😠 Just moved out here from outta state and woke up with a hernia, which brought me here. Every one of the staff I encountered was above and beyond friendly and caring....... except one lady pushing a cart for blood collections. grumbled instead of spoke, and with a big ole needle shoved it without war... Just moved out here from outta state and woke up with a hernia, which brought me here. Every one of the staff I encountered was above and beyond friendly and caring....... except one lady pushing a cart for blood collections. grumbled instead of spoke, and with a big ole needle shoved it without warning. when I jumped she said "oh good you don't stay very long because there would be more poking", which may I add my arm is completely bruised and that woman has NO business being around people (she wouldn't let me read her name, but I got her picture) Once admitted, let me just say nurse EDNA is an absolute treasure!! edit: went back for calf pain and they overlooked something that could've caused me my leg.. WHAT I REALLY THINK is my insurance was still processing and because I owed them THEY DIDN'T BOTHER GIVING ME ADEQUATE TREATMENT.. by the time I went to a better hospital I HAD NECROSIS IN MY LEG, be lucky I don't sue you for medical negligence

It seems this place was designed to scam people out of money. I went into this hospital and spoke to a lady about getting a rapid COVID-19. She said maybe the Emergency room can do one for me. So I go to the Emergency room and spoke to the security guard behind the desk about getting a COVID-19 test and she told me to sign in. So the nurse eventually took my blood pressure, temperature and checked my lungs then I spoke to a doctor. I told him I wanted a COVID-19 test so I won’t go into work and spread the virus if I have it. A free waiting a bit a different doctor came out, checked my lungs again and told me they cannot give me a COVID-19 test. After that they sent the billing lady in to give me $750.00 bill for not giving me a simple COVID-19 test. If you want to be scammed out of your money and not receive the service you’re asking for this is definitely the place to go…

We waited 4 hours for the doctor to tell me their trauma surgeons are not trained to work on toddlers and cannot perform the surgery on my 2 year old's broken elbow. After which they forced us to take an ambulance to Sunrise Childrens Hospital cittng liability issues during transport. Apparently I can bring my family to the ER in my car but not to an another ER?!? In all they admitted my toddler, refused to provide survice, and then called an ambulance from a neighboring hospital to take care of things. Thank you for completely trashing my finances due your ineptitude to advertise you cannot work on infants and toddlers.

The waiting room is a nightmare nobody follows any type of social distancing at all. Excessive defiant people in between the seating of the chairs. Security does nothing to enforce the CDC guidelines. People are laying on the floor in the waiting room. It's filled with people screaming in pain. You can't explain all the symptoms you have in the intake information kiosk cuz it runs out of letters. They call people by screaming your name instead of providing some type of number system with possibly a intercom. Everybody eats in this waiting room too when you're not supposed to. I've been here about an hour and I've only been able to get an x-ray. Still waiting for the doctor. The nurse who finally got the guy off the floor didn't even bother to help him up. After he started screaming and swearing they gave him pain medicine. You better have really good hearing because you might not hear your name if you're waiting in the back trying to avoid covid. I told a few people to put their mask up. One of them flipped me off, security said that I told her I was going to smack her. She lied to them about me. I asked her why can't she wear her mask properly. She lied to them. Security told me why did I come to the hospital if I didn't want to be around covid-19. Cuz why don't you let me worry about people not wearing their masks people continued to not wear their masks and he did not enforce any rules.

Need to give lowest rating possible but I can't pick 0, and only giving 1 also for the RN plus the lady by hall who helped me recharge my phone in order to call for my ride home. Everybody seemed to have forgotten I was in a hit-and-run crash at the end of August and only treated me as if no car slammed our vehicle and I was only panicking. They will not take you seriously, I guess, unless you're bleeding or with anything coming out of your body. A prescription was written by a physician who didn't visit me or talk to me, so no face-to-face contact, no x-rays, so guess being part of that criminal's crime where nobody a witness was totally forgotten too. No pain medicine given that I can remember at all. I knew from past experiences, this was a hit or miss place. From that night, I'll never see foot here again, at least into that department. No x-rays were taken or nothing, so those were only done at my bodily injury+physical therapy office, and another ER in town later on. Nice to know my case wasn't taken seriously and I didn't matter!

The Staff was very professional and attentive. The ER Sergen was awesome. I was very pleased right up until check out. The nurse released me without any medication. because I had signed release papers, she felt that was not her problem anymore. It turned out, the prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy, so I was without medication for pain for the first 24 hours which was very crucial. It has been a week since my surgery and I am very swollen and in some pain. They only gave me 10 pills which were gone days ago. and I can't find anyone to refill my pain medication, it sucks. Once you leave the Emergency room , no one cares, there is no follow up. It's sad because they were great up to that point.

I went to this Emergency Room having fallen two days prior. These people didn't even bother to remove my sock. I was there for ankle and foot pain from my fall. Because there were no obvious breaks they acted as if I was crazy describing the pain I was in.. So there were no breaks but do you know how much soft tissue there is surrounding the foot. In any case I would not recommend this ER to anyone..

Terrible. Came in to get checked out for back pain and a headache after being in an accident. They were quick to charge me but took them over 4 hours to release me. When they took me to the back, the person taking my temp asked me to remove my mask but never told me when to put it back on. The doctor “attending” me was rude and told me to put it back on. That same person who took my temp had her mask off in the waiting room as she ate and was on her phone. I don’t know what is going on here but this is not acceptable. Don’t waste my time and money if you’re just going to have me call my doctor in the morning. Don’t expect others to know what to do if you don’t communicate with them and most of all, don’t expect others to adhere by your policies if your own staff fails to uphold them.

To my surprise the staff was great. Came in there for a gout. Was seen almost immediately. Probably because I heard gout is serious. The total visit was maybe a total of 2 hours. Only problem is they would not subscribe something more strong to reduce the gout. They said to speak to my primary care. Primary care could not see me right away but tried to tell my doctor to prescribe something for me. No response yet.

Something cracked in my throat when I sneezed & it was hurting. The doctors did nothing for me - no X-rays, no scans, etc. They gave me Lidocaine to gargle with to numb my throat. That’s not going to fix the problem. They told me to go back to the ENT. Why would I do that when they knew that weeks before he put a camera down my throat without numbing it first??!! And it left me with a bad sore throat for weeks!! I’m extremely disappointed with the care that I did NOT get at MountainView.

There is a chance that they will put you in chairs in the hallway for ER care. Fine, whatever. However, they don't care at all about your privacy. I had multiple people lift up my shirt and examine me in the hallway. There can be someone sitting right next you and they will ask the most intimate medical information. I am mortified.. Update: They responded to this review below. Called the number and left a message with my number. I have not received a call back. It's been a couple of weeks. Their written response looks like it is just to show people reading reviews that they care. They don't.

Had to take my daughter at 6:30 this morning which is during shift change. I wish I knew everyone's names because they were so caring and efficient. Deepest Thank You to both the outgoing night shift to the incoming day shift. All in all, we were in and out in about 2 hours. My daughter went from crying in agony to sleeping. Thank you so much Mountainview ER!!

If I were you I would NEVER EVER in life come to this hospital no matter what the circumstances are please drive to the next ER. I came in to the ER even after reading negative reviews. I was told I was pregnant and that I should be around 4-6 weeks pregnant through a urine test. I told them there’s no way and then there were different workers walking up to me saying “congratulations” as I was in tears crying. I left ER with no discharge papers even saying a positive pregnancy test. They also told me my insurance wasn’t active and had to get billed. I left and went to another ER near by and just after doing blood work at another ER the same day it comes to find out I’m not pregnant as I knew I wasn’t and I even had a ultrasound done and there was no baby to even be found. My insurance was perfectly fine and i had no problems using it at the ER I went to after Mountain View. I called Mountain View back to let them know they are giving false results and that’s very serious because that could have been any test that could have been a cancer test or any test and there goes FALSE results. DO NOT EVER GO HERE I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW THIS HOSPITAL IS STILL OPEN. This place needs to be shut down!!!!!!!!

I am being billed 2200 dollars for the maybe 45 minutes I was there. I had my blood pressure taken and told to sit In a room. I was told that I would have an I.V. bag started that was never done and then I got walked to another room where I was told that I had an allergic reaction. (Not true, as they were just guessing it was a reaction to ragweed) They prescribed me Sudafed and told me I was good to leave. No tests of any kind were done even though I had severe migranes and trouble breathing which i am not prone to. I had already gone through 5 days of this and they said it wasn't anything to worry about unless the symptoms lasted more than two weeks. I was back at my primary doctor's office 2 weeks later where I found out I had a severe infection. Not only did I not receive treatment of any kind but I feel as if I'm being robbed at this point.

I was in pain when I went to MountainView Hospital, but, once I finished to sign up, my name was called, and a nurse started taking care of me right away. I appreciated their quick response and professionalism to my issues. It was my second experience in this hospital, after I had a appendicitis surgery in 2017. During my stay on my first visit, I was mislead by their outstanding customer care service for the nurse to be having a crush on me. I can't think twice when I need a hospital visit. MountainView Hospital is the best. Thank you for your commitment to the best of the best.

Everything and everyone was great, until they prescribed the single medication she is allergic to, which I stated multiple times throughout the visit. I had to make another doctor visit to get the right antibiotic.

The staff needs more training in procedures that produce pain in patients. The correct items needed for such procedures should be readily available. Just giving directions to the patients to exit the facility is against all policies. The insurance companies can have a field day with increases in premiums, therefore passing on increases to patients that are already gouged by pricing. The only good thing was being seen quickly because of the transfer via ambulance from a facility that was unable to perform necessary procedures.

Going to the ER is never fun, and our expectations were pretty low— long wait times and you can’t take a family member back into the ER room with you. I don’t like that policy. That said, I was taken back to the ER room quickly, everyone was super respectful, professional, and nice. They were pretty efficient with all the things they were trying to accomplish with the different testing. When the tests came back, it did not take very long for the doctor to review them and let me know the next steps. And then I was discharged. Dr Holbrook was really good.

I brought my son to this emergency room late Friday night 1:00 am 1/20/2024 because his heart was racing and he wasn’t feeling well. I thought he was having a heart attack. He kept saying I don’t want to die at 30. We were told to sign in and have sit for the triage nurse. After trying to sign in at their self sign in station, he got worse, I went to desk again and asked the young girl who was just sitting there can you do something he is having chest pains, she told me we needed to sign in and the triage nurse would call him. While I frantically tried to sign in again my son fell to the floor. The older front desk nurse with a tattoo on the side of her forehead/temple and blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail came out with no urgency and told my son to get up with a cold heart and stare. She was heartless! She could clearly see he was very ill. They went ahead and took him back . I went back with him because I wanted to be with him. She asked me to leave, I politely told her I wanted to be with him and he wanted me there. I was never rude or loud with her or anyone. She left out the room and returned with security guard. He asked me nicely to go in the waiting room and that they would take care of him, I reluctantly left with him. I didn’t TRUST them to treat my son as a human being or how they would want their loved ones treated. Later, when I was allowed to back to see , he told me he tried to hold the of male pct (?) hand for comfort and the guy said “man I’m not holding your hand, you a grown man.” OMG, really! My son’s attending nurse Johanna was kind and the attending physician, Dr Dayes was nice and very informative. But the EMERGENCY room FRONT desk staff and the male pct were cold, uncaring and robotic. I will never come here again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Mother came here with a tightness in her throat issues breathing after some tests they said everything looks ok and released her we had to come back half a hour later since it got bad again where the same doctor who saw her again saw her for no more then 1 minute he stated mam you’re fine your throat isn’t closing he then said to prescribe her a Xanax and right in front of us did a tsk nasty sigh before slowly walking away with a annoyed look on his face after that we went to centennial hospital er which they actually admitted her HORRIBLE doctor and super rude a waste of our time and money I do want to say the staff up front at the time were nice but the doctor himself was awful and has probably one of the worst bedside manners iv ever seen

The place is dirty, the doors just make loud noises and don’t even work. They refuse to give you a receipt for payment, they say they will email it but never do. I’m still trying to hunt down a receipt and when you call, you get transferred to Utah and they also refuse to give you a receipt. One visit is a major and continuous headache.

My wife took our son there with RSV. They took his vitals and then proceeded to say we cant take care of him we are not a children's hospital. THANKS FOR THE ER BILL of $1500 for only checking vitals and doing nothing. Seriously the worst, Tried to dispute multiple times in person and over the phone. Was told they would mail me the dispute form never came. Always got the run around.

Brought my son because of bad cough and because he had pneumonia before so taking extra precautions. I am amazed by how quick the service is from checking in at kiosks and triage.Nurses are great very friendly. The doctor was great too. Although I am surprised by how quick they are and there was one guy from the X-ray department who I find unprofessional, first he was saying we will go to the X-ray to check your lungs, heart, stomach(maybe he was being friendly because my son is 3yo but he did sound awkward) then when my son cough near him he said "EWWWW" As a mom I was embarrassed. Because that's why we were there, to have a check up!!! I could go to urgent care but I didn't. Then We were brought outside in the waiting area/lobby or how you call it. a lady called our name and then she came over with her portable computer getting all of my information SSN, MY SONS PERSONAL INFORMATION. AND MADE A PAYMENT THERE. NOT BY THE COUNTER BUT WHERE I WAS SEATED IN THE LOBBY WITH ALL THE OTHER PATIENTS WAITING. THEN A NURSE CAME BY TO GIVE MY SON HIS STEROIDS. AFTER THAT THE DOCTOR CAME OUT TOO (STILL IN THE LOBBY OR WAITING AREA WHERE EVERYONE CAN HEAR MY SONS ILLNESS). DOCTOR EXPLAINED IT TO ME THERE WHERE IT WAS BUSY AND IM NOT SO OPEN TO ASK QUESTION BECAUSE OF COURSE I FEEL LIKE EVERYONE (PATIENTS/Strangers) WANTS TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WITH MY SON. AGAIN, SERVICE IS QUICK WHICH IS REALLY GOOD. BUT NO PRIVACY? I UNDERSTAND HOW BUSY IT CAN BE BUT AT LEAST HAVE A SPARE ROOM OR BRING US SOMEWHERE PRIVATE AND NOT INFRONT WITH OTHER PATIENTS WHO CAN HEAR OUR CONVERSATION. DOES NOT THIS VIOLATE HIPAA RULE???? THIS IS MY FIRST TIME GOING THERE BUT DEF NOT GOING BACK. :/ BTW, NO DISCHARGE PAPERS TOO.

Surgery was a success God is so good just in a lot of pain but pain is nothing compared to what I was feeling for past 4 days. I had my right tube removed due to it repturing and causing bleeding in my stomach. So I was rushed to emergency surgery I'm just blessed to be alive and see another day thanks to the ER team. Now is the recovery stage and on strict bed rest for a week 🙏🙏 Shout out to Mountain View Hospital ER Staff and Doctor's for saving my life when Sunrise Hospital sent me away Twice with this life threatening issue due to supposedly 'Unknown Pregnancy'. As soon as I walked into the ER in extreme undescribable pain coming from my pelvic and buttock area and being very early in pregnancy. The RN's and Doctor's took quick action to diagnose what was going on. After waiting for blood test, urine, ultrasound, and physical examination it came back that yes I was having an life threatening Tube Pregnancy and I was scheduled for Emergency Surgery in an hour. Of course this being my 1st time ever experiencing anything like this I was scared, confused, and so emotional. But with the great support and advise from the OBGYN Doctor's and Staff I finally got the courage to go through with surgery which ended up being the best decision ever and I'm alive to see another day. They took time to listen to me and all my concerns and that's something I appreciated I didn't feel rush or like they didn't care about my situation unlike Sunrise. Because of the excellent customer service and knowledgable ER team staff I will only take my business here. I hope this gets read by the CEO of Mountain View Hospital I appreciate everything your ER team has done.

Brought my Aunt to ER to obtain medical attention for her cough and fluid in her lungs as determined by her Dialysis report. Though very bz the system in place allowed her to be examined after a 5 minute wait. Meds were prescribed after the lab report was ready in an hour. Very satisfied with the ER procedure for emergencies The staff were very courteous and helpful.

Thank you, I was treated very well by the staff. My first complaint is the accommodations I was placed in in the ER. Upon being Admitted I was placed in a room with 9 other patients. We were all in recliner chairs about 1 and 1/2 feet to 2ft apart. This was unhealthy and cramped. I was in that corner from about 6pm on 7/19/2022 to 7:00 pm on 7/20/2022 before I was assigned to a bed in another waiting for room upstairs. There was at least in a cubicle with curtains for some privacy. 1st night fine, next night a woman in next cubicle talked nearly all night on the phone. She kept talking even after being asked by the staff to quiet down. My second complaint is I kept asking for a diagnosis and never got one until the home health nurse told me. Third complaint the 2 doctors attending me would not give me medications I take at home. I did get verapamil , lataprost and fluticasone after repeatedly asking the nurse to ask the doctor. I HAVE NEVER HAD A STAY LI K E THIS ONE BEFORE IN ANY FACILITY HERE IN THE VALLEY IN 6 YEARS. Nancy M Collins ❤️

I did not have to wait long even though it was very busy. Dr Maag was professional and warm at the same time. Even though I did not see him for very long he explained tests I needed and the outcome. Augustus and Matthew in the IV room where I spent some time were amazing. So friendly and added humor to the frightening experience. Everyone I came into contact with were outstanding!

This post is primarily directed at the nursing staff/ other staff present in the ER on 12/10/21 and Dr. Lundberg: The staff we encountered were compassionate and helpful. As someone who lives in AZ, I was impressed with a few things. 1) The hospital takes COVID seriously and appears to be doing their best to keep everyone as healthy and safe as possible 2) They were fast! Tests were completed and evaluated quickly. The doctor was finished sooner than the estimated time and still thorough enough that we felt good about the determination made by the doctor while also feeling relieved that we were able to leave quickly 3) registration went above and beyond to be helpful to out of towners trying to deal with some frustrating logistics. Thank you to everyone that helped us. I appreciate your efforts and can't give enough kudos to your team!

They took $240 copay without even checking my insurance and then they told me my injury wasn’t serious enough to use their mri machine and told me I was fine.( I can’t feel anything in my left forearm or hand). Don’t go here unless you’re dying or got shot.

  • 2/5 Paul 2 years ago on Google
Once you check in your wait is hours long! There were a few people who were yelling about how they won't wear masks and that COVID is fake. Security talked to them, but it took several hours before they told them to leave. Even then, they stayed in the parking lot. One nurse was nice and on top of things, another nurse didn't care at all and ignored patients and even went out of their way to taunt a patient. Health care is terrible now and getting someone who cares is rare and difficult! Unless you absolutely need to, don't go to the hospital! You put yourself at risk for being there in many ways. The nurses are over worked and clearly don't care about anyone. I can only imagine that people have gotten wrong medication and improper care while at this hospital. Avoid unless you are about to die! No joke!

This was the best ER I’ve ever gone to! I was treated quickly and everyone I talked to was so patient and understanding. Even the hospital administrator was patient in letting me answer her questions when I could. I apologized for being slow to answer and she responded politely with, “take your time, I can come back when you’re ready”. The nurses were checking me as often as they could despite seeming busy and I even had random doctors checking in to make sure I’ve been seen.

I was immediately greeted and checked in upon arrival. After a short wait I was immediately taken back for treatment. My longest wait time was for my prescriptions and checkout paperwork. I saw a pregnant lady walk in and staff dropped what they were doing to rush forward and attend her. I was impressed!! I'm so glad my pregnant daughter will be having her baby at this hospital!!

I entered the ER and found the log in system that states if your having shortness of breath please check in at desk. Before I could turn around the nurse asked if I was okay and did I want to check in at the desk. I explained I was having a slight difficulty catching my breath. within moments I was being seen by multiple different departments. It took them all a total of an hour and a half and my diagnosis was Bronchitis not heart condition. The nurse that noticed me at my initial entry was very alert and hard working. He was very pleasant to everybody and looked as if he enjoyed his job.

Not the worst ER I've ever been too but I'm pretty sure this place was violating HIPAA. In the waiting room, doctors and nurses would come out calling out patient names and then speak with them about their medical conditions in the open. There was no privacy. A women waiting with her husband walked up to me after the doctor spoke to me about mine to give me advice. I did not ask for it nor did I provide her any of my information/details of my condition. She heard everything the doctor said and then commented on it...I understand being busy and having no open rooms or beds but when I was discharged a kind nurse brought me in the the back where she explained my instructions. Seems more logical/legal to do it that way to me but what do I know?

Considering the pain I was in, I had a great visit at Mountain View hospital. I was seen and examined right away.Later, I had to wait a while for a room because I needed surgery. But we were given warmed blankets and card to help fill the time. Of course all this was made better because of the pain pills. Lol Thanks everyone for your help and consent. Most of all, thanks for your skill and education in figuring out my bad gallbladder. :)

The evening ER staff does not communicate well with anyone. Good luck finding out anything. The day staff was fine but the evening staff especially the male nurse at the desk and one of the students were both rude and very uninterested in providing good service.

When you go to ER you think they going to take care off you and stuff. Well not in my case I went cuz I have had 6 surgery's on my right arm I just had one in February. Well I have a really bad elbow it's always getting locked.I had run out of my pain medicine so I went so I can just get something for that. Night cuz the next day I had my doctor's appointment to get my medicin. They told they couldn't give me nothing cuz they didn't give the to patients. But yet this other lady that was in the lobby in pain they give her two shots a pain patch and some pain pills. But yet they told me they couldn't give me nothing.

This is the most impressive part of Mountain View. Brought into Emergency Room by ambulance 9 AM Sunday, after 911 call and low heart rate. Within a minutes being placed into emergency room, nurses were busy doing ekgs, blood and other monitoring. A doctor was at my side within 3 minutes evaluating my situation. Fortunately, my cardiologist was in hospital at that time, and result was I needed a pacemaker to put heart back in sync. Remained in a separate room for 3-4. hours until admitted to regular hospital room. Emergency room care was best I have ever had. All staff fantastic.

From the moment I stepped through the doors of the ER, my experience was great! The only issue I had, well not really an issue but the only person who acted like they didnt want to be at work that night was the ER admitting rep. She was not pleasant at all. The nurses, the doctors, the EKG tech , the radiology tech and the lab tech were all very kind and expressed concern for my symptoms. I didnt hear the usual," Well I think" I heard a very well diagnosis, and was given detailed explanations for why it happened. If you are ever in the need to visit the ER(hopefully not), Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas,NV is the best!

Staff has great customer service. The doctors are great and very knowledgeable they went above and beyond to assure that I had great care The nurse's and phlebotomist we're also polite , and the CT scan staff were phenomenal. I love your hospital and will return there for any further care. Thank you to all of your staff.

I was transferred here from Urgent Care. They called ahead and said I would bypass everything at the hospital. Not entirely the case, but I was seen pretty quick and the process efficient. Honestly, I didn't know I'd even seen a doctor? Maybe that was the first person that looked at me and I was registered after? Someone followed me back out into the lobby and then back for blood pressure. It was a pretty good experience, but there were others told they would have a long wait. If I wasn't transferred from Urgent Care, it could have been a completely different experience. Everyone I dealt with was nice.

Arrived at hospital at 7 am, was examined briefly due to my issue, then wheeled back out to crowded waiting room for 7 hours. Eventually arrived at hospital room I would stay in, after brief stops at two way stations , at 5 pm! If wife hadn't been with me(refusing to let me leave), I would have crawled back home on my knees, rather than endure that! Care for 3 days I was there was adequate and other than the noisy staff at night (we're sick, not dead-and do need our sleep) I would probably give it 3.5 stars, if not for the admitting nightmare. Las Vegas- build more hospitals, and hire more doctors - your healthcare s___ks (edited by wife)!

The medical treatments during this visit were great. The ER experience was unfortunate in that 8 plus hours in ER puts too much stress on anyone. The last straw was being told I was being admitted to the hospital and only had 49 people ahead of me waiting for a room. That I was expected to spend the night sitting in a recliner chair. At 77 years old combined with normal hospital practice of making sure there is a reason to wake you up every hour or two meant that I could expect zero sleep. I went home.

I was in at the emergency with pregnancy complications and this lady with short hair working the night shift around 12:00 am on the 1st of August 2023, which I’m assuming is one of the nurses, was very rude and rushed me out the room as I was just discharged. I think that is very unprofessional as a staff member of the hospital. I will never come here again thanks to her.

I have not been to an emergency room in years. I was very PLEASANTLY surprised by the professional level of attention to my needs. I also observed the way other patients were met with attentive staff. No one felt as though they were in eternal "waiting" mode. I hope you have more 5 STAR posting like this! You guys are AWESOME! I AM GLAD I CHOSE MOUNTAINVIEW!
