Not supposed to fish here, but for a disabled vet, it's a nice little hidden gem in this city.

one of the ponds was quite scenic, and there were some great views of the wash as you get deep into the trail. worth a look.

This is unlike anything in the Las Vegas desert. Cool trails along the wetlandsl river. Totally wheelchair accessible. Easy for beginning hikers with good signage so you don't get lost.

Pretty - probably would be prettier if I went when things were not still winter-dormant. Signage needs upkeep - most of it was too faded to read. Also, the number of people clearly not picking up after their dogs is appalling. Despite these things, a nice weekend walk.

I want to send out a big "Thank You" to all that were involved in the repair of the washed out area of the trial.

It was great. We have a new Rescue dog, the Wetlands was always our go to, now we can go with Sadie... just another part of it.

Open all night. I went there to get away and think. walked the whole trail. Took a couple breaks.talked to a couple guys that were there. Not overcrowded restrooms on site nice place to meat people.

The place literally says no bikes, no scooters, foot traffic only! Why would this be labeled as a bike path?? What a waste of gas

The ornamental trees desperately needed pruning as there were several broken limbs. The bathrooms are never cleaned. The vortex flush toilets must use at least 5 gallons of water per flush to ensure no back-ups happen, but the sinks didn't offer any soap and only a few squirts of water. Not even close to enough water to rinse germs away or clean off dirt. And, I dont understand why the parking lot closes at night. If I want to walk in the riparian area, I can from anywhere, but the lot to park off the street is closed. I'm certain it's to give the homeless one less safe place to park. It's not as if they can wash there, unless it's in the toilet. God forbid we give people places to get clean.

Nothing to see but tall brush and a lil tiny creek. Saw it on fire the other day.

Nice, well groomed trails, lots of dog poop just off the trails. No homeless camps spotted but you do get a feeling of the area being inhabited by a variety of creatures of the homosapien type. Not much interesting or informative signage along the trail but they do seem to do a good job of keeping everything tidy. Regardless of my perception of it I would suggest you check it out. Maybe you will discover some gems I overlook.

Nothing really special, all there is are dried and dead plants with only 1 or 2 water sources.

There's a restroom at the trailhead. A great place to escape the noise of the city. Birds and other wildlife seen everywhere.

Love this trail. Sad that the actual water areas are littered with garbage.

This is just one of the entrances heading into the Wetlands Park. There is a public restroom, picnic tables, benches and several free parking spots here. There are 2 very visible and well maintained paths for walking or if you prefer more hiking they lead further into the park. The trailhead is clean and appears to be relatively safe. Have fun. 😎 The pictures below of the coyote in the water are approximately 1 mile in from the Duck Creek Trailhead.
