Traveling through Las Vegas and I did a quick google search for the closest coffee to me and found this place. Was expecting a normal coffee shop but found a really cool guy who owned this great ethiopian coffee shop! He roasts the beans himself and has a great story about it. His attitude toward coffee is that of enjoyment rather than your typical morning caffeine shot. The coffee is excellent and he makes sure you got the cup of coffee you wanted. I talked with him for a few minutes and he had some great stories. Overall an excellent experience and I think he deserves more business. This place was great.

Unique Ethiopian coffee experience, will come back soon!!! Dont expect western/Starbucks style of coffee drinks (lots of milk, iced drinks, syrups, etc). The owner sources organic coffee from his grandmother's farm in Ethiopia, and roasts it himself in a traditional style. You can even buy his green beans! I had the macchiato, and it was delicious. It was wonderful to talk with the owner and hear his stories and learn about Ethiopian coffee.

Amazing coffee, and great service! All the coffee is roasted on site by hand, and the coffee beans are grown on his grandma's farm in Ethiopia. This is a truly unique experience- you'll be hard-pressed to find coffee made and grown like this. Don't expect western coffee (syrups, fancy iced drinks, etc). Expect down to earth great drinks. The macchiato is a must-try. You can also buy unroasted green coffee beans here by the pound. Awesome stop- will be coming back .

Kaldi's is a coffee lovers coffee shop. If you are looking to extend your coffee experience, let the staff at Kaldi's prepare one of their traditional services. From their daily fresh roasted beans, they will prepare a somewhat ceremonial coffee service featuring incense, bread and thrice poured coffee in decorative little demitasse cups. The fragrant aromatics enhance the experience, and it is great for a small group to sit down, chat and enjoy something that is done right. Another nice thing about Kaldi's is that your host will enrich your service by explaining the "why" of their service. Why the incense? Just ask! Where to they get their green coffee beans? Just ask. Throughout the service, you'll get friendly and thoughtful responses, and you'll leave with an experience that you'll surely want to have again. Oh yeah...the coffee is great too!

Very cool, local Ethiopian coffee shop that has brewing machine on site (not sure if just for looks but have raw coffee beans that you can buy). Small inside seating area, coffee was good but unfortunately not amazing like I wanted it to be.. esp since coffee was founded in Ethiopia! Has nice outside seating area too.

Very authentic and friendly local coffee shop serving Ethiopian coffees and also featuring a real Ethiopian coffee ceremony on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Mulu the owner is very fun to talk to.
