This place used to be a cool chill spot. Now it's an overcrowded, overhyped lounge that's attempting to be a club. The bartenders do their best to make no eye contact with customers as they are moving and working behind the bar, so they can't tell who came to the line first or at the least who's been waiting there the longest. This is what happens when everyone splits the tips. No one has to work hard...then they complain when they aren't tipped or not tipped what they feel is proper, but tips are EARNED! No hard working person owes you anything! I digress, I waited 20 minutes at the front of the bar as the 4 bartenders served people all around me and even right next to me. One guy even told the bartender that I was next and she still took another order in front of me. Oh, and she never came to take my order at all. Then I had a security guy tell me and my friend to remove our baseball caps, yet there were at least 8 others in there with hats on. As I removed my hat I told him not to forget to chase down those others like he did us. Way too much nonsense for overpriced drinks...won't be going there soon and I wouldn't advise anyone to patronize this place.

Came here while I was staying at the Cosmopolitan because I wanted to try some of the fancy cocktails that they advertise. I went to bar, which was empty, hoping for a seat. I was told that they only allow bar stools at the slot machines (4 total). Fortunately, there was an open slot machine so I was able to sit down. I requested one of the more picturesque cocktails advertised online but was told they dont make those at the bar. They only offer them if you reserve a table and the tables have a minimum tab of $500. That was pretty disappointing. I inquired about a table reservation since myself and some other ladies were willing to book a table to experience one of the fancy cocktails. However, we were told that they're not doing those cocktails because they are out of most of the ingredients for them. At that point, I got one crown & coke then left. The only saving grace for this place was that the DJ was amazing. They played a lot of 90s/early 00's hip hop and rnb which made it easy to sit a chill. Nonetheless, I did not come back to this back for the rest of my trip.

I used to LOVE going to this bar anytime I visited Las Vegas until last Wednesday, my friends and I were asked by security to leave the bar because I couldn’t “dance like that here”. Mind you EVERYONE ELSE WAS DANCING, the DJ was playing great dancing music & I was being very tasteful, I didn’t have my legs up in the air nor was I dancing on the floor or grinding on anyone. After canceling my round of drinks and food, my friends and I left. If you have been to this bar it it set up like a small club/ lounge where there are sections w/ bottle service. I was under the impression that I would be able to dance and enjoy the music, however management had a specific issue with me dancing. I will not go here again nor will I recommend this bar to ANYONE who wants to enjoy theirs evenings in Vegas. I felt discriminated against for being who I am & what I look like.

The bar has horrible service. There are plenty of lounges in Las Vegas and there's really no reason to come to this one. Everything looks good in just photos but reality is opposite. Don't be fooled by all the photographs just go to another bar. I wish I could give 0 stars

If you like waiting 25-30 minutes for a drink at the bar when this place is always at 38% capacity, then this is your place. Local who loves Las Vegas and can’t stand places that aren’t efficient. Go at your own risk. And it’s not fun. So $18 drinks. Wait 30 minutes. It’s boring. Next.

Horrible experience. The bar was full, and there was an old couple next to us that couldn't get into the bar to watch the fights. Outside of the bar, there's a see-through curtain in which you can see the TVs. The couple was looking at the fights while gambling and two bodyguards came out and said, look at the gambling machines and do not look at the fights. We left and took our business elsewhere. I'll never give this place a dime of my money. What type of place is this? Just a company without a heart. Please save your money and go elsewhere. Please. Also, I suspect them of being a discriminatory business.

This bar should be shut down due to racial discrimination. A few days ago, my friends and I were told that it was at full capacity and 6 other people had just left and they still wouldn’t let us in until we said we saw another group get up and leave. Also, one of my friends was called a racial slur by another patron and as a result, we were told to leave while the other party got to stay. When I went back to address the situation with hotel security and manager, the other party was still inside and they failed to solve the issue until we started taking down names of the employees. This establishment has had multiple complaints in the past regarding this issue and nothing has been done or changed about it. Think twice about spending your money here, especially if you have brown skin.

Black Beard cocktail was tasty, Bulleit Barrel bourbon is a favorite of mine. Wife and I shared a plate of fried Oreos and they were amazing! The atmosphere was nice, very comfortable and warm but there were a ton of very loud TVs which really didn't keep with the mood of the place. I would go back and order a table side cocktail next time.

Sexy, upscale, modern and chic. Perfect if you want to forgo the wild club scene but if you want solid music, good looking crowd and great drinks. No cover but they charge for tables. Affordable in comparison to tables in the large/major clubs.

The greeting from the host was condescending: “I’ll seat you according to your value”. The service from the bartender was aloof and arrogant. She waited on 2 more clients before finishing our transaction and returning our credit card. We could have spent a lot of money in that bar. With a week to go in our vacation we will never return.

Be careful with your tab. Always double check your bank statement the next day you visit this place.....the management won't care if you're overcharged on drinks or tip amounts.. such a shame this place is located in the best hotel; the cosmo is awesome!!!

11/6/20 10pm Front desk “security” said $600 for table reservation only. Or if you tip him $100 you can sit with no table minimum. Came back 2 hours later and same security guard (African American guy) said $200 tip now. $100 for him and $100 for hostess to sit with no minimum. I’m fine paying a table minimum but does cosmopolitan know the workers are trying to sneak tips. Seems extortionate during a pandemic when hotel is already hurting for clients.

I was told I couldn't get service beacuse I had a temp card after waiting 40 minutes. So the girl prepped my drink and told me to go get cash. I came back and my drink was ready. I felt oddly strange after having 1 drink dont know if she slipped something in my drink but ill have a formal investigation conducted. Dont recommend it. Watch your drink.

The atmosphere was great. The bartender made me a special drink that I requested. It was a pink lady. It was a perfect off of the menu choice. The service was great and it wasn't crowded.

Small and cozy place for a quick drink or two or a snall gathering or a party. Loud and noisy music, that's of course expected on an adjacent casino floor based bar lounge. Food options were great, and everyone liked it. Drink options and choices were ample. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the service was really quick and sharp. It is bit expensive for a large group party stuff.

Music was all right, drinks were decent. The reason for 2 stars is that there were huge TVs everywhere playing consecutive 2-minute clips of random movies all night. It was really distracting and ruined the mood. We asked to have just the TV right above our table turned off, and were told it was not allowed. This was for a party with a $2000 minimum tab. Really disappointed.

Worst experience ever. Brandon the bartender or whatever he calls himself was rude and ignorant. Brought my wife to Vegas for her first time and decided to stay at the Cosmo because I heard nothing but great things about the bars and restaurants on site. As soon as we get to the bar this guy couldn’t smile for the life of him. As my wife asked “what can you make that’s fruity?” He just had attitude with his responses. I simply asked for anything with tequila. When I was going to ask for second round of drinks this guy just still had a attitude about him and I simply asked em “are you ok, you seem on edge since we arrived. Do you not smile?” His response “I don’t get paid to smile” from that moment I was livid and just wanted to close out. Coming from someone that makes a living off tips I was shocked to see this type of behavior in the SERVICE INDUSTRY. I still tipped him because I believe we all have our days, but if that’s how he is on a daily basis get rid of that guy. Every other bartender we had on site and off site were like night and day compared to this guy. Simple smile goes a long way that’s all I gotta say.

Scams I called 3 days ago to do a reservation for my wife birthday with 2 of her friends The told me it’s $500 for table & I agreed to it I ask twice if the would like me to pay in advance the said NO you can pay at the table We set a day & time My wife and friends got there the told them the price to get in is $1500 I talked to the guy that claimed is the manger To try to understand what is going on You could hear in his voice that this was a crook who wanted to make a slight profit I usually only give 5 stars to those who come. They are just not honest

Have been going here for the last two years and always loved the laidback environment. However to my surprise when we try to be seated the security in the front of the bar told us we needed to spend a “500” dollar minimum to sit at a table. Makes absolutely no sense for a hotel lobby bar in my opinion.

Walked by this place many times and decided to stop in with a friend for some drinks. The hosts were snooty and very unwelcoming. Business was slow - the bar was near full but no one was sitting at any of the lounge chairs/couches. We asked to be seated there and were told it was a $200 minimum. Really? So unless we were willing to get drunk, they would rather make NO money and have an empty lounge. We decided to go to the Chandelier Bar instead and were really glad we did. The service was excellent and we were very comfortable sitting in their nice lounge chairs. After dinner, we opted to go to the Vesper Bar - another great choice. I will continue walking by the Clique Bar to other lounges where your business is welcomed. I encourage others to do the same!

Certainly lives up to its name as we were made to feel very unwelcome. Told to sit at the bar, but we decided we wanted to sit on the settees but then was rudely moved by the host. Waitress was called to check all 4 ids…she was very unhappy maybe because she forgot her skirt/trousers. We decided to move on without ordering and told the host politely how rude he’d been. All 4 of us were smartly dressed, residents of the hotel, a mixed age group of 20s and 50s so not sure why they behaved as they did. Perhaps they don’t like English folk and we weren’t the right ‘look’. Whatever it was they never found their ideal customer during our stay as the place was empty every time we walked past. And it made us smile that the host hid when he’d see us coming past 😂.

Well made cocktail and originally a vibrant setting. The Cosmopolitan as a hotel is really an awesome setting. Was just back from seeing U2 at the sphere and had placed my sphere branded water bottle on the bar I had bought at the Sphere while I was winding down with my cocktail. The bartender then proceeded to grab my water bottle as if he was going to throw it away without even asking saying he couldn't have things on the bar not sold there. That would have been fine to say that but from a customer service standpoint, Las Vegas should be at the highest level and it was really off-putting to be treated that way as a paying customer. This is about something that human beings seem to have lost these days: etiquette. Ask and be polite and treat the customer with respect as they are the reason you are there so make them feel comfortable.

This is my favorite lounge in Las Vegas!! Tasty drinks but my favorite part is the music especially on night they have a DJ. Best song choices of any lounge. It is pricey but in line with everything else on the strip. Staff at the front aren’t always the friendliest or welcoming which is the only reason I won’t give 5 stars. Still highly recommend.

Great place for a quick lunch in Summerlin. I had their lunch combo of a half turkey/avocado bacon sandwich with corn chowder (YUM) and it was delicious. Great beer menu and their iced tea is freshly brewed which I love. Staff was very attentive to our needs. If you haven't tried Public School 702, you should!

Love love loved my visit here! We came with a fairly large group of girls and our food was fantastic! Our server, Jorden, was amazing! The staff are professional and really go above and beyond so that your party has a great time. I had gone here with a bridal party for my girlfriend's wedding. The bar and lounge has a unique and feel-good playlist. The people around were relaxed yet vibrant. Go here for a chic and chill ambiance.

I love coming to Public School 702 for happy hour.. or recess. They have great food options like their crispy buffalo cauliflower, mini wagyu corn dogs, bacon cheddar tots, and crispy naked wings! They have excellent rotating seasonal Handles and some main stays too!

Located in Downtown Summerlin, Public School 702 is a pretty good place to dine and have a drink. It is spacious, comfortable and friendly. The food is Classic American and quite tasty. They offer a good selection of appetizers and sharable dishes. The meatballs, naked wings and Rueben Sandwich are good here. The service was friendly and fast which is always welcomed. Great atmosphere, great service and great food... what more could you ask for?

We met some friends here for lunch and while I thought it was better than our first visit my husband didn't. Our friends had pb&j burger, ruben sandwich and fish and chips and they all said their meals were wonderful. I had the crispy chicken sandwich which was absolutely delicious. It had some kind of a sriracha sauce which gave it a great tanginess. There was some kind of a slaw with kale which gave it a crunchiness. It was on a brioche bun which was fabulous. I did have a problem because I asked that the waitress make sure my fries were hot but they were not so she replaced them. My husband was not as lucky. He asked for a burger medium rare and it came out with no pink. He chose not to get another one but let the waitress know. When it came time to pay the bill they said they had not only taken off his item but mine also which I thought was very nice and totally unnecessary. This is good customer service and we will definitely be back there.

I really wanted to like this place, but it must have been an off night. Bouncer was very friendly when we arrived and we quickly found a spot to sit and the first server came and was also very friendly - we needed a minute so she left and we ended up being served by another server who was also nice but seemed very hurried. We placed our orders and she went to put them in; about 10 mins later she came back and told us they were out of ingredients for most of the drinks, we then went down the menu and they only had a couple they could do so we selected those. We didn't realise we had ordered off of the "tableside" menu so they prepare it at your table. It took over 20 minutes for them to get prepared. One of our party who had ordered apparently off of a different side of the menu had received and completely finished her drink when they finally came. The tableside was not worth the wait - they again seemed rushed and dressed but it wasn't something impressive to begin with - about like you would get at the bar: dump three pre measured ingredients into the shaker with ice, two shakes, and pour it in a glass. Done. To make it worse the drinks were not that good. Of the six of us only the girl who ordered from the other menu and I drank ours. The rest left them and at $25 each for the drink. I would say it is worth a try - atmosphere is cool but just stick to the regular menu.
