Viator
contracts
with
Grey
Lines
that
operates
the
tour
who
contracts
with
another
company
that
manages
transportation.
With
so
many
middlemen,
everyone
needs
a
cut.
Tour
was
booked
with
a
credit
card,
for
6
people,
so
totaling
about
$650,
but
the
transportation
company
collects
a
$10/person
fee,
it's
in
the
fine
print
so
Viator
covers
their
a$$,
not
yours.
The
driver
asked
us
for
cash
but
we
didn't
have
exact
$60,
so
he
asked
us
to
ask
other
passengers
for
change,
feels
like
a
shakedown.
The
transportation
company
doesn't
even
have
a
Square
chip
reader
to
process
CC,
and
we
had
to
manually
give
all
the
CC#,
Exp,
CVV,
Zip
Code
to
some
random
guy
at
some
random
company
over
the
phone.
Then
charged
an
additional
$8
fee
to
use
the
CC.
Within
the
hour,
on
our
way
to
the
Grand
Canyon,
that
same
CC
was
used
online
for
$3,500
at
Best
Buy
&
Amazon,
orders
shipping
to
an
address
in
Las
Vegas.
So
spending
this
lovely
tour
figuring
that
out.
Save
yourself
the
shakedowns,
on
bus
hostage
fees,
and
potential
fraud
transactions
via
random
contractors
and
book
with
a
smaller
company
that
doesn't
contract
out
to
another
contractors.
You'll
probably
end
up
paying
the
same
after
hidden
fees
and
you'll
get
a
smaller
vehicle,
faster,
on
schedule
trip,
more
luxury
and
space,
and
just
a
much
better
experience.
