It is very sad and pathetic to have to leave a google review for this athletic Club. I had just previously moved to Nevada prior to the pandemic. Even through most of the shut down I was able to maintain financially, and after everything re-opened I signed a contract with LVAC. Truth though. the pandemic was still hitting hard and I was not able to financially maintain paying bills car payments etc. I had to relocate back to Arizona. By all means I tried my hardest to avoid that. In the process of moving back to Arizona I contacted LVAC to plea with them To ask them if they could excuse my contract due to A pandemic and let them know I would no longer need their services and had to go back to Arizona. They refused. Wow how caring. A company that is absolutely heartless. People should think twice about what clubs they use because to some you’re just a contract.

0 stars I'm sure they will just delete this review like they do with all reviews like this, but I'm heading to reddit next. 😐 Lvac is a total scam, they make people sign 2 or 3 year contracts and charge late fees every day equaling more than the monthly membership price doubled or tripled.... they hang up on me whenever I ask their customer service team why I keep getting charged and the app and website have no options to do anything besides make payments, you can't even see payment history or balances owed. I have no idea how this company has multiple locations in Vegas. SCAM

Since my workplace hasn't opened up the gym yet, I decided to try out LVAC since it is the closest location from my house. Instead of going for a long-term commitment, I decided to use the short-term deal which is three months for $99. It might seem a little steep but it will give me the workout I need until my workplace's workout facility opens back up. This gym has everything you need whether you want to use weights, treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, stair climbers, etc. The front desk employees are courteous and the place is very clean overall. If the gym at my workplace doesn't open up anytime soon, I will surely rejoin again.

Awesome Gym, first time there. Zumba was great and I felt comfortable in the class and able to go at my own pace. I would have given LVAC a 5 star rating, but it seemed every hand sanitizer dispenser on the walls were empty. Except the one up front. That's unacceptable. The gym is a breeding ground for viral and bacterial illnesses. So, they need to do better in this area. Next time, I'll bring my own. *I noticed 3 staff upfront, so not sure how come one of them couldn't insure that they are filled often. Anywho, cool experience otherwise. -TR👍🏼

Great location it has lots of equipment for best gym experience, also you will need ti bring a lock for locker room or a quarter. They have special protein shakes love ❤️ it my recommendation try Tropic treat or a Blueberry chia protein plus blends ! Pool is good 👍 and sauna jacuzzi too!

Ive been going to this location for years, recently I’ve noticed this man taking pictures of women while they’re working out. I decided to bring it to the attention of the employees and the manager, first employee I told literally talked to him for 5 seconds gave him a pat on the shoulder and that’s all that was done. So that’s when I decided to tell all employees that were there. I couldn’t stay long to see how things turned out but from what I know this man was not banned and is probably still taking pictures of woman while they are working out and for that shame on LVAC I have not gone back since the incident and I don’t blame women for not coming here if sleezeball men like that are still welcomed to come.

Even though the gym is really nice and well kept, the process of cancelling the membership is a nightmare. I had a membership there in 2019 and had to relocate to the East Coast because my husband is in the Military. I was willing to pay the $100 cancellation fee for both accounts (as mentioned on the contract), contacted their customer service through e-mail to request the cancellation, we went through all the steps (I provided the USPS forwarding mail proof and the new leasing contract) and it was DEAD silence after that e-mail. Followed up numerous times and nothing (I kept all the original e-mails and correspondence with the LVAC employee). After that I was sent to collections for this petty account and had to deal with all the rudeness coming from Aargon agency. Mind you I contacted the gym for a cancellation right before leaving Vegas (not after we moved). Very stressful that I have to deal with this collections amount on my credit report, when I initially wanted to pay the cancellation fee.

Despite the rules and prominant signage, employees and guests alike do not wear face masks. This is not an institution devoted to health and wellness.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and outrage with the conduct and behavior of the LVAC 215 & Flamingo manager, Paul, as well as a specific personal trainer who consistently wears a pink Yankees hat. My experiences with both individuals have been nothing short of deplorable, and it is crucial for you to be aware of these distressing matters. First and foremost, Paul the LVAC gym manager, has repeatedly shown a complete lack of professionalism and integrity. It is disheartening to report that Paul has been involved in teaming up with the personal trainer wearing the pink Yankees hat to mistreat and disrespect gym members, myself included. Their behavior has been nothing short of abhorrent and has created an atmosphere of hostility and discrimination within the gym. I have personally been subjected to derogatory remarks and belittlement from the personal trainer in question. This individual, whose primary responsibility should be to provide guidance and support, has instead chosen to mock and disrespect me. Furthermore, Paul's collusion with this personal trainer has led to the distortion and fabrication of stories against gym members. I have witnessed an instance where they have deliberately lied and twisted facts to protect their interests, at the expense of innocent members. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also deeply damaging to the trust and camaraderie that should exist within a gym community. I must emphasize that I have been a loyal member of LVAC for a significant period, and it is disheartening to be treated with such disrespect and contempt. The lack of professionalism, integrity, and fairness exhibited by both Paul and the personal trainer has left me with no choice but to terminate my membership with immediate effect. It is my sincere recommendation to anyone considering a gym membership to avoid this LVAC establishment at all costs. The appalling conduct of the staff, particularly the manager and the personal trainer mentioned, has created an environment that is not only unwelcoming but also detrimental to the pursuit of personal fitness goals. I hope you take this complaint seriously and investigate the matter thoroughly. It is imperative that the LVAC management team addresses these issues promptly and takes appropriate actions to rectify the situation. A gym should be a place of support, encouragement, and inclusivity, and the current state of affairs at this gym is a complete departure from those ideals. I genuinely hope no other gym member has to endure such a distressing experience.

Today i went to take a tour to become a New client at this gym. Person in red shirt told yes please give me a few minutes. I Walter about 10 minutes i San him on the phone, and domingo other stuff and then left.. i approach the to Girls in the front. And i asked did he forgot or how much longer? Thw Girls said he is very busy today. Im was in shocked busy for a New member for a New business... wow very disapointed !!

(Update) After thinking about it I decide to review my review again, so this Gym is not like the other locations this location is 1 single floor but I have to admitted is better than going up and down and more easy to get where you need to, although is not fully clean like a detergent commercial, they do their best, the parking lot is great and due is 1 single floor don't have the same amount of machines and equipment like the other location but is still great experience.

I'm not crazy about the cast iron weights, but I like everything else about this place. It's very small compared to other LVAC locations, but I really like it a lot. To all the people who use this gym, or will use it in the future; please stop leaving the empty water bottles, and weights laying all over the place. Does your mother work here? Come on people! It still has the snack bar, but only 1 group fitness room. Still, it's my preferred location, out of the 3 I have tried. Update: I recently came to the end of my initial contract with them. To satisfy my curiosity I took a tour of 3 different franchise gyms in the area. Honestly they didn't measure up. Each of the 3 had something good about them, for instance one of them had an IR spa, and water massage tables. That was kind of cool; But none of them had as much to offer for the value of your membership as LVAC. I ended up coming back.

Do not go to this gym. Waiting on plates all day long. Gym smells like feces and the weight equipment is all old, unsanitary, and poorly maintained. The staff is also full of scammers charging your card hidden fees without permission.

I always go here since it's the only closest gym to my house. Only that Thai gym needs to be upgraded. You could really tell how old the equipment are. But still it's OK.

Love this place. I was literally like a kid in a candy story here. I would always train here when in Vegas for sure. The staff at this location were amazing and extremely helpful. Lots of equipment, great free weights, clean, and an assortment of cardio machines to choose from. Will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Vegas for a hard-core workout. Thanks, LVAC, for showing me so much love!

Would be 5 starts, but I can never find 2.5 lb plates and it throws off my lift percentages. 😭 Plus, wandering around looking for them is awkward, adds time to my workout and leaves my spot open for someone to take. Other than that, 0 complaints! Clean, great equipment, friendly staff.

Can't say enough good things about this facility. The staff AMAZING! Clean... Tons of open machines... Lots of pretty things to look at. LoL. For men and women. Helps motivate, ya know?!? Try it out. You won't be sorry.

The lap pool has been closed now for over a month. They keep telling me they're waiting on a permit. How much longer? The only reason I chose this gym is because of the pool. I will discontinue my membership if this isn't resolved.

Very clean and great staff. Rest rooms and showers are perfecto! Huge indoor pools. I'm happy to be a member here. The picture is from the Maryland location, which is more spacious and they do have more equipment options, but I prefer the woman's locker room at the Sahara branch.. Shawn, signed me up and his service was/is top notch. 🌹💃🏾

No gym is perfect but LVAC is pretty great. Low prices, good equipment and a hell of a lot of classes. I’ve been a member since 2010 and really recommend it.

Just a small packed gym filled with a whole lot of douche bags .. the staff will allow the big buff lunks to take off their shirts and intimidate you while you work.. make you feel fat while they are all ripped and steroid out … don’t go to this gym if your fat or have body issues cause your just going to leave feeling worst than you do.. especially at the times from 7pm-10pm.. And hope you don’t come when theirs this blond skinny front desk lady she won’t even lift up her head to great you welcome or farewell .. your just inconvenience to her …

Worst experience ever, they put me through collection two times for not paying my membership that I thought I had already canceled. I already made payments through the first collection agency and I already paid it off and now they put another collection and stating that I haven’t been making payments smh. So I called the first agency and they said that the account is closed and that I’ve been making payments and I paid in full. And here I am talking with LVAC billing representative and she said that they haven’t received any payments. Screw this place, if you ever try to get a membership from this place pls don’t. Go to EOSFITNESS! These guys are crooks and if you do try to cancel your membership go straight to the gym and expect to pay a fine to cancel your membership. And don’t sign any contract with these THIEVES.

The staff is great , location great but honestly looks really old like it needs to be renovated and also it barely has classes

I am a local guide and I would absolutely NOT recommend this gym. Very unprofessional and I had some property stolen while attending this gym. My advice, lifetime gym, 24 hour fitness, or even driving the extra few miles to the LVAC in summerlin. This is a pretty reputable gym and something like that should never happen.

I LOVE LVAC! Every location has similar features but manages to be unique. My main club is on Maryland Parkway but I found the Sahara club to be very friendly as well.

It is one of the older and smaller LVAC Clubs but it is one of my favorite. All the equipment is on one level which is very convenient . It is also less crowded at least during the times I go which is around lunch time.

Super tiny, but less busy than other locations, which is nice. Less machines and floor space, but I think this drives people away and makes for a better experience when coming here.

This facility is absolutely HUMONGOUS and very clean!!! Their staff and employees are very friendly and professional!!! I also love the variety of exercise classes they have here!!! Not to mention they have those free visitor passes for members as well if you have a family member or even a good friend you may wanna try to talk into staying in shape and showing how great this place truly is!!! I also love the great variety of exercise equipment and activities they have here as well as providing child care while you work out, making it that much easier to come in and stay in shape!!! EVERYONE AND ANYONE who wants to come get into or stay in shape should DEFINITELY come check this place out!!!

Big, clean, food service,friendly staffs and great price. I have been their member for almost 2 decades.(WOW, time sure flies by FAST!!) I left my old gym(family fitness) due to lack of maintenance on the equipment. Unlike my old gym, LVAC still (after all these years) fix their equipment fast as possible. I am very satisfied with my gym. Get a tour of the place, come check it out.

Pretty good. They need two rows of hooks for each shower in the men’s shower. An upper hook for dry things and a lower hook for wet things. I’ve told the front desk people about this a million times but nothing ever changes.

They put a thousand obstacles in your way to cancel at the end and if you don't pay they call you every day and send messages. Gentlemen, I no longer live there, I want to cancel. But you want to continue getting paid. I do not recommend it. Careful. Careful. It hurts a nice place but this is horrible.

One of my favorite gyms in town and definitely my go-to. They have great equipment and even a crossfit area (I seldom use). If you're a bodybuilder, this is a terrific gym. Not too big, not small either, but has great equipment. They also have a juice bar with some great meal offerings!

It’s an okay gym BUT the music is sooooo loud. It’s not horrible music but definitely loud. I asked the front desk to turn it down so I could hear MY music and he told me to ask the guy in the room. I asked him and he told me it was corporate settings. And the treadmills all have issues. Sometimes it takes three to four tries on different ones just to start my run. In this case, you get what you pay for. Cheap and loud.

I would rate the gym 2.5 stars, Has all the amenities expected of a normal gym, I originally loved going to this gym … but recently it’s grown to have a tad bit of homeless folks just sitting at the juice counter sleeping on the chairs, even sleeping in the locker room floor and occupying multiple bathroom stalls to sleep in… and to be fair I understand homeless folks tend to shower in gyms to stay clean, that’s not the issue. The issue is when the gym starts becoming a shelter and there’s like more then 7 in the lockeroom…. Tending to lounge around and kinda make members like me and others feel uncomfortable just speaks volumes about the management. I’m going to unfortunately going to have to switch. It’s sad to see this on the west side of town.

The short lady workers were rude, and you need to provide towels to all and not just a select few The comfort room is dirty, dirty, with no tissue or soap. Locker room with homeless and used the toilet to shower , this is not a good gym to work out ..

Good customer service. Friendly staff. However the sauna was out of service for the two days. Must read the contract in details. Not very clear.

I exercise every day at your West Sahara area in the ladies' region. I need to thank your group for continually keeping the gear fully operational. Since the room is more modest than the other exercise region, us that each machine is working. A mainstream machine went out and the following day it was fixed! You all are wonderful!

I love this gym, specifically because It's an ideal location due to it's centrality of the city. However, I wish they would update their shoulder and arm machines. It's the same equipment from the 90's..

I don't go to this location often, but I really enjoy it when I do. It is surprisingly large inside from what you would expect from seeing it from the outside. Plenty of weights and machines, friendly desk, and there is a Body Heat Tanning attached to the building.

LVAC IS THE CLEANEST GYM! THEY ALSO HAVE PROTEIN SHAKES, PRE WORKOUT. HOMEMADE PROTEIN BITES. OLD SCHOOL IRON PLATES & EQUIPMENT.

The best I have been so far

I like LVAC in general but this one in particular feels a little dingey. The plates on machines can use relabeling. I'm often having to count up or down just to see what lbs i'm using on a machien because they're so rubbed off or dirty over it. Lots of padding seems to be cracked from use over time. the ATC room is usually packed and weights are all over the place. I wish some one would go around and enforce weights a little more to be put back or have some structure. Overall decent, but i'm glad i'm able to subscribe with the "gympass" from my work. Maybe later on if i keep up good habits and want to invest more i'll progress from this to a nicer gym with more community.

As the original LVAC it's not as renovated as the other locations but it doesn't get anywhere near as crowded as other locations. Great equipment, even Cbum worked out here.

The lvac franchise is definitely a great one that I’ve experienced,especially lvac west if you want to go to a gym and really get that hard grind feel this definitely the place.

This place believes in 35 and 2.5 lbs weight plates, all the equipment is on the same floor, and it's not busy like the ones in North Decatur and the other one near Summerlin. I love it!!

Nicer than I would've expected given the age and location. This place has rooms on rooms on rooms. Good fight lifting area - nice and open. Def a decent lvac in town.

I really like all of the LVAC locations (I've been to 5 so far). All a little different, but very much the same in a good way. I saw the running track at one location, and it reminded me of a club in SoCal from back in the 80's. Sure enough, after talking to a long time member of LVAC, the original owners used to run the Holiday health spas (or so I was told). The gyms and locker rooms are clean and although busy, much quieter than the competition I was considering. No brainer. For a monthly plan for a gym, I joined the Las Vegas Athletic Clubs.

This LVAC location is the ONLY location I will go to!!! People go there to workout, pretty quiet and don't have to fight will selfy people and squatters, and not the squating intented at the gym lol

Great staff, smoothies and food are delicious! Smaller gym but I like that. Usually the same consistent, hard working, friendly members.

Absolutely horrible customer service! Charged me a hidden fee then when I tried to explain that its unfair and unjust they didnt care, suspended my account, and threatened to send my account to collections if its not paid. Dont trust them and wouldnt recommend them to anyone. STAY AWAY.

I love coming here, great place to workout and the staff are friendly. It's always clean no matter what time of day or night.
