I have performed in numerous lounges on "the circuit" in Las Vegas and am very savvy to the quality of bands and venues. All that having been said, Cleopatra's Barge has been a steady source of great live entertainment every time I've visited, at least 5/6 times. Rarely having a cover charge makes this venue not only great for hotel guests, but locals and other happy hotel wanderers as well. Caution, they do press for drinks, with an "unspoken but reinforced" two drink minimum... and they aren't cheap. My date and I paid $19 each, for a simple glass of Rose and a Jack and Coke totalling $45 for two drinks including tip. It is after all, Caesars Palace. Take it in stride since the quality of the music is always solid, with again, typically no cover. Solid dance venue and quality sound system. The ambiance and energy of the front women/men of the entertainers keep you active and thirsty so keep track of your wallet. If you're a baller, then just sit back and vibe off the hot energy and music, especially current radio tracks... an always impressive repertoire feature of good cover bands.

Located at Caesars Palace made it very convenient since we were also staying at the hotel. The stage actually sits on what looks like a ship and yes there is some water to give it that look. We saw a 15 piece band/orchestra that played songs from Michael Jackson, Journey, Bruno Mars, etc. They were so good. There is a dance floor. Drink service was very good and we had the best time.

I saw a Dionne Warwick here last night and what an absolute great show not only does she have her son as the drummer but her granddaughter also came out on the stage and sing it was a great intimate show very nice seats she looked at me in the eye and blew me a kiss because that's what friends are for I highly recommend going to see any show in Cleopatra's barge because the place is a great Vin remember they make you drink drinks before the show because the performers do not want waiters and waitresses walking around doing their show other than that this place is outstanding Caesar's Palace you did it again

We went to watch one of my pastime favorite live bands, David Perrico's pop strings orchestra. He does not disappoint. Every time I've seen them, they put on a show that is worthy of international recognition. So full of life and excitement. The crowd was lit up and the energy transfer between the band and crowd is so thick you can almost reach out and touch it. The familiar music of the golden oldies and 60s, 70s and 80s makes it so fun, then they hit you with current hits. Groovy, rad, and stellar all in one. The drinks were perfect. Not too strong but left me with a nice smooth buzz throughout the night. Oh, did I say that it's free?! Yeah...no cover, but seating is limited which is fine with me. The layout of this club is fun with its barge cutting right through the bar. (i.e. includes a moat around the barge. Cool) Great show and great venue.

I was lucky and had an awesome time here. When I showed up a little after midnight the dance floor had just a few people - about half guys half girls, with a mix in age. I danced by myself for a while and when more people showed up ended up finding a few fun partners to dance with. It was very casual, lots of seating, just-slightly-expensive drinks. Good place to drop by without planning.

We just saw the Cocktail Cabaret show last night and it was wonderful! Great singers and musicians in an intimate setting. The time, 5pm allowed for other activities afterwards. My husband and I will definitely go again!

Last night we were seated and after 30 minutes we left because no one came to take our drink order. Hated to leave because the band sounded great, but I hate being ignored.

Loved the atmosphere and seeing Wayne Newton perform. Drinks are very pricey ($19 for a small cocktail that wasn’t by any stretch of the imagination β€˜fancy’ or worth the $$).

Went to see Wayne Newtons new show there tonight...AMAZINGLY small venue. I had VIP seats up front...I practically sat in Wayne's lap. Hurry to see him in this new venue...like Vegas used to be...small and intimate lounge I felt like it was 1966 and Wayne was a youngster...You will love this new Up Close and Personal show.

We enjoy Fri & Sat evenings (10-midnight) with David Perrico's 14- piece live Pop Strings Orchestra. This is the BEST free entertainment and dance venue on the strip! The waitresses serve drinks during the show without interfering with the show. The orchestra consists of the best musicians and singers on the strip who compete to be able to play with this group in a lounge atmosphere. Most of the pop pieces feature the entire orchestra and singers but some also feature individual soloists and ensembles, including amazing original improvisation. There is nothing like this on or off the strip!

Classic Vegas lounge, literally and physically. That thing has been there at least since the 80's. I remember my aunt working here when I was a kid.

Saw Wayne Newton - 2 hour show. Loved hearing about his life. So much history. Very intimate location. Loved it.

Fun place. Saw Puddles Pity Party. Tickets were $59 general admission, first come first serve seating. We found seats kind of crammed into an upper back corner. We were in tall barstools which could have been comfier. Drink service was fast but pricey.

A great time, with an incredible band. The pop orchestra was phenomenal. It's very loud, and the drinks are expensive, but that is to be expected. Come early, it fills up fast!

Went to Cocktail Cabaret with some out of town guests. We all had an enjoyable evening. Like they say, it is a great place to get the party started. Would totally recommend the 6 PM show.

The space can be loud...when a major presence is appearing, it's a combination between vibe and performance...been here several times...most recently for "Wayne Newton: up close and personal"...wonderful show!

Everything is expensive, ended up spending $700 that night and the bouncer was very rude, drinks were decent and service was ok.

Great place to see the legendary Mr Las Vegas himself: Wayne Newton!

  • 5/5 Heather T. 4 years ago on Google
Saw Wayne Newton Up Close and Personal. You can't miss Mr Las Vegas when you're in town. Venue is small and sit as close to the stage as possible and then meet and greet.

Intimate gig with Dionne Warwick, audience of 150, she can still hold those long notes.

  • 5/5 Scott B. 4 years ago on Google
Yes, this place is amazing, especially on nights with the orchestra. Also saw Pop 40 and loved it. Amazing venue, great seats everywhere. Fast service and good drinks. We spent four hours here on a Friday night first seeing Pop 40, then the orchestra. Incredible talented people on stage.

This place looks really fun. I haven't been yet. But I passed by it today. And just found out that they have some amazing musicians booked here.

There are actually two parts to Cleopatra's Barge. There is the bar area and stage area. We had a few drinks there before going in to see Wayne Newton. The bar is very nice and Anna at the bar was awesome. She is super nice and made some fantastic drinks. The stage area of Cleopatra's Barge is very intimate. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Wayne Newton put on a wonderful show. It was over two hours long and he didn't slow down once. I work for Homeland Security at McCarran International Airport and have met Wayne Newton and his family several times. Once at the opening of the USO and then a couple of times as he was flying out. I tell you he is the most wonderful and friendly person I have ever met as is his wife. They always take time to say hello to everyone and thank the TSA screeners for all they do to keep the flying public safe. His Up Close and Personal show was amazing. He is such a amazing entertainer. I had no idea he played so many instruments and performed with a huge range of entertainers. I recommend this show to everyone.
