Ridiculous. Called 5 times to change appointment left 5 messages. Finally called me back AFTER the appointment I needed to change. Waited so long at the office that we finally just left. Since Dr. Snavely retired, the place is horrible. The office staff is dismissive and seem to act likethey're doing me a favor when interacting with them. I guess the new office replaced their good medical practice. Shiny doesn't matter when service is crap.

Picture this, your child has a cold. You call to set an appointment & wait 10 minutes with a machine telling you, you are the first call in the queue then you are forward to a voicemail. You hang up call in a later time & the same thing over & over again. It’s impossible to get ahold of someone. Front desk is so bad, I switched pediatricians because of that but I regret it because the pediatrician we were seeing was really good & helpful as first time parents. Hopefully they get new staff that is on top of everything. So frustrating!!

everytime I come the nurse checking me her name is dolly on her name tag always makes me wait 45 min before I can check in. I'm always early to my appointments. the doctors aRe very good but why do I have to feel unhelped before I can get some help. makeso no sense. those front desk nurses only utilize there work in a computer and it is super hard for them. smh please fix the front desk because they're always bothered when I go in. makes no sense. it's there job to ve thete but maybe they don't like it who knows. smh.

The staff were nice, just incompetent. Having recently moved to Las Vegas, my wife and I thought that a pediatric clinic associated with a University would be a good place to take our child for a checkup. We were wrong and here's why: 1.) We scheduled our appointment for 3:20. They later asked us to be there by 2:50. We showed up at 2:40 and waited until 4:00 to be seen. 2). The nurse who weighed and checked the height of our child didn't do it correctly. Aside from the fact that our child was weighed in a glorified closet, his clothes and shoes weren't removed to attain a proper weight / height. The nurse also used an adult height and weight scale though our child is too young for such a scale. 3). We were seen by a graduate student instead of a doctor, and were unsatisfied with his diagnosis and care. He lacked many tricks to calm children down that more experienced pediatricians have. He also lacked the foresight to ask us for help (we did jump in). Consequently, I have reason to believe that he didn't properly check our child's ears, etc. We came in for a wellness check to discuss our childs speech (which is a tad behind) and for a checkup which our previous pediatrician suggested. There is absolutely nothing wrong with our child's hearing, yet the doctor insisted we get a second appointment with an audiologist when we were much more interested in talking to a speech therapist. When he left the room, we left the appointment early due to our frustration. 4). They treated the appointment like an 18 month checkup (they state this) though my child is closer to 24 months. We already had an 18 month checkup with our previous pediatrician (who told us to we ought to come back in for a 22 month checkup - which is why we were there). What that means is that we paid for something that our child had already been seen for. 5). We were quoted one price over the phone, charged another price at the counter, and billed a third price later by mail. Thankfully, after calling billing and complaining about our terrible experience, the final tally was substantially reduced. As I mentioned above, the staff were very pleasant, including our nurse and the doctor we visited. However, I wouldn't recommend UNLV Pediatrics to my worst enemy given our service experience.

Very good although very late. Even if there aren't many patients, they take a looong time. Today I had an appointment at 11 and I left until 1 p.m. 🫠

Called to sch appt followed all instructions by the automatic voice system was left on hold. Waited 30min before I decided that this was ridiculous, never spoke to a real person. I know for a fact that MAXIMUM it takes 5min to sch an appt from a schedulers experience.

Everything about UNLV Medicine is terrible. Different doctor every 2-3 visits. They forget to follow up on referrals and medications. They forget to call to give BAD test results that require follow up. You cannot call a clinic directly, all calls have to go through the very subpar call center.

Find another clinic.. I would have rated them 5 star a year ago when we used to see our pediatrician, who is wonderful. That in no longer the case. The wait is always very long which is to be expected, however, they jerk you around and refuse to let you see your child's actual pediatrician. The over hour long wait would be fine if I could see the doctor we drive out of the way to see. Instead they've forced us to a random nurse practitioners for the last year.

Only reviewing their front desk, reception, scheduling department. Although I have had issues with other UNLV departments on the past, this department has been the best at answering calls and scheduling appointments. Their wait time isn't terrible. Usually I speak to Carlos and he is fantastic at getting things done and appointments set up.

You won’t schedule your appointment without being treated like the last dirt. A front desk female screamed at me over the phone just yesterday after I said no I can’t and do not wish to be put on hold after being hung upon about 5 times each time, at that point I changed my referral. I called 6 times and 6 times left voicemail and was promised a call back within 24 hours. Didn’t happen. Don’t bother here. The initial reaction was enough for me to make decision to take my child to different medical provider. This place employs absolutely unprofessional and basic manners lacking individuals.

The OG staff are by far the best Shawna and Nubia have been such a great part of family for me and have always made me feel welcomed. While the wait time could definitely use some improvement but overall they are definitely one of the reasons I have been going to them for over 15 years for all of my children and don’t hesitate about referring them

So I’m here for a wellness visit and I am asthmatic. The rude receptionist asked if I have any covid symptoms but due to my asthma I have a cough and shortness of breathe. After waiting for nearly 15 minutes I get turned away. As a new patient here to establish care and see a primary physician this is a very poor first impression. Sadly I’m only here because this is the only place my insurance would let me be seen otherwise, I’d gladly go somewhere else. Unprofessional, rude and very inconsiderate. You could’ve asked these questions prior to me making arrangements to be seen today and I would’ve gladly followed suit, but do that the day of and then be turned away shows me that this facility operates with a level of incompetence.

They have a girl who is the RUDEST person to answer the phone!!!! I called to ask about my appointment because it has been 3 weeks that I waited and no follow up. I wasn't happy with their unprofessional office staff. And then there comes a girl who answered my call and told me this is not her fault and rather this is the doctor and the office's fault that she is not part of this. How can someone who represent reception at a hospital say this? Very uneducated as she doesn't know that she is part of the whole experience. I am sure there are lots of people with good customer skills in vegas. Please have some sense when hiring front employees...

😠 Ashley Smith is an incompetent and pathetic excuse for a doctor. Don't see her unless you want your time and money wasted and everything you say to be dismissed, and for her to claim to instantly know more than 10 years worth of specialist treating you. 😠 If you can, try to go somewhere else, this place is a joke. Do not respect people's time. I get it sometimes the are delays being seen, but 3 hours is unacceptable. This is the second time that it has happened. When you ask the check in people they react like they don't care one bit.
