Just wanted to update to say that this restaurant leaves the same response to every negative complaint on here. Unfortunately when you do respond to the email they provide, you no longer hear from them from them therefore they obviously don't take it serious umand that its just for the reviews to appear that they are handling it... sad really. I almost feel bad leaving this but hoping someone in upper management will see it. I eat at this location a couple of times a week and it's just getting worse every time. This was my food today...$45 later and 2 completely burnt bowls 😡 Went in the trash.. Guess I should have checked before taking it to go. They are almost always out of shrimp and crab and other ingredients. The staff they have is absolutely amazing. The poor girl that runs the front also takes orders, payments amd handles all of the tables.....does it all actually and is always there alone!! She's obviously over worked but you would never know it as her attitude is great. Happy personality and always willing to help. I too own a business and understand stort staffing, however when the quality goes to hell, something needs to change!

Came in for dinner have waited over 40mins for a to go order of 2 bowls and still waiting. This used to be my favorite date night spot but not anymore. There are only 4 tables occupied in the restaurant so I don't understand why it's taking so long. I can see why they are not busy on a Saturday night, it would take over an hour and a half to get your food. Will never come to this location again or a Gengus grill again if this is how the service is everywhere. It took 52 mins to get my to go order this was ridiculous. And no one ever apologized or anything poor poor service. Avoid the headache and go somewhere else.

We did a curbside order and drove 45 minutes one way to pick it up. You are able to pick 6 toppings and my large bowl literally only had potatoes and mini corn. So disappointing to get all the way home to have nothing of what you ordered. I'm a vegetarian so no meats were picked so there should have been plenty of room in the bowl to add all 6 of the things I requested not just two. $50 dollars wasted not including gas.

Very disappointed in the cleanliness of this facility on 550 N Stephanie St, Henderson. As we walked up to the restaurant at 7:00 pm, we noticed the glass doors were filthy with smuggled finger prints. The floor was sticky, the food bar wasn’t well stocked, and there was dropping of raw meat, vegetables, and sauce all over the counter. The sauce bar hadn’t been wiped down either, the spoons were very sticky! We had to wash our hands after using them! The bathroom wasn’t stocked with seat covers, and one stall was out of order. Bathroom door had finger prints all over it. Although, the server was excellent, kind, attentive, and very polite. Last time we were here was when it was first open. Now 12 years lasted, you can tell the establishment has gone downhill. This was a Groupon, and we got a good deal, although, we will not be revisiting your facility again. Best of luck to you…

I absolutely love Genghis grill ,it's one of the better Mongolian barbecue type places to eat in town ,it has a good selection of meats and vegetables and toppings for your meals. You build your own bowl, there's a variety of meats, veggies and spices to choose from, then they grill it for you. High quality, fresh food. I love the format of choosing my own veggies and proteins. This was a very healthy, high quality lunch. Great experience ,good food and attentive staff. I highly recommend it to everybody.

Great place !! Food is amazing And staff super frendly They helped me Threw out the prosses of making my own bowl and answer every question i had . Yhey have a kid frendly menu And i had no truble finding my way around for my first time . Will come back

Kelly is an amazing server. She gave us the best service we have had out here on the west coast. We will come back again and again. Food was great.

Staff are friendly and readily available to help with a take out order. Nice variety of meats to choose from. The restaurant was clean. There's seating inside. The Udon noodles were overcooked. That's the only thing that messed up the meal. I will try cauliflower rice next time.

I’d give it 4.3 stars if I could. Since it used to be that you could make your own bowl before. But now you grab the meatC while they put it on top of the massive bowl of carbs. But now you can order it with “no base”, too.

So delicious. Service is amazing. You make your own bowl to your own style of taste. :) Everyone in your party can choose their food taste styles. Excellent for family dinners.

Prices have gone up, quality has gone down. While it's still a great meal, I don't think it's really it's worth the price anymore.

Woth all the Covid protections this was not a good experience. Plastic forks, paper cups, the air conditioner wasn't working well.

This was our first visit. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile, and I'm so glad we did. Rorri was our server and he was absolutely fantastic. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about all of the food options. He throughly explained the whole process and prices of each bowl. He was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. My daughter's bowl consisted of steak and took a little longer to cook than the rest of ours; Rorri kept checking with the cooks to give us updates on how much longer she had to wait to receive her bowl. He made our whole dining experience very pleasant. The prices of each bowl are a little pricy, but the food is healthy and very filling, so I think it's worth it. We paid around $16.00 per person, this consisted of one trip to the bar and two base options (noodles or rice). The bar has a variety of protein and veggie options. At the end of the bar, there are sauces you can choose to flavor your meal to have your food cooked in. When you arrive at the bar, you are given a bowl to add all of your ingredients. Once you fill your bowl, you drop your bowl off to the cooks. Once your food is cooked, your server will bring your bowl to you. I do not eat meat, so I only had veggies in my bowl. I found out later that they do offer tofu as an alternative, you just have to ask the person behind the bar area for some. They can also add eggs to your bowl, you just have to tell the cooks how many eggs you want. I will definitely return to this location again the next time I visit Henderson or Vegas. I highly recommend asking for Rorri as your server. He will give you the star treatment!

Full menu or create your own stir fry. We has stir fry which was delicious, except the buffet of items was messy, not filled properly and you had to wait to get a bowl. They need to organize it better and keep it topped off. Staff was great (except for lack of service at buffet). Staff wore masks, which was appreciated.

First time trying out this spot after years of always passing by. Came in for take out. Service was friendly and fast. Unfortunately the flavor of the food I received did not justify the price I paid. I got a super fried rice and it taste bland. None of the meats in the rice had any flavor and neither did the rice itself. I am honestly not sure as to what seasoning was used, except for the soy sauce that was provided and I had to use just to give the rice some flavor.

Still good as always. Just expect a little delay if you have a large group. Due to the pandemic, waitress will take drink order and get ticket ready with choice of sides i.e. rice or noodles or both. Then you proceed to meat and veggie choice where someone will take order for you to the grill. Hopefully this helps someone because we didn't know what to expect during the pandemic.

freaking amazing

First off, if you do not like preparing your own food this is not the place for you. But if you are like me where you can pick your own protein, veggies, starch, and add your own quantity of sauces (and there are lot of really good sauces) then try this place out. You can pile your bowl as high as you want, bring it to the "chefs" and in a few minutes you will have a great meal. If you don't then don't blame the chefs. They cook what you give them. The place itself is a little "dark" in terms of wall color and booth furniture but that is a small thing. The service is GREAT and they do a good job of letting you know they like working there. The only reason I only gave them 4 out of 5 is because they need to be bigger somehow. Sometimes it feels like you are sitting too close to the other table. Regardless it's a good place to eat and the prices are very reasonable for this type of place. Try it out and don't forget to tip the chefs!

Very good food but sometimes they over cook a bit plus had to wait a long time to be seated. Update as of 08/07/2022 The wait time to be seated was a while this time also as they looked like they were short staffed. Food was still very good however they are really skimpy on some of the bowls now so this place is still a 3 star.

Been coming here for years now. Their bowls are Amazing! They have an assortment of proteins to choose from such as chicken,beef, crab, shrimp, etc. Appreciate the Free Regular Bowl for being a member of their rewards program. I will definitely return.

This was my first time here, and I want to say when it comes down to great food, it starts with servers like Rorri. He is extremely attentive and honestly the best server I've had at ANY restaurant (and I've been to a lot). The food is so good as well! It's such a fun style to be able to pick all your raw proteins and veggies and they'll cook it for you. The cooks here work extra hard to ensure whatever concoction you create comes out tasting amazing! 10/10 would come here again! One of my new favorite spots now!

Good Mongolian style BBQ. Yhey have an AYCE option which certainly will appeal to some people. Service is nice.

Amazing went for the first time, it was so good and filling. Paid $34 for 4 bowls and drinks and we were all full. Great first time experience will for sure keep coming here when I come to visit my friend.

Big space, friendly staff, good food for your money. I loved the challenge of stacking up as much food as you can in your bowl and choosing the sauces as well; It's like you choose the ingredients but don't need to cook it. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The food turned out really good and the place was clean, so I enjoyed it a lot. I especially liked it because I'm a meat lover and I feel like I got my money's worth.

Had an issue redeeming points, manager and server were very helpful in resolving the issue. Soft Drink machine was out of almost every kind of soda or jyst not working properly. Make your own bowl was great, cooked to perfection. Pot Stickers and dipping sauce were really good as well, cooked crispy on the bottom. It's not fancy inside, very basic.

We went on 6/21 at night. They had a decent number of people there. Only 1 server. But she was AMAZING. I didn't get her name, but she was a shorter lady with short hair. She never stopped moving..was handling everything and everyone great.she deserves a RAISE!!!!!! Food was good as well and fully stocked. Everyone that was there was great!!!!

Great food picked the large bowl 🥣 filled with steak,broccoli, mushrooms and salmon. Only thing is that it needed a good mopping kinda dusty/dirty floors. Bathroom could use an automatic air freshener.

This is a build your own stir fry restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food is. The restaurant itself could use some better decorations and setup but still good.

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner first time. Great staff and lots of options to choose to make custom bowl. I like that they also have calamari, shrimp, and crab meat besides the usual.chicken, steak, and so on. They have dry rub and can sample wet sauces. Loved their 3G sauce even mix with some terayki. They also let you choose size bowl even all you can ear but we went with medium size bowl and I had leftovers.

I ordered via Grubhub and I don’t know how someone kind of mess up beef and broccoli or hummus, or fried rice, but they did. It was so disgusting. I had to throw it away and I think I’m probably gonna vomit. It was not OK at all.

The food here is horrible and the restaurant is kept freezing like a walk-in cooler. I've tried this place 3x in the last 3 years because they send me a birthday coupon, and I used to love the ones in Colorado, bit man, each time it is just a terrible experience with attitudey servers and bad food.

This place is great. Was so cold on our last visit but food was yummy.

Loved the food. Was skeptical of the food laying out, but it’s well protected and obviously kept cold or rotated out when expired. The ability to create your own bowl is awesome. I wish you could sample the sauces but with Covid that’s not a possibility right now. The selection of drinks is large and perfect. The place was clean and comfortable and you can watch them prepare your food. The portions are large and very tasty and fresh. I recommend you try it and prepare yourself for the choices or just order the standard bowls.

Great place to eat...The selections are fabulous. Try the firecracker strip skewers.

The service was terrible. Our server talked with another employee the whole time. Everyone was looking around for the server and he would just talk even after making eye contact. I will never return to this place which sucks because I'm a regular here. Flat out disappointed!!!

Food was good and very fresh. The cook and guys preparing our food were great. Our table service was horrible, (for MM information...she was a very petite older women with a long grey braid down her back) just rude and not thorough in explaining the process now with Covid restrictions. This was our first time to this restaurant and she was very irritated by us asking questions. Be very specific on WHAT you want added to your food and HOW MUCH you want added, to the cook. (This is after you've made your bowl.) Ask what extras he puts in there also to cook it. I did not add soy sauce but my food was drenched in it. I had cabbage added instead of noodles or rice and they added about 10 ounces (that's a lot of cabbage, I know I cook with it often), so make sure you are specific. Hopefully service gets better because food is very good.

We both got the regular size bowl with an appetizer to share. The service was decent and the food was okay. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the choice of music coming out of the speakers. I can eat to anything, but rap is not my first choice, nor my last for that matter. Figured at 5pm dinner service they would have something nondescript playing in the background, but this manager thought otherwise. Also, I can't say much for the gong that was being struck as part of the "Genghis" atmosphere every few minutes. Food and service two stars 🌟🌟; atmosphere ZERO STARS.

Maybe better without covid protocols in place. Think AC was busted when we visited. Help staff nice but not attentive to guests. I liked the food would try again

Not Good at all. But they were open, which iscwhy they have 2 stars. Long wait time, after waiting to enter. Food area was dirty where protein and vegetables were. Person fixibg bowls was slinging fish into shrimp, onions into pepper. Came out burnt asked for water one cup looked like water, the other looked yellowish. Pre CoVid was definately better. They need more help. Seems like someone should always be monitoring the buffet area. Since we are not to get our own. Not pleased. Oh well.

Food is always delicious. Things do take a little longer as customers are no longer allowed to serve themselves at the food bar, but have to wait for an employee to serve. Staff is always friendly and we still look forward to going even with the covid 19 changes
