We stop in at least once every time we come to Vegas. We had shrimp tacos - Highly recommend them they are delicious. Had Margaritas which were decent and chips and salsa were good but nothing amazing. Staff super friendly and if you sit outside great people watching.

Fairly yummy mexican grub in a super convenient location on the strip close to the forum and a vibrant bustling area. I hauled a shrimp ceviche which was overall tasty and pretty good flavor, a light lunch at fairly reasonable price given the location. I must admit, the service is super slow and can be a bit of a pain when you want to make a move to make the most of your day.

Had a craving for some tacos 🌮 and burgers 🍔. Location is great here because your by the strip and also shopping 🛍 area. You get to enjoy dining in the patio area or inside with a bar 🍸 to vibe with good selection of music 🎶 playing during your time there. Once sat down there is a scan QR code you use to check the menu. Which is a plus for those that are still trying to stay safe with hygiene reasons. We ordered some side of chips and salsa while waiting for our main course. Wait was decent is was 10 to 15 min after ordering. Lots of TV 📺 flat screens to watch games while waiting too. Once we got our meal is what nice and warm to enjoy through the lunch hours. Our waitress was nice but after ordering, there really was not much engaging or acknowledge of how we are doing throughout our meal. There are random people that come in trying to sell you things and 📸 pictures. Nothing is free in the US. Be aware! They have a mechanical bull for entertainment but we didn't get a chance to see it go live. 🦬 Went to the restroom before and after finish eating but noticed that the restrooms 🚻 were not as clean. Toilets clugged and sinks had some sort of blood stain 😲 but tried to get someone attention of cleaning that. They should be checking those stalls every 30 min to and hour. Pricing is decent before heading out. Your spending around 35 dollars per person which is okay depending where you from (state) could vary. No acknowledgment when leaving either.

Omg. Chayo. What can I say! It was really bad. Food is pricey and has mediocre taste. We had ranchero and breakfast platter and they were edible but okay. It tasted somewhere better. The only thing good about this place was the coffee. The taste and quality of food don't match the price tag. The server gave me a cracked coffee mug that was leaking when she served it. I still gave her a 15% tip tho. But the moral of the story, we will not come back and I don't advise you to visit here. Go elsewhere.

Chayo Mexican restaurant provided a really nice breakfast. The breakfast tacos were well made and the whole meal was quite hearty. The potatoes had a wonderful crunch while lacking a flavorful punch. With the additional beans it was a large breakfast at a very good price that gets you fueled for a busy day ahead. The restaurant was very nice and extremely spacious. The servers were kind and service was fast. An easy recommendation if you're looking for something solid and familiar. Enjoy!!

We love the ambience and music inside this restaurant. They are understaffed and will let you know certain areas where they cannot seat you. Otherwise, they are pretty accommodating if you don’t like the initial area where they seat you. The chips and salsa are sooooo good. We have been here three nights in a row and finally had the cheese enchiladas with green sauce. The strawberry margaritas are also very good. They also do offer a military discount, which is great. Overall, we plan to be back.

We stumbled upon this place looking for a good restaurant to eat. Most was closed early this past Sunday. My family and I was very glad we did. The food was so delicious!!! Straight 🔥! The sweet corn enchiladas are MUST TRY!!!!! You won't be sorry. Will be coming back.

This is a very clean nice restaurant but I was the only person in the entire place during lunch time for some reason? Then I noticed the prices for food or drinks and realized why. The bartender was friendly but completely disappeared after making my margarita. The margarita was good but nothing special. They do have a large tequila list if that's your thing.

Where to begin... how about the best staff, if Chayo is listening Annie is the best, a true asset to this establishment. I would be hard pressed to find a better example of a customer service oriented employee. A+ for this one, promote her and you will go far. Food was great, drinks were on point, and the service was amazing.

Came here with some friends once while strolling through the area. The food was above average for sure. Laid back and cool atmosphere and the staff seemed to be nice. Not the best though, especially for the price. I remember the bill being a little pricey. The drinks were decent, but not that strong. There are tons of places in the area but if you haven’t been here and want some good food I recommend stopping by at least once so you can form your own opinion.

We were really looking forward to this place after seeing it on social media. Unfortunately we most likely won’t be back for dinner. The food was good at best but far from great. The price definitely did not match what we received. The service was not good as the waitress felt rushed and even forgot to bring us our drinks we eventually received them after we finished our appetizer. Towards the end of our dinner we wanted dessert but we were told the kitchen was closed even though the restaurant closing time is 11pm and we ordered at 10:30. The atmosphere was good because of the location but the vibe felt too much like employees just hanging out and chatting. A few areas of opportunity for improvement for management. Good luck!

We came here for lunch because of their extensive tequila bar and we have 2 tequila drinkers in our party. We were excited by the menu and were seated quickly. That’s about all that went right. The waiter, while knowledgeable about tequila in general, gave a subpar recommendation for a tequila flight. Half ignoring what our friend said he liked, he pushed one particular flight and that was it. We waited forever for him to come back to take our order. Once he did, he seemed distracted and unable to focus. He had to come back to clarify details of our order, as if he couldn’t read his own writing. (Spoiler alert, he still got it wrong.) Of the 6 meals we ordered, only 3 came satisfactory. 2 of the orders were wrong as far as adding or removing ingredients as we requested (and were charged extra for.) The 3rd order was for carne asada tacos. These came as piles of meat, rice, and beans; not tacos. 2 in our party ordered shrimp tacos and those came completed as 3 tacos. Nowhere in the menu did it say the carne asada were build your own. (That style is more of a fajita, which we actually also ordered. That was one of the meals that came correct.) Also, we noticed that while all our meals included “refried beans” as listed on the menu, some of us had black refried beans and some of us had pinto refried beans, with no real rhyme or reason as to who got what. After the waiter couldn’t answer our questions, we asked for the manager. The manager, Tammy, came out ready to argue. Her entire attitude was that of condescendence and arrogance. She spoke over our friend, treated us like we were stupid for asking about the bean situation, and just about refused to be helpful until she realized how mad we were getting. She had no real answer as to why some tacos came “build your own” and some didn’t. “That just the way we serve them.” She got very defensive when we said that the menu should be more clear so this kind of confusion doesn’t happen. The entire situation was escalating because she didn’t want to concede that we had a reason to be upset. Then she made it a point to ask overly detailed questions about an incorrect dish to a CHILD without letting an adult interject to help him. She made the child feel extremely uncomfortable by focusing on him after she argued with the adults at the table. Since she was the manager, we asked to speak with her boss, as she refused to take one of the incorrect dishes off the bill. We waited for over half and hour for this gentleman to finally come help us. He not only took off the carne asada (not) tacos, but also the child’s dish, as well as some extra to make up for the inconvenience of the “manager.” At this point, it was the least they could do. As for the food, it was decent enough. I wouldn’t normally want to pay that much for the quality of food, but it IS Las Vegas. They would probably do a lot better if they had any sense of customer service and better trained wait staff. There are many other restaurants along this stretch of the Linq, do yourself a favor and pass this one by.

This is a hip restaurant and bar located in the Linq entertainment area. It has both indoor and outdoor seating and a DJ playing music that gives it a clubby feel. If you’re looking to start the party here before your big Vegas evening really gets going, this could be a good place. (On the other hand, people looking for a quiet dinner might want to sit outside.) All of the food we sampled was good, with people in our group remarking on how good the chips and guacamole were. The burritos and Chicken Verazon were both large portions, while the tacos were a bit lighter. The tacos Al Pastor were surprisingly spicy, but I really enjoyed them.

Was looking forward to this place after seeing it online. The food was alright at best but far from great. The prices were way too high for the quality of food received. The atmosphere was good because you were in the Linq Promenade but the vibe of the restaurant was also OK. Will likely not be back. Good luck and hope to see some improvements.

Laid back atmosphere. Can dine in the restaurant or on the patio. Nice place with mechanical bull switch I didn't get on haha. Food is tasty but kinda on the spicy side for the kids. Just right if you love spicy food. Has a little kid. Went for dinner and very much enjoyed ourselves. The portion did are what you pay for!

Chayo Restaurant offers a dual entrance experience, with one side from the Link Promenade featuring glass doors on a red carpet, adorned with a captivating sugar skull illuminated by various lights. On the casino side, a candlelit ambiance welcomes you, with a small bar on the left. Once seated inside, Chayo's vibrant decor sets the tone, and there are ample opportunities for photos on the second floor, with restrooms accessible via elevator or stairs. A patio outside provides a picturesque setting. Downstairs, another patio on the Promenade is a delightful spot for dining and drinks. The staff's exceptional friendliness reflects a well-executed hiring process. For breakfast, the chilaquiles stand out as some of the best on the strip, making Chayo a must-visit for a delicious meal that might just extend into lunch.

When you first walk in, I was not expecting a mechanical bull in the middle. It was nice inside looks like it would turn into a really cool bar/nightlife. We went for brunch on a weekday. It was fantastic. I had chilaquiles with chicken and you can definitely tell it was a nice homemade sauce! Then I had the churro French toast. Wow! Everything was so good. I had the house margarita, which is good kind of hard to mess up. Wait staff was great! One thing I didn't know about was this weird fee on it. For 2 people, we had a bill of 96 one drink each and 3 entrees. Strip prices 🤷‍♀️

The food was great! I had the Corn enchiladas, amazing flavor, little heat etc. However. The guacamole was a little hard like the avocados weren't ripe enough. But the thing that really blew me away was as we were eating chips and gauc some chick came over and was taking our photos, telling us to do different things etc . Then when we got our meals and literally had a fork and knife in my hand while eating she came back with printed photos in hand in frames handing them to me to look through? I'm like???? Can we not be left alone while eating? Then wanted me to pay $40 for it?! Like it's one thing to be constantly accosted on the strip, but while eating?! Blown. Away.

Stopped by for a late dinner, food was sub par. I got the mexican philly cheesesteak, the meat on it was terrible, lots of fatty/gritty pieces. The street corn was pretty good. I got a margarita, it was in the smallest glass and was $21. Overall for my bill to be almost $70 for those few items was not worth what I had. Also I get turning tables over and getting people in and out, but I didn’t like the guy hovering around the table ready to take plates away, seemed like we were being rushed and it wasn’t busy and people weren’t waiting on a table.

food is so so. we ordered breakfast. Not sure about lunch or dinner. they seemed understaff as you have to wait a while to get served. And it seems charged a bit more than the price listed on menu.

Perfect place for Mexican food. Would love it if they were playing Latin Music during our visit. It was NFR week so they cater to the event by playing country music instead. Other than that, we all enjoyed our food and drinks

Came here for vegetarian sweet corn enchilada during lunch and liked it. Place is good and very big inside. Service was bit slow but food tasted good.

Excellent Sweet Corn Enchiladas, for those out there that don’t know like I did, you can add chicken! It’s so good! Really good service and an amazing view of the promenade. You can people watch while you eat your dinner on the patio.

Excellent casual spot accessible from the Linq Promenade. Would highly recommend if you’re in Vegas. The queso with chorizo was the best I’ve ever had! It was absolutely perfect! The chicken enchiladas are served with rice and refried beans. Was debating between the tacos and the enchiladas and our server recommended the enchiladas. So glad she did!

Nice place for a casual breakfast at the LINQ. The tacos are generously filled with chorizo, scrambled eggs, veggies and cheese. A spicy salsa is served alongside hash brown potatoes and beans. A nice hearty breakfast washed down with good coffee. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly, despite being slammed at 8am opening time.

First timers and it was good! Husband and I shared a pitcher of beer with shrimp tacos and queso. Not sure we will be back since we’re here visiting, and I’m sure there are many other places that beat it, but it was a good meal and not extremely pricey.

  • 4/5 C F R. 1 year ago on Google
The food was really good! I had the shrimp tacos. There were 4 tacos and they were healthy portions. The tortilla soup was excellent. Our server was nice and accommodating. The didn’t have kale so I couldn’t try the kale salad on the menu. The pineapple habanero margarita was not good at all. It could have just been the bartender because I like those ingredients. They gave me a house margarita instead and it was really good! I would definitely go again when I return to Vegas!

The food and drinks were pretty good. The portion size was decent and the drinks were well poured. The service was just okay. Our server would disappear on and off, but this was also New Years Day so everyone gets a free pass. There are two bars on the inside and it looks like a mechanical skull of some sort. There is also a DJ booth and heated outdoor seating.

Got seated right away and the staff was super friendly. We got the nachos for an app. I thought they were great, my boyfriend was disappointed the sour cream was drizzled on top, he thought would be to side. So he wouldn't eat any. He got the chicken tacos and there was crushed up bone in the meat. He said you could feel little pieces in it in the first bite. So he didn't eat anything else. I had the quesadilla and that came out great no issues.

  • 3/5 Rita M. 1 year ago on Google
I have to say, we stopped by for breakfast yesterday morning and it was decently priced. You couldn’t beat paying $15 it was good considering the prices at some places. You get 3 slices of bacon, 3 eggs, potatoes and toast or tortillas. Coffee is $4.75 When we stopped by tonight for dinner I was a bit disappointed. My husband got chicken tacos. We expected tacos not a place of chicken and tortillas on top. It was also supposed to come with “ cojita cheese“ and we asked for it and was charged $1.00 for it but received the wrong kind of cheese. We were NOT supposed to be charged as it was part of the platter. We got tired of trying to tell the waiter anything. He wouldn’t listen. Annoying! Chicken tortilla soup was decent. Not enough juice to it. Not your normal Mexican place. You have to pay for chips and salsa. I guess another way to make money, who knows. Well I guess that’s my last time going. Also, I feel like the people taking pics pick and choose the people they want to photograph. Stop skipping people’s table, it’s wrong and rude! You make others feel bad. How dare they. The lady taking pics needs a lesson in manners.
