Save your self and go in different hospital. Itā€™s meaning the charge nurses look social media when my husband ring the phone. They donā€™t answerā€¦ :( The doctor disappearā€¦ and you never got your results. This place is dirty and lower professional, itā€™s subpar. The score will be negative. Last the Zero. They wrote call for assistance but this is complete Joke. I went and saw the 6 people in the Nurse Station, and they no able answer the phone and the NURSE in Charge SEAT beside the phone sheā€™s looks at social media when question sheā€™s put the 2 cellphone in the packageā€¦ I hear they have conversations about personal lifeā€¦. If in my country sheā€™s Fared sheā€™s completely unprofessional. The pictures says at all. 7th floor room 734 at hospital. Itā€™s very frustrating and stressful. Thatā€™s it.

Hospital is good but some of there nurses are rude and also some of the nurses need training especially the new people interns too. They take for every to feed you hire more people. Then why some of the interns and nurses act like they don't know what they are doing smh. The person that's over the whole Hospital needs to make rounds to see what his nurses and interns are doing. But all in all good Hospital. Also it took two days for my husband to get a room that made me so mad he was very sick. Do better

Poorly managed, overcrowded, and severely understaffed. I've been "admitted" through the ER here twice in 2 months.... totaling about a dozen days. The care you get in "overflow" is subpar at best. The accommodations the ONE night I got a real bed and room were nice, and the nurses upstairs were friendly. My surgeon had zero bedside manor, which is not a reflection of the hospital but still was another part of multiple bad experiences here. The wait time will be HOURS.

I went in through the ER and they decided to admit me. a couple days later the ER doctor wanted to release me yet I said absolutely not since I didn't feel any better than when I first went in. I then had an MRI and a surgeon came up and told me they had to do emergency surgery because I had a tumor wrapped around my spine. I then had surgery which went well I was in the hospital 19 days. and was very impressed with the knowledge of the staff the professionalism and the care that I received. I would recommend this hospital I was able to talk to the doctors tell them what I needed and they were able to take care of my concerns and my needs. I also had a couple requests and they were able to have those taken care of as well. my oncologist came in to visit me and recommended a medication to start as well and they added that to my medicines. I believe in being your own advocate and if you are they listen.

If I could give this hospital a -5 thatā€™s how many stars it deserves. Dr Patel if you donā€™t want to take care of black patients just say that! My daughter has been under your care and authority for 4 days. She has been laying in the Er holding area for 4 days. While there you barely want to distribute IV pain meds to her because of your implicit biases. You were very condescending when speaking to her. You stereotyped her, you took her off her medicine that works because you used your biases to try to get her to leave the hospital before she feels better. I guess your goal is to make the patient so uncomfortable that they would want to leave the hospital. Sickle cell patients should NEVER have to deal with doctors like him. From my experience, there are other doctors just like him that does the same protocol with black patients. Centennial Hospital your doctors need to do better!

My grandmother sadly passed away at this hospital and Stacey I from the ICU was our nurse the night it happened on 11/12-11/13/22. She was unpleasant and unprofessional in the manner she handled our grieving family. She made a very insensitive comment which I do not wish to repeat after my grandmother was taken off her life support. I made sure to correct her and remind her that although her job is hard, itā€™s much harder to sit there and endure the pain of watching your family member passing away. I requested that she show some compassion and not make any insensitive remarks such as the one that was made. Although she was apologetic, I no longer felt comfortable there. All the other nurses were wonderful, but Stacey needs to consider finding a new job, as I feel this isnā€™t quite fitting for her.

This hospital has by far given the worst experience. My uncle passed away because they were to incompetent to run the right test and didnā€™t want to do anything. That same day my uncle passed my mom had a stroke in the same room. They didnā€™t care for her with ease. Itā€™s almost like they were annoyed that they had to deal with her medical episode. In the ER my sister had to yell at the nurses because they didnā€™t want to check my mom and that they only check once every 4 hours. We finally got a real nurse with a heart to check my mom and her blood pressure was extremely high that they had to give her insulin. This hospital does not care about the human being they are treating. They only see it as an extra head to add to their government funding applications. Donā€™t come here if you want to live or see a family member live. Horrible hospital to treat your loved ones in

The doctor assigned to my case was not listening to me at all. I have blood pressure issues and he kept asking why I didn't have a pacemaker. I have been sitting in the ER for two days waiting for a room. Watched people get sent to rooms who came after me, at least one with the same issues. I say one because the person in "room" 11 next to me was waiting on the same tests. Charge nurse Alex and floor supervisor Eugene stated that the rooms are assigned by patient fit. I don't see how this can be true. Will never come back here. I am still sitting in "room" 10 waiting as I have for two days.

My sister...Thought I'd share this for her sake and others who may want to go to this hospital!! And receive 95% poor care from the staff. Visiting my daughter at Centennial Hospital, I have visited Saturday through Tuesday when Iā€™m off. Not once have anyone offered to help her with daily hygiene!! No wash clothes no change of bedding or gown. I had to ask for linen to change her bed and a new gown. What happened to the days of caring and compassion for your patient. Now itā€™s all about passing meds and vitals! I know ALL the hospitals are short staffed, however itā€™s NOT your patientā€™s fault!! Feeling frustrated!!

Worst hospital staff in America. I came in ER with a fracture ankle. I was placed in a corner bed without a call light, and the curtains totally closed without a view. The nurses on the floor are lazy, and totally unprofessional. I ask too see the charge nurse, and she never came to assist me. I was given medications to take without dinner or breakfast. They barely gave me water. Never assisted me to the restroom. The patient bed next to me was screaming for pain medication, vomiting and complain of chest pain. The staff totally ignored her, and refused her patient rights. All of us was crying for help. Someone need to get off their butt, and go do a hospitsl and inspection before the hospital be facing a major lawsuit soon.

Completely atrocious ER. My friend went sledding and broke 4 ribs. Went here and not only did the staff not give him painkillers after an hour of waiting in the lobby, he had to be wheeled out of the xray room all the way back to the lobby to get them. After getting X-rays, the doctor didnā€™t even show him the X-ray results, and just gave him a link to view it online. The online link didnā€™t work - it said we were not authorized to sign in and view it; we had to go back to the hospital to make an account and view it. Quite literally youā€™re almost better off performing self surgery. If there is any option at all to not go here, DO NOT GO HERE.

Be extremely cautious when dealing with this hospital's administrative and billing departments. While I have no qualms about the medical care providedā€”indeed, the medical staff took excellent care of my wife and sonā€”the administrative inefficiencies and billing issues are staggering. I am posting this in the hope that it may help others or catch the attention of someone higher up in the organization. Let's begin with my son's birth in October 2022. He had to stay in the NICU due to jaundice and other complications. He was discharged once his levels improved, only to be readmitted less than 24 hours later when a follow-up visit revealed his jaundice numbers had skyrocketed. The hospital's COVID-19 policy required us to keep our infant in the ER for several hours for testing, exposing him to the very virus they aimed to screen for. Despite the absurdity of the situation, all I got from the staff was that they had to "follow policy." It was evident that even the doctors were frustrated. Fast forward to almost a year later, and I am still grappling with the hospital's billing department. Despite a contractual agreement with my insurance to reduce one of our pre-birth visits to a $0 balance, the hospital continues to bill us for the full amount. My calls to resolve this matter have been met with incompetence and bureaucratic red tape. Even after providing multiple authorizations, they claim they can't find them and refuse to let me speak to a supervisor. To anyone in a decision-making role reading this, I urge you to review your administrative and billing practices. It's been an exhausting ordeal trying to resolve these issues, and I doubt I'm the only one facing them. Update: I finally had someone reach out to me to help me get in contact with administrators who could help me. They were able to take care of the issues I had with the billing department. I was also informed that since my son's NICU stay they had implemented new practices so that infants coming in to the ER are put into a quarantine area in the NICU so that they are not exposed to the ER. I am very happy to finally receive a resolution to this issue and have updated my rating to 3 stars due to the professionalism of the administrative staff I spoke to.

I donā€™t like when people provide me or my family bad service in general, but when itā€™s at the ER and someone is really sick itā€™s totally unacceptable. People like the nurse, Bree here at Centennial Hills Hospital shouldnā€™t be working in the medical field. We brought our daughter here, long delays to see a Dr, to get prescribed meds, and even to just get the discharge papers. The nursing staff just simply didnā€™t seem to have any urgency.

If you have a true emergency do NOT go here. My husband went in because he couldnā€™t breathe. The nurse Robyn B. was terrible to him, she wouldnā€™t listen to anything he said ( he could barely speak) it took her at least 10 times to get a needle in his arm for blood work, once she got it in she removed it from his arm knowing he would need an IV later on, the second nurse also had the hardest time finding a vain and couldnā€™t tell me why Robyn removed the IV to begin with. The nurse Robyn B. Was extremely aggressive doing a Covid test on him. If you see her ask for a different nurse. She is rude or incompetent or both! Do not come here if you need good care.

I was there on 7/1/23 and in great disconfort. They offer no help...If I can give 0 star, I would however it is not fair as they have some few good people who offers sincere help to their patients...other than that, the wait was too long - they are not cut out to be emergency. They make you do all test that not even necessary for your treatment. And your treatment don't even happen...fir the second time really disappointing experience with this emergency...will never come back...

My daughter went into the hospital because she was having extreme H.G symptoms from her pregnancy.?she is 14 weeks. They made her sit in the lobby for 6 hours taking a saline drip then after all of this time the nurse came out and asked her what does she think , she told them she still feels the same as when she came in and the nurse told her oh because you are going to be out here in the lobby for the rest of the night. My daughter said she did not want to do that and the nurse stated well let me get your discharge papers ready. The worst. As her mom on was not able to stay with her they were not allowing anyone in the lobby due to Covid I was on the with her when I heard the interaction. Awful

If I was able to rate this hospital a 0 I definitely would! I was here for 9-10 hours, most the time I was just waiting for results or for someone to give me some kind of pain medication. They had chairs lined up and had me and other patients sit there WAITING for hours for someone. What had me shock were patients coming from ambulance having to sit on a CHAIR while they are literally crying for help! They had some patients put in rooms (some of them could've waited while more severe ones could've gone) Lots of nurses and doctors didn't read some peoples charts and gave them stuff that their ALLERGIC to. I didn't get to leave till literally 2:00am and all they told me was everything was fine, even though I was still having such a hard time and left crying. I could honestly go on and on about all the terrible things I saw here. Please if you are struggling badly PLEASE go to another hospital near by!

We will not be coming back to this emergency room! Terrible terrible terrible! Not only do they not take care of you or anyone they also have awful communication between staff. They have continuously called patients numerous times who are already in the back being assessed/treated and staff doesnā€™t notify each other that the patient has already been called back. We checked in at 9pm and it is currently 2:27 at and we are still waitingā€¦. My husband and I waited a total of 5+ hours. It has taken them over an hour for them to check his vitals, waited another hour after for them to take him back and ā€œassessā€ him then sent him back out to be shortly ā€œdischargedā€ā€¦.. still waiting 3 whole hours to be discharged!! Not only am I complaining about my husband whoā€™s throat was swollen and closing his airway so he couldnā€™t breathe AT ALL! There has been elders here who need stitches or kids waiting for their broken foot to be taken care of who have been here since we got here!

I first want to say that the doctors and nurses are amazing at this hospital; however due to poor hospital management, they are overwhelmed and overworked. My husband was admitted three days ago to through the ER and he still sits in the ER. There are no beds available upstairs, and while that may sound like it's because there are so many sick patients upstairs, that is not the case. It's because they do not have the staffing available to retain the overworked nurses to open up the beds. Many nurses are working several days overtime due to the shortage. The hospital administration needs to do better for their workers because it's affecting patient care. My husband, despite the best efforts of the nurses and his doctors cannot get what he needs be because an ER is not staffed with the necessary resources he needs. Three days on an ER gurney and he has moved to four different ER rooms. Hospital admin-due better!

My labor and delivery experience was horrible, donā€™t get me wrong some of my nurses were amazing!! And the other three not so much.. I had to go in for an unexpected induction due to my blood pressure being high.. my first nurses were amazing!! I remember one named Ashley and I loved her. Now this other nurse I donā€™t remeber her name. But she was an older lady with short blonde maybe grey hair. And she was so rude to me. When I had to push she was telling me I was pushing wrong and to stop making faces.. I asked her when is dr Kasar coming and she goes donā€™t worry about it she doesnā€™t come til the baby is almost out. I didnā€™t want this kind of nurse while I was having my baby she made it so horrible.. after pushing and pushing I knew my body couldnā€™t do it and she told me you have to do it u have no choice.. I told her I wanna have a c section cause I knew my baby wasnā€™t coming out . She was so rude she made me cry. I know if I had someone else a different nurse it wouldā€™ve went a lot better . She just puts u down and talks to u poorly.. I did end up having a c section and dr told me I made the right decision cause I wasnā€™t gonna get that baby out.. Iā€™m small. 4ā€™10 and pre pregnancy 106 pounds .. not to mention after having my baby 3 months later I found out they had left something inside of me which traumatized me even more.. I have ptsd from this all and Terrified to have another baby at this hospital under the dr and that mean nurse. That belittled me.. birth was supposed to be amazing but they made it scary for me..

Wouldnt recommend bringing your children here! Brought my 4 year old in for vomitting/ fever and lethargy. Was happening 14 hours STRAIGHT prior to coming to ER. With no success on holding any fluids, or able to break fever. Was told to sit in the waiting room and that they would find someone to bring him something. An hour later and my baby is puking and sleeping in a chair. With NO meds given for fever. Multiple adults are being called back while we are stuck in a chair. I also should add he has ASD and elopes, also pretty sure they sat two people with Covid in the waiting room with us. This place is an absolute joke. I have NEVER been to a hospital that has done this. 0 stars deserved.

Went to ER because I have had a high heart rate and was recommended to go by my primary dr. I have been suffering from hypertension for a couple of weeks now and with just walking in my home heart gets between 140 to 156 bpm. Dr said all tests he ran look good like EKG, blood, xray and recognizes heart rate goes very high and I get chest pain because of it. This is where I not only laugh on drs face but his ability. He grabbed at straws saying might be dehydration. None of my test results suggest it either and I told the dr that I drink 3 to 5 liters of water every day. He then said to me "no you don't cause I would drown" at this point I pulled a 1 liter bottle out of my backpack looked at the nurse and said can you drink 3 to 5 of these a day. Even to the other patients in the waiting room. Everyone said yes including the nurse who also added that I should be drinking at least a gallon of water a day. A gallon is 3.7 liters I commented. Then the patients and the staff made jokes about drowning. I wish this was the only thing wrong with this dr but let's just say I can wrote a short novel on his bad practices, not listening to the patient and overall not caring so it would make this 10 times longer to explain. I would just stay away from this hospitals ER. Or the hospital all together.

Excellent care. The Dr.s and nurses at Centennial Hills Hospital saved my life this week! I especially want to thank the ER doctor for catching my issue before my gallbladder burst and everyone from emergency surgery to the amazing aftercare on the third floor. They were the kindest Drs and nurses I could ever ask for!

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not bring your loved ones here if you want them to get better. Go literally anywhere else. The nurses do not check on patients and will not speak to a family member more than once in a 12 hour period. Husband has been in this hospital for five days now and I have gotten to speak to a doctor one time and then flat out told by a doctor they will not be calling me. I do not get updates on tests they run or his treatment plan. There are days where it feels like this hospitals negligence is making him sicker. At one point he was running his head under cold sink water in his room because he could not get a nurse to respond to this calls for meds. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU VALUE LIFE.

Nurses are untrained completely to the point of urgency is not shown. My mother went from IMC to normal ward on November 5th where she found her bed sunken in and destroyed to the point where she now has bed sores. Improper practice for IV handling to the point of broken blood vessels and bruising. The urine catheter container was filled to the brim for at least a handful of hours. People around the ward were screaming for help to no avail while nurses were laughing and joking at their stations. This is extremely negligent and improper care under the health department and CDC. Which both have been made aware of the situation and have been given evidence of this scenario.

They DO NOT comply with HIPPA. They interview the patients in the waiting area of the emergency room. The Doctors and Nurses come out to talk about the patients medical history in front of everybody else. Also, they like to get the patients admited for reasons such as: ā€œif you stay tonight you can have your tests done, first time in the morning ā€œ I had the test at 1:00 p.m. Three years later, 2023, while I was being discharge, a Doctor told me ā€œ I donā€™t feel confortable letting you go home, I recommend at least one or two nights the mostā€. I didnā€™t feel that bad, I already had a prescription and I didnā€™t want to stay. Then, the Dr. said ā€œ People dies of thatā€ obvious, after that comment the sale was done! I accepted to be admitted. The next two days everything was fine with me. On the third day, I expected to be discharged and the Dr. Told me that he had to wait for another test result. Even when he already knew what was the bacteria causing the infection. During my two days of stay all I got was a shot of antibiotics every 12 hours and a couple of blood tests. Final bill for MEDICARE $60,000 + for two days of unnecessary hospital stay.

Currently a patient on the 3rd floor & on yesterday oct 15 a charge nurse called a code grey to my room stating that i was throwing things. I was never combative but she sent security to my room & they came in aggressive & escalated. All because i was cryi ng from the pain i am in.. The charge nurse have no integrity & if she lied about a fake threat, what else will she lie about.. The officers tried to attack me but another staff jumped in beyween this guard.. im suffering with ca4diac issues & my heart rate was low,, all i was doing in my own room was crying out to GOD. Why would security aggresivly attack a 90lb sick woman. Why would the charge nusre call security on someone crying from pain.. i was not verbally abusive nor was i physically abusive.. run them cameras back. I did recieve an apology from the security supervisor whi mea t a lot but the nurse who caƱled this lie in , need to be held accountable for her lack of integrity.

I've been here 5 days, Monday-Wednesday were great, Thursday, (last night) the person answering the nurse lights decided that it was okay to wait until my nurse got off her break when I told them my blood sugar was low and I needed some juice asap. It took them 20 minutes to get me some juice. It's not like I asked for a glass of water. I've never received such poor service from this hospital, and I've been here many, many times. I waited 2 hours for my medication. I needed benadryl for severe itching and I was about to scratch my skin off. I got no dinner last night, so the CNA made me some broth, my breakfast didn't come this morning, my lunch didn't come and i called. I finally got lunch at 2:46pm. I'm a type 1 diabetic. I'm very disappointed. The staff is usually on top of things and very accommodating. I know we need nurses, but we need good nurses that want to help people, not nurses that just want a paycheck.

I was in the ER early this morning with a potential miscarriage scare. I usually hate going to any ER, but knew I needed to go. From the time I arrived, to the time I left, I was treated with great care by nice compassionate Healthcare workers. I did have a long wait after having tests done, but the doctor did come out and talk to me to explain things. Everything with my baby is great, and I just can't thank the doctor and other employees enough for helping me and listening to me. This was by far the best ER experience I've had.

Had my procedure done on June 14th paid for my deductible in cash. After reviewing my EOB I seen that I had no patient responsibility, and I was due back my deductible that I paid in cash. I called on August 11th and was told my refund request would be submitted and would only take a few weeks I called again on August 25th and was told that they were waiting for verification of my address that I had previously verified on August 11th. Then on August 25th I was told that the person I was speaking to would reach out to the refund team as they had just received it on the 23rd of August. It is now September 1st and I'm still being told that the request was received by their refund team and is still being processed and checks take six to eight weeks from the date they were received I don't know how it takes two weeks to receive a request but they're definitely not trying to give you your money back in a timely manner . The representative I spoke to on the 25th told me that they don't initiate the refunds until it goes through the process of being verified that the correct amount was paid out to the hospital they received payment by my insurance the first week of July.

Some of the nurses are rude and act like they don't want to be there. Tried explaining to the front desk nurse in the emergency area why I was there and she told me "I don't need a story right now you can have a seat & ones we have more time for you you can tell us". I was very uncomfortable and couldn't sit down right due to an operation & they seemed to not care. The only person that was nice was the doctor.

I ended up in the er twice within a 24 hr period. The 1st time I was there a total of 7 hours, they were really busy so I guess understandable. But once discharged I went back within 8 hours in excruciating pain. They gave me a pain medication initially but an hour before I was discharged I was hysterical because the pain had come back. I told the nurse who just said ok. Another lady came back an hour later and said I was being discharged, I informed her I was in a lot of pain and her response to me was "pain medication is temporary theyre sending you home with an antibiotic so go home and take it and that will make your pain go away" like I don't understand pain medicine is not an actual solution to the problem the whole point is I need temporary relief until I have enough antibiotics in my system to reduce the pain. Severely disappointed they not only allowed me to leave in such pain but gave me no recommendations for pain other than take your antibiotic. Once I left I immediately followed up with my Dr who took me in on a walk in, who further explained to me that what the dr did to me while I was there only irritated my condition further. He literally said to me "she clearly didn't know what she was doing" I was also told by the er Dr that since my email is on file I would be Be to go online and view my records only to find out that they have to send you a link in order to do that.

My dad came here for neck surgery. Every single employee I encountered was absolutely amazing. From the doctors and nurses to the janitors and cafeteria staff. The nurses were among the best I've ever met. Every single one had a huge heart and went above and beyond. They let me stay by his side for a week and we're so kind and helpful to me too. I can't say how impressed I am with this whole experience, especially since all the covid nonsense. These people are here for the right reasons and it definitely shows and makes a difference.

So I would like to update my review. I would really like to say thank you to all the nursing and staff who helped my mother Pauline who suffered from a stroke. I wasnā€™t able to get everyoneā€™s name so if you were not mention I truly apologize but we are so grateful for everyone of you. For now Iā€™d like to mention multiple nurses, Amber from Emergency SHES AMAZING, Nurses Rene, Moe, Christine, Baldwin, Alissa h, Kayla S, Rose M, Aubrey B, Nancy, Dayana B, Charles O, and Josephine on the 8th and 5th floor working night shift and dayare truly are amazing. They have been so patience, loving, kind, empathetic, and especially very informative and helpful. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness, especially when there are hard times. I would also like to mention physical therapist Rachel R, Zach B, Erica C, and especially speech therapist Carly D. And let me just say DOCTOR NELSON IS AWESOME! And I will not forget Katelyn Biete who was fantastic with the room service. She was extremely patient and nice to talk to on the phone. The nurses, doctors, physical therapist and even the room service made this process so much easier for us and I do have to say their spirit, personalities, and smiles really light up the 5th and 8th floor! They are on top of their job and this hospital has to count themselves lucky because they have themselves a gem. There are not many workers like them anymore. Very hard working and deserving individuals! We really really love this hospital! Thank you to this team and we are so grateful! Please give them a raised!!!šŸ§”šŸ§” I still am giving this staff a five star even though I did have on bad experience, but the way they handled everything was fantastic. I have one person who I was not happy with and that was JOE, works on the 8th floor and is one intimidating nurse. My father had to protect me from him because he was angry we changed nurses because his attitude and the way he was addressing my family and my mother who had a stroke was unacceptable. Joe would be talking down on all the nurses and people who deserve their credibility. He also had no patience at all for my mother and none for us either. Even the other nurses and doctors didn't like the way he was addressing my family and I and other nurses saw I was uncomfortable and asked if I wanted to change nurses, and we said yes. Joe got in my father and I face and was telling me "You go tell the leadership on that floor that your mom is my patient and we aren't changing nurses". Then after he was told to leave us alone he approached me again in the hall way, and said " I'm sorry if my glasses make me look mean" And I was so confused on why he continued to harass me. He obviously thinks this kind of behavior is okay. I just want to say if he is doing that to my family who else does he treat like that and especially if they don't have family members to protect them. Please address this I will also be emailing more supervisors because he made my family, nurses, and other patients feel unsafe. - Breanna, Pauline Gaumond's Daughter!

I really want to like this hospital but itā€™s gotten worse over the years. My son got into a car accident and had to go to the ER to wait long hours before getting discharged due to being understaffed with only one nurse who was allowed to give him any kind of pain relievers, get results and discharge him. Weā€™ve never experienced this bad of a wait at any hospital until now, especially being as late night as it was and following into morning. My son shouldā€™ve been home resting after his accident. But instead sitting in the waiting area, waiting. Itā€™s just ridiculous.

I've been here for 8 hours the staff was horrible. The man who took my blood was sweet and caring but he was the only one with a heart. Shannon and Royse (I think thats how you spell their names) we're working PW and they were a mess. A lady was brought in the ambulance for stomach cramps or something an hour after I was in the chair and she got into the recliners before I did when I came in for food poisoning. They left her throwing up on the floor and didn't notice until another patient said something. They continued to let her throw up on the floor for a few more minutes and didn't clean it up for at least an hour. A man was in a recliner next to me and screaming for help. Shannon and Royse went and talked bad about him afterwards saying how needy he was. They never updated you on what was going on, like test results or even where I was going after my IV. I had to bug them and they got mad when I asked. This place was horrible.

They definitely give the impression that you are just money to them. They won't answer questions and just leave you laying there while they are doing nothing for you. Such as padding the bill as much as they can. When it takes 6 hours to get a tetanus shot and antibiotics, then another couple of hours to get the prescription and release forms. That seems extremely excessive.

Son was brought into the ER by ambulance. I was taken to the back 15 mins later. There was no chair in the room. I have been standing for well over 2 hrs in between sitting on the foot of the bed. I have never seen anything like it. One person said they would find me a chair and that was well over 1 hr with them walking past me multiple times and me asking for a chair.

The malpractice that takes place here is amazing! I was in for upper right abdomen pain I was worried about a gallbladder issue. They tried to do an ekg run an iv do a cat scan and a covid test because of my worry about my galbaladder. All unessacery for what I was there for. this place is just trying to charge as much as possible on ever person who walks threw the door. After having to ask for test results and finding that there fine I said thank you Iā€™ll follow up with my dr and the dr said I left ama ā€œagainst medieval adviceā€ well my test results were normal so I didnā€™t feel as though it was necessary to have anything else done then she starts threatening me. This whole ER IS JOKE NOT FOLLOWING HIPPA OR ANY REGULATIONS! I will be reporting to the state and federal level it was so bad!

My daughter was born 35 weeks early on 07/20/2021. Thankfully sheā€™s healthy and was able to come home with me once it was possible! From the moment I arrived, to my c-section, and the moment I left, I can happily say I am impressed with the staff and nurses who attended me. Every one of them was amazing and tried there best to help me and make my experience easy. Super satisfied and grateful to the nurses that helped! They were very attentive and always ready to help and take care of me as needed! 5 stars for sure and definitely recommended!

This was the first time that I've ever been admitted to any hospital. The ED doctor, nurses and Radiology staff were very attentive and nice. They explained everything to me and made sure that I was comfortable. The same can be said about the nurses on the floor, except for the nurse on the night shift. She (Diocelina) was very dismissive and made me feel like I was bothering her whenever my machine was going off. That was the only time I would ring my bell. Ashley, the CNA was so sweet and helpful. The surgeon Dr. Cooper was amazing!! He answered every question that my husband and I had and followed up with us after the procedure. I know it's a hospital and not the Ritz-Carlton, but I think the rooms and hallways on the floors should be repainted. The lobby is bright and gives a warm feeling, but on the floors it feels depressing. It feels like death is all around you.

Amazing place. Went to ER experiencing chest pains and the entire experience was the best I could ask for. They got me in right away and started all the tests. Everyone was super nice and funny. Steve who took my blood and the nurse who is a black belt in karate were awesome. Letā€™s not forget the wonderful ladies who did my ultra sound and CT scan. Reading some other reviews I chalk that up toā€¦.some people are just miserable in life. Iā€™m from Chicago and was visiting Las Vegas, I didnā€™t want to have chest pains but Iā€™m sure glad I went there. Great, clean facility and the people who work there are the ones who make your bad day into a great one.

Terrible ER! Was here for over 24 hours and not one single nurse checked on me in over 3 hours. I am expecting and was dehydrated and they didnā€™t change my fluids that ran out until I said something. This place is a joke. All they care about is billing the insurance and jabbing all these tests on you that you donā€™t need. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ER!

I am writing this from my hospital bed because I am so absolutely in-love with your staff. I have been in hospitals all of the country with my handful of serious medical issues. Never once, have I ever, felt SO taken care. Your staff truly cares for the WHOLE person. From the surgeon who fixed a bad surgery (tha has been ailing me for almost 2 years now), and your nurses, radiologists, wound care - EVERYONE has been compassionate and beyond exceptional!! Thank you all so much!! You've made this long hospital stay away from my kids much, much, more comfortable than I ever could've imagined. I appreciate you!!

(Birth/Delivery) The entire staff and stay were amazing but the nurse that was in our deliver room with us, Alicia was PHENOMENAL. So communicative, so attentive, so genuine and so professional. I canā€™t say enough great things about our experience at Centennial Hills Hospital. Thank you so so much for making such a potentially stressful time so easy and worry free for my wife and our newborn son.

I went in for surgery and I was treated great! The main nurses I remember were Lucy and Alex. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. If youā€™re in need of a surgery I highly recommend this hospital everyone was amazing!

I am currently on hold with the ER Department , it has now been over 30 minutes. Iā€™m just trying to get access to my test results for COV-2/Flu RNA that was ordered on 1/17/23. It was explained to me that I would receive an email in order to gain access to my records, however I never received such email. Someone named Emily picked up and then quickly placed me back on hold. This is very unprofessional. Although the nurses and Dr. Blomberg, were very professional and kind, itā€™s very disheartening to be left on hold and Iā€™m sure all can see a blinking light that someone is on hold. Iā€™m not sure if I will return to this hospital, even though this hospital is the closest to my home . Iā€™m still on hold and itā€™s now been 43 minutes .

I gave birth to my son earlier this month at Centennial Hills Hospital and was very pleased with the entire experience. The staff on the Labor & Delivery floor was amazing and they did everything they could to keep me and my newborn comfortable and content for our stay there.

My experience was great from the time I got there and when I was admitted . The around the clock nurse was outstanding and communicated to me on what's going on ...Since my daughter was in the medical field she was able to stay in contact with one nurse who kept in touch with my daughter letting her know how I was doing ...

If I could give a ZERO I would, This place is a joke! My grandmother (83yo on end of life dialysis) went in on 11/1/23 for vomiting blood. It is NOW 11/6/23 and we still have ZERO answer as to why. She has had 5 tests now and not one physician has came to us with results. The floor Rns will talk to you as if you were a child. They show no respect for the fact that this is our blood not just MRN. This is were they lack compassion for people. We are needing there help and we are being ignored. I currently am on hold for 25 minutes after the fact I was told they were "getting the RN". IF YOU VALUE YOU FAMILY LIVES--TAKE THEM ELSEWHERE!! CHH IS A NIGHTMARE.

I recently had an unplanned visit. In my experience, the nursing staff were kind, compassionate, dedicated, professional and knowledgeable. I spent time in the emergency room and several days in ICU. For as difficult as a health event experience is, I was in excellent hands and I will always be thankful to all the staff members who guided me through the experience; from emergency room, to ICU, and thru procedures such as CT, MRIs and TEEs (a new acronym for me). You all are the best. Cheers.

Experiences here have been mixed but for this visit I'd like to take time to recognize RN Ayisha and CNA Brenda on Floor 3. They went above and beyond in taking care of my mom and that's aiding a lot in her healing. I'm very appreciative of their love and compassion.

Room 323 My first night I had not been getting anything managed. I had been puking for hours uncontrollably with no help. I had been getting my pain meds hours late to the point I was right back where I started. that was not management it was torture. Itā€™s been a few days now and things have improved immensely. My current daytime staff have been doing a great job of getting things under control. Thanks to Alvin, Amanda and my last night Gabi especially, they have all been an absolute comfort throughout my stay here

So my wife is in Labor right now. She is 4 centimeters. I got to say the nurses we have in the Labor and delivery are fantastic. We came in and we had Angelique (hope I spelled that right). She was super informative, funny, and the bed side manner were fantastic. Now the night crew we have Hannah and Melanie. Hannah is still new to Labor and Delivery and Melanie is basically her mentor. Mel's got some old tricks to monitor the baby. I sure she has just a wealth of knowledge. Hannah is new but she great. Both nurse bed side manners are far beyond the call of duty. I worked in patient care for 12 years of my life over 10 years ago. I worked in the imaging department for Cedar Sinai. Been in that field before, I will tell you these nurse are great and my wife and I feel very lucky to have them.

Having asthma which is a respiratory issue constricting breathing I am all for wearing the mask but wearing the mask also adds to the constricting of breathing. I went to the emergency room to rule out if I had pneumonia with all the symptoms I have and having to sit in the er room they will not make an accommodation in allowing me to stand outside the front door of the er so I donā€™t have to wear the mask and be able to breath a little and not jeopardize any other patients with all my coughing from not being able to breath. If I miss my name I miss my name being called to be seen is what they told me.

Absolute worst Emergency Room experience. Slow, rude-Takes forever to get registered. Receptionist is insolent, unapologetic for long wait. Iā€™m from KCMO where hospital staff are courteous, empathetic , professional and provide excellent health care with a smile!

First of all I'm grateful for the staff and nurses who paid my daughter attention during her labor and delivery at this hospital. Unfortunately, not all staff was on the same page. The nurses in the Nicu where prejudice and treated me like I wasn't supposed to be there with my daughter and grandson. The nurses where complaining about how, it was really noisy in the Nicu, babies who are just born cry and some are in pain, for these nurses to be carrying on in this manner. Then I notice they was not welcoming at all. They never once introduced themselves and asked who we are, I was listening to how they treated the other guest and hear the nurse same nurse being so polite and kind to them. It was heartbreaking to see we had to go through this. Then another nurse in the same area made a comment on how my grandson didn't like to be touched. Maybe so, but these comments should not be made because how do they know how a infant is feeling. The worst experience I've seen in a professional establishment. There was no professionalism at all.

I had an amazing labor and delivery here the past weekend! The nurses assigned to me were outstanding and so sweet especially Mary! and dr. Mclemore was very compassionate and patient. I was more interested in a home birth and was a bit skeptical of a hospital birth because of so many bad reviews and stories but I had a beautiful natural birth and all of my accommodations/requests were met! They even made sure my doula was included the entire time and it was a heartwarming experience overall

Love this hospital! My husband has stayed here 2 times for about 3 days each. My youngest son was here for a week and my older son is now here in the ICU. Everyone has been amazing. The ER staff were just fantastic. They tried so hard to help my son but he had to go to ICU. From day 1, his doctors and nurses have been wonderful. My son is unconscious but they talk to him constantly telling him what they are doing. They answer all my questions and are just so caring. My husband has been in 3 different hospitals and some several times and this is the best one IMO. I asked the ambulance to bring my son here. My one complaint is every time I have to use the restroom in ICU, I have to leave the locked double doors and then ring a buzzer to get back in and sometimes I have to wait awhile for them to answer. I wish they had a restroom in the ICU itself. The bathroom is between 2 sets of double doors so I wish they would put the buzzer on the outer doors. But thats minor. Overall I am very happy with Centennial Hills and will always come here if I can for hospital stays.

I had my baby here in April. It was an unexpected preterm labor. The labor and delivery staff was so wonderful. Despite being preterm, I was still able to birth the way I wanted to. My nurse was super encouraging and helped keep my spirits up. My baby had to go to the NICU immediately after being born for respiratory issues. The doctors explained everything thoroughly and she was intubated for a few hours. Every single NICU nurse was amazing and encouraged immediate interaction with baby. As a person in healthcare I felt at ease leaving every night knowing she was being well taken care of. Thankfully we were only there a week. I am very happy with every staff member we interacted with!

They didnā€™t have enough nurses help the patient. When the patient need something they didnā€™t attend to his needs in a timely manner. The Doctor did not come in to check on patient just read the labs. After 2 days we had threaten calling patient advocates to get any help. Food service and food was not good. The only good thing can say it was a clean hospital.
