Finally had a chance to stop by Bad Owl this morning. First thing that strikes you when you walk in is the decor and ambience - it's very fun and relaxed and if you're any sort of Harry Potter fan, you'll definitely appreciate the various nods to HP located throughout. The staff is pleasant and all I saw were positive interactions with customers. I placed an online order for pickup but it was a 20 minute wait so decided to kill time in the store. I didn't know Bad Owl had so many food items - and not the reheatable items at other coffee places. There's a fairly large kitchen area and everything is made to order. I noticed a lot of customers coming in just to pick up food orders while a couple others were there having breakfast so that's a good sign for anything looking to grab a bite. We didn't order any food this time around but there are definitely a few items I'd like to try. Will update in the future!

OK, I think one of the main reasons why I only gave two stars is because I was expecting this location to be just as themed towards Harry Potter as the other location. So I was really disappointed. But I decided to give them a chance. I went here around 10 AM, so I didn’t expect them to be really busy, but they were, so I understand why my order took a while. But it took a while for someone to initially take my order, and when I had questions, they couldn’t really answer them, or didn’t answer them like he wasn’t really listening to what I was asking….Anyway, I ended up ordering a lavender mocha which was amazing! I was torn between a regular lavender and a lavender mocha. I wasn’t sure which one would be better. I have to go back to try just a regular lavender to compare since everyone raves about the lavender coffee! This drink was the best part of my whole experience. I also ordered the classic avocado, which is basically avocado toast with egg on top. When I tried it the bread was a little strange to me but the avocado and egg part was amazing! I did think it was a little overpriced for what I got. The place was kind of cute. People came in like at Starbucks to work on their computers. The only thing I saw Harry Potter wise was the tip jar in the front with Dobi the elf, and maybe some owl coffee and souvenirs, but that’s about it. Other than that I think they should work on the customer service in the front inside.

Very nice ambiance. The place is in a very good location and the Harry Potter theme is not too much but also enough to be noticed by someone who isn't a muggle. ;) The banana frapp was awesome because it wasn't too sweet but very flavorful! The "infamous Prosciutto" was also not bad. The portion size of the sandwich was filling, and worth the try! The coffee roasts they have aren't that great, but the flavored coffee is good enough.

Bad Owl. Great java. I see some folks down below that were critical of the service. I thought the service here was amazing...witty sense of humor, helpful and remembered our name when they brought out or bevvies and then again later when the food arrived. The coffee is awesome! I had an ube latte...who knew that the two went together the food is surprisingly good for a coffee shop first. And the vibe is cool...modern and hip. Lots of power outlets for those that want to work along the tables along the wall. I have nothing but great things to say!

This is coffee place has some Harry Potter elements in it. A few Harry Potter art here and there. The coffee flight is a good choice to sample their selection. After the flight, we opted to try their signature latte. Got the banana cold brew latte and the orange chiffon latte. I will saw that both are really good but the orange chiffon latte will be ordered again when we come back.

Bad Owl is such an absolute gem - one of the best places for coffee in Nevada that I have been to. The inside is so cozy and the outside seating’s area is wonderful as well. The Harry Potter theme is such a cute and unique idea and is executed well. The second breakfast latte and butterbrew were outstanding and reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming back to try their food items.

It was our first time here and everything was great. The inside decor gave a cozy vibe. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We got the Ube Spanish Latte and Pumpkin Dirty Chai Spiced Latte (a little too sweet for me, but the flavor was there). I asked for extra milk on the side to kill the sweetness and they were nice enough to accommodate my request. We also got the blueberry turnover, which was delish! Will visit again!

    * Went back again and had the hot lavender latte. Absolutely fantastic but please get glass coffee mugs big enough for the large size it’s not the same driving from a paper cup. I also had the breakfast croissant and it was perfectly prepared and delicious. This place was awesome! I had a matcha iced latte and an avocado toast. The inside was really cute and there’s a sitting area outside as well. I’ll definitely come back.

Great atmosphere, though it was packed on Wednesday afternoon. Coffee wasn't too dark or bland. Overnight oats were yummy too, but price seems high for the portion.

This was the cutest coffee shop. It did have that Harry Potter Vibe. I had a Nutella late and a Nutella beignet. Delicious 😋

Really neat spot with good coffee and food and a drive thru. Love the atmosphere and really thought out decor. Happy to have found this spot on first day in vegas. Good portions and coffee is yummy.

Walked 2.3km just to get their very good coffee. Love their oat-chata latte!! Their butter croissant also surprised us!!

I enjoy this charming establishment, where the delightful aroma of fresh coffee fills the air. The cozy ambiance creates the perfect setting for a relaxing coffee break. However, as much as I relish my visits, the place tends to get bustling, and the limited space can feel a tad snug at times. On my last visit, I treated myself to their heavenly Pumpkin Cold Brew Latte, a seasonal delight that danced on my taste buds. Admittedly, the price tag of $8.34 for a 20-ounce serving did give me pause, especially when compared to Starbucks. Nevertheless, the sheer quality of the beverage was worth every penny, and I take great pleasure in supporting smaller businesses over larger chains. The customer service was adequate--quick and to the point. While I do savor their drinks, I must confess that the price occasionally deters me from visiting as frequently as I'd like. But oh, the indulgence is well worth the occasional splurge!

(note- they have a drive through! always nice to see!) Fantastic food and service - their breakfast croissant sandwich was ridiculously good, and everyone there was very welcoming and kind, but their coffee wasn’t my favorite. I’d like to go back and try another oat milk latte, but the taste of the one I got was just very odd and bitter with a strange mouthfeel. It had a metallic taste that reminded me of when coffee beans/grounds have been exposed to oxygen a bit too long, but again, I would really like to go back a second time to see if it was just that singular experience since everything else was fantastic! For folks who are sensitive to noise/music, it was fairly busy on a Saturday afternoon, but very manageable noise-wise. The music from 12-3 was really good (instrumental indie rock/lofi if I remember correctly), but after 3ish it became much louder with more lyrics and it became difficult to concentrate on our conversation and work. Again, I’d love to come back another day to see if this was just a one-off!

This was my first experience with this coffee shop, and it definitely won't be my last. Their cold English breakfast tea was excellent. In addition, their breakfast croissant was very good. I loved the trendy decor of the spot, and I had no problem working remotely there for hours.

Absolutely love the Harry Potter themed little coffee shop! It's very tastefully done and not over the top. I had the chai tea latte and it was terrific! Very nice, laid-back atmosphere and worth checking out!

Banana cold brew is good. I liked the Cortado. The foam is nice. Tastes like a cappuccino. My least favorite is the Nitrobrew with Sea salt cream. IMO the sea salt kinda ruins it. The Butterbrew is just as sweet and buttery as you would hope.

I was on my out of town and needed a good espresso and something quick to eat. I ordered a lavender latte w/ oat milk and while they didn't have any gluten free options for the breakfast sandwiches they offer, the man taking my order was happy to make me scrambled eggs, a side of avocado and some tots. Eating out when you have dietary restrictions isn't always easy, so when the person taking my order is kind, helpful and willing to work with me, it goes a very long way. Thank you!

My first time at Bad Owl. My new favorite!! I like strong black coffee. I ordered the orange chiffon latte on a whim. Iced. It was magnificent!! Real orange. Not syrup. You could taste the coffee. The BLT sandwich was perfection. Crispy bacon. Toasted whole grain bread. Organic greens. My tummy is happy. The atmosphere was delicious. I wanted to stay and swim in it all day. But, alas, back to work.

Loved the coffee flight. I googled so many places and this is the only place that seemed to have a coffee flight. Thank you. The avocado toast was delicious.

Amazing coffee! We normally try to find local smaller shops to support when we visit the area and this place is our new favorite. Avocado toast and banana toast are wonderful. The Harry Potter theme is a nice touch as well. 10/10 would recommend
