😠 I have been wanting to work on myself. So I thought I would go get a tour of this gym. The guy that helped me was "Dave." He asked for my ID to register me as a guest. He didn't hand back my ID. I felt as if it was being held hostage. I went on the tour. Everything seemed great. Just what I was look... I have been wanting to work on myself. So I thought I would go get a tour of this gym. The guy that helped me was "Dave." He asked for my ID to register me as a guest. He didn't hand back my ID. I felt as if it was being held hostage. I went on the tour. Everything seemed great. Just what I was looking for in a gym. Halfway through the tour he took a call on his cell. Then a lady approached she said "someone had stolen her purse." He told her to "run down the stairs to tell the front desk." At this point I felt a lack of urgency to recover her purse. I mean where is his radio? Anyways, at the end of the tour I was taking into a small office. He asked information about me, but wrote it down wrong on the form. For example, how many years did I live in Las Vegas. He didn't correct it. When I told him I had to think about it, and asked for my ID the vibe changed. He threw my paperwork in the trash. I said, "aren't you going to give me information to take?" He said, "no, we do not do that! You can take a picture." Then he pulled out my paperwork from the trash so I could take a picture. This is when you know they work off of commission. Customer service goes down the drain. Even though this place looked nice, besides the lady getting her purse stolen. Customer service is one thing I put at the top of my list. So I would not recommend this place.

On the evening of October 27, 2023, between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., I had an unpleasant experience at the Las Vegas Athletic Clubs - Northwest located at 1725 N Rainbow Blvd. I arrived at the gym and proceeded to the front desk to check-in. As I approached the desk, I noticed two female front desk employees who were not wearing their name tags and appeared to be of Hispanic descent. Both employees were playing with their smartphones and did not acknowledge the gym members that were coming in. Their behavior was unprofessional and unwelcoming. As I reached the front desk, Mr. Tarim, one of the managers on duty, scanned my card without offering a proper greeting. He was preoccupied with a conversation with one of the female employees who was also using her phone. I politely requested a towel from the other female employee, who ignored my request and went inside the manager's office instead. Mr. Tarim then handed me the towel with a stern and frowning face, which made me feel intimidated and uncomfortable. Feeling frustrated by the lack of professionalism demonstrated by the staff, I approached Mr. Tarim to express my concerns about the situation. However, Mr. Tarim cut me off several times and responded rudely and insincerely with "I agree with you." I pointed out that as employees, they should engage with gym members and greet them in a friendly manner. I suggested that as a manager, he should lead by example and be more welcoming and respectful to the gym members. Overall, my experience at the gym on October 27, 2023, was not a positive one. The lack of professionalism and respect demonstrated by the employees, especially Mr. Tarim, was disappointing and left me feeling undervalued as a gym member. I hope that the management takes appropriate steps to rectify the situation and ensure that gym members receive the quality of service they deserve. I believe that a friendly and welcoming atmosphere is important in a gym, and the staff should strive to make each member feel valued and appreciated. Previous Review As a Premier gym member, I have noticed that requesting towels can sometimes be difficult due to some team members who may struggle to provide them. It would be great if this could be a standard amenity for Premier gym members at this location. Despite having a valid and fully paid membership, I have noticed some hesitation when asking for towels due to the reluctance of the employees to provide them. I have also observed that employees do not wear name tags, which is surprising as it would be a great way to identify them. It would be great to see employees wearing name tags at all times. Additionally, managers should set a good example for their staff by wearing name tags and greeting members when working at the front desk. While it is important to have managers walking around, it would be great if they could also ensure that paper towels and sanitizer spray are available for members. I have noticed that some cardio machines are wobbling, which could be hazardous and lead to potential injuries. It would be great if managers could inspect these machines regularly to ensure that they are safe to use. Overall, I believe that all Premier gym members should be offered towels automatically, and I hope to see all employees wearing name tags and providing a positive and safe gym experience for all members.

Extremely poor customer service! I recently relocated from another state and decided to explore the Flamingo location of your gym. During my visit, I had a pleasant walkthrough with a friendly staff member. However, my husband and I were interested in seeing the Rainbow location as well. Our intention was to evaluate the layout, ambiance, and crowd levels, as different gyms can vary in these aspects. When I spoke with Ramsay, his attitude was immediately dismissive and impolite. He bluntly stated that I couldn't visit multiple gyms and didn't seem interested in understanding my reason for wanting to view the Rainbow location. Despite my explanation, he responded with rude remarks and insisted that there was no difference between the two locations, aside from Rainbow being slightly larger by about 1,000 square feet. He also emphasized the number of years they had been in business but failed to acknowledge my request for a one-day pass to experience the gym firsthand. I informed “Ramsay” that we hadn't received a one-day pass at the Flamingo location, but they were willing to provide one. However, he simply replied with a firm "no," stating “you can’t just hop around gym” claiming that everything was the same and there was no need to check out Rainbow. Eventually, he reluctantly offered a tour, of course I didn’t not want to proceed with a tour with the interaction and tension between a potential new member, after acknowledging my frustration but failing to address his own unprofessional behavior. As a business owner myself, I find it unacceptable to treat potential customers in such a disrespectful manner. This location has lost our business. I wish I read the reviews sooner. LVAC should work on training their employees how to treat their members and new potential members. I’m so disappointed with this interaction I just had to experience.

2 stars only becuase the gym was good, bad part of it was when we ordered a smoothie. The girl who made it dropped some of it out and literally put it back into the cup and tried serving it to me. Good thing I watched her do it. I then asked her to make me another one and she literally got upset and had an attitude, almost as if I was the bad one for asking her to do so? I hope management sees this and watches the camera so they can see exactly what I'm talking about. I was in there on April 16 2022 and ordered my smoothie a little before 2pm. This girl not only demonstrated terrible customer service but I'm sure there's some health and safety violations that will need to be addressed as well. Quick other note for management: Usually when you order a smoothie, they pour it into a cup and whatever is left over is then poured into a smaller cup and served to you. When they re-made my smoothie they purposely didn't give me that smaller cup with the little extra in it. This shows how petty and immature the people working in the smoothie section are. If you don't like working around customers and don't know how to handle a legit customer concern, maybe you shouldn't be working there. Those girls need better training.

Called to find out pricing. No names-not throwing anyone under a bus as I have no doubt this is their training, but clearly are ONLY interested in making a sale/commission. It was like pulling teeth to get pricing info, attitude was strong/negative to say the least. Not going to make this more lengthy-going with a different club that believes in full up front disclosure. This place makes me feel like I’m dealing with a car dealership/sale! Yuck!

So LVAC is officially scamming their members/past members! I cancelled my membership over a year ago, and just now received a charge for my membership, again, over a year later. Called customer service asking for assistance and a refund for the mistake. Was told they never cancelled my account like I was told over a year prior. When asked if I can receive a refund for what I was just charged I was refused and told there’s nothing they can do. This is by far the worst most appalling customer service I’ve received. And slowly finding out I’m not the only one experiencing this. The news is definitely aware of this as well.

Please give David O some new training in customer service. I gave David O $438.00 cash for a three year membership for my son. All was OK until David O told me to my face that I was being uncooperative because I wouldn't provide my email address. David had to return the cash and lost his 3% commission. FYI, I am a long-term current member. Take notice to the reviews after this review. Only the 5 star reviews are acknowleded by management. Most of the non 5 star reviews are ignored. This shows anyone that the management staff only cares about the 5 star reviews and everyone else is ignored.

I really it like it here. The layout is good and there is a plethora of cardio machines and a more than ample assortment of free weights and resistance machines. I"ve never been there when it's been too crowded either. Definitely recommend them.

To be clear, the gym is great, lots of machines of different types and plenty of room, but I tried my free day with my girlfriend which went fantastic and after about an hour we were on our way out, I had to go and ask for my ID and an employee came out to give it to me, he asked how I liked the gym and I said it was great. He starts talking about the membership and how great the gym is followed by asking me if I wanted to sign up for a membership, I explain to him how I would rather wait for now expecting him to understand and let us move on, instead he starts asking me why and says how he doesn't understand how I don't want to sign up now almost shaming me, the tone of his voice combined with the look on his face just made me feel shame followed by anger. So if you wanna give the gym a try go for it but be ready for a car salesman to come out and pitch the most undeniable best gym in this entire galaxy.

Something went wrong and the music turned off in the middle of my workout - what a great change. Keep it off, I assure you no one here wants to hear taylor swift and all the other garbage top 40 pop music. This isn't a middle school. At the very least turn it down, I have noise canceling headphones and I have to blast music to not hear it. Pretty good gym otherwise.

Far as Gym goes I dont have much problem with it. Cleanness and equipment's can be managed little better. Perhaps some equipment's are too old. They need to be replaced completely. However my main problem is their customer service and billing department. I had credit card theft. When I got the new card I went to both gym to update my card. Neither of the gym had that department at the gym. Instead they gave me card to call the number. Which is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. The Problem with that is that's the working hour number for most business'. As result I wasn't able to update card on time. When I explain the reasoning. No matter what they wouldnt budge from Late fee. And I accepted it. Then I asked them, If I can give feedback about their billing and customer service. Rather than listening. They were quick to give their reasoning. It felt as if they didnt care what I have to say. expressing my mind here is only place. I am left with. I recommend everyone not to be under contract with them. If anything get shorter or small membership. It's very difficult to get out of contract. After my membership is complete with them. I am never signing with them again. I will using review for two their locations Rainbow and Flamingo Rd.

The manager Albert is extremely rude and condescending. One of his employees picked my phone up while I was next to it and wouldn’t bring it to me because he thought it was stolen. Albert proceeds to tell me I should be grateful that he picked my phone up instead of another customer. Mind you I was changing my clothes after my shower and didn’t want my phone to get wet and it was next to me. He didn’t offer an apology for his employee taking my phone, but the other Manager Tamir was extremely polite and offered a sincere apology. Stay away from Albert, I think he might have a problem with black men or something because he was so rude and dismissive to me as a customer of this club for the last 8 years

All these gyms are poorly run and especially management is very unfriendly and unprofessional. Equipment hasn’t been updated and is rundown. Their are many excellent alternatives. If Your considering joining got to EOS or Lifetime! Much better gyms. You’ll regret signing a 24 month contract with LVAC!

I've been going to the Las Vegas Athletic Club for a very long time. About 25 years. The quality and the cleanliness of the club on Rainbow has gone downhill dramatically. The locker room is constantly filthy as well as the restroom area. Today in the upstairs bathroom there's three stalls in the toilet area. The handicap stall had dried feces running down the side of the toilet, the middle stall had no toilet paper and finally the stall next to the urinals was actually usable. In the restroom area the paper towel dispensers are constantly empty as well as many of the soap dispensers . There are four sinks and the other day I had to try three soap dispensers to actually get some soap to clean my hands after using the restroom. They don't give plastic bags anymore for your wet clothes with no explanation as to why. A bizarre thing about the shower area is that there's always shower heads broken off of the stem coming out of the wall and the shower heads are laying on the floor constantly I don't understand it. You try to talk to the manager and complain about something and he stands there and rolls his eyes while you're talking to him. Acting as though he could care less about your concerns. The place is turning into a joke. I'm seriously considering going to a different gym because I'm tired of this place being filthy. And if you try to voice your concerns it just falls on deaf ears.

Very clean gym. Way too packed. Had a two year contract. Let me tell you, there is no way of getting out of it, so just know you are committing in a 2 year contract to a very packed gym. If you're just going for cardio, the place is great. Everything else, good luck finding a spot.

Been coming here for a year and half, glad my contract is almost over! Management are worthless. They all sweet and nice when you try to sing up but when you have an inconvenience ; like someone braking in to your locker THEY DONT KNOW NOTHING nor can get you footage without police report nor they care! Also it would be nice if they invest in some yoga matts for the ladies room!!

LVAC itself is a wonderful gym. 2 large floors, loaded with equipment, clean bathrooms, large locker rooms. Physically it’s great. Though their customer service is terrible. Front desk is ALWAYS rude. There’s one gentleman that does actually greet me and the rest of the people attending (average height, white male, dark brown hair). However most will stare at you like you’re an idiot! Girl with dark brown hair, droopy eyes and another average height, and a tan curly haired boy were at the front desk (7PM ish). Majority of the time, there’s 2 people scanning IDs. So seeing that there was a line forming with the boy, I went to the girl. I said “Hello” and held up my badge, looking at her face to face. She just couldnt be bothered to look at me or say a word. So I stood there for a few seconds while she was looking around like I wasn’t there. Maybe you shouldn’t be working front desk if you can’t have a simple greeting ? That was just one of the many, many incidents. They’re generally rude, can’t be bothered to greet you or say hello. Anyways, while there’s a large amount of equipment, there is so much dust inside. The machines can also be wobbly (?). Good gym itself, customer service is terrible as well as the cleanliness of gym equipment.

How ridiculous- during a pandemic and not more than maybe 2 TWO people have the courtesy to wear a mask. Everybody is breathing all their hot and germy breath all OVER the place. GROSS!!!! I did ask about the MASK MANDATE - they do not enforce like EVERY OTHER GYM. Also when was the last time Anybody used headphones that PLUG in?? What a joke. All their tv screens - uh hello NONE have closed captions, what if I am hearing impaired? You can't listen to or know what is on the HUGE television. How dumb is this place???

My review will be on "Madison," one of the managers here at this LVAC location. First and foremost, her demeanor is extremely cold and unfriendly. I had asked her questions regarding personal training at the athletic club and I had asked a question about the cancellation of the LVAC membership in the near future just for my records; her response was not only false, but a complete lie, she said, "Well in order to cancel a membership with us, you would have to either move out of state or pay the full two years of the remainder of the membership." This is completely false, when you read the fine print it says, "you can cancel your membership if you move within 20 miles away from one of the LVAC clubs." Madison, I suggest you read the information carefully on the athletic club membership forms, it seems to me that you had an attitude that was extremely hostile and from this encounter, I believe you are unfit for your position in being a manager here because you cannot obtain nor convey the correct information. That's all.

Just had a appointment with LVAC. They advertise $15/month, no enrollment, however, they do charge Enrollment fee and 26 month contract. This is their price structure: $15/month Basic, $25 with court access, $35 with all acess+ towels -$45 enrollment 26month contract If not contract, then they charge $159 enrollment fee. If you question them, they will say " Perhaps LVAC is not for you". Gym overall is good, but seriously very busy and crowded.

If you join as a member, be sure you understand the contract first. It's definitely a buyer beware situation. Things I was not told when I signed up: 1) You're on the hook for the full contract value, so don't think you can quit before your contract is up. Even if you're injured or disabled, you have to have a doctor's letter and submit everything in writing. I recommend reading the Better Business Bureau listing for LVAC before you sign up. 2) If you auto-pay for your membership fees each month, your membership will *automatically renew* (on a month-to-month basis). 3) You CANNOT disable the auto-renew until after the final payment of your contract.

Dear LVAC, If you're wondering why this customer of too many years finally pulled the plug (you likely don't), here it is: in these times it's VERY hard monetarily. I only wanted to go back to my old membership because since Covid it's too difficult to use the play center for my children. To downgrade back, you wanted to charge me a "downgrade fee". You want to charge me for not being able to afford the higher membership? Have some empathy, everything is expensive out here. Really disappointed it ended this way.

One great thing I only like about this gym are the equipments. Staff are not very friendly, this lady who works at the front desk doesn't care who comes in. She gave me attitude one time, because she got interrupted from fixing her make up because she has to actually grabbed the scanner and scan my card. She's always on her phone, always rolling her eyes. Bad customer service, doesn't know what was on their contract, you literally have to fight them to remove the "decline fee" I told them, nothing in my contract says anything about a $25 decline fee, if your card get declined one time and mind you, they received my monthly payment. After my 2 year contract with this place, I am switching to a different gym.🏃‍♀️

My three year old daughter was at the playroom on 09/17/2022. She cut her foot which was bleeding and hit her head while going down the slide. She says a staff member picked her up and comforted her while she cried but no staff member mentioned it to me or filed an incident report which should have been done…. From what I could see every staff member was on their phone and not interacting or monitoring the children.

My issue is the playroom, they should not allow small children on the indoor play slide. My kid fell from second floor all the way down, because the other bigger kid pushed her. I know kids are kids, they play a lot but this will be prevented if caretakers follow the age restrictions to the play areas.

It's a chill gym IMO. It has everything I need. I tried 24 and EOS prior and definitely prefer LVAC. The once a month training included is perfect for learning and trying new things. Shout out to Katie Y, my trainer, who has helped me grow here over the past half year. And I just got my car washed while working out in the parking lot by Colima's detailing and they were great too!

😐 Lvac is a total scam, they make people sign 2 or 3 year contracts and charge late fees every day equaling more than the monthly membership price doubled or tripled.... they hang up on me whenever I ask their customer service team why I keep getting charged and the app and website have no options to do anything besides make payments, you can't even see payment history or balances owed. I have no idea how this company has multiple locations in Vegas. SCAM

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and outrage with the conduct and behavior of the LVAC 215 & Flamingo manager, Paul, as well as a specific personal trainer who consistently wears a pink Yankees hat. My experiences with both individuals have been nothing short of deplorable, and it is crucial for you to be aware of these distressing matters. First and foremost, Paul the LVAC gym manager, has repeatedly shown a complete lack of professionalism and integrity. It is disheartening to report that Paul has been involved in teaming up with the personal trainer wearing the pink Yankees hat to mistreat and disrespect gym members, myself included. Their behavior has been nothing short of abhorrent and has created an atmosphere of hostility and discrimination within the gym. I have personally been subjected to derogatory remarks and belittlement from the personal trainer in question. This individual, whose primary responsibility should be to provide guidance and support, has instead chosen to mock and disrespect me. Furthermore, Paul's collusion with this personal trainer has led to the distortion and fabrication of stories against gym members. I have witnessed an instance where they have deliberately lied and twisted facts to protect their interests, at the expense of innocent members. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also deeply damaging to the trust and camaraderie that should exist within a gym community. I must emphasize that I have been a loyal member of LVAC for a significant period, and it is disheartening to be treated with such disrespect and contempt. The lack of professionalism, integrity, and fairness exhibited by both Paul and the personal trainer has left me with no choice but to terminate my membership with immediate effect. It is my sincere recommendation to anyone considering a gym membership to avoid this LVAC establishment at all costs. The appalling conduct of the staff, particularly the manager and the personal trainer mentioned, has created an environment that is not only unwelcoming but also detrimental to the pursuit of personal fitness goals. I hope you take this complaint seriously and investigate the matter thoroughly. It is imperative that the LVAC management team addresses these issues promptly and takes appropriate actions to rectify the situation. A gym should be a place of support, encouragement, and inclusivity, and the current state of affairs at this gym is a complete departure from those ideals. I genuinely hope no other gym member has to endure such a distressing experience.

Thank you, Aja for helping me out and taking care of me. You’re awesome! I chose this place out of all other gyms for the indoor track. I want to improve my skills in boxing and cardio/running is at the top. I had my own treadmill and I recently sold it because I believe it was holding me back and causing me pain in my feet and other areas. The indoor track here is very easy on my body. My 2nd time using it and I successfully beat my 3-mile run by almost 2 whole minutes. I also like that they have medicine balls that I can slam and throw up against a wall. I haven’t tried out the pools, saunas or anything yet mostly because I have been going late nights and I don’t think those areas are open late at night. My only suggestion is that they should have heavy bags available 24/7 for people like me can work on our skills.

I have never seen a gym with lazier members in my life. They’re strong enough to lift over 200 lb but absolutely NO ONE puts away weights. And the employees certainly aren’t cleaning up after them. So half of your time is spent cleaning up after the last person.

Ive been coming to this LVAC for 10+ years... and i am saddened. Bathrooms are always filthy, ⅔ of the cardio machines electricals (the actual timers on the machines or even the personal tvs) dont work properly or dont work at all. Definitely needs a deep cleaning and face lift.

Moved out of state tried to cancel my membership, not only dos they continue to charge me but the even hit my credit with collections. There membership should canceled when you leave the state straight up theft disputed them on my credit and it was removed save your self the headaches go to another gym. Especially if your military and move for deployments.

I stick to my local one, in Henderson, the women's room in this one is too crowded with equipment, i mean ill go to this when I need to but its better the one in Henderson. I still have more things to check out in this one.

Racquetball courts are nice. The air temp was much warmer in the court than right outside. Need to adjust that! The banana cream pie protein shake is excellent even though they use stevia in the frozen yogurt. Not a big fan of stevia.

This is the one I incessant most as its in my space. All the gear you'll at any point need to shape the body you need. I was sold when I saw the pneumatic air machines which prove to be useful for strength preparing. They've added a powerlifting region which is wonderful. Love the pools, jacuzzi, wet and dry saunas also. This is a fresher area so the bathroom and shower regions are first class. Continuously a pleasant size swarm however I never need to look out for any one machine. Staff is amicable and the food is acceptable; exceptionally advantageous and sound decision for the space.

This is a very good gym. I love the women's area and the pool, spa, sauna and steam room area are also very good. Better than other clubs I've been to in LV. There is a lot of space to work out keeping social distance and I like that. The rush hours are from 7 to 11 am approximately and from 4:30 to 7 pm approximately. I would avoid those times if you don't want to be around a lot of people. My only issue is cleanness. Even in covid times when they have intensified the cleaning protocols, I can see areas covered in dust like they have not been touched in months. Like the card holder next to the paper towel dispenser in the women's, all covered in dust. The showers did not used to be very clean but I haven't visited them in some months so I don't have a current status on those. Overall and compared to other clubs in the valley I would say this is one of the best.

This gym has always been really cool, equipment is up to date, I never have to wait to get on certain machines. Friendly staff, clean facilities. This used to be my home gym but I moved across town. I come back once in a while to check up on her.

The two stars is not for the quality of the gym, it’s for the televisions many that do not work. I workout upstairs and the tvs 213-220 have not worked in almost two months. I’ve reported it many times but nothing gets done. You need to get your act together and get them fixed now.

Been coming to this gym for many years. This gym is enormous! There's cardio equipments upstairs and downstairs with TV too! I love how much space there is in this gym. There's sections for free weights, abs, and many more.

This is the first time I've ever signed up to a gym, and I don't regret it. The staff is very helpful and easy to talk to, and it being open 24hrs makes it so whatever your work schedule is, you can get your daily exercise.

There are lots of other gyms in Vegas that are low cost and have lots of locations. LVAC is terrible, save yourself the hassle.

This gym is probably one of the best gyms I been to. The staff is great and the environment is pretty good. The gym can get pretty packed at times but there is plenty of equipment so its not really an issue.

Not too impressed. Prices at register are different from prices marked by item on shelf. I will not return to that Albertson's. When I said something to the cashier she said "Tell me about it "!!!

Staff is decent. Bathrooms clean. The treadmills are gross most of the time. If you order from the juice bar they have nicer employees these days but the tables you sit and rest/eat at are usually not so clean.

I signed up at the location on Decatur and I started going to the Rainbow location as I did not like the layout of the Decatur location. The weighted machines were very close to each other and I didn't feel comfortable at the Decatur location. Every machine is very well spaced out at the Rainbow location and no matter how packed it is you can always find an alternative to whatever exercise you want to do. As far as management goes, I haven't had a problem. I haven't had any major issues at the gym myself. The front desk staff is always nice and never fails to greet their members. You pay $15 a month, if it's a little dusty who cares. There's a million machines and weights in there, you cannot possibly expect staff to clean every single machine and weight when it's a 24 hour gym. As far as equipment maintenance goes, A+! They seem to be very on top of getting broken equipment fixed. I'll walk in one day and a smith machine is down. I'll walk in the next day and it's fixed. Kudos for that!!

🫤 Compare to other gyms who are moving away from contracts , Lvac locks you into a 2 year that auto renew that you have to remember to close. They also don't follow though with their referral credits. I got two friends to sign up and when I follow up after not see my last few months credited, I was to...

😠 It is very sad and pathetic to have to leave a google review for this athletic Club. I had just previously moved to Nevada prior to the pandemic. Even through most of the shut down I was able to maintain financially, and after everything re-opened I signed a contract with LVAC. Truth though. the pan...

😠 Gym does have decent equipment, but that's about it. It is filled with immature and loud teenagers that are always on their phone, hog equipment, treat equipment poorly. There are too many people in the gym to find equipment. It's awful. The staff are nice but won't enforce rules. Will be lookin...
