Really awesome nurses and vets. I brought both my cat and dog here and they got everything they needed. Wish there was better communication between vets, nurses and assistants though. There’s lack of knowledge of care plans and sometimes language barriers. But they are lovely people and my babies are healthy! I would highly recommend this place for anyone bilingual!

I hate to give bad reviews, but here I go. I moved recently to Las Vegas and needed to take my dog to the clinic because he is on ongoing medications and needs a refill every month, and it was required to take him for a first time evaluation at this new clinic, first of all, the front desk lady was not friendly at all, then doctor did not show any empathy or cares about my dog condition, she wanted to changed medication, i refused. Did several test on him that didn’t need, my dog felt so scared and sad, i took him and will never come back to this location.

Our furr baby kittykitty is alive because of the angels that work here at the VCA NELLIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL! Its true that superheroes don't wear capes and fly in from the sky like we see in movies. Angels don't sit in heaven and play harps all day...they are working at the VCA NELLIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL. I recommend this ANIMAL HOSPITAL to all of you out there who have been turned away by everyone else! I recommend this hospital to all of you who have tasted your own tears because you feared the worst for your littlest family member. Dr. Martinez is a real superhero with all the virtues that a true physician should have!

We had to take our dog in, who was passing away. We called twice to let them know we were coming so they would be ready. We were told it would be quick and that they had space. They told us it would only take longer if we as owners needed to say goodbye longer. Our sweet boy was suffering and we just wanted to help him pass with dignity quickly. We advised them of the need to want to help him pass quickly. We were there on our work lunch, and after an hour of being there, our poor boy was still suffering and having seizures. We had to leave him there alone due to the time it took, no apology was given. And closure was just not there. Our dog was unresponsive and just about gone and they still tried to upsell us blood work to try to save him.

We’re from out of town traveling in our rv and had to put our old girl down a week ago. Dr Lindaman came in and performed the euthanasia and was the most professional and kind man ever. He mourned with us when she passed and he was just the most supportive human we’ve ever met. We love you Dr Lindaman and team for making this process just a little less painful. We’re so grateful for this place and this team of folks.

Bought my 11wk old puppy in that I've had since Tuesday today and found out she has parvo. But VCA NELLIS took care of us like the PICU would when I would take my daughter in for her asthma. Our pets are our children and here they understand that. The vet is never fun or cheap but knowing they really do care helps ease the pain.---- She survived parvo

Was able to get my mom a same day appointment. She said the staff was so caring and attentive. Needless to say her dog was dying with liver failure so she was put to sleep

I called early in the morning and spoke to a woman, whose name I did not get, and she was very polite and honest about the pricing and if they’d be able to take us for a walk-in. Staff was so friendly as well. The doctor and tech treated my dog very carefully while remaining friendly towards him. Our concerns were addressed and explained to us in a way we could understand as well. Examination was $103 and the two medications were about $41~ each. It was very affordable compared to other vet clinics I had been to previously with other pets so I highly recommend going here if you’re also low-income. Pets are not cheap but this place is definitely affordable for the quality of care we got here.

Prices are horrendous. I payed at least $100. Less for the same services at Ann road animal hospital. Plus my baby went in there healthy and fine. He came out bleeding from the rectum. 😡 Will never return. I will return to my old animal hospital across town and spend a few bucks more in gas to get excellent care instead.

We had an emergency for our senior and took her there. They have so much compassion for animals and it shows. We are so grateful that they were able to help us with a life threatening illness for our dog and worked within our budget until we could figure out our next steps. They were always upfront about pricing and went out of their way to assist us anyway they could. Thank you all so very much and due to your kindness and honesty Pebbles is on the mend.

Dr Simpson, Mary and the entire staff are simply amazing. Feels like family in a professional atmosphere. If you are a military family I highly recommend this office!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I can’t remember anyones name which is also sad, but they all were fantastic! I just adopted a pitbull from the shelter and he had an allergic reaction to his new food after weening him off of the shelter’s brand. He had hives all over and his face was HUGE! The workers there could not have been nicer. They all played with him and gave him lots of love since he was just adopted so already overwhelmed with all of the changes happening and kind of nervous. This is a great facility, they even covered most of the fee with the credit from the shelter for an exam. Can not recommend them more! Hemingway was a very happy dog when he left!

They were really good with my 17 year old Kahlua when I had to put her down in 2019, got the ashes & paw print & tail clipping back from them later. They also were good with my cat Lilly when I needed her checked out when she gained weight quickly after getting her fixed. They are currently treating my porch cat, Midnight, for broken toes and a big leg cut. He is extremely frightened of most people, but he wasn't scared of any of them! They have called me to check on him and I'm going back in on Saturday for them to check his drain, stitches, and paw.

They are great with my babies. My pit is a service animal and has bad anxiety in public. They were able to complete the exam and vaccine without sedation. A little pushy with selling the insurance, but I understand it's part of their job. I will always bring my pets here.

Had to send our 17.5 yrs old kitty over the Rainbow bridge and the staff and doctors here were professional, warm, and patient. I'm super grateful my wife found this place and she called a few places, checked websites, etc.. Thank you VCA.

This place is horrible. My dog had a cyst that popped on her stomach and without any tests or anything done the blonde woman Vet looked at her and said this is going to be a hospice situation. SO basically take my dog home and let her die. They reminded me how I could take my dog here for the cremation when it's "time" which is great to know - but that wasn't what ended up happening at all. I have changed my dogs diet completely, and added holistic supplements and she's doing better than ever. This was about 6-7 months ago. They also tried DOUBLE CHARGING me for medicine that I had already purchased from them two weeks prior. Didn't even check my history before recommending this medicine that wasn't even for my dogs condition. I told them I needed the refund for that because my dog already has this medicine and truthfully I wasn't giving it to her anyway because it wasn't helping. When I asked for the refund the nurse said "You know you can leave the 50 dollars on file for when you need to do the cremation" That was a disgusting thing to say. WHY would you even say that? I wasn't thinking about bringing my dog back ever again, let alone for cremation. I wasn't going to just let my dog die just because they told me that without even running any tests. I've had my dog since I was 14 and I'm almost 28 years old now. I would never bring my baby girl back there. The wait was insanely long as well. I recommend everyone check out Dr. Harvey's products as well as PetWellBeing! All purchasable online. Those products along with high protein (chicken, beef, fish, eggs, liver, etc. Also tons of vegetables!) clean fresh diet has completely changed her condition. Please please please be weary of taking your pet here. They just want your money.

The minute you walk in you are greeted with years of experience. The front desk is nice. The doctor I saw was thorough and compassionate. Trust your fur babies in the hands of this kind office.

We have taken our sweet boy there for years and the doctors and staff are amazing. They do take care of the animals from beginning to end. Our Harvey lost his battle with cancer and they went over the top to bring our boy home. We are forever thankful♡

I’ve been coming here for 2 years now with my Australian Cattle Dogs. I am very pleased with the care the staff puts into their work . They remember my dogs from their previous visits and always make it a stress free experience for them .

We had previously used Vetco at Petco and weren’t really happy with the service. After our girl had an allergic reaction from a Vetco vaccine we stopped here to make sure she was okay. They were so gracious and checked her blood pressure to make sure she was okay and advised of ways to help her recover quicker. They didn’t charge us and we’ve been customers ever since. They are so kind and helpful. Deanna took the time to explain to us the spaying process and she was so patient with our girl when she didn’t want the vaccine. Great staff, great service, just all around an amazing vet. I fully trust them with our girl Kenai and will continue to use them.

This hospital was very kind and easy to work with and did not charge an arm and a leg to put my dog down that was 16 yrs old .they were very honest and kind and I even had him cremated and put in a nice wooden box that says his name on it. They put him to sleep and creamated him for less than$400 which was a helper for me. I didn't have allot of money and my poor dogs quality of life was not very good since he was 16 yrs.old.If I have any other animal needs I will for sure bring them to this hospital thank you again

I've never thought I would leave vca anything less than 4 stars but they are now the worst veterinarian I've ever taken my dog to over the past 14 years. I thought they were the best for the longest time. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Leaving a senior dog waiting for close to 2 hours causing him an immense amount of stress is just ridiculous. Were they busy? No they saw 3 pets in the almost 2 hours we were waiting there for. DO NOT GET THEIR VCA CARE CLUB scam. It's only good at 1 location even though there are other vca hospitals in Las Vegas. I'm canceling and letting it go to collections as soon as I get my dog the care he desperately needs. Simply unbelievably bad service.

Very disappointed in this place not once but twice refused to see my dog! They had canceled the first visit after they agreed to see my dog! Then rescheduled it to canceled it again! Now that something may have happened to the immune system they want me to sit hours at the vet to see the vet! I can understand that it's busy and the vet has many appointments, but I already had an appointmentade for another animal they could have seen my dog instead! Because even the lady on the phone said it could be potentially a dangerous situation! Your my vet and suppose to take care of the animals, this is not taking care of them! So I canceled my appointment for my other animal im certainly not sitting there to wait how many hours so i might ger to see the vet!!!!!! Shame on you VCA Animal hospital! Shame on you!
