Great place to get out and stretch. Kids can run around. You can get good pictures. It will be crowded and you might have to wait to get your picture, but definitely worth it. They have a food truck near the entrance. You will walk about 100 yards from the parking lot to the rocks just FYI. Might miss interstate traffic going this way as well. Win win. Have fun and enjoy. Spent about 30-45 minutes here! Loved the way my pictures turned out!🤩

This place is magical. Granted I came in December and enjoyed the cold over hot. There is access to explore a stretch of desert without being far from civilization. It's open desert and so many areas to take photos. The structures are vibrant colors, and stacked really high, a sight to see. The location is right before you hit Vegas or as you leave, it's approximately 20 minutes to and fro, but freeway access is conveniently located. Driving there is fun, gives the sense your driving in a lonely open desert. There is ample parking although it was packed. There is a vendor selling food, drinks, and has port a potty available. Many many tourists here. Definitely make this a stop when in Vegas, you'll have amazing photos 👋

This place is a work of art. A blast of color in an endless desert. It definitely catches your eye. The bright colors of the individual rocks are like magic to the kids. It's also a great teaching opportunity about balance and teamwork when you are explaining it to them. This piece is beautiful, thoughtful, and worth stopping by for a few pictures at the least.

Love this display of art using huge and colorful rocks just 20 minutes outside the city. There is a large parking lot on site, and it is a five minute walk (flat) to the display. Spent about 20 minutes here, so it's a good spot for break as well.

It’s near by the strip, a good spot for photos, a lot windy and cold but the art was vibrant. Better to visit on weekdays when there very few people visiting, so it’s easier to take pics with much less wait time. There’s nothing around except this colorful rocks, so drive here only for these, expect nothing else.

30 minutes from Las Vegas Strip. The artwork looks beautiful 🤩 it makes the desert more energetic! Many tourist here, but mostly come for taking photos, so people don’t stay too long. Always have parking. 11-13:00 is peak. Recommend come earlier(8-9:00)/late(after 16:00) if you want to take a photo without crowds!

I was here on October/12/20. This place pretty cool, it’s one of the roadside attraction. It is a short walk from the parking lot, but pictures opportunities. Seven Magic Mountain, seven neon- brighter colored. The contrast of those colorful against the desert and blue sky is amazing. I took so many pictures from so many different angles. Thank Ugo Rondinone.

Must visit attraction near Las Vegas. Been to Vegas over dozens of times but never took the time to visit this place. Quite unique and amazing to view in person rather than in pictures and videos. Since this is a free attraction, expect to see nonstop visitors. So capturing this in photos or videos will include people in it. These are man-made, basically painted colorful rocks on top of each creating seven separate stacks of rocks.

The only attraction that is FREE..!! What a beautiful structure made of huge stones. Vibrant colours, love the vibrant coloured photos. And it’s not too far from the Vegas city, it took just 25min after picking the rental car from ACE near airport.

While there are many thousands of reviews of this place already… if you’re looking to check this place out, it’s just fine for a short visit. Other than it being an art project, it’s good to see just about 1 time. It was fun for the drive out and about a good 10 minutes. Beyond that, it’s just a good see it 1 time and that’s good enough. It’s a quick attraction to do while you’re in Las Vegas.

An interesting photo op... Except... The first time I stopped was at the perfect time. Sunset. Lighting was fabulous and I was able to position myself for minimum or no people in my shot. Also, the moon, low in the November sky was perfectly positioned for the show. The next time, it was summer. Busy on the road and at the site. As I approached in the car, the light was flat. Although it was late in the day it wasn't quite the golden hour. I started the short walk from the dirt lot and saw the lower portion of the exhibit had been graffiti damaged in black paint. I snapped the obligatory one shot and turned back. Shame. This is why we can't have nice things.

Amazing free outdoor tourist attraction in Las Vegas! I'm so thrilled I got to see this impressive art installation, especially after hearing rumors it was only being displayed temporarily! The Seven Magic Mountains are located in the desert only 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. It's very easy to find and has a huge parking lot. Avoid wearing nice shoes or high heels if you want to be comfortable. You have to walk a few minutes to get there from where you park. A very popular spot for taking lots of vibrant Instagram pictures. Everywhere you look someone is striking a pose! This is a very family friendly attraction for all ages. It would be something fun but practical to do for a large family on a budget. I really hope The Seven Magic Mountains can hold strong in Las Vegas for years to come. Go see it while you still have the chance!

This is a great spot to stop by either on the way to Las Vegas or on the way back. The parking area is just an open area with gravel. There are tour buses stopping by, so parking for an RV and towing with a trailer is not an issue. The massive boulders are vibrantly painted which makes it a lot of fun to take photos. There are some details and information about the artists and inspiration of the artwork as you enter.

About 30 minutes away from the famous Las Vegas strip is an amazing colorful rock structure which will make your day. The best part - Its Free. Although caution, there are many people there taking pictures so you will have to rely on new technologies to magically remove crowd from the pics :) My suggestion would be to go there on the day you are leaving Las Vegas if on a road trip. Overall, a fun place for vibrant pics

Seven Magic Mountains is a must-see for anyone visiting Las Vegas. The art installation is located just outside of the city, and it is truly unique and awe-inspiring. The installation consists of seven towering stacks of colorful boulders, each one over 30 feet tall. The boulders are painted in bright shades of pink, yellow, blue, and green, and they create a striking contrast against the desert landscape. Visitors can walk around and explore the installation from all angles. It is a great place to take photos and admire the artwork. Seven Magic Mountains is a free art installation, and it is open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Here are some additional tips for visiting Seven Magic Mountains: The best time to visit is early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the heat. There is no shade at the installation, so be sure to bring sunscreen and a hat. Wear comfortable shoes, as you will be doing some walking. There are no restrooms at the installation, so be sure to go before you go. Be respectful of the artwork and do not climb on the boulders. Overall, Seven Magic Mountains is a great place to visit for people of all ages. It is a unique and awe-inspiring art installation that is well worth a visit.

I have lived in Las Vegas for 27yrs and I've never been here. We decided to go see Seven Magic Mountains on my Birthday. Even though it's just massive painted rocks, it's really cool. You feel so small next to these rocks. The weather was pretty warm, I believe it was in the 90's month of October. There is a little stand, where you can buy drinks possibly food I'm not sure. Quite a bit of visitors, but it wasn't bad at all. Everybody was polite, waiting patiently for others to take their photos so that you could take your photos. I guess you can bring your doggies there, as I seen a few. You have to be able to see this from the Freeway as these rocks are massive. Painted bright, an overall fun place to visit. I would go back again, but just when it's cooler.

This place has been on my list of places to stop. It was absolutely worth it! The rocks are so colorful and plenty of picture opportunities. There is a trail that goes out into the beautiful desert. It's a quick hop on and off the freeway definitely a must!

This is definitely a tourist stop. The parking was Greta and lots of space. There is one gate to get in and a short walk over to the stones from the parking lot. Family friendly. Lots of space to move around. Tons of pictures taken by everyone who visited. I enjoyed my time and the art of the stones. I sleep enjoyed the walk in the desert and all the views that surround the stones. I say put this a must see. Art and nature all in one.

This is an installation of Swiss artist UGO RONDINONE. The rocks were repainted a few weeks ago, and the permit to stay was extended through 2021. I was here during the Great Convergence on Dec 21, to photo the alignment between the rocks. Whenever there is a celestial event, photographers should know that lots of people will show up - so you'll have to work for those great shots! Also note, this isn't a park. It's a dirt parking lot, with no lights, paved paths, bathrooms or water fountains - so plan ahead for that. If you might be there after sunset, bring a flashlight so you can see to walk back to your car.

A must go in Vegas for all lovers of art and those who truly appreciate human creativity. I got there the day before they closed it to repaint the rocks. So anyone who goes in January will definitely see the difference. The colors will be more vibrant and alive

This is a beautiful landmark here in Vegas! It's located on the outskirts of Henderson about 25-30 min from the Vegas strip. It's an excellent spot to come and take some photos; it'll be nice to say you explored more than the strip while in Vegas.

A quick stop to stretch the legs and get moving! We enjoyed the sculptures and the cooler air. It was pretty windy so bring your glasses. That sand getting in your eyes can really out a damper on your fun. We brought water because we didn't know how long we would be staying. It is a good thing because we stayed longer then anticipated. Signs everywhere talking about venomous snakes so be careful with kiddos.

I arrived around noon on a Saturday, and this place was very busy but not crowded. The parking was fairly empty and whit plenty of parking along the perimeter of the lot, but with in 2 hrs. The lot was full and visitors had began to park on the outer edge of the parking lot. The walkway that leads to the art sculptures is gated and fenced with barbwire. The art sculptures, the history, the moment and memories captured on pictures and scenery is all beautiful, but unfortunately a lot of the park is destroyed. The boulders are full of graffiti, vulgar writing, and vandalized an upward of 3 tiers. The remainder of burned, damaged, and partially dead Joshua trees is heartbreaking. Specially as I obsessed the level of ignorance of people who climb these trees just to pose for a picture. I was disgusted by so many people and the little to no respect for nature or art work, and only one man during my 2 hr. Visit cared enough, to take the time to pickup litter and take it with him.

Beautiful art installation along Las Vegas Blvd. Free for everyone! Super crowded but still enjoyable 😉 You have to manage how to take pictures and not having big crowds around you or wait for a window when everyone is leaving. I didn't appreciate that it was a couple with a real snake trying to get $20.00 dollar for pictures. They got upset if you even try to take pictures of the rocks where they place their chairs. They can do their own business but a least let the public to enjoy the view. Plus, I read that the place is copyright for commercial use. So keep that in mind if you are going to use your photography for commercial purposes. Small enjoyable walk for picture of the beautiful mountains and plants. No restrooms available A little food stand with water and snacks. Parking lot is available off asfalt. Family friendly. The kids will enjoy the colorful pieces of art. Non Handicap friendly.

Definitely worth the short trip It's about 15 minutes south of the strip. I arrived around noon on a Sunday, and it was packed. So if you want pics with little to no people, I'd maybe try to get there early. There was a food truck there when I visited. Not sure if it's there all the time. There are also a few spots not far from it. A truck stop with white castle and other options as well as a place called Pioneer Saloon just a few more minutes away. The boulders are pretty cool to see in person. I'm glad I took the trip

5 Stars because it's free. There are no services here, no water, no bathroom, no food, no benches. You might catch a food truck in the parking lot if you're lucky. It's going to be pretty crowded so beware, it's somewhat hard to get a good picture. There are gas stations in both directions from the art piece, about 12 minutes north and 8 minutes south. You can't take commercial photos here but photos for yourself are allowed.

7 painted rocks. Not just rocks. They were cut so that they would stand on each other. Solid and firm together. Either held together by steel rods or cement. They are safe to touch. Even under high wind, they won't fall or hurt anyone. I read they were only being used as a TEMP location. After all the visitors and fame, I guess it's going to stay. They setup a parking lot. They even setup a metal display. Looks like a lot of money was used. Highly Recommended. PS. watch out for cops down the road.

This is a unique art production display for you to experience in Vegas. It's something to do away from the strip and casinos. It felt good to get out and be out doors for a bit. It's not a lot to see besides the columns, so an hour is more than enough time (unless you're with a huge party). Local rumor is if you make a wish while there, it will come true. We went on our own, there are exhibitions you can book where someone will get you from your hotel and bring you back. If you do go on your own, be aware of whether you take a taxi or Uber because it can be extremely difficult to get a ride back. Ensure you arrange transportation. Lucky we did. However, our driver told us most people get stuck out there (it's about 30 min from the strip by car).

Seven Magic Mountain : COLORS in the DESERT. Desert art installation featuring 7 painted boulder totems up to 35 ft. high by Ugo Rondinone. Perfect place for taking pictures before entering Vegas or leaving Vegas. I trip to remember and A photos , A memory to rejoice again and again. Marvellous piece of art and sculpture for every age of people. This Roadside Place is perfect place to see something unique and fun. Fantastic photography opportunity with tons of colons and happy faces. This place is a work of art. Different colors in an peaceful desert. It definitely catches your eye. The bright colors of the individual rocks are like magic to the kids. It's also a great teaching opportunity about balance and teamwork when you are explaining it to them. This piece is beautiful, thoughtful, and worth stopping by for a few pictures at the least. Looks amazing when you actually get there. Sit in the middle of the desert, stood out with it's vibrant colors.. Definitely recommend people to stop by if you're in Vegas! The massive boulders are vibrantly painted which makes it a lot of fun to take photos. There are some details and information about the artists and inspiration of the artwork as you enter.

A non-trivial spectacle, an installation of colored stones, outrageously simple but original, I definitely liked it 🗿 If you're passing by, make sure to stop by, it doesn't take long, the entrance is free and there aren't that many people. As I found out, this sculpture was created in 2016 by the world famous Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, so it's a good option to walk around, learn something new and take great photos🤳

This is easily one of the coolest places in the Vegas area, and it's completely free. If you're a photographer and want a really unique backdrop, this is perfect for that. Since it's just outside the city, it tends to be pretty quiet out here. And yet it's also very easily accessible, right off the highway and actually on Las Vegas Blvd. So if you're on the Strip and just drive south for half an hour, you'll end up here.

Definitely worth a visit. Very cool to see the colors stand out against the desert! We came in February before we moved- now that we live here, we will be bringing friends when they come visit! Lots of parking- sometimes there is a tour bus visiting but they pass through quickly.

For the Social Media Enthusiast and Photography Lover If you're all about social media and capturing cool pictures, Seven Magic Mountains provides an excellent photo opportunity. However, if these interests aren't on your agenda, you might consider skipping the visit. In essence, the place is exactly what you've seen in countless social media pictures – a collection of colorful stacked rocks. Whether you view this as art is a matter of personal perspective, and for me, it didn't leave a profound impression. Here are some key considerations if you plan to visit: Parking is free, but it's about 1,000 feet (300 meters) from the installation, and the ground is covered in gravel. So, it's a good idea to wear comfortable shoes. If you're in a wheelchair, be prepared for a significant effort to reach the rocks, and it's advisable to have someone with you who can assist. The best time to visit is at dawn – you're likely to have the place to yourself, the lighting is perfect for photography, and the weather will be cooler (perhaps even chilly, so bring a light jacket). This combination of the desert, the installation, and the sunrise creates a magnificent view. Even though Seven Magic Mountains is only about 30 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, make your travel arrangements in advance. Don't rely on hailing a cab or calling an Uber at the site, as it's not a viable option. Bring your own car, join a tour, or arrange for an Uber or taxi to wait for you. In terms of the visit's duration, it typically doesn't take more than 30 minutes. As previously mentioned, there's nothing else to see besides the rocks. There are no plaques to read, no visitor center, no information of any kind, and no place to buy coffee, water, or food for miles around – so it's wise to bring any provisions you might need. And don't forget, there are no restroom facilities on site either. (Note: This review was written in May 2021 and conditions may have changed since then.)

As of Nov 2023 this art installation is thankfully still here! This is a cool and FREE Vegas attraction that is fun to visit and take pictures at. There is parking in a small lot off on a dirt road but it does get packed fast! Pet-Friendly?- Yes 👍🐶 obviously make sure it's not scorching hot when you take your pups out there and know if they're a low rider like mine, they will be getting quite dusty lol.

My favorite things about this place is its FREE!! If you’re looking to get out of Vegas, see the landscape and some art, this is a brilliant spot to do it. It’s so stunning and looks a little different depending on the time of day. I would recommend getting out there at sunrise or sunset for best lighting if you’re looking to take photos. We went In the middle of the day and it’s bright. Keep that in mind✨

It's an okay place to visit if you are passing by. Is a great view for pictures but there is not much todo you might spend 15 to 20 minutes at the place, no public restrooms no food . After we were leaving the place an ice cream truck with a portable restroom came but that was around noon. Lots of tourists visiting the colorful rooks, It is a free entrance.

These unique stones, which are 20 miles away from the hotel where I stay, make you feel like you are dreaming in the middle of the desert. If you prefer more colorful clothes while going, you can take better photos. There are also cactus trees ahead. You can also take the mountains behind your photo and take pictures with cactus. There is also a free parking area right at the entrance.

Its a nice piece of sunshine to add to the middle of the desert. My preschool child loved the rocks and questioned why they were called mountains. Loved the colors. Scenery is beautiful around sunset. Be sure to leave before dark because the roads and the parking lot are pitch black. The short trail to the artwork is a dirt road so wear shoes you do not mind getting dusty.

The place was very crowded. I honestly don’t know what the crowd found so fascinating in these structures. I was very disappointed seeing the brightly colored structures. It appeared utterly cartoonish. Nevada has so much to offer but people choose to go here, Alas! Don’t go, waste of time.

There is a portable potty. I did not use. There is also a vendor selling items. I did not check out what they where selling. But cool place to stop and see. People where practicing social distancing, six feet distance and wearing their masks.

This is a wonderful piece of static art that is a must see if in the Las Vegas area. It won't take you long off the beaten path. Right off the highway and a fun 20 minute stop. Where else can you see 40 tons of neon painted boulders stacked up like big ice cream scoops?

  • 5/5 Amelia M. 2 years ago on Google
Love this magical colored rock formation located 10 miles outside of Las Vegas. It was over a hundred degrees in August so It was hot!! Tons of great pictures. Rock formations over 30 feet, brightly colored. Pictures come out so fun. Free parking.

Beautiful place. Those colorful rocks and the desert surrounding it just left me in awe . . random spot off the freeway... It's pretty hot during the summer but worth it .

Definitely a must place to visit if you are in the area Everytime I come to Vegas or towards Arizona, I always enjoy stopping here Definitely a great place to take pictures but also a great to relax after a long road

  • 5/5 Ciara V. 2 years ago on Google
A bit crowded, but the rocks were vibrant and really neat. My kids loved the "rainbow rocks" it was about a 20 minute drive south of vegas, totally worth it. I would say go earlier to avoid large crowds. Just like most things. And maybe don't go on a weekend, especially a holiday weekend haha.

  • 4/5 alan s. 2 years ago on Google
What can i say? Seven stacks of large painted boulders 35 feet high. It draws quite a crowd, making it a cultural phenomenon. Plenty of parking right in front. It is 8 miles down a frontage road on the side of the freeway just out of town (south of las vegas). It was worth the trip to see it since we were in the area already. Not worth driving hundreds of miles to see. It is slated to leave at the end of 2021 so visit it while you can!

If your visit in Vegas this is definitely a cool free spot to check out it’s only 25 Minutes from the strip and a very short hike. It’s a great Insta stop and you will not be here to long. Also there’s a food truck with cold beverages food and a bathroom.

I've always wanted to stop by here and check these out and I'm so glad that I did. It had started thunder-storming and pouring down rain about an hour before I arrived, but the pictures still turned out great. Definitely stop by and check them out!! It's a free exhibit and no charge for parking.

Drove by this many times and always wanted to stop but never had the time. Worth the stop for sure! Huge painted rocks! No cost. Fun photo opt or just a really neat place to stretch your feet. Brings in people of all kinds (if you just want to people watch).

This roadside attraction is literally just outside of Las Vegas… a perfect little trip to get out of the city and see something unique and fun. Fantastic photography opportunity with tons of colors and smiling faces. My little daughter loved seeing it in person. Highly recommend if you have kids!

Shot a wedding in Las Vegas and the bride and groom wanted to come out here for their bride and groom portraits. It was a super cool place to shoot around with a great vibe. I think the photos turned out great!

Very striking are exhibit in the middle of the desert. Great place to stop over if you’re driving in from so cal. It can get crowded (even during the week) so if you want an instagram perfect picture I would recommend arriving early. There is a large parking lot and It’s an easy short walk to get to the rocks. Everything is free. Enjoy!

  • 4/5 Amit G. 10 months ago on Google
I would not say MUST visit however if you have couple of hours or traveling to LA from Vegas then this is on the way. Simply big colorful stones are arranged on one over. Good place for photos. Colors are vibrant. Parking space is available. You need to walk 5 min from parking to actual stones. Walk way is little rough still. Senior and wheelchair people might need little assistance. Small food truck available if you need to purchase anything cold

We were staying at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa and decided to take a drive with my daughters and check out what all the hype about this place was? Well worth the drive. We watched the sun kiss the mountain behind the beautiful colorful boulders

  • 5/5 Jodi G. 9 months ago on Google
If you have time to take a detour, it was fun because the rocks are bigger than they look once you get up to them. Random place to take pics with friends or family. And when you get off the freeway it’s easy to get back on at the other end so you’re not backtracking. I’ll stop by again soon with different sets of peeps for more cool pics.

Seven Magic Mountains is a unique and captivating art installation located in the desert near Las Vegas. While visiting, be prepared for the windy conditions that are often present in the area. It's advisable to bring sunglasses to shield your eyes from the resuspended sand particles stirred up by the wind. Despite the windy environment, the scenic view at Seven Magic Mountains is truly remarkable. The towering and brightly colored rock formations create a visually stunning contrast against the surrounding desert landscape. It's a sight that truly captivates and leaves a lasting impression. Overall, Seven Magic Mountains offers a memorable experience for art enthusiasts and nature lovers alike, with its striking visuals and picturesque setting, despite the need to protect your eyes from the wind-blown sand.

Cute and different..definitely photo worthy! It’s just a walk up “structure” on the side of the road, but it was pretty packed when we were there. We were on a tour so only spent about 15 minutes there. This is a good amount of time for pics and to not get baked in the heat!

  • 4/5 Erin G. 8 months ago on Google
Seven "Magic Mountains" was pretty cool. I'd say it's worth going and visiting one time if you have a car and are staying near Vegas. It's free. It's not overly spectacular or anything, just some big painted rocks. But it's still pretty cool and worth getting some photos. I'd say if you're in the area, definitely check it out. But not worth going out of your way for.

  • 5/5 Rynn H. 9 months ago on Google
Looks amazing when you actually get there. Sit in the middle of the desert, stood out with it's vibrant colors. It was 115 outside yet still many people taking photos. Definitely recommend people to stop by if you're in Vegas!

  • 4/5 Iain M. 8 months ago on Google
It’s free and a short drive into the desert from the strip . If you have a vehicle and want a break from the strip then this maybe for you . Free parking and a short walk to see the seven structures, that are 30-35 feet tall . Cool photo op with desert backdrop , probably a 10-15 pit stop for most .

  • 3/5 Tina h. 8 months ago on Google
You'll see the "mountains" from the road. There is a small dirt parking lot pull off & a short path leading to them. It was a neat place to pull off for a quick stretch. We spent about 20 minutes here between looking at the rocks & walking out & back.

If you're planning on taking a road trip to Las Vegas, I've got a nice spot for you to take a break. There's not much to see or do besides taking some photos, but it's a great place to stretch your legs and enjoy the scenery. So, why not stop by and enjoy a peaceful moment before continuing your journey?

This piece is beautiful, thoughtful, and worth stopping by for a few pictures with the kids I Will Back soon

Cool art piece in the middle of the desert. Good to visit if you need a stretching break driving to/from Vegas, or if the traffic is really bad. Sometimes there are food trucks, but don't count on it. No shade. And the place is always busy so there will be other people in your photos. Free to visit. No tickets needed. Just park in the designated parking area and then walk over to the art piece. Sandy/rocky terrain, but easy, short walk. Please don't leave trash in the area when you visit.

Created by artist Ugo Rondinone, this art installation consists of seven towering stacks of vibrantly painted, neon-colored boulders. Rising up to 30 feet, they create a surreal contrast against the natural surroundings, a backdrop of the Mojave Desert. Located 30min south of Las Vegas, off I-15. There’s a decent size parking lot, fits maybe 30 cars. I arrived at sunrise and the site was empty. A steady stream of visitors began to arrive 20min after. Great drone flying location.

This is something really cool, These seven mountains adding colorful vibe to the Nevada desert. You will see lots of people coming and taking pictures here but it so good to watch and enjoy your time walking around.

This has become a place to visit…not much there so I really wouldn’t go out of my way to visit. However, it’s not a waste of time…you’ll spend about 20 minutes there and we were able to take shots without people in the shots just by moving around and looking for a good angle. It’s very nice and artistic…good thing is that it’s only about 25 minutes south of Vegas. Free parking and no cost to access.

Seven Magic Mountains is a public art installation by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone. It consists of seven towering, neon-colored totems made of stacked boulders. The contrast between the desert landscape and the vibrant sculptures creates a surreal and captivating experience, drawing attention to the intersection of nature and human creativity.

We were in town to attend the Still Raining concert at the MGM Garden Arena on Nov. 25 and one of our trio wanted to see Seven Magic Mountains. She saw that RM from BTS had come to see the artwork so we trekked down to see what it was all about. It was a cool, crisp 50 degrees with a 5-10mph breeze so it was nippy to say the least. There is a gravel parking lot off Las Vegas Blvd and it was filled with cars. We found a spot near the entrance to the area where the rocks are located. There is a fence and signage informing readers of the artist and the purpose behind the sculpture. The seven pillars are painted in some type of marine epoxy and are very vibrant. They’ve been placed so you can see different things, depending on where you are standing. Sort of like rocks placed in a Japanese garden. There was a food truck near the entrance but it was closed. When we looked more closely, they were selling ice cream. No wonder they were closed … Who’s going to eat ice cream in this weather? Not us for sure. Is it worth the trip? It depends on your perspective. I enjoyed trying to take pics from different vantage points … If you get too close you run into the “can’t see the forest for the trees” syndrome. Take a step back and enjoy the vistas … Clear your mind; you’ll come away refreshed.

Fun photo spot just outside the Las Vegas strip. It gets super windy out here. Wear closed toe shoes for the sand. Do not recommend strollers. Fun for all ages!
