😠 I went to Dr Yach for my jack Russel who was diagnosed with diabetes. Dr Yach was a little arrogant talking to us like we were a bunch of ignorants. But, I ignored because I was told that he is very good. He showed no sympathy, no feelings no concerns or the desire to make him better just talking on... People often mention time, Yach, years, care, family, appointment, staff, told, West, Flamingo,

I went to Dr Yach for my jack Russel who was diagnosed with diabetes. Dr Yach was a little arrogant talking to us like we were a bunch of ignorants. But, I ignored because I was told that he is very good. He showed no sympathy, no feelings no concerns or the desire to make him better just talking only about money. We tried to overlook and continue to go for finding out what’s the best quantity of insulin to administer. He was never there and used another Dr. Dr Aron who was as cold as him. But the last time I went I need it a insulin prescription so the front desk went to get it from Dr Aron. So I go to the Farmacie and they are telling me that they can not use it because is not signed and did mention which insulin. Luckily the Farmacie knew me and they knew what insulin I was getting and also is not required to have prescriptions for. Few months later like now, I called for an appointment with Dr Yach because I had a scare but they told me that I have to wait one month to see Dr Yach so I asked to speak with the manager. She came to the phone and she said that she will ask the Dr if he can see us and will call me back. She did call back and say that the Dr agreed to see us only if I will pay double for the visit. I was speechless. We are his patient and always we get someone else. Never gave us an advise what food I should give my dog, what vegetables or anything. He was rude and insensitive. I’m sure that he was holding against me because I have an accent because at the beginning he asked me where am I from. Very sad. I can not say anything about his knowledge because he never ever gave us an advise or to help my dog because got cataract from diabetes. Very sad. Well I need to add that they are revengeful. So, from the time I left this place I was not looking for a new vet due to the fact that my baby is doing well. Last week on July 3rd. my dog became a little slow and not eat. I got scared and I called Flamingo and in a very cold manner, i was told by the office manager that they no longer is helping us not caring for a second that maybe this dog can loose his life. Let me tell you something In LA I had a vet for 14 years, Dr Fulington at Studio Animal Hospital in Studio City. The best ever. So, I pray to God to help me find a DR like Dr Fulington. Well, a miracle happened, I found West Buffalo Hospital and in special Dr. Lauren who took care of my baby and he is fine. She followed up to see how is he doing, compassion. Doctors take a vow when finish school that they will save lives. Any way, everybody at Bufalo are amazing, polite, amazing customer service. West Flamingo should close their doors. I was talking to someone advising me to take legal action. But no, I will not. God will take care of everybody and believe me He does. who refused to save a life is the biggest sin that someone commit in medical field.

Our dogs have been patients here for 9 years. My husband and I split and share the custody of our dogs amicably. He deals with taking them most of the time and occasionally, I have to picknup meds or something. The front desk have treated me as a secondary citizen since we split and are absolutely rude to me. I adopted a new dog for my family and since this dog will not be part of the ex-husband's household, I asked if I could start bringing my new dog here, and just start a new account. They told me that I would have to pay for my first appointment in advance because I didn't have an account there already. I explained that I was on the account with my current dogs and just didn't want to put my new dog on the same account. They told me I was longer on the account, and although we have been taking them there for 9 years, "Your exhusband has been a client for almost 10 years, not you..." Do yourself a favor and go to Southwest Animal Hospital on Jones and Tropicana instead. Office vists are cheaper and NO UPFRONT PAYMENTS for "new" clients.

The hospital is pretty good but this rating is for Dr Jones. He performed all the dental surgery on my 5 yorkies. He Listens!!!!!! Ask for Dr Jones if you want an excellent caring vet.

Hospitals shouldn't be appointment only, should be called a clinic. I also tried to call ahead to see if they were available to take my pet who was in a crisis and they can't even answer the phone. Then I waste my time driving over there while my pet is suffering. Then they try to price gouge you for needing to see someone on the spot, like I was supposed to predict my pet would get sick and make an appointment a week before it happened. Bad experience.

Do not waste your money or time. Do not put your beloved pet at risk at this place because the Egyptian vet DOES NOT CARE about your animals. He is greedy, corrupt, mean-spirited, and unprofessional. Oh, and he is also cruel. He has laughed in peoples faces over their pets dying and shooed them away. Oh, and he also did not provide AIR CONDITIONING to the dry cleaner next door. Absolutely inhumane. Believe all the 1 star reviews because they are REAL. Do not waste your time here. There are so many better vets in Las Vegas.

Just had the worst experience at this office!!! Our family has been preparing for the finally day of our beautiful Rottie. Never received a phone call after making appointment for our girl to be euthanized saying she needed to be seen first and checked by Dr Haggard so that her mind could be at ease with our family decision. Our Rottie has been on seizure meds for 2 yrs and while it helped at first, she has gotten worse. Yes we were told we could go with higher dose of meds but at the cost of our Rotties personality. She would basically be a walking vegetable and we don’t feel that is a quality life for our family member. Who knows the animal best, the Dr who sees animal once or twice a year or the owners? I have had dogs all my life and have never had the experience I had tonight. We made this decision with heavy heart a week ago and made appointment. To say our goodbyes and then walk in tonight to be turned away. Why? Because Dr Haggard wasn’t comfortable. To be very clear our Rottie suffered a severe bite to the head at two weeks old and wasn’t supposed to make it. She is now 8 and last two years been having grand mal seizures. It is our belief our girl is suffering and this Dr left us feeling as though we were throwing our family member in the trash, as though she doesn’t matter to us. Dr Haggards opinion is just that hers!! She may or may not know medicine but she definitely does not know how to treat pet owners. By the way this Dr is the ONLY person we have had an issue with. The rest of the staff have always been professional, respectful and gave our Rottie the up most care.

I can never thank dr. Yach for saving my Charlie’s life in so many ways… dr. Yach is such a charismatic, friendly, caring and very professional… He diagnosed my Charlie with diabetes and walked me through every step of the way… He is an extreme knowledgeable vet… My Charlie( who was obese) has lost 30 pounds within 6 months with Dr. Yach and finally he removed Charlie’s nail tumor and took such a great care of my Charlie…He always takes his time to explain everything in so many details! I have to drive 45 min just so I can have Dr. Yach as my vet!!! It is well worth it!!! And his staff are amazing as well!!! The west flamingo animal hospital offers different services and they do not overbook at all, they make every client feel very special by giving us the time to listen and the time to explain with details the diagnosis of your baby fury!!! I could never repay Dr. Yarch for everything he has done for my baby Fur!!!!!

There is only one Dr. that I didn't care for. Dr. Arnold would not hospitalize my cat. She wasn't eating, drinking. She peed on herself and was vomiting. It seemed like she was out of it. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Yach a week later. I didn't even have to ask for hospitalization. He told me to hospitalize her. I was glad! A week wasted. Who knows if my cat would have died anyway. It was extremely sad and heartbreaking. We know our animals. Anything, at age 17+ years young, that is different is cause for concern. My cat was caterwauling and losing weight. I knew there was something wrong with her. Dr. Arnold told me that many cats caterwaul. I've had cats for 50+ years and I worked at animal hospitals. Never had come across any caterwauling cat! The staff is excellent! All the other vets there I highly commend and recommend. Very clean and fresh up front and in the rooms, always.

Love this place! Everyone here is professional efficient, caring and knowledgeable. From the time we entered the building until we left we felt comfortable and so did our cat. (Which isn't an easy feat to obtain.) Every visit is a good experience and the prices are reasonable too. I haven't had one negative thing happen here. They even sent a hand written card with a complimentary nail trim after our first visit. Great job all the way around. Thank you..Dr. Billingsley you are the best. Another visit today with Dr. Arnold. Thank you all for caring.

I cannot recommend West Flamingo Animal Hospital enough! From the moment I walked in for the first time, I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they truly care about your pets. I have brought my dog in for several routine check-ups and special issues that have occurred over the years and am always impressed with the level of care both of my dogs received. The vets are thorough in their examinations and take the time to answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed or dismissed, which is something I truly appreciate. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained. Overall, I always have a fantastic experience at West Flamingo Animal Hospital and will always use them for all of my pet's future needs. If you're looking for a compassionate and skilled veterinary team, look no further than West Flamingo Animal Hospital.

The office staff is beyond wonderful. The doctors are terrible. I felt as if my dog was their science project. So reckless, the lady who does the surgery too. She really did a number on my dog. I will never forget. I just hope you guys can find a little dignity.

West Flamingo Animal Hospital is the absolute BEST! I am a new patient referral from a friend & wasn't expecting to get an appointment quickly. Dr. Yach had a cancellation & I was able to snag it! He helped us clear our GSD of a terrible skin allergy & also helped when he was dealing with some colitis. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you so much!

New client here! Took my dog Dawson in after our regulars groomer retired from a different animal hospital, he has to be sedated for grooming...sweet dog but just does not like grooming...the staff was SO helpful and kind both of the female Doctors we met with were very knowledgeable and helpful (sorry I cannot remember their names but they were wonderful) they offered several ideas to assist us with the grooming process, day of was a breeze Hailey the groomer was so helpful and friendly you can tell she cares about all the dogs she grooms, she took her time and worked with the Drs to help sedate him and were able to give him a full groom and he was feeling GREAT when we picked him up! I never felt like I was being nickel and dimed, the pricing is competitive and they never tried to up sale me or pressure me into unnecessary services which has happened to me in the past at other Animal Hospital's, I will absoluteley be retuning with both of my dogs in the future!

We've now had two of our canine family members taken care of by the team at West Flamingo from puppy stage to end of life, for a period of close to 30 years. Our most recent dog, Gianna, had health issues since she was a puppy, and we weren't sure how long she would be a part of our family. She passed away last month at 13&1/2 years (which is incredible for a long-haired German Shepherd), thanks to the care she received from Dr. Yach and his team. They are like family to us! We're not quite ready for another puppy yet, but when we are, it's nice to know we have a family to go back to. In the meantime, they will be missed.
