Been here a few times. Traditional Mexican food. Nothing fancy. The wait staff are super friendly. The food is served quickly. I like the mango margarita. I asked to have it to be rimmed with tajin

Great Mexican food and vibe, the decor is beautiful. The servers are friendly. The food is delicious, I got a shrimp taco plate that was stuffed with grilled shrimp and rice and beans. Delectable! The margaritas are super yummy and we finished the dinner with a fried fruity pebbles ice cream! My kids were so satisfied for the night. I can't wait to bring my husband back!

We came here tonight after a wine tasting near by. What we ordered: 1.) Carnitas with Rice and Beans the pork was nice and moist and rice and beans were tasty. 2.) Vegetarian Burrito my friend said it had good flavor. 3.) grilled onions and peppers tasty. Our waitress was very friendly and food came out very hot and quickly! Have been here before and food and service is still good.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 7 years and it has been nothing but wonderful. BUT, this visit the prices of everything doubled. It used to be 14.99 for fajitas and now it is 25.99. My husband got the burrito which was 13.99 and now it is 24.99 and nearly half the size as the original one. So it is basically 4x the price. Not only was the food expensive, but the service was also horrible. The waitress checked on us one time right after we got the food and just asked how it was? She never asked if we needed anything once. And every time we tried to flag her down she seemed to ignore us. She passed by our table over 3 times and never stopped once. She only had 4 other small tables. The only good thing was the busboy. He actually was attentive and asked us 2 times if we needed anything and was available to help! Unless you want to come and pay outrageous prices I would go to another Mexican restaurant and pay half the price.

We have been coming here for years. Customer service used to be excellent and prices were reasonable. Over the past year or so it has really gone downhill. A simple one enchilada plate is now almost $17.00. All of the prices have increased and not just by a small amount. Since we love the food, we would tolerate the price increases if the customer service was good. But, lately non one even acknowledges you and you wait forever for water, for silverware, for napkins. It's just ridiculous how much the employees don't care. Today we sat for 30 minutes before a waiter even came to our table. His name was Sergio and he finally took our order and never even checked to see if our food was ok. We also had to ask for silverware and 3 different people came to our table asking "you need silverware?" Sergio never asked if we needed anything else. We basically drank out drinks very slowly because we figured it would take too long to get anymore. Even after ordering our food, which was just the enchilada plate and a tamale, it took almost another 30 minutes to get our food. Unfortunately, we have decided it's time to search for a new Mexican restaurant. We used to love coming here and did so almost weekly. Management really needs to work on stepping up the customer service.

I love authentic mexican food! This was a wonderful experience. They make homemade tortillas..so yummy! Chips and 3 different salsas made for great appetizers. ( we had 2 baskets). The service was exceptional!! I can't say that enough. I had Carne Asada burrito, which was very good. I like that the meat was not dry and flavorful. The tacos were yummy as well and big portions.

All and all the food was delicious. However, service was not up to par, and the choriqueso not good at all, as well as the bunuelos tasted lardy. The handmade flour and corn weren't up to my standards since I drive to Rosarito for flour tortillas since that's the only place I like them from.

Casa don juan has definitely become one of my favorite spots for Mexican food! It was my first time at this location, but it was just as good as their Sunset location. The food, drinks, decor and service are all great! There is plenty of staff, so there was no wait even on a Saturday morning. And the server had an assistant, which was very nice as well! We ordered: -Pina coladas (10/10!!) We didn't know they would come in full Pineapples. -Wet burrito de lengua (10/10) half red half green salsa -Chimichanga de lenga (8/10) -Tacos de camarron (10/10 Each table is also served warm tortilla chips with salsa (super yummy) and beans. The ratio of price:portion:quality:service is great, I love this place :)

My sister surprised me for my birthday. The service was not good. The food was made from canned meat. My friend ordered a fried ice cream for herself and instead of giving it to her they gave it to me as a birthday dessert but still charged her for it. They refused to split the bill and it took us nearly an hour to check out. Definitely will not be back and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Food and service were delicious! Like the ambience with the music in the background too. But, prices are a little steep. Fajitas for two, burrito lunch plate, and some soft drinks took the tab above 100 bucks...ouch.

Awesome food and great service! The fajitas were delicious and a very generous portion. Server was very attentive as well as the salsa and water refill attendant. Definitely will be back to try more dishes!

This was my 5th time eating at this chain, but my 1st time at this location. The decor is charming, the staff are friendly and on the ball, and the food was, AS ALWAYS freaking amazing! I had a pork chimichanga with their cheese dip spooned over it, and a mango berry margarita, on the rocks. My friend had fajitas. Yum, yum, YUM!

The food and service were great. The only reason for the 4 stard on atmosphere was due to the very loud music we had to request they turn down just so we could talk at the table. Otherwise fantastic.

Enjoy this place when we visit family. They have a sampler platter that feeds for of us with leftovers; it's that huge. It's a good value serving wise for the cost. Bright atmosphere and we enjoy the outdoor seating too.

So disappointed! We come here often and always bring our family and friends when they come to town. Went In tonight after making a reservation for 9, made that clear several times over the phone. Get there early wait for our table to be setup and when we go to sit there was only 6 seats. I go up front to inform them there isn’t enough space and they give me an attitude, I see in the paper where it’s written down 6 adults and 3 kids so I know they heard me. I ask if we can just take the booths and get a dirty look. Food took forever and when it arrived my fajitas were black and smelt awful, no way they didn’t notice the poor quality when they sent that out. I requested a new plate and was given one but by the time I got it everyone else was done eating and I wasn’t hungry. I’m disappointed at the food and the service and just for my part of the bill 2 adults and 3 kids was about $200. That pricey the service and quality should be on point. I know everyone makes mistakes, but this is now my second bad experience here and I’m wondering what’s going on. Used to be so good.

SLOW SERVICE, GREAT FOOD! The food was delicious, and the environment is beautiful! I love the whole vibe of the place and I'll definitely be coming back and I definitely recommend! I got the wet burrito with carne asada and red sauce and it was so flavorful! We also tried the watermelon jalapeno margarita and it was soooo tasty! Lost a star for very very slow service and the burrito could have used more meat.

The food was great! The chips, salsa and bean dip they bring out when you get there were great! I got the vegetarian burrito and had it smothered in green sauce, it was delicious and HUGE!!! Would definitely come back when in the area.

Our new favorite Mexican restaurant! Really good margaritas - my favorite is the Mango. You get bean dip and salsa with your chips (which I love). Everything we've had here has been exceptional. Highly recommend this place. Keep in mind that prices have gone up everywhere so you have to go to the places that are worth it and Casa Don Juan is definitely worth it!

Party of two at 1pm. Everybody was very friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. We ordered green beef enchiladas and chicken/shrimp fajitas. Both delicious with the shrimp overcooked but well seasoned . Flour tortillas were freshly made and the fajitas did not come with sour cream and cheese so we asked for some on the side. The salsa is not spicy rather mild but yet tasty. Gorgeous venue with an old school Mexican cafe vibe. We will be coming back for more, props to the kitchen!

Great Service, no waiting. The waiter was attentive, and the food came out quickly. It was, however, quite expensive. There were no refills on a $5 lemonade, and the sodas were $4. So, 15 bucks in just drinks that were not even alcohol. I also felt the entrees, though very good were on the expensive side. $18 bucks for cheese enchiladas with rice and beans? Not sure I'll go back because I've been to other places just as good for less money.

My daughter and granddaughter accompanied me this afternoon to Don Juan Mexican restaurant in Summerlin. The customer service was superb. The food was absolutely scrumptious. The waitresses came back numerous times to ask us if we needed anything or ask us how our meals were. This was an extraordinary experience, and I will come back time and time again, and tell everyone that I know to visit this elaborate restaurant.

Martha, Danictza, and Alex have great service, but the food quality and pricing is sub par. This is my 3rd time here and each time there's no AC and fans are blowing. Its cool they have groupon deals but there are better restaurants for less. The mix drinks, and all the complimentary eats were okay. I won't ever recommend coming here.

Living less than 5 minutes from this establishment and it has always been one of the better Mexican restaurants in the Valley. Food is great and staff is extremely friendly. Pricing has gone up over the years. Still, check out their Tequila menu, where pricing is WAY more affordable versus the strip, Downtown or DT Summerlin Food: Excellent quality Ambiance (including cleanliness): very clean, also offer outdoor seating so you are able to bring your pup Price: moderate to can be fricken expensive if you are there for the alcohol lol. Me and my wife ended up spending over $100 (including tip): Chips-free, Salsa-free, Fresh Guacamole-$6, Puerco En Chile Verde-$20.98, Whole Fried Tilipia-$22.99, 2 fountain drinks-$7.96, 2 Casamigos Tequila Anejo-$28 (still a deal!!) Service: Great!

Everything about this place is awesome! We eat here on the regular. Highlights: vegetarian burritos are the best I've found anywhere! Lemonade is yum-mers! Piña Coladas... mmmm...! Fresh guacamole, fajitas, regular meat burritos... but most especially... the SALSA! (I can drink this stuff!) And today we tried the sopapillas - delicious! Service here is great! (Thank you, Ivan and others, for a great experience) The atmosphere perfect! I can HIGHLY recommend * i gobbled up all my food so fast, i neglected to snap any photos... i did remember for the sopapillas 😋

Food was above average (average for price), service was average. When coming in, place was empty, took a couple minutes to get seated. Host of the evening asked for for sauce and dip for each side of table five times. On fifth time, they said would have to charge extra for, she was fine with. If restaurant has policy, should communicate when guests ask, not wait until fifth time, have a problem with that and why three stars. Cadillac margarita, server noted better than house, had both and recommend house. Went before and was better experience, still would go back and try again. Will upgrade rating if better experience.

we stop by Casa Don Juan for dinner after work while we were working in Las Vegas. I ordered the Mojarra Frita which was beyond delicious. It was fried to perfection very juicy. Very delicious and tasty.

We had party of 9. The service was spectacular. There was never an empty glass, chip, salsa, or bean dip bowl on the table. The food was served quickly and very fresh and excellently prepared. The area we were seated was being setup for an event later but we never felt hurried to leave. Thank you for a great dinning experience.

ordered 3 fajitas with shrimp and steak. The food was burned. It had an awful scent of burnt oil and a bitter charcoal flavor. The server was kind enough to ask me how it tastes and I informed him that the food was burned. He explained that a skillet "burns meat sometime". Bill was $140 which wasn't horrible if the food wasn't awful. It was 110 degrees outside and they didn't turn on AC, they had fans on which didn't really do much. I was ready to pass out as I was waiting for the food, So I don't recommend going on a hot day.
