Truly unique experience, wanted to try something different and this was beyond what I expected. Staff was very informative and direct with safety regarding the cars. If you want to see the inside of some of the trains at the museum, then go during the day. This was about a 30 minute drive outside of Vegas and was well worth the money. If you have a few hours to spare and looking for something to do, I highly recommend doing this.

The sunset ride is gorgeous and worth it, they have an area where you can sit and relax for a bit and there use to be a train ride going back that is so much fun also! During that time I did all the pedaling for me and my fiancΓ© lol we recently went again for a night time ride with led lights. We saw the night sky beautifully. I really wish there were more lights at the end and also bathrooms! The ride back we all had to go bad, and had to pedal again yikes. This time they had self powered motors with a push of the pedals would go smoothly and easily. Overall two different experiences but loads of fun with your loved ones. I have only videos of the night ride but can only post photos.

The ride was easy both ways with an assisted motor. The sunset tour was beautiful but chilly. Definitely bundle up if you’re doing the sunset tour or neon, riding along the rails you’ll pick up some wind that gets cold. A very fun experience to share.

$160 for 4 pax. Likes: clean and wholesome fun. Good upkeep. Not great: didn't start on time, waited for other guests who were late for the safety brief. Bring your own water: the drinking fountain water tastes awfully rusty. Staff must have been a former prison warden. Really tough on casual photography. Puts u in your place. Fast.

This was one of the best experiences my family and I have ever had on a family roadtrip. We will be talking about this experience for years to come! We did the Dawn ride and it was amazing! The views of the sun going down, the helpfulness and professionalism of the staff (Bert was our favorite), the mild weather, the ease of using the rail bike, everything was GREAT! They give clear instructions that are easy to follow and we loved that you can go at your own pace which is great if you’re bringing children. When you get to the end, the lit seating area is nice. It has awesome views of the mountains, string lights and fire pits! This is a must do experience for Nevada residents and visitors alike!

I haven’t had this much fun in a long while, you gotta try this if you are in the area. I wouldn’t recommend you to do this in the summer when it is 120 degrees out even with full sun screen and sun block gears unless you are used to exposure. I was actually hoping I can get more exercise out of this but the battery assist is so strong you barely have to do anything. So if you worry about the level of fitness needed to peddle this thing, don’t even worry about it. The carts are very safe, there is a safety introduction in the beginning, equipment check before take off, the staff will give you all of the peace of mind. Very friendly people as well. You will love the experience. It takes about 1.5 hours round trip, which includes a turn around break mid point for about 10-15 min.

It was a great weekend experience the kids loved it especially the birthday boy he did not expect this. It was a great ride. Just make sure the motor battery switch is on because we had a problem going back. Our pedals were to stiff and we could barely peddle it was tiring and had the whole train behind us! Other than that it was awesome!!

Lots of fun! This wasn't as strenuous an activity as I expected it to be so I do highly recommend for anyone visiting Vegas. The train ride back was a nice surprise! Stop staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and really seem to enjoy their jobs. Don't forget to visit the train museum on site before you begin your ride!

A must do in Las Vegas/Boulder City! The staff is amazing and helpful. We felt safe at any point. The carts and the ride are wonderful, even for people who are not 7 days/week in a gym. Even if you never have been there, you will be able to complete the tour. The fun is worth more than the costs. We had a wonderful evening/night.

Great for all ability levels in the whole family. Make sure you wear socks and shoes and bring a hoodie. It does get breezy in the summer or the winter. Spots for a water bottle and a little basket for your personal items. You can also bring a small cooler and some snacks for when you get to the destination. They stop and let you sit around some fireplaces for about 20 minutes. Total trip is 8 mi about 90 minutes adventure.

What a great way to spend some outdoor time and light exercise... kind of. I enjoyed it so much more than I thought I would because they've added electric assist! Basically one person is in charge of the brake and also a couple of pedals and the motor kicks in. Tandem is faster than the quad with our experience. Nice and helpful staff, bring a snack and water for the 20 minute brake while they turn around the pedal cars. I thought I'd be hot on the trip in December but was a little cool heading into the wind, nicer coming back with the wind. Highly recommend this!

Great experience. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Coasting on the rails for most of the trip gives you time to enjoy the ride and scenery, but be prepared to pedal up the incline at the end. It was a bit of a thigh burn for 2 out-of-shape mid-60-yr-olds, but well-worth it.

  • 5/5 Denise V. 3 years ago on Google
The absolute best experience in Vegas! Worth every penny! Be prepared for a workout towards the end but a smooth pretty good speed downhill is what you can expect for the majority of the ride. There is a pretty lit sitting area while you wait for your train ride back to the station. Definitely would go again in different settings, and I dont do experience several times often.

I was in the area so I watched people getting in their railcar and taking off. You go one way and the train picks you up a few miles away. Its downhill all the way so anyone can do it . Unique and lots of fun. Beautiful scenery.

  • 4/5 Rob T. 3 years ago on Google
I would give this a 5 star but I felt it was a bit overpriced for the overall experience. But if you have $85 burning a hole in your pocket, I would definitely check it out

Had a blast pedaling along the Nevada desert with my Mom. I wish the trip would have been a bit longer just cause I was having so much fun pedaling. Hope to go back when it isn't pandemic mode to enjoy the none-socially distanced fun they offer. Watching the sun set while riding the open air train back was beautiful.

We did the 3:30 pm tour and had a great time. Staff is excellent, friendly,, helpful and professional. Site is clean and safe. We saw the staff disinfect all surfaces.. It appeared that all the riders, kids to seniors, enjoyed the adventure. We will do it again...and bring others!

  • 3/5 Kaleb P. 3 years ago on Google
A really cool adventure! There is so much more they can do with this experience, which they are working on. Affects from the pandemic have also been an issue for this as well, which we should all be able to understand, so keep in mind that they have just saddled back up this July. I truly had a great time, just wish it was a longer ride for what the price is. Should love to do the later tours next time!

  • 5/5 Patti A. 3 years ago on Google
We reserved the 3:30 time for the tour. Other than being hot 90+, they supplied umbrellas to use if you wanted to have a bit of protection from the sun. We all wore hats. Be sure to bring water and a snack for the wait for the return train ride back we all enjoyed. They have Adirondack chairs to rest. They have 4 person and 2 person rail cars. They are peddle cars, but most of the rail is down hill and we didn't need to peddle, the last half mile is more up hill, do be prepared to peddle. There are locomotives to view, but couldn't get on them. Picture ops. They took a group photo to send to your phone. However, we didn't get it, didn't come through. About 2 hours in all.

This was a really fun experience! We did the 2 seater bike during the evening. It was cool to see the stars and mountains at night! The actual time cycling on the rail tracks was about 25-30 min and then we had a short break at the end. The break stop was very cute, with patio string lights and tables and chairs for people to rest. The train then picked us up and brought us back to the station. I do wish each bike was started off with a few seconds in-between the next bike, instead of all at once. We had a couple behind us that insisted on "tailgating" us throughout the ride. Overall, this was a great experience!

Rail explorers Las Vegas is a rail experience like no other. There is lots of sightseeing when traveling down the rails with a friend or three others. After rail ride, you'll be taken back to the station by a train. The staff here are friendly, and the sites around the area is breathtaking. I highly recommend it!

Great activity, well organized, friendly staff...go for late afternoon booking to enjoy the sunset! Mostly a gentle downhill decline, but watch out for up hill section near the end, pretty much the only part we need to pedal! Arrive early to walk around the old engines at the station, but the indoor exhibits were closed when we visited.

  • 5/5 Hieu T. 3 years ago on Google
Easy enough as it's downhill for most of the way. The last stretch is where you'll need to pedal and even then it's a decent workout.

  • 5/5 Ray L. 3 years ago on Google
    Great for families.

  • 5/5 Ed B. 3 years ago on Google
The ride is fun and just long enough. It does get a little hard towards the end with a small incline for several hundred yards.

  • 5/5 Steven A. 3 years ago on Google
So much fun. The staff are friendly and helpful. Take time to check out the trains, interesting history. The ride back is just as great.

  • 4/5 David B. 3 years ago on Google
Fun to do if the weather is good, very good equipment, great personnel operating the ride. Last quarter mile is up hill and requires some work to the finish.

  • 5/5 Elena M. 3 years ago on Google
Definitely going again. Fun place to take visitors. Peddle 4.25 miles, only the last quarter mile uphill. Had lunch at the Dillinger in boulder city. Excellent day.

  • 5/5 Tiffany L. 3 years ago on Google
We had an absolute BLAST!!! it was so much fun and felt amazing being on the tracks and coasting honestly you didn't have to peddle much except for the last stretch it was a good 2 minute workout for your calves lol. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the train ride back was very nice. They're great at social distancing us too I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a nice adventure away from Vegas. They offer 2 seaters and 4 so they've got options.

A must when visiting Vegas my family and I had a blast. The scenery was beautiful. Staff was amazing!! Was recommended other places to visit and to eat close by. I would recommend bringing a light snack to enjoy once you reach your destination. Will be visiting again on my next trip.
