McCarran International Airport is named after former U.S. Senator Harry Reid, who represented Nevada in the Senate from 1987 to 2017. The airport is well laid out, well maintained, and is easily navigated by customers. There are great features in each concourse. There are plenty of seats available to wait for your flight and bathrooms are always well maintained. And, there are machines available for a little last minute gambling. I've attached several pictures for your review. If you find my review helpful please give me a thumbs-up ๐Ÿ‘ Thank you!

A beautiful, busy, clean, and well organized airport in Las Vegas! There are a lot of shopping stores, duty free store, restaurants, and Starbucks, which makes your departure and arrival experience even more convenient. Was very impressed that there are many clean restrooms there! Not many airports have this kind of services. Great! There are 3 terminals connected with the Trams! Very easy access and navigate to where you need to be. The information desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! I have attached some pictures here and hope you will like them.

Bring an empty water bottle. So, a few things: If you get thirsty, this is apparently a dessert where they can charge $7+ for a bottle of water. It'd behoove you to bring your own empty bottle. Though, the water fountains are kinda nasty, you might just consider dying of dehydration ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ. Water's more expensive than soda ๐Ÿ˜ณ. Inconspicuously located bathrooms with signs pointing to the direction but no over head signs. Lots of slot machines, great scenery (outside the windows), lively with bright compelling colors and a variety of carnivore food options. Nice view of the strip.

You know your in Las Vegas as soon as you come off the plane!!!!!! Didnโ€™t see a Raiders shirt there but I have a feeling I will comb this entire town till I find the perfect one. Anyways itโ€™s well lit up so you do feel safe walking around alone here but be mindful and be careful. Itโ€™s sparkly to!!!!! Itโ€™s kinda big so have an idea of what you want to accomplish when you step off the plane. From landing to getting in the taxi it took me 21 minutes so I was pleasantly pleased with that. Well organized. They have a cupcake vending machine as well... Just sayin๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ›๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿ’•

Terrible customer service. Did not know where to go for passenger pick up. Taxi concierge was verbally abusive towards traveler who simply needed to get picked up. Would not fly to Las Vegas airport again because of this terrible welcome from staff. Taxi concierge was extremely unprofessional and mean; he was banging travelerโ€™s car windows, yelling, and threatening to charge traveler with an expensive ticket. This brainless concierge cannot empathize and think that maybe it is the first time this individual has been to Harrry Reid International. Traveler is shocked that this white male has a job working with people if he can loose his cool in such an awful manner. He should be embarrassed and ashamed of himself for his behavior and conduct. Terminal 3 taxi concierge: find another job already if you hate it so much. Concierge did not ruin this trip but be warned travelers: Terminal 3 is TERRIBLE !

Considering this city is all about hospitality you would think the airport would be glam. It is just ok. Often times you will find long lines, but I admit that they typically move quickly. The dining options are surprisingly not so inspiring. But there are a lot of slot machines in the airport almost guaranteeing Vegas will take your last penny.

There are 2 terminals at the Harry Reid IA.ย  If you're lucky you're flying in or out of Terminal 3.ย  Terminal 1 is in desperate need of renovations.ย  I didn't mind the now retro decor but it was close to impossible to find a charging station.ย  I flew in Terminal 3 but had to go to Terminal 1 to wait for my friend who had a later flight.ย  My phone and tablet were nearly dead from the flight (no charging on this particular plane).ย  I finally found some seats with charging plugs and my power started going down instead of up!ย  Terminal 3 is more visually appealing and they have a variety of charging stations.ย  I also enjoyed the art.ย  See pic of metal art race car.ย  I'm particularly fond of metal art.ย  I was amused to find casino machines right in the airport.ย  Final note, there's a nice sitting area behind Aunt Annie's that seems to be a bit hidden away.ย  I was early for my return flight so I enjoyed my breakfast here and sat awhile before heading to a charging station.ย  You can see charging stations are very important to me and I consider myself low tech so I can imagine how important they are to others.ย  Overall it was a good experience but I preferred the Denver airport.

So on one of our last flights we had to change planes in Las Vegas, and boy am I glad we did not waste time. We had to walk to the other terminal which felt like it was on the other side of the airport. It was a pretty long stretch however there were plenty of stores and slot machines every step of the way. When we finally got to our gate luckily there were two choices for restaurants and the Mexican restaurant turned out to be pretty good. So glad they keep all the smoking in this one slot machine room, you could smell it from 50 feet away.

I feel like this airport keeps on improving every time I return. Nice and spacious. Of course it's in Vegas so it has to have obligatory gambling at the airport ๐Ÿ˜Š . you'll find lots of slot machines as you exit the gate and then all throughout the airport as well. Really nice mix of restaurants here as well to appease almost any taste.

Big airport with a lot of connection. I visited a few times while visiting Las Vegas, and as a layover too. They have more than terminals and the inter terminal connection is through train. The trains have different lines and a bit confusing. I was about to lose my connecting flights in this process of changing the terminals. Otherwise, the airport is nice, with many eating options, and clean washrooms. You can gamble too, even in the airport here. They have many a lot machines in the airport. The airport is right beside the Las Vegas Blvd, aka strip, and surrounded by NV desert mountains. The view is incredible from the airport terminal.

The Las Vegas Airport has diverse population (travelers) even though i was only at the Domestic Terminal 1 side. I find it easy to navigate between gate corridors but lack of moving pathways is evident. Restrooms are also clean and conveniently placed but food can be a little pricey. Also there are plenty of slot machines with colorful neon signs that can attract and influence kids and the younger generation. I suggest these gambling machines be placed inside a secluded room and not where families are waiting for their next flight. For that reason, i dont recommend this airport if you are traveling with kids under 18yrs of age.

Unbelievably crowded, such that you'll never snag a snack on the long lines at restaurants, so vending machines are your best bet. Clean bathrooms and nice historical display about Howard Hughes. Slots are loose, so after dropping $100 you may win a nickel.

We flew into Vegas on Frontier airlines without any issues. It was very hot at 114 F. The airport seems small but have a lot of amenities. They have free WiFi. I had no problems finding a place to work while waiting on my flight to leave. Getting through TSA was relatively easy. It was crowded but we made it through in about 15/20 minutes. They have plenty of restaurants options as well as shopping, and Casino gaming options within the airport. The airport is very clean.

This air port is very crowded and the Southwest terminals are a very, very long walk apart with no assistance like a moving walkway etc. Be aware of your gate, you may need to run. Lots of construction going on there as well. Lots of good food choices on the airport.

I love this airport! I always get excited arriving here, since this is just half the excitement before going to Vegas ๐ŸŽ‰ The airport itself isn't too big or overwhelming and it's pretty easy to find your gate. People are helpful and there are fun shops. And of course gambling machines which just adds to the entertainment value ๐Ÿ˜‚

Airport can be hit or miss. I have seen this place very busy at times with staff that doesnโ€™t care about your time and have whipped through security without Issues. Decent food options and a little bit of hikes if you need to get in different terminals. Overall itโ€™s decent!!

Harry Reid International Airport was nice. There were a lot of places to eat in the airport. Which is always a good thing because after a 4hr flight from the coast. Those snacks on the flight will hold you over over for a little while. Airport was clean, bathrooms were clean and functional for the most part. Vegas is hot, so Iโ€™d recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, even a portable battery fan if you have one laying around.

Decent airport with slots machines to entertain you. There isnโ€™t the best selection of food choices especially in for Terminal 1 D gates. The pandemic is still affecting hours of operations for some of the restaurants, so places arenโ€™t opened or have reduced hours. The gate seating layout isnโ€™t the most efficient and there could be some more updating with adding electric outlets at the seats. Better signage would be good for navigating around the airport especially with getting to the gates and transportation.

Airports, in general, can be scary, especially if itโ€™s an airport you have never been to in a state youโ€™re not too familiar with. When I arrived at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, I was a bit nervous because I had never been there before. I had that panic feeling, worrying about where everything was, worrying about how I would get to where I needed to go, etc. Thankfully, I found baggage claim and located the timeshare pick-up area. There were many clear visible signs that pointed you in the right direction. When departing from Harry Reid International Airport, it was very easy to locate the terminal, check in bags, locate security and locate the gate. I have to say; the TSA team was very nice and very helpful thought the screening process. One of the nicest I have encountered. If you need one last go at the slot machine, don't worry, they have plenty throughout the airport!

Wow, you still have to take off your shoes and go through this weird thingy raising your arms as you pass security. As if their floors are the cleanest. The trays are falling apart and so dirty. The security officer is lacking in manners and so uncouth. I put my shoes aside and guess what, she deliberately placed them on my jacket. What a meanie. On the positive side, the airport is easy to navigate and the ground staff are ok. If you need entertainment, there are plenty of slot machines to keep you occupied and poor. Several places are available to grab a cup of coffee, donuts, and even burgers.

This has to be one of the saddest airports I've ever seen! You would a city that receives millions of visitors a year would provide a state of art modern facilities! The facilities are outdated..poorly layout and not maintained in adequate conditions. Narrow hallways..low ceilings..poor lighting and dont get started on the lack of cleanliness! City of Las Vegas needs to it together!

A fine international airport for the famous Las Vegas with their signature having slot machines around the place. The signs are clear on directing the passengers to places as needed. Ensure you have checked which terminal you will be departing from since different airlines goes to different location and each of them are not walkable distance, you will end up taking a shuttle from one place to another if you are at the wrong terminal

A large airport with lots of active construction. Fairly decent corridors, however signage occasionally is less than clear, especially given the above. Speakers in the gates are clear, making it easy to hear announcements, and plenty of seating for most flights. If youโ€™re looking for gambling while here, it looks like itโ€™s only poker and slots, at least in Gates A-D. If youโ€™re looking for the centurion lounge, go through the security on Gate D! Youโ€™ll take a tram to gate D, then itโ€™ll be on the second floor by D4. Youโ€™ll have to take the tram back to get to Gate C, approximately 15 minutes, and an added walk to Gate B of 5 minutes, and Gate A of 5 minutes.

Nice layout with the whole airport connected via train. Getting to the level where the Lyft and ride share is was met with some annoyed staff yelling at folks who were trying to get to their drivers. Overall beautiful airport and well layed out

There is two versions of this airport. Iโ€™m going to split my review into them as INTERNAL & EXTERNAL. INTERNAL This airport is fabulous as youโ€™d imagine for such a high velocity airport. The amount of space, the shops, the food choices as well as the amenities are world class. EXTERNAL This airport is tremendous from the inside but the ride sharing component of travel OUTSIDE of the Airport is absolutely disastrous. The wait times are substantial & it is incredibly hot (no AC or anything). We waited 50 mins even though our Uber said 3 mins the entire time. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME & GET A TAXI

Quite decent airport, quite spacious and despite high volumes of passengers itโ€™s doesnโ€™t give claustrophobic feeling like at other airports. Checkin and security screening is quite efficient especially if you are lucky and get the chance to go through brand new security screening at basement level. It took no time at all. Depending which airline you travel you may have to take a short train ride to correct terminal and gates. Trains comes often which is appreciated. Once you reach your gates area there are usual shops and cafes and of course since we are in Vegas slot machines everywhere l. I found it funny and amazing, but there are plenty of people using them, guess gambling is really addictive. Prices in cafes and shops are Vegas level, so be prepared to pay overpriced drinks and food. Gates and boarding area are quite small and perhaps not enough to handle passengers as at other airports.

Easy to get around, everything is labeled well. TSA gets a bit busy, but it is an airport with a lot of traffic. The shuttle to get a rental car was great. There was very little waiting and everyone was very polite.

Harry Reid International Airport is the airport of Las Vegas, it has been recently renamed after the Nevada Senator. Terminal 3 was where I flew into and out of Las Vegas, I am pleased to say my dislike of USA airport doesnโ€™t apply to this airport, itโ€™s treats itโ€™s visitors much much better. The airport is modern in its features it has many shops and eateries of different varieties, it acknowledges mums with babies which is a nice touch, passport control both flying or flying out is not a time consuming process like some other airport I care to mention, this airport gets a 4 star rating from me.

Flew In and out of here 2 months ago, and this is a good airport for its popular destination. The airport is made up of An A,B,C,D, and E Concourse. All concourses contain shops and gates for the airlines that fly out. The airport is very spacious and clean, for the high demand of passenger flying in. TSA is quite stressful, though, in the spirit and allegiant Concourse, the TSA looked like a prison. Overall, though, I'd recommend this airport if you're looking to go in or out of vegas.

Very pleasant, comfortable and clean. Easily accessible by bus route 108 (the fastest route) Do Not try to get the Douce when going to the airport, it is constantly extremely delayed and overcrowded - you might miss your flight. The airport has slots inside the terminals, just in front of the gates so you could keep betting all the way until last calls ๐Ÿ˜ The staff members are very helpful, caring and polite.

This is more of a review for Southwest airlines than the airport. The airport was super packed due to being a holiday weekend. Southwest will give you an extra seat for no extra charge if you are a large person and need the extra room. The plane was on time and had good service. I will use them again.

PROS: Lots of food options, creative art exhibits, very close to the Strip. TSA is friendlier than in most airports of equivalent size. CONS: A crowded airport, interiors are dark, ride-share boarding is too complicated.

This is the most different airport Iโ€™ve ever been. As soon as you get out of the gate you know for sure youโ€™re in Las Vegas. There are neon lights and casino slot machines on most of the hallways. You can even see Luxor and MGM The Sphere from the airplane windows. Also, the airport is very close to the Las Vegas strip. Our Uber ride was around $15. Didnโ€™t see many people in the morning at the airport. My only complaint was one of the TSA agents was rude, but apart from that, everything was ok.

Everything you expect in a Las Vegas airport. Itโ€™s fascinating that buildings in this city CAN do amazing things and could have a great airport instead of a great disappointment. Too many people for the number of seats unless you choose to sit at a slot machine which seem to have plenty of seats. Redeeming quality? There are lots of working plugs on the back of seats. We were in C terminal and fortunately only had an hour.

Big airport with large terminals, easy to recognize as Las Vegas... but lounge smoking places leave a bad smoke smell as you walk by. I guess you have to be a smoker to play... Otherwise, well lit, and fairly clean, quiet compared to other noisy airports, very busy, with thousands roaming around or waiting on benches.

  • 5/5 Chris F. 2 years ago on Google
This airport looks like one of the more popular Vegas attractions! I've never seen such a lively baggage claim! Heads up if you're looking for a rideshare...so is everyone else. Bonus points for the tram though, very efficient!

  • 4/5 Murali 3 months ago on Google New
Overall a great airport. There are lots of slot machines to play. Easy to navigate the airport by the frequent trams. There are lots of shops such as the California pizza kitchen, Starbucks etc... it seems like a busy airport. Clean and well maintained place. Not busy during the night. There could be more sofas to lie down. There are lots of spaces to sit.

  • 5/5 Ervin E. 6 months ago on Google
The flights were punctual, and everyone contributed to a great experience. Navigating the airport was straightforward. I was able to eat there and conveniently walk from the airport to my hotel.

  • 5/5 Shawn i. 8 months ago on Google
Remodeling happening but still easy to navigate. If your first time to Vegas, get on tram to get to baggage claim, then downstairs. Nothing like seeing slot machines as soon as you deplane. Cross street to get on car rental shuttle. Off site building.

  • 5/5 Mr. Greg P. 7 months ago on Google
Great airport. Vegas itself, not so much. Easy to get around, several good eating options. Also, easy to get off plane and get a cab. They have tons of cabs lined up waiting for you to jump in. Smoking and Vaping room on the inside of security, if that matters to you.

When I arrived 12 hours late thanks to Southwest cancelling and then delaying replacement flights, I walked into the filthiest place I have ever walked in. The men's room had more urine on the floor than the back alley behind a strip club, and smelled even worse. The pickup area for Uber and Lyft is a friggin joke.. and a bad joke at that. Plan on taking a taxi, it will save you an hour wait. Glad I came for business and not pleasure.. still my first impression of Vegas is... Hard pass!!

  • 4/5 Tam C. 9 months ago on Google
Flew into the airport via Southwest expecting delays with the construction on the runways. My itinerary warned it could be an issue, so we took an early morning flight departure and arrival roundtrip. No delays whatsoever. The charging stations were superfast for our devices. We were a little confused on where to go for Uber pickup, but we asked a worker and they pointed us to the signs-- it was in a different building same terminal. 24 hour airport.

  • 4/5 Jonathan L. 1 year ago on Google
This airport is fairly easy to navigate. We took Public Transit to leave the airport. The confusing part is that level zero is at the very bottom. I saw cars driving on the level we were on and assumed it was level zero. Nope. There is another level below the level with baggage claim. That is level zero. Security was pretty quick when we were here. Friendly as well. It took them a few tries to scan all of our things. If you have a Nintendo Switch, that needs to be outside. I know, the rules are different for every airport. The tram between terminal 1 and D has a better view than the tram between terminal 3 and D. My daughter was disappointed. It's more like a subway, I guess.

  • 5/5 Amreen S. 10 months ago on Google
Big busy terminal with lot of shops, restaurants and slot machines. Directional signs could be better. We took the train to exit and ended up in another terminal and had to take a shuttle bus return to get our baggage!

  • 4/5 Birdie M. 1 year ago on Google
Everything was clean and well labeled. It was a bit confusing getting to baggage claim as there are different trains to take depending on the airline you flew in on. There are a lot of places to eat and shop if you have a layover. The elevators are a decent size as well which is nice when traveling with a stroller and lots of luggage.

It feels overwhelming, but the sheriff and people who work there were very kind about helping me with a connecting flight when I was lost!! I felt scared when I saw it was an hour away walking distance (from arrival to departures), but with the shuttle itโ€™s very doable. Thank you to the staff!! And to the shuttle driver with the fun 90s RnB. Yโ€™all are real cool. Vegas vibes!

I know they have been remodeling the entire airport, but Gate C needs some work. It felt old there, but did have charging places at every seat, so it wasn't too bad. Gate D was fabulous! Two VIP lounges, lots of stores and places to use a laptop as well. The contrast was noticeable but only because I had time to wander between the two gates.

  • 5/5 Mortifer _. 2 years ago on Google
Everything is greatly labeled to help stranded travelers navigate their way around the airport. The restrooms were fully stocked with supplies. The restaurants were marvelous and the quality as well as the order times kept to a minimum.

When the nonstop flight doesn't work from Los Angeles to Denver, McCarran International Airport (LAS) is the ideal stopover for a mini-Vegas vacation. The expansive airport is complete with just about every amenity imaginable from celebrity-chef restaurants & bars to slots located throughout the terminals. GH

Easy to navigate this airport. Slot machines available if you want to play. Lots of dining options but many are closed at different times. Often the walking walkways are turned off. Shopping is available.
