Just letting everyone know the southeast clinic was horrible. First of all how do you talk to a psychiatrist about having PTSD because of being Iraq and he tells you everyone has issues. He has never been in the military! How can he tell someone what to do when he has never served or been there. And then asked him about getting a service dog he said, " dogs are a mental cruch they are only for people that need them physically." What a joke! And he suggested pills.... Shocker. Oh and if you have problems with crowds he said, " stay there and deal with it." Its a shame how we treat these men and woman... Disgusted.

I don't know who they're paying for these 5 star reviews, but this whole encounter at the mental health clinic was a joke. The clerks were great, but the doctors and sorry excuses for NP's are pretty much useless as they won't even read basic paperwork. Forget any past diagnoses you've gotten because they don't care. I can't imagine discrediting a better VA doctor that's already given a proper diagnoses and taken the time to administer tests and offer appropriate treatment so you can back up your NP that's quick to just throw out scripts and boot you out the door as fast as possible on a first time walk-in when that's not even what I wanted. Great "rapport" you're building.

Whatever you do - do not bring your relative to this hospital. My father has been waiting for bladder cancer surgery for 8 months and they do not have a qualified doctor on staff. He has had several admissions for infections and when questioned in Jan about swelling in his leg, they said it was due to medication, when questioned in Fed again about swelling in the leg, they said it was due to lower lumbar arthritis, questioned again today and they said he has a blood clot. Getting his transferred out of this hospital today. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! If I could give 0 stars I would. They deserve negative stars.

I've been taking my grandfather with alzheimers to the VA hospital for over a year now with great experiences until today. He had blood pressure 237/80, which is not normal for him, normally 140/60 range. He is bradychardic(heart rate under 60) and a heart valve replacement. The ER doctor couldn't stop asking, "Why would you take his blood pressure?" Over and over. As in, I couldn't have a valid reason for taking it. I felt belittled and humiliated by this questioning.

This place is world class and the facility is top shelf! The VA often times has gotten a bad wrap in the past, you would never know it under the care of these passionate professionals. From the Doctors, Nurses, and Technicians, to the Police Dept, Engineers, and Support Crews, Iโ€™ve yet to meet someone that doesnโ€™t have my best interest at heart. You all should be very proud of yourselves and never lose this steamโ€ฆ youโ€™re paving a road for Veterans that we have longed for! I couldnโ€™t be prouder to say I was under the care of the North Las Vegas VA.

The doctors and nurses were very nice. I have been to the emergency room 3 times and have always gotten good service. The place is always very clean!

The VA provided me with a contaminated prescription for 36 days prior to telling me to stop taking the drug. They appear to buy drugs and medical devices from unregulated countries, like China and India. I hope they stop this unsafe practice. Vets need their medicines to be free of carcinogens.

I'm a 100% Permanent and Total disabled Veteran. I suffer from anxiety and depression. July 2023 I was arrested for Homicide. After spending two days in jail charges were dropped and I was released. After being released from jail. I tried to get counseling through the VA. It took over seven months to finally see a psychologist. By that time, I gained over 40 pounds and my anxiety and depression had only gotten worse. I now know why the VA has such bad reviews. I recently visited the VA hospitals emergency room for a neck injury. It's a preexisting spinal cord injury that caused me to be paralyzed from the neck down for over 30 days. The VA hospital told me I couldn't get an appointment for more than (30 days.) This is how the VA treats a spinal cord injury? ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž

It is HARD to get service and contact information on the phone. I NEVER able to contact the department or person, I am looking for. My first time going to THIS V.A. building is a maze. There is NO way of knowing how to get ANYWHERE.

After 22.5 years of military service, I retired in 1994 and started my VA Benefits paperwork immediately. VA sent me to several doctors but denied me with a rating of 0%. Years later frustrated I went to the Texas Veterans place in Austin, Tx. The person there filled out my paperwork and when I reviewed it it was all incorrect. I told him about it and his response was that VA would find me. VA then sent me the paperwork back stating that it was incomplete. I looked up the paperwork on the VA site, submitted it, and I got 60% disability. I then submitted the paperwork again and got it up to 70%. I resubmitted and got it up to 80%. In the mean time I moved to Las Vegas, Nv and after 6 months of being here I submitted my paperwork again. The response was that I was given 90% in August, cut back to 70% in September then back to 80% at the end of Sept. After speaking to a DAV rep named Grace Castillo, she suggested that I come see them. I then took my paperwork and all my Dr findings to the DAV at the Main VA office in Las Vegas and spoke to Remington Scott. He took my paperwork and submitted it. In January 2023 I received 100% disability. After 19 years of suffering, the DAV helped me obtain what I deserve. The DAV and these two individuals went above and beyond in assisting me with my VA disability. They treated me with respect and showed me that they really care about the service members.

Wednesday, 12 April 2023: When I first called to talk to an authorized Nevada V.A rep, the phone number on the website was a non working number, only with a recording, but not taking calls or messages. The second number was a real person of veteran affairs, but not able to help. Finally, I was given a valid office name and number. Mrs. LALONNI BELL was excellent from start to finish. Mrs. Bell deserves 5 stars, but the run around of getting to her was a problem at first. I give Lalonni two thumbs up.
