself the frustration, the waiting for weeks, and schedule with another Primary Care Provider, one who's proficient and cares about your wellbeing. The chaos and unprofessional care here isn't worth your time.

Almost 20 years ago, I wrote a review for Forte’s practice. I said there were wonderful doctor there (Dr. Nardell, who opened his own practice thank god) and that she had “the worst office staff in the valley”. The staff were incompetent and nothing short of abusive. To everyone. I was the first person to write something critical of Dr. Forte and it wasn’t even about her, circa 2005. After reading my review, as soon as it posted, she cornered me in the exam room during my next appointment and threatened to sue me for slander because I wrote that review and she does not agree. Hilariously, people are STILL complaining about her staff! They still give the same excuses they did two decades ago. The worst thing about the situation is that I wrote her a positive review, complimenting her and the other doctors. “Worst Office Staff in the Valley!” was the title. The review said how great the docs were, but the office staff made it so it wasn’t worth it anymore. And this is how she acted. As a result of her attempted criminal intimidation, I like to review this practice on as many sites as possible, about every 5 years, to remind Dana Forte that she did that.

Love Dr. Forte! Great Doctor! I have been a patient close to 20 years. Unfortunately, there has been a huge turnover with her office staff in the last 2 years. These changes have made office and follow thru visits less than pleasant. But not fault of the Doctors. More staff development and training is desperately needed!

Don’t just walk away from this practice, RUN with your broken leg!!! I made an appointment at this practice to find a primary care doctor in February. I liked the PA Carly but she recommended I start a prescription and she couldn’t write it so I needed to make a return appointment. They made my return appointment with a Dr Dubin a month later, March. During my visit with Dubin, he agree with Carly and wrote a prescription. During this appointment Dubin was very short with my questions and kept his face in his computer and wasn’t personable at all. The next day a call the pharmacy about my meds, they state the prescription was written in a dose that the medication is not made in and they have notified the Dr office for a new one. 4 weeks later, about 4 different prescription sent (3 wrong) and 8-10 phone calls to the Dr office they finally get the correct prescription written. Now my insurance denies meds due to needing a pre authorization (PA) done. Insurance send Dr office the form, I leave several VM about completing it and write a message on the Forte web portal, NO RESPONSE to any of this and they NEVER complete it. I give up trying to contact them and wait for my follow up appointment in June with Kyle Anderson. I explained my prior experiences and Kyle states he can have the meds approved in 2 weeks if I have another blood test at their office for quick results, so I agree. Another 3 months of them that completing anything and refusing to return my calls, emails, even when I was given the email address to Kyle Anderson’s medical assistant. 7 months later and out of options, I walk into their office and demand to speak with the office manager. I speak with William, who states he just started and give him a chance to make it right after I explain everything. He has the PA completed the next day and sent to my insurance. Pharmacy calls me a few days later and says the PA and prescription dose don’t match so they can’t fill it. Several unanswered/returned phone calls, emails later and another 2 weeks, my pharmacy can finally fill it. THANK GOD THIS WASN’T heart meds or life saving meds!!!! Forte Medical practice should NOT be treating anyone, in my opinion!!! There is NO follow through, follow up or any care after you leave their office. My wife had a follow up appointment with a doctor there also that they called and confirm on Monday. When she showed up to appointment on that Wednesday, they told her that doctor no longer works there. She says, ok I’ll see whoever is seeing taking over that doctor’s patients. They said “no one is and no doctor can see you now”.

The office on Cheyenne is ridiculous with not answering phone calls. I’m always on hold as least 30 minutes and it’s beyond annoying to listen to their message about them knowing your time is valuable and that you can do a call back, to not lose your place “in line” and you probably will never get called back. I was at an appointment for an X-ray, where they put down on the order for the wrong hip and I could not get thru for them to send a correct order, so that I could get my X-ray done for my appointment and they never answered. Sure, they know how valuable the patients time is! NOT! I could not get my X-ray done and still can’t get reach them later in the day to resolve my issue!

I have mixed feelings about them. I had my first appointment with them the other day and so did my mom. Her appointment was at 1pm, they asked us to get there at 1230 to fill out paperwork, which we did. My appointment was at 130. I was seen by 150. The dr was very quick to tell me what was wrong before I even finished explaining all of my symptoms. He suggested bloodwork. And completely ignored my shoulder pain, he said remind him when I come back for my blood work follow up. I finished my appointment by 230. I went to find my mom and she didn’t even see a dr yet! The dr finally came in a few minutes later. She was very nice and informative. But to make my mom wait 1.5hours for her appointment is unacceptable. The staff were all friendly. It was clean but very warm. I give them a 3 star because of their customer service. I definitely give them a 1 star for the wait time.

Stay away, not one doctor here knows what they are doing. I brought my mom, dad and myself here and only disappointments. If you want to be treated like trash be my guest. They lose your information and they never want to submit paperwork for work just lazy. Plus place is falling apart.

Once again I am in the office because they seem to not be able to get my paperwork correct. They continue to provide me with a referral that has my old insurance information on file after I continue to come and provide them with my updated insurance. I have to continue leaving work early to resolve this and I continue to get the run around and the excuse that they have new stuff. My appointment was on 4/3/2023 and still not resolved. This has been the worse experience and the worse staff ever.

My last few appointments at Forte Family Practice on Cheyenne lasted: 3 hours, 3 hours, 2 hours, 3 hours and 2 hours. Each time I only spent between 10 - 15 minutes with the doctor. They kept forgetting that I was there! Definitely going somewhere else!

No wonder this clinic is at 2 stars. The service provided here is real bad. They make rules that don't make sense- in their own convenience. I asked to speak to the manager but was told she was “busy” - yea busy not doing her job!. Anyways they didn’t log in my medication, I waited 3 days. I kept calling and leaving messages and never got a call back!!! I had to come in person just for them to tell me the doctor I seen wasn't around so I had to make another appointment, a real inconvenience for me. I had a covid screening yesterday at an urgent care, brought my results which were negative! They still pretty much forced me to retake a test in their office ( they probably get paid for the covid test) 🙄 keep in mind I'm only here because they messed up!!! and didn't write down my prescription I needed to begin with!! - I am definitely switching providers/ clinic now! Too many inconveniences is a pain in the @ss!

My regular Dr. Joe takes care of my health. He is good. But, on the phone, they offer a poor service. After waiting for 20 or even more minutes, they got my call to interrupt the communication, and never call back. And this is very common. Very disappointing.

I saw a doctor for the first time there last week - get ready for lots of paperwork! Dad said it was a good experience and I wanted to thank Jennifer who works in the office - I had to call today and give them a list of my scripts and she was extremely helpful, efficient, and took down all of my info and really stood out to me as the most helpful of their staff. Thank you Jennifer!

Never see the same doctor twice. When calling you can never get through you have to leave a call back number or wait forever to speak to someone. My visit last week the NP did not put down on my prescriptions the amount and direction on usage so my pharmacy won't fill it without the information. I've been calling, calling to get them to contact the pharmacist. These are my lifesaving medications. All I can say is incompetent people INCHARGE

I first thought great finally a Provider who accepts Medicaid. I have a nice doctor named Kyle. Adderall has been on back order for months. It literally takes minutes to send prescriptions to Pharmacys now days. The Pharmacy I normally use were out of my prescription so I called my doctor's office and updated them with the Pharmacist that did have my prescription in stock. They assured me that they would send it to the updated Pharmacist. It is an urgent matter because I need my medicine and I thought everything was taking care of now that I informed FORTE FAMILY PRACTICE. I call Walgreens and they still don't have the order from my doctor. So I call the doctor's office AGAIN and guess what whoever I talked to STILL DIDN'T UPDATE to the Pharmacist I gave her. This was UNPROFESSIONAL and still you would think they would try there hardest to get my prescription to the right Pharmacist seeing they are the reason I still don't have my prescription due to whoever I talked to on the phones negligence and lying to me telling me she put it in the notes. I still don't have my prescription sent to the Pharmacist and I'm currently waiting for FORTE FAMILY PRACTICE at this moment on hold. My first impression why are you guys rated on review so low. Now it's starting to make sense. You don't care about the customer. It's just a job to you guys.

I recently signed up as a new patient effective 7/1/23 in June. At the beginning of August, I called for an appointment. I waited for 45 minutes to schedule an appointment and was told they didn’t have me in their system. I called my Insurance who verified I was enrolled w Forte Family Practice. So, I called back and waited another 45 minutes to get through to be told that they needed me to fill out New Patient paperwork. Why wasn’t I told that on my first call? They scheduled me for a lab appointment. I tested positive for Covid on a home test and struggled for a week with all of the symptoms. I needed some medicine to help me get over the illness. When I arrived, I informed the Lady at the front desk that I had Covid-19. Much to my surprise, no precautions were taken. I sat in the lobby for an hour waiting for a lab test (Covid) before medicine would be administered. I sat as far away as I could from several elderly patients in the lobby. When I was finally called back, I waited another twenty minutes for the test. I was not feeling well. The Nurse came in and did not take any vitals nor did she take my temperature. Just gave me a quick Covid test. I waited another hour for the PA (Kyle) to come in. He didn’t introduce himself. He asked me why I didn’t come in earlier. I explained that I had been completely wiped out from Covid. He told me my results were negative and that he couldn’t give me any medicine due to my results. I went home and took another Covid test I recently received and was positive again along with having a low grade fever! A few days later, my husband tested positive. Obviously, I received very poor care and waited over two hours for absolutely no help. What bothered me the most was the lack of concern of spreading the virus. The lack of care (no vitals or temperature taken) and the lack of concern or empathy from the Provider. I’m very disappointed in the overall service from my first call to get an appointment, to the lack of precautions taken at the front desk to the lack of care I received from the Nurse and the Provider! I waisted over two hours feeling very sick to get poor service.

Just got back from there and didn't even get seen. They acted like they couldn't take my insurance when I've been there before. Waited over an hour for absolutely nothing. Both receptionists acted like they didn't know what they were doing. I had to call my insurance multiple times and they said that the office should be able to take my insurance but they didnt. Instead tried to set me up with an out of network provider. Supervisor was supposed to come out but never did. I'm never coming here again. This place needs to be shut down. I can't find any other doctor from any other office because there aren't any recent appointments.

If I could have rated it at a negative star, it would have been just that. The treatment of a 90% disabled vet with PTSD unacceptable. Front desk is rude not helpful. They don't fix issues and just move on to the next. Sitting waiting for labs, first ones in,not seen yet as they more than 1.5 hours can't get the paperwork right. Would not recommend it to anyone. Front desk staff need a lesson in customer service.

Went to this horrific office on 9/2023. Saw a new incompetent PA whom was still apparently under the doctor. They charged me $50 to see her when it should’ve been $5. She couldn’t even fill my migraine prescription right let alone know anything about medicine. Per my insurance this office owes me $50 back since they couldn’t even bill the appointment right. I’ve been calling there for 3 months you can’t ever get a return call or anyone to answer the phone. PLEASE read the reviews and don’t go here it’s the worst place I’ve ever experienced!

Recently I was seen by Joseph Eafrate, PAC. It was a short visit, but he did an excellent job in Communicating with me, & helped me w/ a Back "Shot" for my terrible on going back pain. And later, on my Rtn visit he helped by (Refering me) to a Pain Clinic, following an MRI to be evaluated for a Surgical Pain Shot that I need so very bad. Thank u PA Joseph. 👍

Malyssa Moore is by far the best provider I have ever met. She is absolutely a delight and ACTUALLY listens to me. I’ve been to 20+ providers in Nevada and hands down she is the absolutely best. Book with her immediately. He’s worth it 100%

I love my doctor (Dana Forte). She is such a great doctor. I was there today and had a great experience all around. The front desk was pleasant, the lab was awesome, and of course Dr Forte and the assistants were great. Thank you for such a great visit and was able to get it done on my lunch break. They are the best.

Terrible experience. You have lost me as a patient after all of this time. Look at some of the other reviews here. I tried to rectify my situation by asking for the office administrator for days after. Nada. Nothing in the way of even the courtesy of a phone call. It is impossible to get through on the phone. It is impossible to get an appointment with my doctor. When I accepted an appointment for a different doctor because I was desperate to get my high blood pressure medication refilled. I came in with very high blood pressure and chest pains. My vitals were never taken. I say again my vitals were never taken, she did not have my file and admitted she was unfamwith me or why I was there. I told her I was feeling dizzy and naseaus. I was in pain a d was having chest pains. The doctor I was seeing only wanted to talk about her other patients and how they ask her for pain medication. And that she has a "panel" of favorite patients she only prescribes medications for pain for. "She's tired of the DEA looking into her?? Who says that? To a patient of all people. I was in extreme pain and I was asking for medication to help me sleep until I got back in with my pain specialist. Two weeks away. I have seizures. When I dont sleep I have auroas and my blood pressure goes sky high. I was asking for a Toradol shot to relieve the cramping and spasms in my lower back along with a refill on my blood pressure medicine. Which I never got. Never took my vitals. Never cared about chest pains. The doctor without my permission called in a completely different blood pressure medication that I have never heard of. What the heck??DO not go to this practice. They are terrible and they do not care about their patients. I am filing a report with NV Medicaid. I am done advocati g for Forte, I hear constantly bad things when others Sk me who my primary practice is. And you know what sucks?? My regular doctor who I can't see....has been nothing Nothing but amazing to me. It's just a sad situation. What this practice has become. What Dana Forte has allowed to happen.

I love this place ! I don’t understand the negative reviews, I been coming here as a patient since 2016 so it has been 7 years . I changed several docs but they were all good and I never had a problem with the front desk people. Actually, they are impressive! Very nice and professional, always fast and they always treated me nicely because I give them respect first !!! All these people that complains about the office staff, how are you treating them ? Are you being disrespectful and impatient? Well sorry but they are not there to get abused by you , they are just doing their job at their best capabilities. Also , I agree on the phone it’s almost impossible to get to speak with someone but with the call back option I get someone to call me back within 2 h ! So that works for me , if I need an answer immediately I just go there in person and they resolve it for me . I been taking recently my 2 kids there as well , always good experiences and great patient care !

Doctor didn’t fill my medication they assistant was supposed to send it in and never did almost 6 weeks ago. I leave messages for the refill line and no one calls in my medicine and pharmacy is not allowed to request a refill. I call and I’m on hold forever and then they hang up. The stress this place has put me under is not cool. I leave messages for call back on hold and still nothing. When I go in for an appointment it’s usually quiet and no phones being answered. I’m so confused as to how they can do this to people. It’s medicine for my anxiety and not a controlled substance either because I’m in recovery for addiction so this medication helps me sleep and stable. I’m so upset.

I had nothing but issues getting my prescriptions done correctly. They said Kimberly is one of the office managers. She is nothing but DISGUSTING. To know that this clinic would hire someone as horribly as she is shows this is not the Doctor office I would want for myself or my family. Fire Kimberly and this clinic will improve considerable.

BEWARE Kimberly is a compulsive liar. I ended up in the emergency room from the neglect of not getting my medication correct. Kimberly lies and try’s to cover up for the clinic. I filed a complaint against DrForte medical license hopefully the outcome results in her license being suspended. It will be a victory for all the people who get treated like trash from this clinic. The reviews are horrendous on google. This place is so disgusting even my pharmacy says there nothing but a major problem and risk to people safety and health there always calling them to correct prescriptions. The refferal specialist they refer me too say everyone comes in here complaining about the horrible service they provided . Hopefully by the time I’m done with them Kimberly fired.

To start off, this place is horrific. I went to get BLOOD PRESSURE medicine, a guy took my blood pressure and said it was PERFECT. I am sure it was not a medical miracle, so I told the PA who came to see me to retake it, and it was 165. What a joke. Second, sent me to get a test, never followed up on the results, & when I came for my follow up appointment they never even had looked at my results. HAD TO GO BACK 2 TIMES to get my results. My last attempt at this place (I will never be back again) was horrible of course. They were running about 2 hours behind. I was sitting in the lobby for 2 HOURS, and when I asked to get my copay back to leave, the lady at the front desk with blonde hair (in a bun) was trying to make me feel stupid. She said that they were going to charge me a cancellation fee. When I asked to speak to billing it was the contrary. They waved everything. NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE!! THESE RATINGS ARE WHAT THEY DESERVE!!
