I took my child here for an initial evaluation and the appointment was phenomenal. Dr Kolade was an active listener, was kind to myself and my child, and had incredible bedside manner. His H and P was very comprehensive and he gave clear instructions about f/u. He really demonstrated that he cared. Today, however, was my child’s 3 month f/u appt and it was clear that he did not complete a chart review prior to greeting us. He wasn’t sure what my son was being seen for. However, I had no problem getting him up to speed. To wrap up the visit, he was dismissive, attempted to correct my grammar on multiple occasions, rushed me, interrupted me several times during my explanation of things, and did not validate me. I’m a health care professional, which he did not know, but I will be sure to never refer my patients to him for psychiatric evaluation or treatment.

By far the rudest doctor I’ve ever have the displeasure of meeting. Walked in and just asked about his hundred globes he has on his desk, he immediately says sit down we’re not here to talk about that( yet this was after I waited three hours to be called back). Then this doctor proceeded to never make eye contact with me once, and just stared at his computer reading his Patient survey and clicking away on his computer. Yet after a whopping five minutes of knowing me said some of the rudest things to me I do not wish to repeat. Another thing when you first walk through the door they have this giant metal door where the bathroom is and they immediately make you walk in take a drug test put it in another metal door lock it in and then go back to your seat. If I knew what it was to have to interact with a parole officer I would think it be just like that. Absolutely horrible doctor would never recommend nor ever go back. I went in there with PTSD looking for treatment, and was treated as a criminal. Also for anyone that’s going to send their kids there please don’t, he’s probably gonna end up traumatizing them.

This is by far the worst place. I was given a questionnaire to fill out for my son! Not once my child was asked to say something nor be seen. We had to do this over the phone. I spoke with a lady at first and said he needs some speech therapies. Dr kolade after not knowing why he called me he said that he would call me back to review our results. Calls me back and tells me from the questions was asked he has adhd and should get medicine to calm him down. He is 5 so He NEEDS NO THERAPY!!!!! I got off the phone quick checked the reviews and little did I know this man is just prescribing pills just to get a buck outta you. This is ridiculous. Unprofessional and never seeing me again. I will be reporting him very soon.

Reading some of these reviews and I dont know what Dr. Kolade they saw. The Dr. Kolade I saw literally walked in the room said "Hi, how are you?" I go "okay" and hands me my prescriptions. He was with me less than one minute, didn't ask about my thoughts or anything or even give me the chance to say I haven't been sleeping maybe my meds need changed???....So since my copay is $70 a visit I asked can I get refills so I dont have to have to come every month since this is a hi/bye transaction, he said no. I have went to this office 4 months now and was initially told that if my meds do not change I can get refills after 3 months, that was a lie. I will not be going back and I suggest if your looking for an office choose elsewhere and if your family members suicidal they'll leave with less hope in this world than they walked in with.

People be hatin'! Dr. Akindele Kolade, MD is the best at what he does. We suffer SEVERAL severe mental conditions and he is patient and relatable even to someone as strange as we are. Thank you Dr. Kolade for always smiling and brightening our otherwise dark days! Thank you for working hard to help us find the best medications for our body. You and your staff are REAL and amazing! Thank you for keeping it 💯!

Im very frustrated and upset. I came to get a solid answer. I took the day off of work so my son can get evaluated. We sat and waited for over an hour just so he can bring us in for five mins and didnt even talk once to my child. Didnt observe him didnt ask him not one question then had me check off a check list. Walked out of the room. Came back in and said "oh yeah thats what he has i would strongly suggest medication" like seriously. I have never in my life seen that the 4 years ive worked with children ever.

If I could give this crook negative stars I would. My first appointment with Kolade was about 3mins. He never even asked me what was wrong or to describe my symptoms or anything about my medical history. I have had my mental illness for over 13yrs taking the same medication the whole time and it works.. My insurance changed so I had to change my doctor and with one look he was ready to prescribe me unknown meds when my meds were fine!!!! He also is very rude, condescending, and arrogant it doesn’t make it any better that you can’t understand him either.

Very RUDE staff. They have my daugther on auto appointments and she runs out of her medication so I call and whoever answered the phone was super rude. She sighed as if I was bothering her. Everytime I call there they are always so rude I will be looking for a different doctor.

I am so very grateful for Dr. Kolade and staff!! May was especially helpful!! She went above and beyond and took the time to answer all of our questions and when it came to current situation, she really helped!! She absolutely made sure that I was welcome and taken care of!! She had me an appointment scheduled asap and even had everything lined up at my pharmacy!!! As far as Dr. Kolade goes, he was very kind. Gave me all the time I needed as far as explaining my situation, etc. He listened and helped me understand his process and his thoughts. All I can say is he stepped up in a very big way helping me stay in a healthy mind state and cared about my well being!!! I would absolutely highly recommend!!! They're A+++ in my book!!

This is 0 star. Yolanda is one of the staff and scheduler of this Doctor office she said she is the manager yet her attitude is Unprofessional and very Rude on the phone regarding the patients information. Yolanda If you don't want your job or carreer quit and leave because your the type of person that will Ruin the Doctor's Reputation.

Somebody by the name of Yolanda or whatever her name is very rude always has attitude for no reason, she shouldn’t be at a place where she ain’t happy at & if she don’t know how to do her job right why is she even there, always answering the phones with attitude for no apparent reason. Def going to take this up with upper management.
