Desert Wind Coffee Roasters has some rave reviews so I took a little adventure across Las Vegas to visit. The coffee was great! And the ambience has a wonderful community vibe. Service was just ok. On this day I visited it was not overly friendly or helpful with some of the custom drinks. Just seemingly there to do their job on this day. I spoke with some residents and they noted that this used to be a very highly rated hip spot to visit. I'll come back on a weekend and do an update. 😊

A great place to meet friends and gave a cup of coffee / tea. Full disclosure - I was invited to a "meet and chat" event for a group I belong to. Desert Wind is an *excellent* choice! There was a table big enough for all of us (10 or so) and they have a great selection of coffee and teas - and snacks! Pro-tip = it can be a bit challenging to find. This lovely place is in a strip mall just north of Sahara on Buffalo. There was a small sandwich-board sign that said "Freshly Brewed Coffee" which was very helpful. So is this place hard to find? Yes. It is worth it? Absolutely YES! The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Nice, fun coffee house. Name is not prominent on outside... Just says Coffee Roasters. Clearly a locals place, and for a good reason.... Great espresso drinks. Be sure to browse the coffee related wall art: very entertaining.

Nice hole-in-the-wall spot to go to and enjoy alone time. The staff was VERY accomodating and patient with me because I didn't know what to get since I had never been here before. I got the Heisenberg coffee and a cheese danish pastry (not bad at all). The interior design was not my cup of tea (no pun intended) and it was just a little darker in some areas of the cafe. The furniture also seemed a little crowded. There were a lot of people coming and going within the 2 hours I was there, and that says a lot about how good the place is.

It was a cold winter day in Vegas when I stepped foot inside this coffee shop and glad I did because their coffee was delicious. I ordered the Walter and the better half the salted caramel mocha. Both were flavoursome and well made. Going to have to try another. They seem to have frequent flyers which was a good indicator.

From the moment you step into their warm and inviting cafe, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans envelops you. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are passionate about their craft and always happy to guide you through their selection of carefully curated blends. The coffee is simply exceptional - rich, flavorful, and expertly brewed. Don't miss out on the experience of visiting this hidden gem 💎

Awesome place! Fast and kind service. Unique hidden gem :) delicious coffee, and I hope to come back soon to try the pastries because they looked tasty. Their oat milk is made by them in house. The prices were fair, their largest size of iced coffee was around $3!

Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, great coffee. I brew coffee at home, and this is my go to place for whole beans. They have a wide selection of beans from around the globe, a handy menu listing the characteristics of the coffee, and knowledgeable staff to help you choose the your perfect bean. I usually buy an iced coffee when I stop in to buy my beans, and I occasionally sit inside to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Their iced coffee is better than the average coffee shop, in my opinion, and it’s priced in line with what you’d see at comparable shops. I’ve tried the Guatemala and the PNG beans. The former is a fruity and light coffee where as the latter results in a full bodied and chocolateee tasting cup. Both provide a nice clean caffeinated feeling in the morning. I plan to try all of the beans here and when I find my favorite, I’ll update this post. Please give me a 👍 and a follow if you’ve found this review helpful.

I like the rustic design and the local roaster making so many coffees. I would appreciate a bit of lighter roast profiles. Some of the products could be higher quality, like pastries, they also don't look very presentable with plastic wrapping. Staff was super kind!

Great selection of coffees, frappes, lemonades, and teas at a good price point. We enjoyed the iced americano, raspberry lemonade, and Thai iced tea to go. Friendly and quick service. Looks like a spacious place to sit and enjoy your drinks, too.

This is a hidden gem. The coffee choices are amazing. They also have a great selection of flavored tea's. Recommend that passion fruit ice tea. Plus they support local artists by selling their products. And I can't say enough about the service. They are fast and very helpful.

I wanted to try this small business to change things up & it was on the open rewards app. Coffee was decent, place is cute. Breakfast choices were very small.

Desert Wind Coffee is a nice place to hang out. It is a little noisy compared to other coffee shops. The seating is unique and retro. Sadly, the latte had no foam, flat white. Coffee tasted ok. The blueberry muffin was good. They served drinks and desserts, no food as of yet.

I had an amazing experience at this coffee shop! The must-try drink is the dirty Thai tea; trust me, you won't be disappointed. The staff is consistently friendly and provides exceptional customer service. Make sure to grab a few bags of their locally roasted coffee to show support for small businesses. Overall, this place is top-notch!

Ordered 2 of their specialty lattes and a vanilla chocolate muffin. They have roasting equipment in the building. Talked to the barista- they roast they’re own beans nearly every day. She was super knowledgeable and suggested 2 great drinks for us first-timers. Relaxed vibe with people lounging at tables and comfy couches.

Great tasting coffee. Also try the cheesecake brownie, it's excellent. Great people, and good tasting coffee. Not sour or burnt, shows someone is setting up the machine well.

So many tables inside, with seating outside too. An inviting place with amazing drinks. My favorite is the Walter White, although Eun’s addiction is a close 2nd. My kids have tried the Thai tea and the green tea drinks. All so delicious.

Nice indoors interior with different table sets, nice view too. The service was not good. The girl had little knowledge about the membership points, so I couldn’t use it. She kept going back and forth between the counter and “kitchen” or whatever is the other room, which resulted into a longer line behind us. Little to zero selection of kids drinks. There were 3 inside the coffee shop that time. Steamed milk with drop of syrup was more expensive than actual coffee and milk …. no comment. We carried our coffees outside to drink. Not even sure if I want their membership anymore. I mean what for???! Their biggest plus is location and that’s why they are getting stars for our experience.

This coffee shop has a great energy. Every time I’ve gone there’s people sitting talking and enjoying the space. The staff have all been friendly and helpful, and I love the golden knight latte.

Such a lovely place! Our son was having a soccer game nearby and we decided to grab some coffee. Those were really good! The stuff was very polite and professional. They did a special order to our friend who is pickie about his coffee. And they did it with a smile. Glad we didn’t go to a Starbucks or some place like that. This coffee shop is also very cozy, the atmosphere is relaxing. I wish there was such place near my home in Chicago. I absolutely recommend this gem.

This morning was my first visit when I meet a colleague here for a work meeting. He suggested the location and I was pleasantly surprised! The coffee shop is spacious, has really comfy seating, good parking, and is clean. Staff is friendly and I asked for a recommendation that was unique to them and choose the Walter White. Really great flavor on the coffee and just sweet enough. I had a nice, steady caffeine experience without the jitters. I can tell they have quality products and I would love to come back and try some more!

This is a great place that most people likely have drove past a thousand times and didn't even realize it. The coffee is roasted on site and it is high quality. They have plenty here too, the menu is really vast but not in an overwhelming way. They sell pastries, snacks, and even burlap coffee sacks. The internet is free so if you need to get some work done it is a nice quiet place to meet people or get things done. Very good staff and clean environment. Will be returning.

Spacious and comfy seating! Great coffee in quality and price! $2.50 for fresh brew coffee (mug offered in drink in store), and $3.95 for small iced Americano! I got it in a large cup to dilute it with water. Good wifi/study with laptop space. They usually close at 5pm, just 4pm on Sundays.

I’ve been ordering from them through Grubhub and I cannot emphasize enough how beyond delicious their coffee is. In the age of coffee giants like Starbucks, small shops like these still keep the soul of coffee alive by providing unimaginable levels of quality.

Great Americano (probably the best in town), cortado is nice, canario is cool, walter white is always a good choice. Dirty thai tea is nice wherever i want something sweet.

Cool spot. The barista didn't really try to make a sale since i didn't really know what i wanted, but it worked out. Would come back 😁

Unfortunately, the staff was extremely rude. It was my first time attempting to go inside and it will be the last. I was shouted at upon entry me for not having my mask on. I told them I didnt have one and asked if they had a disposable one for me and he said no, only to buy for $10 and then flicked his hand for me to leave. I was hoping to support a local business, but they will not get my business.

I am a regular here and they know and prepare my order as I walk in. Staff is super friendly. This place is fantastic, one of the best coffee shops in Las Vegas. The place is very clean and a fun atmosphere to sit and enjoy your coffee or even meet up with a friend. Service is very quick, you can even call in ahead. The point system is very nice and I have been awarded several free coffees. I really enjoy the ice Walter white. They roast the coffee beans in store daily and if you are lucky, you can watch them in action and smell the delicious aroma. They offer beans from all over the world and you can even buy beans to go. Highly recommended
