Good atmosphere and food is better than what I expected. Food is pricey for what it is but they must pay a lot on rent at The Mandalay Bay shoppes. They also have a vegan menu but I didn't take a look at it. We had two kids meals, a side of corn, cheese enchilada plate and fajitas. I also had one beer and my wife a margarita. Total was $117. I have been to Hussongs a few times and always had fun

Combination of Sportsbar and Mexican Cantina. Amazing Food. Highly recommend the Carne Asada as Main Course. If you like it spicy the Guacamole with Habaneros & Mangos. And make sure you ask for Jordan and get a table in the area of this amazing waitress - one of the best and friendliest services you can get. Please tip her well as her service & friendliness really deserves it!

Place is inside the shops between mandalay bay and luxor. There are quite a few restaurants here. We wanted some good margaritas and some good food and ended up here. It is a known fact that food inside resorts is expensive and okish so this place tries to balance them out in the middle Food portions are huge so keep that in mind before ordering or order slowly after seeing the dish Margaritas are good and very big menu and dedicated vegan menu so certainly recommend this for decent mexican food and also folks looking for vegan food

What a great little find walking from Luxor to Mandalay Bay resort. We were hungry and wanted something small and quick… this fit the bill and exceeded our expectations. Bonus, taco Tuesday, two tacos and two margaritas for $22. Which in Vegas is CHEAP. Great atmosphere and service by Regina, thumbs up! Oh and bonus was warm chips with salsa!

Pretty good food!! Had a list of vegan food options when coming into town & this place happened to be a quick 5 minute walk from my hotel. Ordered online & food was ready in ~20 minutes, which was awesome because I was worried it would be a lot longer. Burrito was good, lots of filling and pretty tasty. Got chips and guacamole, which was alright. I've had better, but certainly no complaints about this one. Best part was probably the Elote - which was well charred & seasoned. Very salty & a fair bit of lime. Overall I was happy with my order - and thrilled that they had decent vegan options. I would be happy to eat here again!

Salsa with chips were very good. Salad was just ok but enchiladas were better. My son really liked his stacked barbacoa quesadillas. Love that they have vegan meat options. Unfortunately they were out of vegan fish and carnitas. Live music was fun.

Avoid this place! Waiter has the worst mouth odor! I fell terribly sick after talking to him! Waiter was not accommodating at all. Restaurant did not have most of ingredients listed for the vegetarian items. He refused to substitute for anything and tried to charge us for asking substitutions for the missing ingredients. He even tried to charge us for asking hot sauce! After asking repeatedly what he can provide for the ingredients that they don’t have for our dish since nothing much was left in the dish itself, he went to ask inside and cook was more than happy to substitute. Dear Management, it’s absolutely disgusting to have to deal with someone with such bad mouth odor while we are there to eat. It ruined our health and experience. Please take action.

We came here because we were in the area and wanted some Mexican food. The chips and their red house salsa were fantastic. I believe I ordered a blackberry mojito, but it wasn't the best as it gave a medicine aftertaste. Elote, or Mexican street corn, can be served on the cob or in a bowl. The elote was not my favorite but I am also attached to the authentic street corn. The baja shrimp tacos were great after I added some of the chips salsa on the tacos as they are very dry; same with the pork belly tacos. The fajitas were a huge hit as they were delicious. Overall the food can definitely improve, but the service was fantastic. They have one of the best mariachi trios I've heard. They play everything and anything and enjoyed every song.

I had really high hopes for this place as the reviews I read were good. I first tried to order the “Mix and Match” but they cannot make any accommodations even if you have allergies, so I switched to the nacho platter and what I received were chips topped with a soup of cheese and sour cream. I hate complaining, but this was awful!

If you don't stop here and request Danielle why are you even in Vegas?! The margaritas really are that good but even better is her 5-star customer service. What a sercet gem! I was fully expecting another average everyday fast-causal dining trip and then immediately blown away with her kindness, prompt service, and attention to detail. Tip her well, she's a gem! Thank you, Danielle!!!

What a great treat! We arrived late in our hotel and this place was open. I ordered fish tacos and it was the best fish tacos I’ve ever eaten in my life! I will miss this place for fish tacos. The mariachi band sounds good when they sing, very festive! It was a lovely evening and we had a great time dining at this place. We definitely coming back in the near future.

Yes for all the vegan options! and HUGE portions! What? I picked from the vegan menu. Thanks to yelp check-in for the corn elote! Which I thought was a half corn but NO it was a full corn! Though I thought the flavor was a little bland and that may be because it is white corn and not yellow corn. I still enjoyed it. I ordered the Tostada Salad and boy was I surprised! The portion was ginormous! and yes I finished it. I appreciate the portion sizes especially for being on the strip. Oh and yes, of course there was free chips and salsa which of course you can't stop eating... Environment Very nicely decorated environment. I sat at the bar but there were all I want to say high tables. This place is inside the mandalay bay resort Niceness of the staff I sat at the bar alone and the servers were super friendly and attentive. There were 2 at the bar and they both took turns to make sure I was taken care of and didn't have any questions. Really nice experience Dollar For the portion, I thought it was very reasonable. Yes? Definitely!

I was pleasantly surprised by the service level and taste of the food. Alot of vegetarian options (and they have vegan but i went with vegetarian options). Overall i loved the food. Elote was delicious. Prices were reasonable. I'll be back on future trips

We got the guacamole, which wasn’t that great. But we order the taquitos which were pretty good! There was a nice selection of margaritas and we got the watermelon one. We also got the elotes which were excellent! Not too bad of a price point for being in a hotel on the strip.

David the waiter was very kind. When I mentioned no cheese he asked if I needed to avoid all dairy. Which was a nice touch to not have to worry about it while trying a new restaurant. He also remembered when we came back two days later. The food was delicious! The chicken was tender and the sauces had amazing flavor.

I had frequented here a couple times a few years ago, so I was excited to come back and once again indulge in their fabulous nachos. Alas, like many things have changed, these nachos went with it. They weren't bad, but they are definitely not nearly as good as they were before. Sadly the flavor was nothing like a few years ago. The regular chips (come out hot) and salsa are pretty tasty though.

My best friend and I are staying a few nights in Vegas from Massachusetts and this is literally the best Mexican food we've ever had. Every single bite was better than the last. From the chips to the amazing offers on their happy hour menu...it was fantastic. I made note to even ask for a manager to compliment the food and drinks. My friend and I ended up ordering a few different items off the happy hour menu and were blown away. COME HERE IF YOU'RE IN THE AREA!! 11/10!

Everything was flavorful and the service was speedy and professional. Can't wait to come back. 💜

Stoped in on memorial day around 5pm. Started with a jalapeño pineapple Margherita and it was pretty good. Ordered Carne asada totchos, mini birria tacos, street corn, and the Carne asada plate. The tots were pretty good, but the Carne asada was an extra 8 dollars and was not the same meat we got with the Carne asada plate. The plate was a miss for us, the rice was bland, beans were ok, potato chorizo ragu was a miss as well for us. Bland chorozo...not ok. Mini birria was pretty good. Our company had the Barbacoa nachos and they were pretty good as well. All in all not worth a repeat trip for our group. Service was very good and we tipped well. But for 100 dollars I just had a bit higher hopes. Gonna try sayulitas across the street next.

The quality of the food and drink is surprisingly good for a restaurant found in a shopping mall setting. We’ve been here twice and found the quality the same both times. The service is attentive and friendly. There are a variety of food and drink choices that will please everyone in your group. We will definitely be back next time we visit Vegas and hope to try new dishes.

We had a fabulous experience here! Great service, delicious food and tasty drinks. Of course it’s not cheap; it’s inside Mandalay Bay! With that said, we were pleased with our experience. The food was very good with generous portions; in fact, neither my husband nor I could finish our meal. Our server was super friendly and attentive.

Mexican restaurant with a separate vegan menu located at the shoppes in Mandalay Bay. We walked in close to closing time with no reservations, but were able to still get food at the bar which worked in our favor because our bartender was super nice, energetic, and funny. Loved the personal service. We were served an abundance of nachos and excellent salsa on the house. Couldn’t stop eating the chips and salsa! Loved the vegan menu which had many options. We went with the chili relenos and jackfruit enchiladas, as well as a round of margaritas on the rocks. The drinks were strong and delicious and the food portions were pretty big and decent for the price. We also ordered a round of tequila shots which were almost the size of a cocktail! Pricey shots but you get almost 2-3 shots worth in one serving.

The food is really good here but the SERVICE is even BETTER!!! There is this lady whose name escapes me but her service to my Sugar Bear and me will be forever memorable. She's really pretty with long black and might have been every bit of 4'7 tall. I didn't know what type of meat I was looking at. She brought me a small sample of the 2 meats I enquired about. Because she did that, I ordered that very meat. And boy oh boy it was good. It looked like bbq but was something else. If I ever visit Las Vegas again, I'm going straight to this spot. The waitresses are attentive, welcoming and fun.

I had the best frozen margarita with a bonus colada swirl! Our nachos (no pic-sorry) with barbacoa we're the most delicious nachos we've had anywhere in the US. Service was quick and pleasant. We had breakfast the next day (pic)and the burrito and juevos Rancheros we're very good. The chorizo had spice, but not too hot like many others we have had. The black bean salsa was drinkable-delicious!

The food here is always great! Ask for Saira, she is amazing, caring, funny and very helpful! The front of the restaurant was warm, we are glad we moved to the back to her section! I recommend adding the cheese and red sauce to your burrito. Also get a 24oz beer!!!

Definitely the most expensive place to go eat i would not recommend. Food is decent but don't expect to fill your stomach for less than $40 a plate. Anything less than $20 is a snack. I also needed salt because it was lacking flavor

I'm from Texas and this was the most expensive BLAND mexican food I have ever eaten. I actually had to use salt and pepper. I also didn't get a full chicken breast. The one in the photo is from an additional plate of chicken Fajitas some one in my party ordered. The chips and salsa are free and were the best part, very fresh. I don't think I'll return because the food wasn't worth the price. The service was great though.

First let me say Danielle was absolutely amazing! The margarita and food not so much...our bill was over $65 for 1 small margarita, a appetizer of bean dip and 2 quesadilla's. The margaritas I make taste 10x's better! The bean dip with Chorizo had no beans and the stacked quesadilla's were regular ole' quesadilla's (my 15yr old can make them taste better)...nothing to write home about and definitely not worth the $$. Save your money...eat somewhere else! Horrible food!

Danielle is the reason we come here! She’s SO nice, helpful and professional! She recommended the best margarita and was so thoughtful with her service. She was very sweet and fun to hang out with. Super patient and very knowledge about the menu! The food is always great which is lovely, especially since we are vegans. The cucumber margarita is perfection!

Great place for vegan food! the entire back of the menu was vegan. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially our bartender, Phil. Chips and salsa are on point. Habanero guacamole and salsa were awesome. We ate here 2 days in a row it was so good.

Went there for lunch with colleagues. Service is very slow if you sit outside and you are the only table they need to take care of. We had to watch them inside until we could wave for ordering and getting the check. Food was ok. All plates looked very nice but my food was not seasoned at all. Nice sear on the pork belly but blend taste. I added some salsa on my tacos to improve them. Salsa and chips we got before the meal were excellent.

Average Mexican style restaurant resting on it's past laurels. Food was ok ish. Nothing at all to write home about. The guac was fresh and plentiful but lacked taste. The nachos were warm and the portion large. The margarita was ok. The tacos were a disappointment. Would I recommend it? NO Will I go back? NO Was it good value? YES Price: $

Delicious food. I loved the fish tacos and shrimp fajitas! Attentive service and nice staff. Live music (a 3-people Mexican band whom you can order your song with tips, it’s totally ok if you don’t want to). My wife and I had a very good supper there!

  • 1/5 Chandler A. 7 months ago on Google
Not worth it, avoid at any cost. Ate here a few years ago, it was alight so tried it again today and will never be going back. The enchiladas were fine (I’m from AZ so my expectations are probably unrealistic). The Baja burger, however, was beyond inadequate. The fries would have been great, had they hadn’t been fried in oil used to fry fish. Super fishy fries. Ordered the burger medium-well, got medium rare part way through and rare center. I knew it was less done than had I ordered but ate it anyways rather than send it back. Halfway through I got a mouthful of raw beef that I physically couldn’t swallow. (Keep in mind I order burgers medium at places I trust their quality control, not just a lightweight). Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else for food.

Endless tortilla chips and salsa, who doesn’t love that? We had a larger party yet the service was attentive with refills and placing our order. Food was pretty good and atmosphere was fun. This place is good for crowds or just anyone wanting Westernized Mexican food. We shared the mix and match plate which was a sampler of all their signature dishes. It was pretty yummy and enough for two people. Place is situated in the indoor mall area of the hotel and casino so it might be a little harder to find if you’re in a hurry since the walk might be a little overwhelming. Overall, this place is a good option to have in Vegas.

The burrito was decent and smothered with sauce. Lived the California styled burrito option with avocado and fries inside. The service was good at the bar. Peak times are harder to find a seat, but bar seating was adequate. The food was served fast. Looks like they claim to have invented Margherita, an interesting story, at least.

Extraordinary experience that is unlike any other for me. I've been to many high end restaurants but never one like this. The impression it leaves will remain with you for a long time. The price is high but it is worth it. There aren't a lot of really great restaurateurs in Vegas. Many of the high end restaurants in Vegas give a facade of being high end and they charge high end but deep down, they are just trying to make a buck. This one actually is high end.

Great service on a to go order from the hostess and it was ready a few minutes early too! Food was fine, I think I had higher hopes. Prices are a tad high though- $30 for a burrito and chips? You can get a nice meal at a fine dining place on the Strip for that or meal for a lot less at the places adjacent. 5-star service, 4-star food, 3-star value= 4 stars

  • 5/5 Frank R. 2 years ago on Google
Really juicy & flavor packed tacos! Prices... ehh wish were a little cheaper but for the quality of the food I can see where they're able to charge that price. Still very affordable tho, $25 for 3 tacos, beans and rice which in my opinion isn't bad considering the food was delicious. Complementary chips and salsa once you've been seated. 2👍's up.

We absolutely adored coming to this place to eat. The food was extremely tasteful, the entertainment was loud and fun and the staff was on their A game. Vegans come here! It's super difficult finding good Vegan options in Vegas unless you want to eat only Beyond burgers. Hussong's has an entire Vegan menu! And there are so many options. Because it's one of the few places you can find Vegan food in Vegas, I went serval times. Everything comes out fast. It's tasty. Portions are nice. Staff is friendly. Not really anything negative to say! Maybe a bit pricey but it's in a Vegas hotel so that's expected.
