Nice and clean Park. The water pad is working and the kids loved it

I just went to this park this morning. It has a lot of desert landscaping but some trees. It looks like it was built on a wash so there are a few places you shouldn’t go when it rains. Quite a few picnic areas. They have four dog areas but not a lot of trees in the dog area. The park is bigger than it looks. Overall, a very nice park and great for walking the dogs.

This park is pretty epic. Usually there are 2-3 homeless people chilling at this one table but they usually keep to them selves. There are also some awesome splash pads and really nice play grounds. I did a backflip off of the swings once. It was pretty epic. Dm me if you want the video. Missions are here relatively often, usually in the mornings between 10-12. They will teach you about Jesus if you get too close. It is also next to a high school, so if you come during the day make sure to check the slides to make sure no couples are in them, so that your kids can stay innocent.

Shadow loves this park! Unfortunately the homeless ruin the bathrooms and do drugs in them so they are always locked now. But besides that it's a nice park.

Love the dog park. The barbeque area is good. Lots of room to walk around. There may be one or two homeless people hanging out but they rarely bother anyone.

There is a lady at this park who scouts around to steal dogs. She’s about 5’4, long blonde/white hair, white complexion and about 60-70 years old and she comes into the enclosures without a dog and chats you up trying to distract you away from your dog. This park used to be great, now it’s littered with weird men and creepy women. I do not feel safe with my dog there anymore.

Lots of options like a dog park, covered kids playground, water feature, and a nice walk way. There are homeless people that hang out but its not nearly as bad as the downtown area. Also my daughter and I got bitten by sand fleas while we were there. So long as you keep a watchful eye out, you should be ok here.

Went here based on reviews and was very disappointed. There are a ton of homeless here and drug deals. A man was using the splash pad to clean himself and his clothes(while kids were trying to play). Not well maintained and made me feel super uncomfortable.

I take issue with taking my grandchildren to the park at noon on a Sunday in August and the homeless have over run the park. Showering and washing laundry in the splash pad. Drying clothes on the benches. Sleeping under the playground equipment. Not knowing the mental well being and criminality, I can’t take the kids here anymore. Such a shame. Used to be a great park with a nice splash pad.

This is an OK park but with a group of homeless people camping and hanging out in broad daylight, threatening and harassing people. I was just there today walking around and taking some scenic pictures of trees and flowers for 5 minutes and then one shirtless and tattooed guy suddenly approached me and started the harassment and threat. This homeless guy looked like an inmate who just got out and freaked me out. I hope the police could patrol this park more often and keep the residents safe. I am not going back to this park anytime soon.

I'm gona have to say. We were there for hours when we realized that the restrooms where close. Men and ladies. So very disappointed. But other than that it's a great person park

Lots of people live at this park. Combine that with a high school next door and there is lots of petty crime. Watch your stuff and be aware. There is lots of grassy areas to walk through. Playground, splash pad, tables with grills, a bathroom and a dog park. I've never entered the bathroom. 1 area of the dog park suffers from routine leaking or broken pipes so it is rarely open. 1 area has torn up grass or no grass and a dead tree since it is always open while they fix the other park. 1 area has nice grass and a living tree but is only for little dogs. I've noticed more trash around this park than others in town. The dog park is not very well maintained.

It's REALLY gone downhill each of the past two years...aside from the homeless and crime there, I go/went there for the dog park...they have 3 areas where they rotate in order to maintain grounds/grass. But they haven't this year...all dirt, no shade trees...sad.

Great park only down side is when high school gets out, the high schoolers like to come and hangout on the kids play area. Other than that, great dog parks, splash pad, and play areas.

Great park, well lit but we saw a lot of huge roaches so don't leave your bags out 😮‍💨🤢

Better experience recently, due to well-kept grass and water supply is always bountiful. I just wish that they install more lights so dogs can play after it gets dark

I loved taking my dog to this park. She would get so excited every time we pulled into the parking lot. Unfortunately, the homeless have made me not want to return. It gets worse each time we went. I do have feelings and do feel bad for them. However, the last straw I had was going with my mother and my nephew. We wanted to sit down and enjoy the weather and could not find one gazebo/bench that wasn't being occupied by the homeless. One was even inserting a needle to his arm as we were walking by. Not what I want my 5 yr old nephew seeing. They throw their trash everywhere to blow throughout the park, (they have garbage cans everywhere mind you) they have their tents set up and whatever belongings they have scattered about. I would get approached quite often asking for money and a couple times they would get very angry with me when I said I'm sorry, I don't have anything for you. They still would continue to follow me and harass me. I am currently looking for another park that I can feel safer/not threatened at and one that is hopefully monitored much better than this one to take my dog to.

Really big park with plenty of parking. I went to the dog area and was very impressed with the amount of space and quality for the dogs to play.

Park was quiet when I happened to stumble upon it on accident walking home from a Dr. Appt. One day. I was quite pleased with it actually and have made this my new quiet zone and meditation zone and book writing zone so I'm kinda stoked. I also felt safe so that was a huge deciding factor as well.

This is my first time taking my kids to this park. Most of it looks nice. But the Splash Pad is extremely dirty. Where is the park maintenance!!!??

2 pickleball/ tennis courts. 1basketball court. A skatepark. Plenty of pavilions and restrooms. Looping sidewalks for walking your dogs. Exercise equipment placed around the park and steep hills to get a workout on. Well maintained.

I’ve been coming to this park since I was in elementary school. And the elementary school is actually right next to this park. I took my three-year-old there and it is a small part but it’s actually a really nice community center because it has water area through the summer which is a lot of fun for the kids plus a tennis court, barbecue area, workout area, and the actual community center which is an indoor recreational place where fun activities that take place in there. Overall this is a small and convenient community park for a nearby residents.

Spring Valley Dog parks used to be nice. Now the stop watering an area when they open it. One closest to road has been open 6 weeks w/o water. The last 3 days has killed the last of the green. Consequently the 2 parks being used are dirt and the one recovering is green.

Overall it is a good place to hang out and play. But it was little dirty when I was there. That place can use some clean up.

Great dog park, ample parking.. the dogs at this park ( & owners) are some of the friendliest...and we've been all around the US. The park is also nice, flat with a walking track and other amenities.

Homeless everywhere. Guess that’s why there were no other kids there. Playground itself was nice, but all the homeless everywhere made us uncomfortable.
