Welcome
to
Northside
Cafe
and
Chinese
Kitchen!
It’s
a
Chinese
restaurant
by
night,
but
early
mornings,
it’s
an
American
style
cafe/diner
with
tasty
breakfast
options.
We
stopped
in
on
a
couple
of
occasions
and
had
good
food
and
decent
service....at
Vegas
prices
of
course.
(Breakfast
is
served
all
day,
e’ry
day!)
They
have
a
$25
breakfast
buffet,
but
we
chose
to
order
from
the
menu
on
each
visit.
The
Chilaquiles
Verdes
is
$16
and
includes
two
fried
eggs
(cooked
to
your
style),
tortillas,
chorizo,
cotija
cheese
and
pico
de
gallo.
It’s
a
very
large
and
filling
portion,
but
a
little
different
than
the
chilaquiles
style
I’m
used
to.
Instead
of
tortilla
strips,
it
was
served
on
tortilla
CHIPS.
Nothing
wrong
with
that,
just
a
bit
different
and
more
difficult
to
eat
with
a
knife
and
fork.
It
was
kind
of
like
trying
to
eat
nachos
with
a
knife
and
fork.
There
was
too
much
chorizo
in
it
for
me,
so
it
made
it
pretty
salty.
Also,
not
enough
of
the
verde
hot
sauce,
or
pico
de
gallo,
and
I
wish
it
was
made
a
little
spicier
than
it
was.
The
Two
Egg
Breakfast
($16)
is
typical
breakfast
diner
food.
Includes
two
eggs
cooked
as
you
like,
with
choice
of
bacon,
pork,
or
chicken
sausage.
Also
includes
hashbrowns
and
toast.
No
complaints
with
this
order.
Grilled
Cheese
&
Roasted
Tomato
Soup
($13)
-
the
grilled
cheese
sandwich
was
of
ordinary
size,
but
included
siwss,
cheddar,
and
provolone
cheese
on
grilled
sourdough
bread.
I’m
not
usually
a
fan
of
tomato
soup,
but
hey,
my
receipt
shows
that
it
was
around
4:30am,
so
maybe
my
judgement
was
clouded,
LOL.
Regardless
of
my
hazy
state,
I
was
happy
with
what
I
can
remember
about
my
meal.
The
tomato
soup
was
very
rich
and
creamy.
The
Breakfast
Burrito
($15)
was
a
very
decent
size
and
was
loaded
down
a
smorgasbord
of
offerings.
It
was
stuffed
with
scrambled
eggs,
cheddar
cheese,
green
chiles,
sour
cream,
TASTY
guacamole,
salsa
verde,
and
pico
de
gallo.
As
far
as
quantity
goes,
this
is
probably
the
best
bang
for
the
buck
at
this
joint.
They
have
awesome
orange
juice
and
raspberry
mimosas
too.
The
restaurant
is
very
cold,
so
bring
a
blanket
or
a
jacket!
