Unfortunately, my fiancée and I came for a quick lunch. Ordered Tom Yum and Green Curry. The Tom Yum came first. We actually waited 10-15 minutes before i had to stand up to find my server so I can ask where the green curry was. After sometime the green curry arrived. Unfortunately, the Green Curry is anything but green and they used a chinese satay oil spice to heat up the dish rather than real spices. (The oil sitting on the top and the non green curry were dead give aways) Anyway, we paid for the meal as it's a small business but didn't eat the food because of the disappointment in the service and the dish. Overall not a great experience. I recommend using proper chilis in your recipes, and a better process for front of the house. The server seemed to have his hands full with only 2 tables. To top it off, the owner "sun" who advertises her face on the restaurant seemed to not care about the experience her customers were having. We were very verbose and literally talking to the server 2 ft from her. I'd question an establishment with an owner that doesn't care much about the customers satisfaction. Based on previous reviews and my experience here, i think the owner should really start taking these reviews and customers seriously, otherwise this restaurant will lose a lot more business.

Excellent restaurant! I thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambiance, and soothing jazz music that played while I dined here. I ordered the ginger chicken with mushrooms, pineapple fried rice, Thai tea, and fried bananas with vanilla ice cream for dessert. As soon as I took a bite of the ginger chicken, I began to nod my head, and I never stopped shaking my head as my taste buds loved everything I ate and drank. I have a low tolerance for spicy food and the level of spicy ranges from 1-10. I specified that I wanted my ginger chicken to be a three, and although tolerable, it was too spicy for me. A level 1 on the spicy scale was just right for me. I also liked that they give such large helpings. I had to get a to-go plate because I unwittingly ordered dinner for two without realizing it. The male staff member gave excellent service and emanated a welcoming vibe. He also steered me away from the sticky mango rice because it is out of season ( I appreciated his honesty). I love mangos, and I wanted to try the sticky rice. However, the male employee said he wouldn't recommend the sticky mango rice until May, when the mangos are sweeter. This restaurant is official, and I will return! The pricing is reasonable too. The two dishes I ordered, dessert and Thai tea, came out to 38 dollars and some change.

We used to love this place! We have been coming here for years but as of late the quality of the food has really gone down the drain. My pad Thai was just a soggy mess as if it had been sitting out for a while and the papaya salad my husband ordered was just awful. We are never coming here again. It’s not the first time we’ve had bad food from here. He last four times it’s been the same. So that’s it for us. Time to look for a new Thai spot.

Boy...I'm telling you my mouth is on 🔥 📛 fire!!! Well last time I had someone order the spicy fried rice with chicken for me. And it was perfect it wasn't too hot. I should have asked for the low spice. You have a scale from 1 to 10 and I pick 10. I'm literally drinking water and a smoothie to quench The🥵 Thirst LOL but it was so worth it! But next time I think I'll go down to a 3 level.🤐🥵. Miss Sun's place is cozy and at certain times they have karaoke night? The food here is awesome! Just don't order a level 10 if you can't handle the hotness.🥵

Two stars because the food is actually delicious but their prices are not as fantastic, customer service is lacking, and consistency is terrible. I ordered tom yum Kai soup Thursday and the container was all the way full. So excited to get so much soup and didn’t mind the ten dollar price tag since it was delicious and a good amount. Ordered tonight and got a 3/4 full thing of soup for the same amount called to ask about it and they said that Thursday and tonight they actually gave me too much since a bowl is only half and a hot pot which is $3 more is the full container. They said that they’ll make sure to make it more clear that it’s only supposed to be half full for $10. Ordered a plate of pad Thai chicken which is the same price of $10 and that was a healthy portion and also delicious. We won’t be back for the Tom yum I guess since $10 for half a container isn’t worth it but also $13 isn’t worth it for the whole container.

This is our first time visiting . Super friendly greeting. It’s a cozy place. Not too many tables. If you want to eat here on Friday or Saturday night you better make reservations . They do karaoke and have live music. We had several dishes. Pork Larb salad, fried rice, beef pad Thai, see food salad, and green curry. All of them tasted delicious and right on the mark on spicy level. The courtesy lemon water tasted filtered which means it was good. We stuffed ourselves. The waitresses came by several times. Very nice and attentive. The karaoke coordinator and entertainer Jessica came by and invited us to sing. Haha they are lucky we did not take them up on their offer! Found out they have been open for 5 years. My first impression is this is a hidden jewel that would be booming if more people knew about them. So what you say Friends ? Give them a try . You will be back. I guarantee it. Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving holiday to all. Give thanks .

Amazing food, ice cold beer, appetizer was great. Service was friendly, awesome and kareoke was starting up. First time here and will definitely return. Was hesitant to share a review because I don't want this place to get too crowded. LOL.

We decided to explore this dinner spot, and the interior surprised us. The decor was impressive, and the food matched the quality. Sampling a variety of options, we found everything to be flavorful. The staff was exceptionally friendly. We've discovered a new go-to place!

I have ordered takeout 5 times. 2/5 times the order has been incorrect. The first time my order was incorrect, I didn't discover it until I got home. This time ordered Thai beef jerky, pad Thai no spice, pad see ew spicy, and pineapple fried rice medium spicy. This time I checked the order in the car and it was incorrect. The pad Thai was spicy, pad see ew had no spice, and the pineapple fried rice had no spice. I brought it back in and asked for a refund. I asked for a refund but they refused. They offered to add the spice and take off the spice. Not sure how they could do that. I asked for them to remake it at first and they refused. There was some back and forth but no resolution. Originally when I ordered the pickup time was 40 minutes from when I placed the order. I couldn't wait another 10-15 minutes so I left, I had a toddler in the car screaming and a 2 month old crying. Obviously, I can't dine in or wait around. The customer service was disappointing. They almost made it seem like it was my fault, luckily I ordered online and I was able to prove my order was incorrect. The cook came out and said she made everything with no spicy. Why? That's not the order. And why is the pad Thai spicy if you didn't add spice? The fact that this place is far from home, lack of customer service, and 2 incorrect orders is more than enough reason not to return. They lost me as a customer.

Overall just very disappointed with the food. Probably the worst $80 meal I’ve ever had. We ordered the Thai jerky (felt like a must because of the name of the place) the crying Tiger beef (had seen a video of it elsewhere and felt I had to try it, this being a place that happened to be close to us and had it on the menu, we had to check it out) pad se ew with beef and yellow curry both of which are Thai staples for us. Jerky was exactly like other Thai jerky I’ve had other places, not bad. Pad se ew came out next, it was bland, seemed like it has just been stir fried in oil, and was absent of spice (we ordered it spicy). The cry tiger beef, lord save your $15, I asked the waiter what cut of beef it was, he didn’t know, but the photo on the wall reassured me it would be a thick juicy seared steak with dipping sauce. I asked him if thats what it was, he said yes. What came out was thin charred strips of what tasted like a cut up Burger King patty, same grey color too. They should just take that off the menu if that’s what they’re serving. Last was the yellow curry, we had asked for spices for the bland noodles, so he may have told the kitchen to make the curry spicy but it was like they dumped a laddle of those dried red chilies in there. It came with one ice cream sized scoop of rice. By that time I was over it, I didn’t want to ask for rice to go so I didn’t take the curry. We paid the bill, tipped the waiter 20% but won’t ever be back.

Walking in the vibe is beautiful and relaxing. The waitress was very informative regarding the different dishes on the lunch menu (my son's 1st time with Thai food). Pot stickers and sauce were PERFECT. My daughter had the Green Curry. The rest of us had the Pad Thai Chicken. Level 2 spice was just right for me (I'm slightly sensitive). 3 is the mild, I am speaking for all 4 of us.... we were ALL sad when we finished our meal. I am a devoted foodie, I have 24 Thai cook books and make Thai and Japanese food often, im saying that I believe I have a very high appreciation for high-quality food preparation .... and I am VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDING SUN'S THAI FOOD & JERKY. I hope you enjoy your experience as much as we did, I'm confident you will.

This is an awesome place!!!! The food, I tried a plate and it was really good, the service was much better but the ambient was fantastic, its a must visit place to people that lives here in Vegas, it's so relaxing and calm, the decoration and music combine perfectly, so far this is one of my favorite places to come to eat and relax.

Very polite and great server. Food was delicious one of the best Thai food in Vegas I’ve tried. Lunch specials was perfect for me. Place is small and can be discouraging from the outside but inside is cozy and decors are nice. They do live music too never seen it though. Recommend this place for Thai food in the north Las Vegas

This place is amazing! From the food to the customer service. I have literally eaten here 3 times in one week before. Everyone who visits from out of town, including my kids just can't get enough. My daughter orders the Masaman Curry and says it's the best she has ever had. I have tried multiple dishes here, and I have never been disappointed.

Small family owned business with authentic food that is packed with flavor and packs a punch! If you don't like a lot of heat, ask for a "1" out of "5" as their food can be spicy. A couple of our favorites are their pineapple fried rice (hold the raisins for us) and the spicy mint pork. We order a heat level "2" for both.

Came here on a Sunday with my family excited to try the food because we buy her jerky from the downtown summerlin market. Their hours state they open at 12pm, we arrived 12:02 and a one middle aged man, and a young woman was just arriving (they seemed to be the owners) so we have them some time to open up, and 30 minutes later, another party arrived to try to open their door and they were still closed despite their open sign being turned on. We left and ate elsewhere.

I was very disappointed here. The food was ok. But the service was not. The server was too busy eating to serve me. Then he rushed my Thai tea too me and it had too much cream. Then, the curry came out with a tiny spoonful of rice. And they know you will have to ask for more, so they can charge 2.50 more for another spoonful. They also don’t give a refill on tw. (Amazing Thai up the road does and their curry tastes better) but they also treat the customer better. Not coming back. They made it very obvious that they don’t care much about customer service. And they are okay I g Freddy games instead of providing a fair situation. Forty dollars later, my soul is still insulted.

Order took an hour ,thats 30 minutes past the projected 30 min after we called it in so prepayed for it and tipped and sat for that half hour ,during which time I decided to purchase a can of diet coke for $2.75 and enjoyed that until our order arrived .Got it home the pad thai was a mushy looking mess yet I still tried it yielding an inedible rotten shrimp ,prompting me to spit it out onto my plate and thats as far as I went before tossong the whole mess into the trash can ,where this place's food/service belong . First and Last time for this place .

I'm not exaggerating when I say I haven't had thai this good in literal years. Reminds of the stuff I'd get at the temple in LA, or the small mom and pop shops in my old neighborhood. Prices are very reasonable compared to other places as well. If your looking for a quality, casual place to go with friends or family, this is a great choice.
