I
recently
visited
the
Mandalay
Bay
spa
in
Las
Vegas
for
a
massage
appointment
that
my
fiancé
had
kindly
booked
for
me.
Unfortunately,
my
experience
was
somewhat
disappointing.
Upon
arrival,
despite
my
fiancé
placing
her
card
on
file
to
be
charged
for
the
massage,
the
spa
requested
that
I
provide
my
card
and
ID
for
the
payment.
This
unexpected
request
was
inconvenient
and
took
some
time
to
resolve,
which
was
frustrating.
Upon
arrival,
I
was
taken
to
a
couples
massage
room
that
was
uncomfortably
cold.
It
wasn't
until
30
minutes
into
the
massage
that
I
had
to
request
the
masseuse
to
heat
up
the
bed.
It
surprised
me
that
this
had
not
been
addressed
prior
to
the
start
of
the
massage,
and
it
definitely
affected
my
overall
comfort
and
enjoyment
of
the
experience.
What
struck
me
as
odd
was
that
no
one
followed
up
to
inquire
about
my
experience,
which
left
me
feeling
overlooked
and
undervalued
as
a
customer.
However,
I
must
note
that
the
spa
itself
was
beautiful,
and
the
sauna,
pool,
and
Jacuzzi
were
all
very
impressive.
Unfortunately,
the
massage
itself
was
only
average,
and
considering
the
price
of
$240,
I
have
to
say
that
I've
had
better
massages
for
less
elsewhere.
In
my
opinion,
the
experience
did
not
live
up
to
the
cost,
and
I
left
feeling
that
it
was
not
worth
the
investment.
