The worst market!. It is the second time I buy a cake at this location and it is mouldy. I had bought the cake for my boss and when the cake was cut it had a really bad SMELL and the bread had green mold , looked like spider webs❗It's not only that but they usually have expired food❗ Honestly I do not recommend this unsupervised market! IT IS THE WORST❗❗❗ Plus when you ask to speak to the store manager they're never there to take care of the customer. Very unprofessional❗ I see now how come this store has expired food❗it is because they just change the date tags on most of their stuff❗ here are some pictures plus I also witnessed at the bakery, employees changing the date tags on same old pastries ❗you can literally see the underneath tag was removed ❗

I would of gave 1 star but I do enjoy the pastries there and the food, but I would like to bring attention to the meat department, I was in there recently and stopped by the meat department I purchased chicken thigh meat and opening the bag when I got home the chicken was rotten along time ago!, these guys tried covering it up with marinade!. Your meat department is well aware of this and this is very low of you guy’s to serve this to the people that pay alot for groceries, meat department needs to be advised about this. If the meat is BAD! Throw it out!. Or pay attention to your purchase amount.

It is very nice, the food is good, yet they need keep the parking lot cleaner.

Huge fan of Cardenas Market, Bonanza & Eastern. Conveniently located on the RTC bus 110 route. A large Marianas Hispanic Market is located across the street, too. Cardenas has large Cocina with very reasonable prices, wide selection and a free salsa bar, as well as amazing in store baked pastries and sweets. A large meat and produce station and very friendly and efficient staff.

Super nice people at the fruit counter! Really helpful and made getting in and out easy and quick.

I'm so disappointed they don't have any more fresh produce. I bought some lettuce in a sealed bag, and the outside leaves were fine buy they were spoiled in the inside. The same happened with some blueberries I got..😔 As per 07/23/23 I went today, and it looked like shelves were almost empty!! It seems depression is hitting Cardenas really bad. I used to like this market so much because there was a large selection in produce area, in the dairy section, meat and bottled food... no anymore👎

My husband loves T bone steaks and they had some at a very good price.

The bathrooms are never clean. Always out of toilet paper in there. Missing a seat on one of the stalls. The other seat is broken. Trash cans in the bathroom with waste covered toilet paper. Service there is horrible. No one seems inclined to help customers. Just brush them off and continue working. If you can avoid this place, I would advise you to do so.

Today, 07-26-2023, I received the worst customer service experience from Reynaldo R. the cashier in lane 5. Very unprofessional and a bad representative of Cardenas. Very unfortunate. I will be writing a more detailed complaint to the management of the store. And doing their online survey.

I love their kitchen entrées, chiles rellenos are the best. Tortilleria is unique. I do my produce shopping here too. Service has improved and stores are clean and following CDC guidelines.

So today I stopped by after work and purchased Carne al pastor. When I started cooking it I noticed some type of wrapper in it. 😩 Also very bad customer service. They see you waiting and they leave you waiting, they run to the back. They don't even greet you. 😒 At this point don't have counter service since it's to difficult for them to do their job.

Nice and friendly store and they answer all my questions and they help me find what ever I was looking for in the store.

I was at cardenas early this morning about 9:30 am standing outside the door talking on the phone about enter the store to go to the ATM a tall Hispanic guy working in the store is standing by the door steering at me. I walk in the door and was ask by him do I need help .Not like he wanted to help me but like I was doing something wrong.i said no I'm going the ATM. I was follow behind. While conducting my busy the tall gentle man to me I had to leave in a aggressive voice a cashier try to stop him as I was in fear for my I said what I'm I doing wrong and left the store. It's sad that we are steal being oppress by the people who suppose to be are ally's if we can't get it together are families or doom.

This location has literally nothing in stock. The one on Eastern & Sahara is way better.

Never disappoints! Has all my needs for authentic Mexican food and groceries. Huge butcher shop.

The Customers and the Staff were very friendly and helpful. The store seemed really clean, and there's a large variety of items.

I would be careful with the products purchased here. I came in 3/7 for tortillas Guerrero and was getting ready to use them at home and I noticed mold on them. Went in today 3/8 for a return and they offered me another pack but after that experience no thank you.

The store on Bonanza and Lamb has a much better variety and is much cleaner than this market. I would give the other store a 5 star rating⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fast. This is the grocery store that I frequent because it's the closest one to my place. They usually have the best deals on soda except for the past few months.

Parking lot is full of cars no one outside but homeless begging for change and cigarettes

I only go there to use their ATM machine because it seems that none of my cards charge a fee there. Other than that I know nothing. Rating is purely based on their ATM machine working fine for me when I need it.

I came here last night to do my usual shopping, I went to the Carnicería and picked up some Bistec, this morning when I was going to cook it I opened up the bag to realize that it was rotten! It’s ridiculous that the meat is supposed to be fresh and I couldn’t even eat it , waste of my money to be honest, every time I come here the merchandise is on the verge of expiration so this will be my last time because that’s disgusting.

The workers are always respectful, kind to ALL customers and I love to go there even if it's for just a beer.
