Unfortunately, my experience with doctor Jacqueline Perez-Tselikis was very negative and I would never recommend her to anyone. Let me start by saying that we arrived on time for our appointment and were finally called into the nurse's office about half an hour later. Maybe it's a strange coincidence, but in the meantime three other patients who showed up after our scheduled appointment were served. I can't say a bad word about the nurse, she behaved appropriately, explaining all the procedures performed at our request. The stay in her office took maybe 2 minutes, after which we were ordered to go to the doctor's office. We also waited over 20 minutes there. When the doctor finally showed up, she was friendly and was discussing with us that she is also from another country. As soon as we indicated that our daughter only needed to receive one vaccine set that day, she was very negative to us going forward. We tried to present a vaccination calendar in accordance with one of the European countries from which I come and where my child's first vaccinations were carried out, which was slightly different from the one recommended in the USA (including, but not limited to, dates of subsequent doses of vaccines and different manufacturers). We explained to the doctor that the next doses of the remaining vaccinations will be given at a different time in my country of origin, because the vaccines used there are slightly different from those used in the United States, for example in the number of doses administered. We also said that we are only interested in the vaccine recommended here between 12 and 15 months and in my country between 13 and 14 months (our child is 14 months old). I had previously reviewed this decision with my attending physician, who recommended that, if possible, the vaccination be applied with the same drug (manufacturer) in order to avoid possible complications. The doctor conducting the visit called us anti-vaccine (which didn't make any sense as we had just come to her office that day for vaccination) and told us to find another pediatrician because she is pro-vaccination (which didn't matter because we would never come back here for how we were treated). From the moment we refused the additional vaccines she suggested, she treated us very unkindly. To my husband, who was trying to calm our infant during the examination, who was terrified from crying after the nurse had drawn blood, the doctor said that there is no need to make an effort, the baby will cry anyway. I have never been treated like this by a doctor before. I understand that she could have a different opinion and could discuss it with us politely, but such an assessment and rude approach were out of place. We had with us a translated vaccination calendar from my country and one from the CDC in the US to show which vaccinations our child had already received (that we are up to date, only some vaccination dates differ by several months in the USA and Europe) for which the doctor did not even want to look. It's scary that a pediatrician - a doctor for children is such an unempathetic, unprofessional woman who puts pride and some incomprehensible insult above the child's health. Because I don't think that vaccination at shorter intervals than recommended in the previous country where the vaccination started and with other vaccines than the child received previously is 100% safe. Vaccination calendars were created for a reason to avoid complications, depending on the drug used and the date of the first and last vaccination. To sum up briefly, with all my heart, I do not recommend this pediatrician! It's just a waste of time, frustration, and stress for your child.

I made an appointment on the phone, they took all my insurance information. On the day of her appointment I filled out a very long questionnaire online and again gave my insurance information. I took my daughter for her appointment that I made days ago and they are saying they couldn’t find her insurance! Are you kidding me? The worst part is we waited over an hour past our appointment time while seeing patient after patient go in before us and eventually we just left. Worst experience ever. They don’t even have the courtesy to apologize for the wait AS we’re waiting all this time. The things we have to do to make it to these appointments; take the day off of work to take our kids to their appointments then take my other kid to babysitter and all so they can have us wait hours for nothing just no consideration of peoples lives. Horrible!

Really love our doctor, but the poor quality/performance of the office/support staff has really taken its toll. It has been steadily declining for a while now. Today I scheduled a sick appointment an alternative location due to availability. When I arrived was told no appointment had been made but they will squeeze me in at the end of the day after much discussion. Not sure why I had to go through such lengths to illustrate their mistake. Feels much more like a large corporate cold experience, would no longer recommend.

DO NOT GO HERE! Worst Pediatric Office I have ever been too. They never return calls I leave for the nurses. It is hard to them to ever answer their phone to be honest. Also, they don't keep good notes about their patients.

This peds office is the worst. DO NOT go here. Save yourself some time and find a different office. None of the doctors care. None of my kids have ever even seen the same doctor either. It’s always random. They don’t answer the phone. The nurses that call back are rude and just wanna get off the phone. Today I went to get lab work done for my child which required me to get a babysitter. When we got to Quest we found out I need paper work to do labs. The peds office never told me this and now I have to go back to the peds office to get this paperwork and reschedule the labs. My daughter was already nervous about the labs as well. Wanted to get it all over with. No apologies from them whatsoever. What a waste of time! It often feels like people in the medical world don’t care and this office definitely doesn’t.

Today is Thursday and I’ve been calling since Monday to get a referral for my son. I’ve left multiple messages with their referral department, even stressing the urgency of the matter in one of them. The doctor was fine. Not much personality or bedside manner, but I think she’s a good doctor. Unfortunately, I will be looking for another doctor, though. Office staff can make or break it, and this kind of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. What else will they drop the ball on in the future?

We only went to this office once. I'm not really one to throw a fit if I have to wait - I understand that doctors get backed up but man - we waited an hour and a half in the lobby, my daughters measurements were taken, and THEN waited another 40 minutes once we were taken back to the room. If the doctor asked me 3 questions that was a lot. How could you not ask more questions about a patient you've never met with before? Dr. Greenspun I think her name is, talked down to the nurse and made her retake the measurements when I saw she did it right the first time. It was SO awkward. It was the longest and worst experience we have ever had at a pediatricians office. Not only that, but in order to get in touch with anyone (make appt, reschedule, cancel) you have to wait on hold for like 30 minutes. Who with kids has the time to wait on hold for that long? Just trust me - save your time and don't take your kids here.

Our family, specifically my son has been a patient of Dr. Blank since shortly after he was born in 2006, and the care provided has always been amazing. If I had any type of complaint, it would be the waiting times we've had over the years, as when my son was very young, I think I spent more time waiting at Desert Valley Pediatrics than I spent at home. LOL Over the years my son has had much less issues, so we really only visit now for well appts, and the wait then is to be expected I suppose. Dr. Blank has always spent tons of time with us and made sure our concerns and problems were met with the proper care, and that takes time. So whenever the wait is longer than normal, I know it's because a family is receiving all the time they require, as we once needed ages ago. I've also received phone calls directly from him after hours on many occasions when medication or a referral was needed, I've never had a Dr. call me directly(maybe once in my life if ever), that's normally up to support staff(nurses, office staff).

This Pediatrician Office is not clean. When walking in, with my daughter, for the first time. It smelled like straight poop. As I sat there. Filling out the forms. I was seriously contemplating canceling the appointment. The Pediatrician is a nice women. Front desk is Ok. We won't be returning. Cleanliness is at the Top of my list at any medical center I take my family. 3 Stars for the nice Pediatrician. Please keep your clinic clean, sanitized, smelling well, and nicely painted. People want to feel comfortable. Feeling "germy" in a medical environment is not comfortable.

Lets talk about the level of care and incompetence this office has when it comes to caring for multiples. I have twin daughters that have been seeing Dr. Yu for the passed year. In this last year several orders for medications and referrals to visit other doctors have been made incorrectly to the point my 2 year olds are suffering. Their office FAILED to send over medications and referrals for BOTH children after the visits on several occasions, however they NEVER FORGET to bill for both kids. This office is lazy and money hungry and do not want the best for our children. After specifying with Dr. Yu that I needed a new referral due to an insurance change, it took his office 3 weeks to notify me. Once I called the new therapist they told me they are not contracted with my insurance. Desert Valley Pediatrics referrals department does not answer their phone and they do not return your call within 24 hours. I left 3 voicemails and even asked to speak with the manager Bernie B, who stated they would give me a call back and never did. Lidia A. gave me attitude and told me that it is my insurance problem not theirs. I have been trying to get my girls into therapy since March of this year. It is now December. I am writing to share my experience so that other mothers will not be delayed when seeking treatment. If you have other options for provider care I highly recommend searching elsewhere especially if you are African American. My cries always go unheard with this office and I would hate for another parent to feel the same.

They never answer the phone, expect to call 20 times over days to get someone to answer you. Staff doesnt follow up on what they say you need, we have been waiting weeks for a referral. Some doctors here are very good and some are the worst I have encountered.

Our kids’ doctor is great!! But appointments are so bad it’s almost worth just avoiding this place. You can show up on time, be the only one in there, then 5 others show up after you and go in before you. Front desk staff is rude when you ask them why are waiting so long when you show up on time and you’re not even seen until 45mins-1 hour later. 👎🏻

Honestly I am so sick of this place. Trying to make an appointment always seems to be a stressful process. I was just on hold waiting for over an hour to make an appointment and they managed to hang up the call. I called back and was on hold for another 40mins when I realized they closed and it kept saying I was #8 for 20mins so they were never going to get to my call. Honestly your better off finding another practice as I will be doing as well. Some of doctors are nice so that’s the only reason I’ll give 2stars but trying to get in with them is horrible. Doctors also rotate in all locations so trying to book with the same doctor at the same location can also be a huge headache.

Been going here for over two years and the Drs are great. Waiting on hold for over one hour to make an appointment. Unacceptable and should be corrected just on a customer service perspective. You can’t be the best when you have that kind of challenge.

We see Dr.Finger, she’s great. The first appt I had felt rushed, the second was better. Getting through to talk to someone to make an appt or call for advice takes over a half hour and sometimes you have to leave a message. It would be great to be able to get through to the office and get appts made or questions answered.

I've been taking my son to the Summerlin location for years. I wasn't able to see the doctor we wanted at that location so we booked here. I was dreading the visit after reading many reviews about long wait times. When we walked in, there was barely anywhere to sit because it was so crowded so I was extra nervous. However, it opened up by the time we had checked in and we we were in and out within about 30 minutes of our appointment time. I hate to mention the doctor's name because selfishly, I don't want him to start getting over-booked like the other 2 good doctors in Las Vegas but Dr. Habibi has a true gift. My son is 14 and Dr. Habibi really connects with him like no other pediatrician I've encountered since my first son was born in 1994. There are good, thorough doctors that we as parents may like but I've never had one that could lighten the mood and make my son feel comfortable the way Dr. Habibi does. Please don't move away, Dr. Habibi! :) Also, front desk and nursing staff were great as well.

I called first thing in the morning to change my child’s wellness check to a sick visit and they accommodated us without hesitation. Front desk is wonderful and PA answered all of our concerns.

Other than spending 2 hours for a simple 2 week appointment. They gave away my child's information to someone not authorized and even put their phone number on his account. They don't verify that they're giving information about your kid to the right person.

The doctors seem great that is when you finally get to see them. First of all I waited over an hour and 20 minutes on hold just to make the appointment!! This is not the first time! Then the wait to be called in..then more waiting for the doctor to finally see your already tired of waiting children! Such a mess!!

My kids have been going to Desert Valley since 2010. Summerlin location is the one we visit.. Usually really busy, I have only had 2 visits that were a mess. The only complaint I have is that the exam room walls and ceiling need a good cleaning!!! Dr. Priya Chib is so passionate and understanding to my son's issues. She always makes time for all 3 of my kids. I would go wherever she goes.

Dr.’s are great! But change all this office staffs! They are useless and never worked on your case. I worked on medical field and I never seen an medical records could take 3 months to retrieve?! Should state of Nevada get aware of this?! I keep calling their MR department but never ones had answered! Then called the scheduling department to make sure someone in MRD could help me but just hanged up.

Office manager needs to change staff culture or that location needs a new office manager. I spent my whole day trying to get a new patient appointment and was hung up three times by the automated machine service. I will definitely take my service somewhere else, I can only imagine the poor care my children would receive of they were patients.

😠 If you can, try to go somewhere else, this place is a joke. Do not respect people's time. I get it sometimes the are delays being seen, but 3 hours is unacceptable. This is the second time that it has happened. When you ask the check in people they react like they don't care one bit.
