Reviewing
this
place
is
kinda
hard--if
I
could
go
3.5
stars
I
probably
would,
but
if
I'm
tied
to
either
3
or
4
I
gotta
go
3
here.
Getting
a
table/daybed/cabana/whatever
you're
looking
for
here
is
kinda
...
wonky.
So
we
had
texted
with
a
member
of
the
booking
staff
after
having
filled
a
form
out
on
the
web
site,
and
were
told
we
could
get
two
beach
chairs
for
free.
Perfect!
But
then
when
we
arrive
we
are
told,
actually,
it's
$150
per
chair.
Wha???
After
some
back
and
forth,
we
eventually
do
get
our
chairs
for
free.
But
this
wasn't
an
isolated
incident--shortly
after
we
resolved
our
issue,
some
people
nearby
who
had
been
told
they
could
get
a
cabana
for
$750,
were
shocked
to
be
told,
and
I
quote
"I
really
apologize,
but
the
person
who
told
you
that
was
incorrect,
it's
actually
$3,000."
Understandably
those
people
were
ticked
off
too!
Again,
after
some
hand-wringing
eventually
they
got
in
for
the
price
they
were
quoted.
So
just
be
aware
and
be
prepared
to
have
to
haggle
a
bit
to
get
in
the
door.
Once
you
do
get
in,
the
wait
staff
is
very
friendly
and
attentive.
Right
after
we
picked
our
chairs
in
the
shade
under
a
misting
system
(hallelujah
for
that,
in
some
100+
degree
weather),
our
waitress
stopped
by
for
our
cocktail
order.
As
many
others
here
have
mentioned,
the
cocktail
prices
are
pretty
absurdly
high,
and
that's
before
they
add
tax
and
required
18%
gratuity.
Now
I
will
point
out,
the
drinks
I
got,
while
expensive,
were
very,
very
strong,
but
I
ordered
a
pretty
straight-up
whiskey
and
soda
drink.
But
my
fiancee
ordered
some
of
the
"fruitier"
drinks
like
mojitos
and
whatnot,
and
said
hers
were
weak.
So
be
careful
how
you
order,
when
you're
paying
like
$35
a
drink!
Other
than
that,
the
atmosphere
is
cool,
we
went
pretty
early
in
the
day--right
when
they
opened
at
11AM,
and
were
out
of
there
by
2PM
when
it
started
to
get
crowded,
mostly
because
of
COVID
concerns.
But
those
couple
hours
were
chill,
switching
between
drinking
in
our
beach
chairs
and
swimming
in
the
pool
while
some
generic
dance
music
plays
in
the
background.
Overall
I'd
say
it
was
an
OK
experience,
not
great,
but
not
awful
either.
Not
sure
if
I'd
come
back
though,
mostly
because
the
prices
are
pretty
discouraging
...
3
rounds
of
drinks
and
a
couple
waters
shouldn't
come
out
to
like
$250
but
somehow
it
does
here.
