Have been here twice. The waiting room is like a bus station in a third world country. No appointments are taken for x-rays so the first question is, Do you have an appointment? Then I was informed the wait would be 30-40 minutes. The bored teenager at reception then took my ID, insurance cards, and referral so I was basically held hostage in the waiting room. Profits are more important than patient care at Desert Radiology.

I had an early appointment, checked in on time didn't have to wait long at all. Both representative was helpful and nice. The nurse techs, and the Dr. were also professional, nice and pleasant. My procedure was quick, simple and painless. Several hours after the procedure I didn't need to take any pain pills at all. For me I had a great experience. I give them 5 stars and would have given them more if they had more stars posted....

A very busy crowded place. They handled it fairly quickly. I really liked the MRI person. The appointment was right on time.

Extremely crowded. However, the waiting room staff were Excellent! No problems. NOT so much, though, when I finally checked into the X-Ray room. The X-Ray tech couldn’t give a care. Rushed me through signing paperwork, without clearly explaining I could be responsible for payment of additional tests, if insurance didn’t cover. When I asked about the expense, she rudely stated “Don’t you have insurance?” Dr. came in and jabbed me in the neck with the anesthesia then proceeded to jab me 5 additional times to extract the sample from my thyroid. No warning, no checking if I was alright, just jab, jab, etc… After he left, the X-ray tech gave me a bag of ice, left the room and gave me no follow on instructions. Not so much as a by your leave. I’d previously had this procedure performed, at the same clinic and had a wonderful experience. Not this time around. Be aware, be warned and be prepared!

From the second I walked into this place I was completely satisfied. I was definitely nervous about getting a biopsy but the nurse(and the trainee with her) really talked me through everything and made things so much easier. They even warmed the room up when I said I was cold. The Doctor was also amazing. He really knew what he was doing and asked if I had questions but I did not because the nurse really prepared me on what was happening. During the procedure I felt very minimal pain. Results came 2 days later and thankfully it was benign. I really appreciated everything Desert Radiology did for me. Thank you.

What a great experience. The employees were friendly and handled my needs quickly. I was taken back for my MRI before my appointment time. I needed a CD for the doctor and they got that for me in 15 minutes after my scan, saved me from making an extra trip. Love the fresh plants in the office as well, it's very nice.

I took my 94 year old mom in for a CT with and without contrast. Staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable from walking in to complettion. It was very quick and they took special care when removing IV due to her being on a blood thinner. Very grateful. Great experience. The short wait to go back to get all the paper work completed was worth the care she received once called back for scan. Much gratitude!

up on making the appointment. I have to wait over hour and a half to speak to representative .. I needed an MRI the wait was over one month….when my appointment was ready I went the stuff were very nice but when I checked in, they booked me with a technician who was in the training and he booked me three times and he was hurting me and I told him many time. Lots of people draw blood from me never had a problem before, are you training? I asked him he said yes I requested. Help someone else came and helped and it was. Super smooth. That’s what my experience with Desert Rediology I do not appreciate what they did.

My procedure on 11/16 went very well there was very little wait time which is always a plus. Once in the back I was taken in the room and explained everything by the radiology nurse, step by step. Shortly after the Dr. came in went over everything and everything was don't with no pain to me. The area was clean and sterile nice radio station. Overall it was a good experience.

My recent visit to Desert Radiology was highly satisfactory. All staff members were courteous and professional; greeter at the main entrance, the check-in desk, the providers. I was completely comfortable before, during and after my Rad procedures which were fully explained to me and followup was provided a few days later. It was a pleasurable experience.

Thanks to the staff of DR for making my experience a good one. They were very thorough with explaining my procedure to me and made sure I was comfortable. Dr Kulesha is the best! I didnt have any pain during the procedure. The technician/nurse was super awesome too. She is very patient and gentle and took her time with me. No rush at all. Highly recommend DR at Palomino.

The Techs were great once I finally got to have my procedure! The front office staff was very unprofessional and deceitful!! I checked in at 7:06 a.m. for a 7:30 appointment!! I had to go up to the front desk and asked why was I not even checked in yet and it was 7:33???? I was told that I would be called soon but there were other patients with 7-7:15 appointments which should not have anything to do with me as I was having a Biopsy!! I finally got checked in and still had to wait over an hour to be called in to have my procedure done!!! When I asked the technician why did I have to wait so long she told me Because I checked in LATE !!! So they took someone else BEFORE ME!!! I wasted 2 Hours there!!! BEWARE if you have to go to the Palomino office !!

I recently had a breast biopsy and experienced the most pleasant and sincere workers. They made me feel very comfortable and were very attentive. The most friendly atmosphere in a medical facility I have ever experienced! Thank you girls!

This location is great! Very professional staff always - have been here MANY times. Today's wait time was much longer than usual but that's not a problem for me. HOWEVER, the call time for an appointment is ridiculously far too long....

The call center that handles appointments is beyond unprofessional. I had them call me more than once to confirm then the day of appointment they called me last minute to see if I could come in early. Then the girl asked me if I was still coming in and what time although she had my appointment time in front of her face. The people at the facility are nice but lazy when I asked about dates and times and said I’m open to all facilities they said all places are booked up till may. I asked the guy if he checked all facilities he said yes. I repeated myself several times and said all facilities. Finally after making it clear I know they didn’t check all places for open appointments I was able to get times only a few weeks out. They simply don’t want to do there jobs. It’s just ridiculous.

Doctor order an mri as a rush, we were told by the doctors that if we didn't get a call within 24 hrs to call DR and get it scheduled. When we didn't get a call we contact DR and were told that because the order was a rush DR had to contact us to fit us into their schedule. We waited a few more days, but no call. After 2 weeks of calling and been told I have to wait for DR to call us I called the doctor office and explain that DR wasn't calling us for the appointment. Next day DR called and gave us an appointment right away, but in the instructions she clearly states "no dietary restrictions" require, we get to the appointment and they ask if I was fasting. Because I was not given that instruction at the time of the appointment, we had to reschedule. Not sure why it will take over 2 weeks to schedule a rush appointment, they could easily call me within 24 hrs and set it up for 2 weeks out. I wouldn't have known the difference.

First time there …minimal wait time all the way around . Very polite, competent staff. The actual procedures were swift , accurate and painless . The techs were equally professional! If I need to return for whatever they offer , this is the place to go !!

Probably shouldn’t give people multiple chances to leave a bad review, I received multiple emails telling me to review so here it is… had the worst experience here. There was another patient with the same name as me so I kept hearing my name called but it was actually someone else and when I asked the front desk about if my name was called one of the lady’s just shrugged her shoulders and went back to working. Spent an hour waiting after appointment time, and that’s not counting the 30 minutes they have you show up early for “paperwork”. Then spent another hour for the procedure that supposedly would take 20 minutes… it sucks cause healthcare is not what it used to be. It’s all a money making scam and the workers only care about they’re paycheck and not patient care or satisfaction. I only give two stars because the technician was sweet.

Very professional and moved things right along. I was very surprised at how quickly they moved people along, as it was quite a few people there when I arrived. I thought I would be there at least two hours. Not so, I was in and out in just about an hour. I was pleasantly surprised and happy!

The associates at DR are very professional and caring. Michael, the greeter, was very helpful and polite. The person who checked me in was very professional and patient with me while I was trying to get the documentation she needed. The X-ray tech was very polite and humorous. If I ever need to get scans or X-rays I try to come to DR because of their awesome staff. DR-Palomino is the best!

Every time I go to DR never have a bad experience. The front desk is great at there jobs. The technician are great as well. Never really have a long wait time to be seen. Great job everybody keep up the good work.

I appreciate the professionalism demonstrated by Devin and Fiona at the front desk. I trust the upcoming procedure to be performed will be of equal practice at the least. Everyone does great work at Desert Radiology. Beware of any third party affiliates of theirs calling you requesting information that DR is possibly not otherwise authorized to disclose depending on what you signed and whether or not you read what you agree to regarding Privacy information for example. I was caught off guard and unwittingly, not thinking, automatically freely gave out exact appointment date and time information. There was no legitimate, relevant reason(s) for that third party to know that. I can think of NONE. Yes, as usual for me, things got strange (orange , Dodge Charger) ... true to form as it has played out, in retrospect, for at least a decade times two. The point is that you don't want just anyone having access to non-public information. I believe DR will not give that out if that is your choice to allow or not as doing so is a violation of the law in general as far as that goes, no one wants that kind of legal problems. I greatly appreciated the assistance at the front reception area personally. There is, or was, a helpful, courteous, professional door man to greet clients as well. It's always a good day when no barbs appear implied at the end of the day and your PTSD kicks in.

Upon entry the waiting room was clean and smelled clean, and there was going to be hardly a wait. I was greeted by friendly and courteous receptionist right away, and I explained that I had been referred by SDMI. After accepting my paperwork I was set up for my X-ray, and within 5 minutes I was called to the back. The X-ray tech was friendly and courteous, and she had me in and out. Within 15-20 minutes I was done with the entire process. Absolutely loved it, will tell others, and will definitely be returning if my insurance is accepted.

This DR location is the best! The staff at Palomino was SO nice! Everyone from the security guard to the x-Ray technician. They were very efficient too. The place was very clean and the staff and place was very professional. I left having a positive experience.This is the way businesses should operate. Credit to DR for the hiring of the staff at this location, it makes all the difference in the world.

All staff were very helpful and friendly. The gal that ran. Y nuclear tests was so pleasant and accommodating. It was a very good experience and recommend this DR got your future radiology needs .

Excellent service, the entire staff is very friendly from front desk to the technicians doing procedures. The only thing that I didn't like was being on hold 1 and half hours trying to book my appointment. Please improve your scheduling procedures. Thank you

The doctors and staff at DR are very professional and also experts in their field. The only reason I did not give a full 5 star rating is because it was initially difficult to get past the phone scheduling process. After I got scheduled everything else been top notch!

First review 9-19-23Rescheduled me on the same day of my test. Had to leave work early for nothing. Not fair . Take 2 hours to answer phone. 9-19-23 later in the day: Changed my rating from one to 5 because I decided to show up in person and I was pleasantly surprised. The team at palomino helped me and I got seen. The the greeter was very kind, the check in person was kind and the person who helped me get seen was so sweet. My mammo and US tech were awesome too. Ty for turning my experience around completely for the better. Staff at palomino showed me they cared 😀.

The appointment call was a bit long, but I shouldn't have worried. Once there, everyone was prompt, courteous, efficient and really kind. There was no unnecessary waiting or steps and I was able to get back to my life quickly and without stress.

The office is clean and maybe could be more organized. Christy and Mitzi were great at answering all of my concerns and fears about the tests and the equipment. I would be honored to share a meal with them both, just not at their place of employment. I did not rate 5 stars because I was not told of the deductible when I made the appointment. That was more shocking than the test itself.

They were very helpful and respectful, very satisfied with their customer service. They got you in and out didn’t have to wait very long. If I could go there for all of my test, then I would.

Everyone at the front desk was very nice and smiled. The technician who gave me my sonogram explained what she was doing and what she was looking for. I am unsteady on my feet and she helped me walk back to the procedure room and then to the exit. I have been pleased every time I go to Desert Radiology on Palomino. The staff there has always been great.

Everyone at this facility are friendly and helpful! Personally, I had an issue with my paperwork but the staff did not give up! I was able to get my MRI and be on my way! The “tech” was thorough and professional but could use a little personality to enhance the experience! 😉

I appreciated all the "extra" care I received. The time the nurse, Dr. and others spent with me really helped me be at ease. I thank them for explaining everything about the procedure and what the different outcomes might be. 💞

Kristine was a superb nuclear medicine staff/nurse. She explained to me step by step the procedure all the way till the end. She was very professional and very detail oriented. She has that calming magic touch that make you feel at ease in a very intimidating setting. There should be more medical staff like her!!

I had a breast biopsy and I was very impressed with the facility and staff. Dr Chen who performed the procedure and asked several times how I feeling and if I had any questions. His assistant was extremely helpful and put me at ease

Desert Radiation is completely a five star facility. I've had choices to go to your other facilities but I said no I'll just wait a little longer to go to Palomino. Love it there. Miss my catalogues. But I understand how Covid has changed almost everything. I've been going there since 2016 or 2017. Thanks for your great services.

I came in for a biopsy. I was quickly processed in the reception area and had the procedure explained to me the entire time I was in their care. Jasmine was my nurse and she gave very good care and supported me through the entire process. They provided me with very good care

I was very anxious upon arrival to my appointment for a procedure that was new to me - a needle biopsy. My interaction with the staff was professional and calmly reassuring throughout my visit. The facility was clean and there was ample spaced seating in the waiting area - both inside and out.

I always use the Palomino DR for any tests needed. The staff is friendly, wait times are minimal, and the technicians are thorough & professional. Had an x-ray done yesterday & the tech was awesome. I wish I would have thanked him for his service with the National Guard. I believe his name was George (I apologize if I have gotten the wrong name). So, hoping he sees the message - thank you for your service!

Great front office and exam room staff. No appointments for X-rays and flexibility of appointments in the other locations for MRI and CT scans. They even adjusted their schedule on the day of my MRI so that I didn't have to come back a second time for the CT scan. I highly recommend them.

I had a pleasant experience. The security guard was very nice, the front desk staff was as well. My technician was very gentle and kind. My results were at my PCP's office within 48 hours. Will continue to go to that site as I have for past 8 to 9 years.

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive to my needs and concerns. They answered all my questions and were extremely professional. The wait, as well as the actual procedure, was all completed in a timely manner. The only downside was that the bed could not be lowered and getting up the STEEP steps and onto the bed was frightening and difficult for someone who uses a walker because of balance issues.

The staff is always excellent at their jobs. BUT, it takes a minimum of an HOUR to call to schedule an appointment and absolutely forever to get your results. I asked for my results to be emailed to me, of course that never happened. I feel like the staff works very hard but they are apparently stretched to their limit. Hire more people so that your patients don't suffer because of it!!

Somehow I went for two images at 8 a.m. when my appointment was for 12:10 p.m. When I checked in and realized my BIG mistake, I was so irritated with myself. The people there made it work! Although I had about an hour wait, I was happy that my two images were completed and I was on my way within 1.5 hours. In addition, the mammogram tech was super, better skilled than any other tech that I have had in my life! I always use Desert Radiologists as they are fairly on schedule already. Helping me with my very early arrival made me like them even more.

With the limited experience I've had with DR, I've always been greeted with a smile and courtesy by the front office staff. The x-ray techs have conducted themselves in an amiable and professional manner. Also the waiting time has been reasonable.

My experience was handled carefully & professionally by both the MD & the medical assistant. They made biopsy painless & efficiently! The medical assistant had prompt solutions for my personal situation - panic attack!

Got there early for appointment. My ultrasounf tech (Brianna I think) was amazing. Friendly and mad me feel comfortable. I know she could not tell me anything about the results as much as I wanted to ask. Experience was wonderful. I may not have tech name correct however she was super pleasant.

As per usual, the staff at Desert Radiology is welcoming, friendly, thorough & efficient…. From being greeted at the door upon arrival through to check-out, never an unpleasant moment. The procedures themselves work like clockwork. I always feel like a valued client, not just a number. Thank you desert radiology team!

The facility and personnel were very professional but I told the radiologist that I had just had back surgery a week ago and she hurt me tremendously getting off of the table. I am back at square one my leg nerve pain. She needs to know you cannot twist a person when they just had back surgery. They need to stay in a human log roll to get up and down. I told her before she started to get me up but she continued to get me up as a person who hadn't had back surgery. Otherwise all else was fine..

The ultrasound tech was pretty knowledgeable and made me feel at ease, the doctor was quick and very efficient. Overall, the experience wasn't bad. Getting an appt. Is another story. Must b persistent n not give up. Had to call for days before I managed to get a stat appt.

I arrive to my appointment early as requested through the agency, and they took me in quickly and performed with they were supposed to do in a timely manner. The office felt comfortable and warm!

On arrival what a pleasant surprise to have security open the door and direct me to the receptionist. Receptionist was very pleasant. My wait time was 15 minutes for a chest xray. The chest xray tech was very professional and pleasant. My experience with DR was awesome.

I was Refered by my doctor and since it was only just over a block away I decided to stop and see if they had time to get me in for a chest X-ray. From arriving to departure was maybe 15 minutes at most. Staff was great and the facility was spotless. It was my first time there and would have no problem going back and would refer them to anyone in need of their services.

This was my first time at this facility and I felt very comfortable because the staff members were sooo nice. All 3 of them, because I had three different procedures done. I would definitely recommend my family and friends. The lady that done my mammogram was so helpful with all the paperwork I had to fill out, because I forgot my glasses so she read the questions for me and I just answered them. I thought that was so sweet and helpful because I was struggling trying to read some of the small lettering. GREAT STAFF MEMBERS!!!!! GREAT FACILITY!!!
