Upon checking in they explained everything what is about to happen. Then at the examination room the tech explained everything again and the prices and what... This awesome pet hospital accommodated us the same day. I was calling around looking for detailed teeth cleaning for my 4 years old Shih Tzu. Upon checking in they explained everything what is about to happen. Then at the examination room the tech explained everything again and the prices and what to expect. They also offered a detailed blood work of my fur baby for an additional $50 which we gladly accepted. They told us that they would call between 3:30-4pm for pick up but no one called so we decided to drive back to the vet since it’s about 15 miles away from us. Upon checkout the Vet explained everything that was done including all the results of his blood work. We are happy to have found this place by reading previous reviews about this animal hospital. We are very picky and I think we finally found the one to replace our excellent Vet from Colorado Springs. I can’t post pictures inside since it’s not allowed. I highly recommend this animal hospital for your fur babies.

I have been coming here for 6 years. I realize that all they really care is charging you up while giving you lip service. They charged me $231.00 to euthanize my 16 year old mixed dog. If you use credit or debit extra $2.50. I'm taking my other 2 pets elsewhere. They all " sweet talk to you " then charge you up. I'm so done.

I noticed that most of the negative reviews on here are a few years old and I wish I would have read them ahead of my visit to Caring Hands. I'm here to say the price gouging is still in full force. I took our senior dog in for a K9 dental estimate, we knew she had some issues and would need some special care because of her age and condition of her teeth so we were prepared for the worst but I cannot express enough how shocked and offended I was to hear the treatment was estimated to be 1800 to 2400 dollars. I choose to not accept the estimate and search out a better option, after doing so I was charged 33 Dollars (25 in advance to even book the appointment !). This is a SCAM plain and simple. I ended up finding a qualified vet that gave our pet excellent care for a far lower fee. I know we all love our pets but that doesn't give places like this the right to take advantage of it.

NEVER coming back. Spent thousands with them in the past on dental (don’t fall for their Groupon deals - it’s just to get you in the door), vaccinations, exams, etc. I specifically asked for an estimate of the sample to be taken on both my dogs to be sent to the lab. I understand English fine. Train your receptionists so they don’t lie to people on the phone. Dr Martinez gave me attitude because he wanted to charge me for every little thing. To take a sample to the lab for $1400 - $1700 per dog, really? They do not care about your dogs. Dr Martinez is disrespectful to his regular clients & his receptionists cannot be trusted. Avoid them. I fell for the dental surgery because it was too hot to drive back home and make another appointment somewhere else. Don’t waste your time & money with them. They can care less about you & your fur kids.

My experience at Caring Hands Animal Hospital was nothing short of extraordinary. The compassion, professionalism, and skills of the staff were truly commendable. They recently performed 39 dental extractions on our senior rescue dog, Max, who was treated with the utmost care. The price quoted was honest and fair, reflecting their dedication to providing affordable care without compromising the quality of their services. The impeccable care Max received was clearly evident in his swift recovery, a testament to their professional expertise. The vets professionalism was extraordinary, demonstrating a passion for animal care that is truly inspiring. His understanding and willingness to work with us on the cost was greatly appreciated and showed his commitment to acting in the best interest of our dear Max. From the bottom of our hearts, we extend our sincerest thanks to the entire team at Caring Hands Animal Hospital. Your dedication to animal welfare is unmatched, and we are profoundly grateful for the care Max received. Thank you for working with us and for making Max's health your priority.

Terrible experience here. The vet tech did not seem to have any experience dealing with dogs that have high anxiety. She got frustrated and caught an attitude instead of being patient which did not help the situation at all since my dog was just getting more stressed. I understand my dog can be a handful when she’s anxious but by her attitude, it just seemed like she did not want to deal with it at all instead of offering solutions. When the Dr. walked in my husband wanted me to take the lead in the conversation since he was upset about the situation that had just happened moments prior with the vet tech. My husband was not in the mood to converse at all and I had mentioned it to the Dr. but instead of taking my word for it, he proceeded to slam his hands on the table that was directly in front of my husband's face to get his attention, which was not okay. We ended up leaving and just paying for the consultation since they were not able to answer any of our questions due to my dog's anxiety. We were quoted $600+ for the treatment my dog needed but when we took her to her usual vet it only ended up costing us $350 for the same treatment so I'm not sure why there was such a huge variance in price. I decided to take a chance on them since my dog's usual vet was far since we moved across town but the experience here only made me appreciate her usual vet even more. I don't normally leave reviews but for whatever reason, the review my husband wrote the day of the consultation got deleted.

Took my dog for a dental cleaning on 12/2/2023 based on a groupon.  Brought her home around noon.  At approximately 8 pm, after a walk, I saw and pulled a thermometer plastic sleeve from my dog's rectum (fine my wife pulled it out, but I saw it first).  This is when I became very angry and started to think about all the issues with this place and decided to talk to the office manager.  The office manager was an extremely nice and polite young man.  He was very apologetic and took a picture of the rectal sleeve for his staff as a learning lesson.  The manager said, had the sleeve stayed in my dog's system and gotten lodged inside, there could have been serious issues for my dog.   I did ask if they would discount/refund the cost of the cleaning and he said the owner said no. Aside from the sleeve, my other issues with the business (To be fair, my dog's teeth are clean): 1.  Authentic Reviews?  Yellow pages online has 48 reviews from 2015 and prior.  All have 5 stars.  The second reviewer, Redik L. also did a 5 star review of Sumo Japanese Steakhouse in San Antonio Tx.  The third reviewer, Clasa S., also enjoyed and wrote about a 5 star meal at Sumo Japanese Steakhouse in San Antonio Tx.  They could be a couple I guess who also consider many places their homes.  They both say, they have been going to many businesses for many years.  Only these businesses are not in the same city or state.  To be fair, I only looked at the first 10 reviewers but found pretty much the same patterns.  They have reviews in many different cities and states.  Some also buy a lot of cars. 2. When I picked up my dog.  Her face was matted from the cleaning.  I thought it was just wet, but later realized it was all sticky. Would have been nice if they just used some water to clean her up so she wouldn't have looked so beaten up. 3.They shaved both her legs, yet I only saw bandages on one.  And when we took it off, she immediately started to lick her leg.  This licking lasted for two days.  I'm guessing she was licking her leg because of the pain. 4. The groupon said up to 47% off.  The price was $175 (excluding medicines).  That would make the normal cost of a dental cleaning around $372.  Add on the $146 for medication they charged me for, that totals $518.  Yet somehow on their invoice they give you, they say the price is $792 and you received a $657 discount.  Where did the $792 come from? 5. I had a bad feeling after talking to the person who gave me the initial consult.  She said, my dog needs to get 2-4 teeth pulled.  Even if she needs it, so glad I decided not to get the teeth pulled here.  When I called to cancel the extraction portion, the lady on the phone actually said, "If I don't pull the teeth at the same time as the cleaning, it could lead to more disease."  Meaning it had to be done at the same time.  I'm not a vet, but I find that hard to believe.  I totally understand the need to do an extraction.  However, saying that somehow the cleaning alone would hurt the dog, seems weird.

I loooooove this place. I adopted a real sickly young puppy and they helped me nurse him back to health. Now he’s thriving and doubled his weight! They’re always there for me when I need a break from my big dog by boarding him. They’re kind and helpful. I’ll always return here for all my pet needs.

Dr. Martinez is Lola’s Vet. I’ve been bringing Lola to this Pet clinic since she was a 4 month old puppy. I like the service, the front desk associates are very friendly and helpful. The nurses are very friendly and patient with Lola. Lola feels confortable coming to this clinic and I will continue to bring her for regular check ups so long my doggie is happy and healthy. The rates are reasonable.

Did one of the hardest things I've had to do...put my fur baby out of his misery. Found Caring Hands through Hearts Alive, so glad I did. From my first call there was empathy and the offer to get me in when I needed to. The nurse was caring, thorough and thoughtful. Gentle and loving to my little baby. Dr. Martinez was helpful, informative and kind. No one rushed anything. The euthanasia procedure literally was done in less than a minute and I got to take all the time I needed to snuggle my little guy and say goodbye. I highly recommend these people. Pricing was doable which was very important to me. Im switching vets and will be back. Highly recommend.

Do not buy GROUPON SPECIAL. They say they have a groupon special for dental cleaning and offer blood work. I get shocked and offended with the treatment price. They charged us $55 dollars to tell us that the cleaning and the possible extraction of some teeth of our Chiwawa would cost us an estimated 2500 dollars after "GROUPONSPECIAL". These people are crazy they think that money grows on trees. Let me rob a bank so I can clean my dog's teeth. You have to be a millionaire to take care of your pet in this place. STAY AWAY.

I ABSOLUTELY recommend this place. For starters when I called a few places they all turned me away even though my dog was bleeding excessively. The receptionist I spoke to was wonderful and patient here at Caring Hands, she told me to come right in. My dog was diagnosed with Pyometra and Dr. Armando Martinez explained every detail to what she was diagnosed with, he used examples to make it visible to me. Without a doubt I will always bring my baby here. Thank you, and over again Caring Hands Hospital family, I am forever grateful that you saved my baby.

I took my baby chihuahua to them and they were amazing! They were very nice and very gentle with my brownie. The doctor was very understanding with our situation and helped us out. They understood the emergency and made an appointment for us the next day. The Front desk employees were also very helpful understanding and Amazing they helped me with a payment option they sat there and gave me numbers to call for help. She walked me through the whole process for my baby. I could confidently say they saved my baby brownies life.

My regular vet was closed for the holiday. My dog had a severe rash that couldn't wait.. They were very kind to fit me in right before new year's eve. I've been going to my vet for 30 years but would highly recommend Caring hands and will use them for sure in the future especially because they are closer to my house.

Genuinely cared about my pet and all the other animals there. I am definitely going to use these guys for all my boarding and vet needs.

I have to say everybody I dealt with was very friendly and so kind. I was so worried about my fur baby and they were so kind to me and Bailey. They explained the X-rays and then showed pictures in their book concerning her vertebrae‘s. If you want a vet that shows compassion, I highly recommend Caring Hands Animal Hospital. Thank you for helping me understand Bailey’s condition so she can be her happy playful self again.

I have a 10 month old puppy, Ava and like most puppies, gets into everything. The first time I brought her into Caring Hands Animal Hospital, Dr. Martinez assessed she had allergies which I never knew dogs could have. He gave Ava an injection and some drops. His office called the next day to see how she was doing. I really liked that they followed up on my pup's progress. My second visit was because I thought Ava ate something bad. Dr. Martinez offered suggestions on how to proceed, either with x-rays and/or medication, they also listed the cost of each item. I was able to choose what I felt comfortable with. The third visit was because I thought Ava broke her leg. Dr. Martinez and his vet tech once again offered the same great service and care. I have another vet I've been going to for years for my cat but their personal service is not as it used to be and their prices, I feel, are too expensive. Since being referred to Caring Hands Animal Hospital I will continue to bring my fur babies to see Dr. Martinez. The costs are reasonable, and the personal care is great!!

This place is horrible. Walked in for parasite meds, flea tick heart worm prevention and a teeth cleaning. They were supposedly running a promotion for $175 teeth cleaning but they charge a $200 erroneous fee on top of the $175 which wasn’t disclosed until the estimate. No where on the Groupon does it say anything about a $200 fee. When I asked what the fee was, no one could explain what it was exactly. They also wanted me to pay them directly instead of Groupon which I’m pretty sure is against Groupon rules also. They tried to upsell me on nearly everything when going over the estimate and when they realized I wasn’t going to be up sold on anything, they had a major attitude and demanded I pay a $200 erroneous fee for the cleaning ON TOP of the $175. This was AFTER they made me wait for an hour. Keep in mind I was the only person there at this time. I took work off so I could make time for this appointment and I don’t appreciate them wasting my time. When I asked for simpartica trio , the veterinarian had no idea what it was and when I explained it was a 3 in one medication he said “that makes no sense” kinda alarming a veterinarian doesn’t know what simpartica trio is. Definitely avoid this place, extremely unprofessional and dishonest.

Kady, Michelle & Hunter were all so kind. They made Wolfy feel so comfortable and they were so gentle with him. This was our first vet visit & I was nervous for him but they were great. The prices were good too, and they provided lots of services like hair trims and nail trims that I didn’t expect. Definitely Recommend if you need a pet dr for your babies!

They run discounts on groupon which is good.. the jugular blood taking bruised the hell out of our dog but maybe she’s sensitive… the actual tooth extraction was great though and our dog finally has nice breath so they did a great job there., slightly cheaper place to go for pet needs but you can feel that a little, still, good enough for me to return for dental needs for sure.

I brought in my Boxer and Boston Terrier to establish care. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a friendly smile and was pleasantly surprised how cleaned the lobby was and free from any unpleasant odors. Dr. Martinez, listened to my concerns attentively. This put me at ease since this was my first visit. The consult did not feel rushed and he was thorough with his exam. We addressed the possibility of my Boston Terrier having possibly allergies that may be the contributing factor to her hair loss and post nasal drip. He offered various options and I loved not feeling pressure into additional unnecessary work ups. I opted for adding supplements. So far I am pleased with their staff and the care they provided. Thank you! You gained our trust and respect!

Thank you Dr Martinez. Sheyla was barely eating for the last couple of days. We called a few places around and Caring Hands gave us an appointment within 30 minutes. Dr Martinez explained everything . She ended up needing and having surgery right away. They helped us setup a payment plan. The whole staff here is so nice and caring. She started eating again last evening. We'll be back for a checkup in a week. December 2023- update. She's back to her old self. Thank you !

I had the most wonderful experience at caring hands. They took care of my beloved cat with such exceptional attention and expertise. Katty, one of the nurses was especially kind and caring towards my cat, making the whole visit much more comforting. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The waiting area was clean and well-organized, which helped put both me and my cat at ease. During the consultation, Katty showed genuine concern for my cat's well-being and took the time to listen to my concerns. She explained the treatment plan thoroughly and answered all my questions with patience. I am incredibly grateful and highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of top-notch veterinary care for their beloved pets.

I felt like i was just a number. We purchase a puppy and this vet is the veterinarian for the establishment where we purchased the puppy. We took the puppy in within 24 hours of our purchase. They came in , looked at the shot record, took the stool sample we brought in and told us to come back in 3 weeks. Very cold shoulder experience. We chose this vet because they were the vet on record. The puppy ended having gihardia. We got the medication from them and they barely wanted to answer our questions. We live out of State but had work in the Vegas area the whole month of October. They really wanted us to come back on The 28th. We told them we were going to go home and establish a relationship with our own vet. We saw our vet Nov 2nd and all was well, but it seemed like they were hiding something. The place where we purchased the puppy misrepresented the dog and the dog was sick when we got him.

Terrible experience! Front desk staff could not even give me thier address, had to request several times. I could barely understand the girl on the phone, the communication was absurdly bad. Booked vaccines, bloodwork, teeth cleaning. Our dog is young and healthy, just needed routine care. They tried to extract 3 teeth, for an extra $1,200, we declined. They called me at 2:55 pm and they were closing in 5 minutes and my dog needed to be immediately picked up. This was never mentioned at the time of drop off. My dog never received the vaccines we specifically ordered at the time of booking, found out after we brought him home. The entire experience could not have been more disorganized and chaotic. The whole staff was rude and it felt like one big money grab. We won't ever be back. Read the negative reviews, they all complain about the same thing.

The staff was awesome! The Dr wasn't very friendly and unprofessional. My cat Roxie was very sick I'm grateful that they took her in when they were booked. The Dr tried to give my cat nutritious food with a syringe which I didn't think was necessary and was expensive. I declined and said it wasn't necessary since I've been feeding her myself with a syringe since she's been so sick. It wasn't the best experience and I didn't want to take her here but the other place was booked.

He is first vet I have had that works with you. Kind caring friendly knowledgeable staff and doctor. I am on tight budget so when my fur babies have a problem I can tell him I only have certain amount and they work with you. Figuring out what should and could be done now or next time. I have a very aggressive Gerberian Shepsky and she has to be muzzled and he and his staff handle her just like a pro. My other baby is elderly and has chronic health issues and they deal with her with so much love and kindness. She has to come in frequently for shots and she loves going. She knows she going to feel better and have great experience. She seriously counts going to the vet like it’s a vacation. I love them so much for it and have referred them to friends and family.

BEST VET I EVER HAD! He has helped my shar-pei out more than any other vet. He listens and examines thoroughly. She has chronic health issues. I would and have recommend him to everyone I know.

I would recommend this office definitely. I would use them again! Thank you!!!! Jeannette

I want to thank Dr. Armando Martinez and his staff for the hospitality they gave my dog and me. I took my dog with them and I was very worried about what happening to her, but the nurse named Katherine help me a lot emotionally. I'm very grateful to Dr. Martinez because even though my dog was doing very poorly he took control of the situation and the surgery was a complete success. A big thank you also to Animal Foundation that helped me my dog's surgery. Thank you so much Caring Hand Animal Hospital and without a doubt you are the best.

👍👍 They love my pup and it shows. Am I rich, no. So they give me all the options to best fix my doggo, who has serious skin issues. They recommended many many options to help, my Nala, overcome her itchiness. They do it with care. No pressure. No guilt. Just love for the animal.
