I had high expectations of this place and it greatly exceeded them. I don't know what was more beautiful, the food presentation or the decor. Ordered the combination plate, roast duck and honey-glazed bbq pork with a shrimp dim sum appetizer. The roast duck may be the most succulent dish I've ever tasted and the pork had incredible flavor. It was truly a meal to remember.

Expected more from a restaurant at a casino. The combination fried rice I had was bland at best. The rice was hard and shameful. The sweet and sour pork was in line with the rice. Relative to the price it is a disaster. I try my best to always find something positive in every experience. That said, even the service was shameful. The only positive I can share is that my experience came to an end. It is what it is. Save yourself the money and time...go elsewhere 🤷

I've heard about this restaurant several years ago and have been wanting to try it for some time now. As most people are aware, there are so many restaurant options in the Las Vegas-Summerlin-Henderson areas, so you have a tendency to forget about some restaurants that you've seen or heard of in the past. Needless to say, that day had arrived - my wife and I visited this restaurant on 10 Sep 2023 and we had a superb experience. When we walked in the restaurant, we were greeted nicely by the employees up front and got seated immediately since we were only a party of two (I recommend making a reservation if you have a larger group). We ended up ordering the Potstickers, Wor Wonton Soup, BBQ Pork Bao Buns, Mongolian Beef, and Kung Pao Chicken. Everything was outstanding in which I can't sit here and tell you which one was the best item. I was surprised on how wonderful the taste/texture was for the potstickers. I'm normally a big fan of Japanese and Korean-style of potstickers but this one was way up there as well. The soup had amazing flavor; the ingredients hit the spot and blended well in the soup. The Bao Buns were very soft and flavorful, and our main entrees were extraordinary (the Kung Pao Chicken was dramatically better than the one I've recently experienced at another Chinese restaurant). Bottom line, as I mentioned above, everything we ordered was exceptional. If you haven't tried this restaurant before, you definitely need to make some time to visit - whether you're visiting Las Vegas or if you're a local. Highly recommend! 🥠

I have enjoyed the food here for years! They have yet to disappoint. The line was long (but it was Mother's Day), we had a party of 3 and waited about 20 minutes. Food is hot, fresh and served quickly. Tried the Dim Sum, it was good. Unfortunately, they did not have several items on the menu. The Dim Sum prices were about $6 each.

Recently visited this establishment and had a pleasant time. We were seated immediately, but the server did take a little while to greet us. The food was delicious, and there were several options. The service was very good, there were multiple ppl stopping by to make sure drinks were filled and plates were cleared. Food was always hot.

Definitely a five star for dim sum, highly recommended the shrimp and chive dumplings, is one of the best we ever had. Personally I love the BBQ pork sesame pastry, soft but keep up the layers. The fired bread stick rice noodle roll I don’t recommend, is not the favor, it’s just nothing special about it, compare to everything seems really normal. Will definitely come back again!

Food quality is great and one of the best in Vegas. Service is fast but the workers are not friendly or customer service trained. One problem we had was that we ordered ice water, but they brought us hit tea. The prices are somewhat higher than other off-strip asian restaurants. The quality of the food makes up for the prices. I photographed the lunch menu and attached it here. The dining area is very spacious with ample space between the tables and chairs. It's very loud inside the dining area, but that is the typical in Asian restaurants. So if you are looking for a quiet and romantic Lunch or dinner, then this is not the location for it. This is a place where you meet friends and bring your whole family to eat dinner or lunch together and share dishes.

Great place for Chinese food! Portions are large- we each took food back to the hotel for another meal. The potstickers are larger than other places we have been. Juicy and flavorful with a slightly spicy dipping sauce. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and was pleasantly surprised at the good amount of shrimp! Service was quick and efficient and Staff was friendly. Gold Coast is a 'locals' casino and located off the strip. If you want good Chinese food, visit Ping Pang Pong!!

This is a good dim sum place if you don’t want to go to that Asian strip. It’s located inside the Gold Coast hotel and casino. We didn’t have a reservation so we waited in line. First come first serve. Service can be a little slow but it does pretty busy. Dim sum prices are standard and I’m going by prices from Chicago and Houston. Food was very decent. Everything was cooked properly and it came out hot. Restaurant was clean.

Awesome place inside the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino! Large menu selection and some of the menu items are prepared with emphasis on Chinese traditional cooking. The place is always busy and has a huge local clientele. Off the Strip and easy to get to. They are usually open pretty late as well, so it is nice to be able to enjoy the Strip and get a good Chinese style meal late night especially on weekends. Shrimp dishes and the Mongolian beef are awesome!! There are some dishes with duck as well, also very good. It is an excellent alternative off the Strip. Platters usually are pretty large. Been here several times and never had a bad meal. Highly recommend for locals, guests, and visitors.

What an authentic experience! Staff was quick, food was quick, food was good! We came in at 4pm and there was no lone but there were three tables left. The place is pretty big and can accomodate large groups. I ordered the duck because I haven't had one since I visited China. That was probably my boyfriend's favorite. My favorite was the Mongolian beef he ordered! The crispy noodles was okay tho - not much flavor and I've had better but good enough. By the time my boyfriend and I were done with our Peking duck, crispy noodles, and Mongolian Beef, the line outside just to get in was sooooo long! There were at LEAST 10 groups waiting to be seated. My advice is to go much earlier so you don't have to wait. I'd still come by to try other things in their menu. :)

My girlfriend was very excited about this place because dim sum the traditional way, with push cart and stamp card. The tofu pudding was not as soft as the good Hong Kong way but its served in the traditional wood tub. I loved the food but I'm a gwailou. She said it was decent. They open at 10 we got right in but by 10:30 it was busy. Get there early.

Excellent Chinese restaurant located inside the Gold Coast Casino. The food was very flavorful and tasted great. The menu has an array of items that offers something for everyone. I highly recommend the Shrimp Balls and the oxtails dish cooked in wine. The portions were adequate and priced accordingly. The servers were very friendly and took a genuine interest ensuring all our needs were met. The wait time for the amount of dishes ordered was minimal and quite impressive. The restaurant was clean as were the tables. The venue is big enough to accommodate large groups. I would recommend making reservations due to its popularity with locals and tourists.

Food is absolutely amazing. Price is very reasonable. The employees are nice as well. The only thing is they are in a casino. I guess all the good restaurants are in casinos though. I would definitely come back here.

In A Nutshell: -Ping Pang Pong is pungderful! -Located inside the Gold Coast Casino is this dim sum restaurant. -The service is very good. -Nice ladies pushing carts of various steamed or baked offerings. -The roast duck is nice, plump & tasty. -Everything I ate was really, really good. Overall, the only knock on the food is its very salty so you end up drinking a lot of water, even hours later like I am doing now as I write this review!

Convenient location inside the casino. Serves off a menu for lunch regular ordering style or dim sum style. The workers are efficient, and hard working. Several of the workers have been there several years. Today we dined with the service of Lala, who stated she has worked there for ten years. The food is prepared fresh and hot. Great variety of authentic Chinese food. We enjoy the lunch menu. This restaurant can serve large parties and a high number of customers at a time. Give them a try!!!

Second time to this restaurant. Ping Pang Pong impresses with a large menu that has many authentic Asian Cuisine choices not just Americanized food. We were seated quickly close to the kitchen. Service was efficient , but only 4 stars because our waitress disappeared for a good while. Food was good and certainly plenty. We ordered duck, beef and chicken Kung Pao as well as Potstickers and Springrolls for appetizers. The restaurant was clean. You have to order everything separate nothing is included not even the rice. We ordered white rice ($1 for a cup) and combination fried rice. This restaurant is very popular and it does get busy. Probably one of the best Asian places in town and relatively affordable at about $20 - $30 for most main dishes. There is a seafood menu with no set prices (market prices). Great opening hours make it a go to spot for late dining.

Pretty solid dim sum spot inside Gold Coast hotel off strip. The cart ladies are nice as well. I like their char siu buns since it’s not super fatty. During my visit the staff spoke mandarin but also understood Cantonese.

It was alright this time. Sticky buns were much smaller and tiny pieces of meat inside. Pork was not fresh in lettes wraps, tasted like old meat. Fish was not great either. Only pot stickers and shrimps were really really good. Last year we went there, food was much better. That's why we came there again... Anyway, it's too high price for lower quality. Not coming back.

First dim sum I tried in Las Vegas. It’s satisfying, be it the price and the quality . We ordered 6 plates of dim sum, just nice for 3 of us , cost us $55 (before gratuity). The tea charges is really friendly - $1 per person, with variety of tea choices like Pu Er and my favourite Sau Mei (not a popular tea but it taste good ). The restaurant located inside the casino, without any signboard outside the building . We walked approx 30m to the left of the casino entrance , went in the building , Ping Pang Pong is right in front after passing through the slots machines .

Food is good, except the pork ribs we ordered was super pink and we didn’t eat it. This place is very crowded and long lines in the casino during holidays. Parking is free which is nice. Service is just ok, they will get what you requested, but we did not feel very welcome.

ng Pang Pong resturant review: I love Asian cuisine.. and I never imagined I would be obligated to leave such a poor review. I picked this place to try Dim Sum for the first time. When I arrived it seemed like no one spoke English. I was sat at a table that was unprepared. My plate was dirty with black markings. I ordered chicken feet, lotus sticky rice, shrimp noodle, and lamb skewers. I have never eaten chicken feet and I would try it again. Yet being a foodie and someone that has experience in the kitchen the chicken feet were cold, soggy and way to sweet in runny sauce. The Lotus Sticky rice was the worst surprise I have ever recieved in my life. It was like someone build down all kinds if meet into piggish slop and threw it into the middle of sticky rice. The rice noodle also was cold and believe over cooked. The noodle.eas falling apart in the worst kind of way. Lamb Skewers were fresh and seasoned well. A little heavy on the cumin and balanced in salt. The Pork and Vegetable Bao was fresh, simple and okay. I asked for a water and they brought tap water in a dirty glass. When asking for assistance they all looked around and called one another to my table to assist but couldn't understand me. Honestly this place reminded me of a run down Shoney's buffet. I literally nibbled on the food and left 95% of it on the table and paid $52.00. I would never recommend nor go back to this place

Aside from the delicious dim sum and wonderful dishes off the menu ~ I ❤️ the noodles with shrimp! I always ask if the chef can make it spicy ~ hot. 🌶 🔥! 😋 It's so tasty, my mouth is watering just thinking about it! The noodles are never over cooked and seasoned perfect. Wish they had another restaurant on the west side, but it's worth the drive just to get the noodles! The service and staff are great too.

We went here based on other reviews and ended up not enjoying it much. I guess the food just didn't meet our liking but it wasn't necessarily bad food. We tried the soy paper rolls, sticky fried rice, lamb kabobs, and oyster noodles

Taste :4.3/5 Environment: 4.2/5 Service:3.9/5 Not sure if it’s lack of ms power . The waiter has an attitude but the food is authentic. Ding siem items are not many choice at the dinner time :(

Good chinese restaurant in the gold coast casino. Actually not bad at all thinking back. We ordered only about 3 dishes to share, but all were good. Desserts were amazing too.

Authentic tasty Chinese food prepared, good service but vibe is like an Asian Denny’s. All shareable plates only!

  • 4/5 Adam M. 11 months ago on Google
This restaurant is an absolute gem for those who want delicious food without breaking the bank. The bao was melt-in-your-mouth soft and packed with flavor, and the perfectly fried shrimp balls were a standout. The sticky rice was a perfect complement to every dish we ordered. While the Mongolian beef was good, it wasn't the star of the show, and that's the only reason we couldn't give this place five stars. Regardless, we left feeling pleasantly stuffed and completely satisfied with our meal.

3.5/5 - Long waits, decent food, good spot for groups. Place gets busy! Be prepared to wait 30 minutes to get into the restaurant and another 40 for your food. Decently cooked Cantonese style dishes. Nothing out of this world. You can find similar quality in Chinatown plaza. This is probably as good as it gets this close to the strip though. Restaurant is fairly family style, so it's tough to order single dishes if you're solo-dining. Portion sizes are excellent for groups though! The atmosphere here leaves little to be desired. The entire place smells of cigarettes since it's inside the casino. I really wished I had grabbed takeout instead. Overall, good Cantonese food for being this close to the strip, but not as good as hyped up to be.

  • 4/5 Sarah S. 1 year ago on Google
Had to wait at least 10 minutes for seating. The service was pretty good afterwards though- had my order taken and drinks brought over quickly. There is a charge for tea and rice though, which they didn't have before. Also, the food quantity is small for the price, although the taste is great. I recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Chinese food in Vegas.
