I
went
on
the
classic
Red
Rock
Canyon
Tour,
and
our
tour
guide
Don
was
fabulous!
Very
chatty
and
knowledgeable
about
all
sorts
of
fun
facts
regarding
the
rock
formations,
all
the
creatures
that
can
be
found
here,
a
few
different
archeological
points
of
interest,
as
well
as
even
some
history
on
the
beginning
of
Las
Vegas
in
relation
to
relics
found
in
the
canyon
and
how
they
were
named!
I
learned
a
ton
of
new
things,
even
as
a
local
who's
lived
close
to
the
canyon
almost
my
entire
life.
It's
very
minimal
walking
and
virtually
no
proper
hiking,
which
is
great
for
anyone
who
wants
to
see
some
nature
but
isn't
interested
in
a
hike
or
maybe
doesn't
have
the
mobility
to
do
one.
The
tour
itself
at
the
canyon
lasted
maybe
about
2-2.5
hours,
and
we
were
driven
to
all
of
the
points
of
interest
in
their
custom
Jeep
mini-van
that
you
enter
&
exit
via
a
few
steps/collapsible
stairway
built
into
the
back
of
the
vehicle
(which
could
be
the
only
mobility
challenge).
The
van
is
not
an
open-air
style,
so
A/C
and
heating
are
no
issue!
There
are
also
plenty
of
opportunities
for
photos,
and
this
is
a
great
time
of
year
to
go
on
their
afternoon
hike
since
it's
just
a
bit
chilly
(which
is
vastly
preferable
to
the
sweltering
summer
heat)
and
you
can
catch
the
sunset
on
your
way
back.
The
very
first
stop
is
at
the
gift
shop,
which
had
quite
a
few
beautiful
ceramics
and
crafts
made
by
Native
Americans
(who
I
hope
&
assume
receive
part
of
the
profits),
and
we
get
a
10%
discount
there
by
mentioning
we're
with
Pink
Jeep
Tours!
Overall
was
a
great
experience,
and
would
definitely
try
their
other
tours
:)
