We've brought a few of our animals here, and we're always so impressed with the cleanliness and care from the staff. The doctors are so friendly and take the time to explain what's going on, and the prices are reasonable. Distancing and sanitation procedures are also being followed during Covid, which I appreciate. Thank you Dr. Kenton for seeing my Mateo today and getting him fixed up!

There are jut no words for me to explain the care from this group. I have been taking my pets there for years. But recently I became a frequent flyer for a severely sick cat. There has NEVER been a time they did not make time to see my kitty , and believe me she needed care all the time. I would drive across country to follow this clinic and staff. There is a level of understanding and care I have never seen before. *********************†************* I noticed I have a lot of views on my post. It made me cry. Hopefully Flamingo Pet Clinic can help you with your fur babies. Jorja is so missed.

My son and I had to take our dog Mia in to have her put down. The staff was very kind, considerate and very sympathetic to us which made it easier. I also received a very beautiful sympathy card in the mail. The card also stated that they were sending a donation to have a tree planted in Mia's honor in a national forest. We were treated so wonderful during this time of sadness. This meant the world to us! THANK YOU so much to all of the staff at Flamingo Pet Clinic.

We needed a lot of help analyzing a chronically unwell cat. Dr. Williams is very kind and patient and we are all still in the process of solving this. But so far this vet has done more than others who just gave up. Keeping the faith and continuing. Update: it took longer than 100 days, as they told us, but it is now a year later and this special needs cat is as close to normal as can be. She is healthy, active, playful and loving. The problem of severe life threatening allergies is now under control - and we couldn't be happier! We have to stay with the expensive prescription food but we now have a normal cat. Thanks to Flamingo Pet clinic!

I’ve been bringing my little dog here for almost two years and the vet is very friendly. However, I do not like dealing with reception. They do not seem like animal lovers whatsoever. They are downright rude in person and on the phone. I am switching vets because I am uncomfortable trying to communicate with these people.

I've visited Flamingo Pet Clinic twice and have been very pleased with the veterinary services. I was seen soon after being checked in, and my vet listened to what I had to say. He took the time needed to answer all my questions thoroughly. The fee for a visit is much lower than my former clinic, where I had been going for the past 10 years. I highly recommend this clinic.

I do not often write reviews, but I felt it necessary to write this one. We have a 3-year-old Yorkie that we are going on vacation with in two days. He is an inside dog and hardly ever leaves sour home. But we will have to leave him in a kennel in Pa for three days. My wife went to The Flamingo pet clinic and asked for something that would protect the dog for the three days he would be in a kennel in Pa. Instead of giving my wife a flea collar that they sell in Walmart for 3.99 they gave her a box of flea and tick preventive that would last for six months and charged her over $80.00 for it. As soon as my wife came home, and I saw it I immediately went back to the clinic to return it as I needed a three-day collar not a six month $80.00 pill that would be useless after three days. They refused to even listen they said once the box leaves the clinic it cannot be returned. The box was still wrapped and unopened. I asked them to please refund the $80.00 which they refused because they already defrauded my wife out of the money. I put the unopened box on the counter and walked away. I went home and the doctor called me to scold me.AT the time I had enough, and I told her where she could go and what she could do. DO go here the place is a scam. I have had thirteen dogs during my lifetime and never dealt with a clinic, so money orientated as this one. Bordetella vacation and a heart worm pill. $218.00. I even have pet insurance that would pay the whole thing… It is just the principle.

The staff and the veterinarian that I spoke to were very knowledgeable and very helpful and explain every little question I asked. I called like seven different beds to find one that takes birds and they take birds which is awesome they did not push me into getting unnecessary labs. They were very gentle with my birds

I drive 100 miles just to come here. They have never turned away a sick pet. Dr. Kenton is a great vet and you can tell he's passionate regarding all animals.

Our avian vet moved and we needed a new vet quickly for a problem. Flamingo pet clinic made an appointment for me the following day. Very professional and took good care of a broken wing on our parrot and did a great grooming on our other parrot. Prices are very reasonable too. We will be going back for future care of our birds.

I was so appreciative of their help in extending our bird's stay after a terrible family emergency, but unfortunately he came home with no tail and 3 broken blood feathers. He's had several great stays but after this one I'm too afraid to take him back.

Recently I couldn't get an appointment for my dog at our usual veterinarian clinic when she was in great pain. I called Flamingo Pet Clinic and got her in next day I think. The Veterinarian doctor, Dr Michael Williams came in, got down on my GSD's level and allowed her time to get acquainted with him, and eventually she was giving him kisses. The doctor and the staff seemed really knowledgeable on how to approach and handle a frightened protective GSD. I was really amazed because before this all our previous vet visits were so stressful requiring muzzle and stress to my dog and me. She was diagnosed and the treatment was about 50% effective. On our follow-up visit they were able to saflely Xray her front legs which showed some abnormality. We are continuing her pain and arthritis meds and will watch for changes on next xray in a few months if pain persists. When we take our pets to vet doctor we are already worried and stressed out, but this team with their friendly, calm and confident demeanor is able put me at ease.

None of the doctors told me that my dog was dying and incredibly sick. I took my dog Simba to the practice twice in the past 2 months, Nov 27th for a health check for kidney concerns, Dr Kenton only suggested us to do the teeth extraction surgery with no concerns about the problem I brought. Jan 4th I brought him in for worsen kidney issues, Dr William spent very little time listening and decided to only do a blood work and sent my dog some painkiller. Called me next day stating that he will start fluid treatment on him to see how he reacts, with me asking how severe my dog was, Dr William said the dog was “uncomfortable” and he refused to give me what stage of kidney failure my dog was. I was promised to receive a quote to start treatment, of course I never did. Jan 6th my dog died on the bed in emergency room due to pancreatic infection and chronic kidney failure. The doctors in Flamingo pet clinic could’ve saved my dog twice, but they overlooked the bloodwork and the fact that my dog was significantly sick and he was 13 years old. My biggest regret was believing in whatever these doctors sugarcoated. Please do more research about this practice and do not let your dog suffer in pain when the doctor said your dog is only “uncomfortably”. Get a second opinion before trusting a clinic.

Great doctors that handle your pets with the utmost care. I've known Dr. Williams for 30 yrs. Dr. Kenton is the avian vet and is gentle with my Parrot. They handle him so professionally that he doesn't seem to mind the check up and grooming!

I adopted an amazing cat from Homeward Bound, which is right next door. Of course, they work hand in hand with this clinic concerning their adoptive cats’ health. They have fallen short on the care of my cat as I was not given a prescription for my cat’s food. I was never told that she even needed a prescription. In fact, I was told that I could purchase her food anywhere. She has allergies that call for a specific Veterinarian prescribed food. Homeward Bound graciously provided an exit exam to assure she was in great health. I was not given a prescription at that time. I’m expected to take her back as if her health has changed within a week. My cat doesn’t need another exam. She needs to EAT. She was just adopted last week. However, she has to eat! Why can’t anyone explain why I was not provided a prescription? I’m thoroughly disappointed and will not recommend this clinic to ANYONE! To your reply… Regardless, the technician knew that in order to purchase her food, a prescription was needed and no one made sure that I left with the ability to buy it for her. You examined her on the day that I adopted her, after 2 weeks of fostering Lady Moone. I have established a relationship with another clinic that agreed that the matter could have been disclosed and handled better. They provided her prescription/authorization. The fit is perfect on both ends. I am grateful that your clinic discovered her allergies and took great care of her. We LOVE her. I wish you the best, but I stand by my review.

We had a very sick cat. All the staff here were warmly responsive to her needs as well as ours. I cannot stress enough how wonderful everyone is at this heavenly clinic. I would drive a million miles to always be seen here. Love you all and thank you from my heart to yours.

Took my cockatiel to get treatment because he got his foot stuck on the cage and injured it. I was able to bring him in the same day. Dr. Kenton is pleasant and informative. Great place!

We won't take our fur kids anywhere else, Dr. Williams is paws down the best vet. Both for the animals and their nervous pet parents.

I called this place and spoke to a nurse about pigeons who had PMV dying and or not being able to properly fly away . They said specifically that these floppy birds wont heal from their neuro issues and that it wasn't fair to try and make them pets. The nurse told me to bring the bird and they would euthanize it so it wont suffer. When we got the bird there they had something different to say and they had to rehab it and we shouldn't have brought it to them because now they have to deal with it. Get everything in writing from here and don't let their front office staff talk to you like you're trash for trying to help an animal.

Flamingo Pet clinic is one of few that handle birds. Poncho is my Amazon parrot that has been going for about 25 years. he gets a wing trim, pedicure, and beak trim and he just relaxes. We also bring the dog. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and pricing is pretty fair.

I've been to this place a grand total of two times. Once, for annual checkup and shots, once for a quick glance at what turned out to be a lipoma (fatty tumor). My parents have taken their two pups in a few times as well, and we all agree... The two vets we've dealt with here have great bedside manner, they take their time checking on them and addressing any concerns the humans may have, and the cost has been a fraction of what we paid elsewhere. I love that they get down on the floor and interact with the fur kids, putting them more at ease (my pup has anxiety issues, so this has gone a long way toward making her doctor visits less traumatic), and that they listen to you and don't talk down to you if you ask questions. You can tell they truly care about their patients just by the way they interact with them, and by the way they work with you to address any issues that come up without immediately jumping to the most expensive options available.

Best place to go for your Parrots nails and wings trimmed. I was very impressed with how both the doctor and tech handled my African grey. Very professional and my bird was not stressed out after the appointment. Both my dogs had a great experience too. Thank you for providing a wonderful environment for care and handling of my pets!

My baby girl was not eating for several days, I knew her tummy was upset but worried she could have blockage or something else going on after day 3 of barely drinking water. I called all around town and Nathan was so nice to get her in the same day. My husband took her in and says the doctor was very thorough in explaining her symptoms and how we could alleviate them. Thankfully it was just a stomach bug but they took great care of her and also take care credit which is a big plus in my book. I would definitely recommend them! Baby girl came out very happy and know they took great care of her.

I visited Homeward Bound Cat Adoption! If you are looking to adopt a cat, I highly recommend this place. The environment is very friendly. You are not rushed. It is very clean. Everything on the cats are full disclosure. The location takes donations. If you have anything, unopened cat food, toys, carriers, etc. I suggest to go visit.

Dr Kenton has been our family vet 20 + years. He has seen our critters thru all kinds of issues and every life stage. His staff is top notch and we wouldn't trust any other facility. Highly recommend Dr Kenton or Dr Buchanan!

Loved the way Kat and Dr. Kenton were able to see and treat my daughter's bird right away. The treatment and care they gave our Bluey was fantastic. Want to say a million thanks to them for working with us when we most needed it!!
