Brandy is a black nurse that talks bad to people. She's manipulative and aggressive with her words. Martina is a young Spanish nurse that has an attitude problem. She's sneaky. She changes the orders on the computer screen and denies you pain medication. I'm slowly deteriorating here. I went to Valley Hospital to get tests done. Because waiting on the outside they make you wait two weeks to a month. Valley Hospital did not run the neurological test. They sent me to Silver Hills. I'm being talked to very rudely. And one night CNA lied and said she never denied me anything. A few days ago staff called my cell phone to get a survey. That's when things got worse. I'm being treated horribly here. I think something is wrong with the medication and insulin. The food is bad too. I think they're putting something in my tuna sandwiches. I feel lightheaded and my vision is bad. I can barely walk to the bathroom. The pain I feel in my right hand and right arm is worse. And I told them I was born without my left arm. I can't breathe. I hate this place.

I am in extreme pain from surgery and other things. I paged them to ask for me meds. It took 2 1/2 hours to ask what I needed. It took another 2 hours to get my meds. This place is dangerous for anyone who comes here. Rude nurses etc. DO NOT PUT ANYONE IN HERE!!

One start is too many. I would not send my worse enemy here. My mother was sent here for rehabilitation from a stroke last week, and they almost killed her . She was on strict precautions for eating puree and thickened liquids the CNAs fed her so fast she had aspiration pneumonia and was in acute respiratory when I walked in and found her . She was struggling to breath, her oxygen was not out on her and she was left unattended. She was intubed for a week and this is a huge setback for her recovery. I never got a follow up call when I reported the incident and the place is dirty, the staff is rude and uncaring and they should not even be licensed. Do not send your loved ones here please do not, im filing as many complaints every which way I can and seeking legal action against them.

Two stars to the Night Shift, and I give them two much My husband is been there for a week the night personnel sleeping 😴 on the job, he tells me the night time sucks They give him his medicine, but if he needs something they don’t show up. it all there is CNA very rude Philis I believe is her name, Josh is good…..ADMI. YOU NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM YOU HAVE. all your patients complain about the night personnel…!!!!!

Horrible my grandmother is there and they will not return calls. Leave messages daily for the nurses and caseworker just trying to get an update and they flat out will not return phone calls. Finally a doctor called last night and informed us they put her on antibiotics because she now has sores on her legs but he is unsure when they developed and was unable to give us much more information. He said he would tell the caseworker to call which of course has not happened. She did not go in with any sores so this is kind of concerning. When she was first admitted the case worker called and said they meet every tuesday and would call with updates on those days we have heard absolutely nothing! (My mother is her power of attorney so things are supposed to be run by her) I would not recommend sending a loved one here if you ever want updates or need to get a hold of their care team.

My wife Francine Kramer was treated unfairly & was not taken care of at all back in July to August of 2021 & released to early & went into cardiac arrest after being home from Silver Hills Health Care Center for 3 to 4 days. They did not feed her & take care of the right way & died in Mountain View Hospital after she rush there on August 7 2021.

My 92 year old mom received excellent care for her 2 month stay following an accident. Everyone from the business office, to the nursing staff, to the occupational and physical therapists were absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Silver Hills if you are looking for a caring environment for your loved one. My mom even raved about the food!

My mother is currently residing at this facility and and every time I go visit her she's soaked with urine and she says they haven't given her a shower in over a month. That's disgusting . I'm very disappointed with this place.

I was at Silver Hills for about a month, and I had a wonderful experience! Everyone was so kind, helpful and caring. I've read issues regarding the staff not answering the phones. Yes, there were times my family called for updates, and they couldn't get a hold of anyone, but that's because the staff is working hard on the floor. Be patient and just try again. I would go back to Silver Hills if I ever needed skilled nursing again. The facility was always very clean and that's very important.

I was in the facility 5/20/22 until 06/17/22 after having left hip surgery. I really appreciated the staff for the great care and concern they had for me. All the nurses, CNA’s were exceptional great. Doctor Dass was great taking care of me . Also case manager amazing. I wanted to return to this facility when having my right hip surgery 7/19/22 but there were no beds available. Thank you all for your loving support 😊

Do NOT allow your loved ones to be sent there. My mother would still be alive if she hadn't been sent to Silver Hills. They skipped rehab with her & the woman in charge of rehab was criminally fined for practicing without a license. The facility is quite outdated and the service is too. Paint is peeling off the walls and the people who answer the phone line do not know who to connect you with when you have questions. This place is the personification of elder abuse. Our loved one who was recovering from cancer caught a rare skin disease here and also got a UTI from a dirty foley line left in too long. You can never get someone on the phone. And when you do they tell you incorrect health information about your loved one. This place is in dire need of an update in painting, cleaning, and health care. Some of the nurses have poor hygiene. How are you supposed to trust that they will take care of you loved ones when they cannot take care of themselves. Lastly, they sent our mom home too early and without the proper training for her colostomy bag.

My aunt Bernadine has been blind and unable to walk most all her life and my grandmother (her mom) took care of her until she herself got sick. That is when Bern was placed in Silver Hills Hospital and has been there for the past 20 years. You would think after all that time she would have many complaints, but she doesn't really have any. My aunt absolutely loves the place and loves the staff even more. She claims they have many great activities that she is very excited about participating in, she is well cared for, and really loves the food. There are certain nurses and staff members that my aunt loves since they have been extremely helpful and caring, which my family really appreciates and I would like to give them a shout out and a big thank you: Marjorie, David, Lilliana, Patty, Alice, Keysha, Carol, Isabelle, and everyone else who assisted Bern. Please forgive me if I missed someone. It isn't easy to trust a nursing home nowadays to care for your loved ones, especially after hearing about so much abuse taking place, so we are very happy to have made the right choice when we picked Silver Hills. Thanks so much guys for caring for my aunt Bernadine and for being so awesome!

This place from top to bottom was the best experience my wife has ever had in a nursing facility. The exceptional care that was provided to her will not go unnoticed. Thank you Silver Hills!

I worked at this facility for a few months and then a nurse who wasn't paying attention tripped me and I fell on the ground really hard I reported it to the main director of nursing Mary Montgomery she neglected to even send me to the doctors to get checked out she did not take any action to help me out or do anything about it.. I worked the rest of the day in pain until I finally had to report it to the RN that was the nurse on duty that day that I had to go home was lot of pain and I was not going to be back for several days. After I fell down several days later I got sick I just ended up not returning to the job. I was absolutely horrified how I manager cannot help you out and take action when you got hurt..

If I could I would rate this place a zero. My mother has been there over a week and I can’t get any of the staff to return my calls. I get a call from the facility than my mom was wandering at night a fell. That’s nothing more no details With this Covid I am high risk so a visit is not an option I am planning to move her to Wentworth for memory care. Wentworth has made numerous attempts to contact Silver Hills with no response. No return calls Avoid Silver Hills at all cost!!!!

Have been trying to contact ever department for days with no response. Calling multiple times a day and leaving messages at all departments. Mother in law is there and is vaccinated but being left in a room with other unvaccinated pts. Because they don't have her vaccination records. I understand how hard this pandemic has effected everyone and I'm not sure if they are understaffed but it's a risk to her health for no reason. Truly rediculous.

My Dad was here for 2 months. He had been in 6 different rehabilitation hospitals in 3 states in the last year and Silver Hills was the best out of them all. Getting the results we hadn't gotten from any of the others. He is home now with his family and enjoying life at 82 after a long battle. I think they did a tremendous job with a very difficult patient.

We have a dear friend who is just recently transferred back to the state he originated from 30 some years ago and has been a friend for over 50 some years and a like brother to my husband growing up. The last five months he has been in and out of the hospital in Las Vegas and transferred back-and-forth to this nursing home. This facility is understaffed and provides bare minimum care to their patients. Our friend in the last few months has developed Covid,yeast infection in his esophagus,and a UTI. He was slowly but surely fading on us. Do not believe they ever tried to get him out of bed for rehab. which started total atrophy throughout his body. After finally setting up transportation to get him back to us,where he belongs,with his family and friends he has shown signs of 50% improvement within seven days. Talking, less signs of fading in and out, up out of bed to have breakfast in the dining area. Remarkable!

I thought it was a very clean & friendly place. The nursing staff is well informed & the CNA's take good care of you. The only thing I would suggest is having the patients that need their diapers changed every 2 hrs at night be grouped together in the same 2 bed rooms. That way the other patients who are fine won't be woken up with the light on & talking. It disrupts their much needed sleep. I found this to be very unnecessary & sleep deprived. Also the food is good.

You all are doing a great job caring for my mother as she transitions to her final stage of life. Thanks for keeping track of her records and screening for COVID-19 thus allowing visitation. We are so grateful for you all. Get rest, prioritize yourself and offer care to to others. Blessings to you all.

RUN, RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU CAN!!!! If you have a family member who isnt the easiest of patients, who can be say " a pain", don't take them here. We were called at 2pm and was told our family member could not stay further bcuz of a " pending Medicaid application", and needed to leave the facility by 8pm.. They transferred him to other side of town to a weird board and care home, asked my mom for $2k cash , but let me make this clear......THEY HARASSED, my mom to the point she was so stressed out and scared they were going to dump him on the street, she took a loan out to pay this care place. Bottom line, we found it was illegal to transfer him, we could have appealed it, but we didn't know anything about anything. Very new to this insanity they call short term care, long term care. .... Medicare Medicaid. .... the admissions director, be very weary of her. She gets kick backs obviously from the board and care home. She is very convincing and pressured you into doing something that doesn't sound right ... No bueno

So many caring people work here. They go above and beyond to make sure the patients feel at home and taken care of. Beautiful facility and excellent care.

They were very hands on. The only thing I had difficulty at first was the call light. But the nurses and CNAs realized this and they've been coming in and checking on me. The people have been so kind, they have gone out of their way. Therapy has been helping with recovering and wound nurses are here often. Thank you Silver Hills.

My father in law was admit there he recieve the best care , activities, admissions ,and nurse was 5 star. Keep up the good work will recommend to friends and family.
